You're NOT serious are you?

Tbh, except Adeboye was quoted incorrectly by the media and bloggers (like they so often do without fact-checking and to draw online and offline traffic), then this is an absolute case of scaremongering from the pulpit and inappropriate verbal comments from a religious leader.

I suspect the pressures of old age are telling on him for him to have "gloated" over the temporary financial challenges of his former church members who are Billionaires, and he has to pick a trusted and experienced successor to lead his congregation from here on out... Then take a rest. Period.
You suspect? Until you have concrete proof, this remains the preacher's speech.

Dear Fubara,

But know this:

Wike is a non-card carrying member of APC and a formidable force at Federal level. If push comes to shove, Tinubu will malign with him.

I will advise you thread softly if not, the CSO of the country has the constitutional right to invoke a state of emergency on Rivers. And when they do, they will have the opportunity to appoint a selected (not elected) military administrator who will be loyal to them.
State of emergency on what grounds? Despite what some people say, the country isn't a zoo you know

I really don't understand this govt. You complain that people are holding over 90 percent of existing cash outside the bank and then introduce a policy like this which will only serve to discourage cash deposits. Asides getting more funds for fg to waste, what is the use of this policy?

Business › Banks Resume Charges On Cash Deposits Above N500k by franugo(op): 5:51am On May 07, 2024
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reintroduced fees for deposits exceeding N500,000 for individuals and corporate account holders.

The development is coming more than four months after the apex bank suspended the processing fees on cash deposits above N500,000 until April 30, 2024.

In a circular to customers, First Bank Nigeria (FBN) said the new directive took effect May 1.

While 2 percent is charged on deposits above N500,000 for individuals, 3 percent is charged for all deposits above N3 million for corporate account holders.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed banks and other financial institutions to implement a 0.5 percent cybersecurity levy on electronic transfers.

This is contained in a circular signed by Chibuzor Efobi, director of payments system management and Haruna Mustafa, director of financial policy and regulation on Monday.

The directive was issued to commercial, merchant, non-interest and payment service banks, as well as mobile money operators.

CBN said the policy would take effect in two weeks and charges would be described as ‘Cybersecurity Levy

You are very very stupid! Obaseki was paying #40,000 as minimum wage when FG is still paying #35,000. 32 states can't even pay 35k minimum wage despite increment in Paris fund.
You don't know what Obaseki has done for Nigerian workers! FG can't go below 70k again. The APC gubernatorial candidate can he pay the 40k Obaseki was paying before?
Edo state is paying twice what FG pays her workers, twice what Lagos state pays her workers and what Anambra state pays her workers. Kudos to Obaseki.
Are you okay? Why the vitriol? If you really believe your own lies, then there should be no need for such anger

Not really, just that Bayern n Madrid don't have that many fans in Niaja. I went to a bar to watch the match, place looked a little deserted, a big contrast to the Q/finals when city played. Today's game will be way worse tho cause less people care about psg and Dortmund.

if the presidency decided to make announcement about something that does not exist, how is that different from the points raised in the comment you responded to? is this the first time this same presidency is publicizing the existence of what does not exist?
The person I quoted clearly stated that tinubu brought a fake Maersk MD who made that declaration, that position is obviously false and I was simply stating fact. Telling a lie to ridicule another lie makes no sense whatsoever, especially when it's a ridiculous barefaced lie like that
