GreatVocalist: If Liverpool doesn't win it, then I hope Man City does. I don't mind them winning it three times in a row, as long as Arsenal doesn't win it.
People who have been without a single major trophy for a long time have become so cocky after a few seasons of improvement. Make Aston Villa do am for me today abeg.
We've already won 3 in a row boss, this win should make it 4 in a row and a landmark achievement
CodeTemplar: if he recorded because he was threatened, okay, if he was threatened because he recorded them unprovoked, then he is at fault.
If you'd actually watched the video, you'd know that the police men had already told the guy that they're taking his car without any justification. No need to rush to comment bro, NL FTC no dey pay

andy244: Try to travel out of your shell sometimes. Its good for education. Im sure you ve never been to owerri before alse you will not argue
I pass owerri and I've visited once for an occasion. I'm sure you haven't visited other states either for you to believe that Owerri is the most beautiful city in Nigeria
phemray: I don't support one party but a visionary leader and I don't hate anyone. Am always logical in reasoning, I never condemned his water project because he is not the first person to do it. Am only logically pointing out the reason for him doing it little by little from now till 2026 to be political, like every other politicians do. So he can be known in the north and be in the news regularly. because he was not doing it before now. Or are you saying he is running Charity??
He is a politician, of course all his good works will be looked upon with a twinge of political leaning. This does not take away from the fact that he is also doing something commendable by providing these boreholes when other better placed political actors had turned a blind eye. It is also a fact that if he was truly focusing on using these projects for political goodwill only, the the boreholes would be flashier and much closer to 2027. Instead he jettisoned flashy constructs for sturdier and better lasting ones and did the projects in a timeframe that does not even have any real electoral value cause we all know how electorates, especially northerners, forget what you do for them, using GEJ as a case in point.
phemray: Same way other politicians collects back Thier money.
Then he probably should have waited till at least 2026 to start building the boreholes shouldn't he? I mean the northerners will most likely forget these good deeds before the next elections. The fact that you support another party should not make you substitute your logical thinking for hateful rhetorics.
Broveens42: It was a very colorful celebration in the most beautiful city in Nigeria. Imo governor hosted some Muslim faithfulness, led by the cleric head.
Most beautiful city in Nigeria? At least try to make it look like its not a paid ad
So much tribalistic and hateful comments @seun, at the beginning of the year, you claimed that bigots and tribalistic commenters would be severely dealt with but honestly the situation has only gotten worse this year. Reading comments on NL now is such a laborious act, i used to love reading posts a d comments here cause they had substance and many funny comments that'd make you lol, it's definitely not the case today. Now, be it romance (where jennyclay and her ilk will insult all men like it was not a man that put her inside her mother), down to politics where there's an abundance of dimwits arguing over baseless, stupid and inconsequential things and using tribal slurs the way kids suckle on their mother's breasts....pls do something to sanitize this forum before it gets to the point of no return
@ op, what peter obi is doing is commendable, whether it's politically tinged or not, it will not affect the taste or availability of thr water. Commend the gesture and be on your way instead of embarrassing your lineage with ample foolishness. I say lineage because some of you people here are extremely shameless and can never be embarrassed by your own stupidity
phemray: Obi was out of government house and since then not donating anything, it's purely political and other politicians are doing same. So where is the difference. He will collect back his money, remember na ibo man oo, and a business man for that matter. them no they invest for free.
hartoyebi38: Maybe you start watching football today. Someone that played last season with injury and still managed to get the team to the final. Oh, you might have forgotten his goal in the semis at the Bernabeu last season and the previous one. His assist against Bayern Munich last season should not be counted. What a small boy mentality to think he intentionally avoided games when he is injured or unwell
That was a Very silly comment, doesn't even warrant a response bro
Ekaka14: That is NOT a penalty.....I supported Arsenal all through this game but all these antics by players should stop. If the goalkeeper caught him on his left leg that would clearly be a penalty but what Saka does is force his right knee to collide with Neur's momentum and that was a fantastic call from the ref not to give it...Period
I don't think saka forced it per se, you know football is played at a fast pace and something can look worse in slow motion. Nevertheless, i agree that ot wasn't a penalty cause Saka's leg hit Neuer's which was planted to the ground. He should have just played it, don't know why he wanted to go round the keeper.
helinues: The airliners are competitors not enemies. There are several ways Air peace could have gone about it.
Those foreign airlines also have a way of reaching out to each other. How did all of them just dropped their price if not that they might have consulted each other
Just like on the other thread, you are still yet to get the situation. Of course there are ways to reach out to all airlines, if customers can do it,i doubt other airlines will have any problem reaching the powers thay be in the company. The fact of the matter remains that: 1. The foreign airlines were charging us an arm and a leg cause they know how most Nigerians are anxious to leave the country and will pay almost any amount to do so 2. The foreign airlines were obviously making bastard money and are not happy with airpeace for bringing down the price to a more reasonable level 3. The foreign airlines will do whatever it takes to get airpeace out of the equation so they can go back to the former price they were charging or close enough to it. 4. Airpeace obviously do not have the pocket to challenge them by tanking losses the way the foreign airlines are doing now on the london route just to knock airpeace out. I know most Nigerians are pretty cheap and will probably choose the least air fare i.e foreign airlines, a situation that will quickly force airpeace out of the london route, but once that is done, the foreign airlines will most likely go back to a profitable price level. From everything up there, Allen's outburst is simply a call to Nigerians to stick up for him the way he stuck up for us by not following the foreign airlines in setting prices that are ridiculous
Chinjo2: LP is a party that was formed by NLC to provide a platform for Nigerian workers to have their say in the political happening in the country. However, NLC decided to distance itself from the party because of greed and selfishness. Now that the party has gained some ground due to the influence of Peter Obi, they are now fighting for the soul of LP. Truth is the NLC as it is presently constituted, is nothing but a gathering of thieves, rogues and misfits whose sole aim is to amass wealth for themselves. The interest of the masses is non of their business at all.
Nigerians are groaning under high cost of living, fuel, gas and the new electricity tariff but their concern is LP
It's pretty ridiculous that this is Ajaero's main thing now instead of focusing on what he was elected to do...he's looking like the worst president to ever lead nlc.
What beautyfull people....always loved Rita, she's never been the type to dress naked in the name of fashion. Scandal and wahala free and oh so gorgeous
Beluga7: it's obvious you have never traveled by flight, the screen shot shows a time difference 10 whole hours with one stop between Ethiopia airlines and Air peace, the 10 hours stop over has cost implications for tge traveller plus the discomfort and jet lag. You don't compare apples with oranges
Lol, exactly my comment to him literally a few seconds ago
deloon: Did you see the difference in the flight durations? Flights with shorter layovers or none at all are usually more expensive. The price difference seems perfectly normal.
He most likely has never flown before so he doesn't understand that a flight with a layover can not have the same price as one without a layover.
@helinues, Air peace to London is a one way flight, you enter in lagos and exit in london. The other flight in your screenshot has one layover. Also check the ETA of both flights and see the massive difference. Not everything is about rushing to comment, do your research first bro.
