Is well Brother. Christians are always like that , so I'm not surprised at your response at all. Thanks

FxMasterz: This time would pass away. It would not last forever. Every situation teaches us a lesson. Learn whatever is there to learn. You're still on a journey. The current suffering is not a destination. It's a passage. Do not be embittered against anyone. Do not allow depression. Trust in God. He would always make a way. Just as gold passes through fire to shine. By the time God is through with you, you shall shine and all your adversaries would be put to shame.
Drop your account details. You never know whom God may use to help you. Good people here on Nairaland would drop something for you as God touches their hearts.
depure: Point of correction man doesn't forgive sin, according to Catholic doctrine you confess your sins to reverend father. and after your confession reverend father gives the confessor penance and some prayers to pray, and he will pray for you.... hoping God forgives you, your sins..... Every church has there own doctrines...it's only God that knows who is perfect....it's only God that forgives sin
Oga I have heard you. Thanks. Read the other part of my comment and help. Thank you
Aurelius1: This was how I went to seek advice from a pastor friend of mine. The next Sunday I went to his church to worship, he didn't know I was in the congregation. This dude used my predicament to preach, though he didn't mention my name. He poured out everything I said word for word. Right from that day I stopped going to any pastor for advise.
Wow.. so sorry about this. That's what these pastors now do. They lack the intelligence to prepare a proper and convincing sermon, so they resort to using people's stories to pad their sermons and buttress their points. It's saddening

Sonofthemoon: Call on Jesus if he doesn't respond.. call on me and I will tell u who to call on and trust me he will respond instantly. Do the experiment
Pls Sir help me. This isn't funny. I have called on Him, but no response yet
Happy Sunday to all Nairaland members. Sincerely speaking, I look forward to meeting all nairalanders'one on one in nearest future. I even wish we can have a WhatsApp group and do video calls with one another, that's how I see you guys. I don't have a Biological family but I am glad I have you guys. I would have chosen to remain perpetually silent/quiet about my ugly situation. But silence is almost always not the Best. Consequently, I have brought this to you and hope that you alleviate my plight. I'm an undergraduate, an Orphan as well. I saw myself through secondary to University with little or no support from relatives. I'm happy to have gone through what I went through all these years because I have learnt a lot. I don't want to tell u so many tragic tales. I am going through hard times in school. My survival is at stake due to inability to meet up with my physiological needs. I can't study due to this and I seek and plead for help that u contribute whatever u can to help my situation. Nigeria is tough for everyone I know but pls spare me something as my survival is dependent on this. Pls. Happy Sunday
Ivimmanuel: we confess to even our friends or anyone else to feel better when we are in guilt. Till now people people still go for therapy and they feel better after the session. Stop bringing this civilization this in to every issue we know where to apply science where necessary and some of us have accepted our religion as an inseparable part of our life's.
Oga, it is better to confess ur sins to your Friend than to a Catholic Priest or any so-called Pastor who will use your confession as sermon on Sundays
He can make money with his fame as an influencer...
People will pay him to push dia brands and Carriers.
Don't mind those supporting this rubbish. Someone of such calibre selling Okrika in an open Market is so demeaning. Yes the hustle is legit but he has gone past that stage already. How would u feel seeing Buhari do Taxi Driver here in Abuja simply because he is Hustling. What nonsense hustling? He can use his fame to make cool cash
JOemmy: It might be that it's actually poverty that have been killing these Nollywood stars of recent is like they don't make reasonable money from their acting profession. Nigeria entertainment industry really have a long way to go this is just like seeing a Hollywood actor like Jamie fox on the streets of America selling second hand clothes
In Nollywood, only the Beautiful Ladies make money. Men don't make at all
Myer: It is with great pleasure that I wish to celebrate this year's Father's Day. God has really taught me a lot about Fatherhood. It is amazing how we can think we already know, when we have only barely scratched the surface. I am in awe of what I am yet to know that He will still reveal as time unfurls.
First, let me start by thanking God himself, our Heavenly Father. Words will be exhaustive if I should begin to adorn him with His due praises. He knows my heart of gratitude cannot be expressed by words but worship. All I can say here is ABBA FATHER!
Then I wish to thank our biological Fathers and those who played the role of Father in our lives. Fathers are a blessing that nature has not been so kind to especially in this generation. Since the fall of our first earthly parents, Adam and Eve, man has been under the curse to toil and suffer on earth, not because God is a wicked God but simply because the devil is a evil being. He knows the consequences of sin and tricked Eve to sin against God. Adam being a lover, unwittingly chose Eve over God and like wise disobeyed God. Love no go kill person.lol
God being Just, simply announced the consequences of their action/sin. I can imagine how much it grieved God. I know that God has redeemed Adam and Eve through the Blood of Jesus Christ and I also forgive their carelessness cos who would not have fallen? Well, except Christ. Thank God the curse has also been lifted in Christ. Hallelujah.
I am lucky to be blessed to have a good man as a Father. He has his weaknesses but he truly is an epitome of a Father. His shortcomings did cost us his children a lot of pain and wasted years but understanding has made me not only to forgive him but I I am trying my best to exonerate him of any blame at all. Recognising who our mutual arch enemy has always been- the devil. It some times takes maturity to understand that our parents were simply learning parenting themselves as we were learning childhood and adulthood. God bless my dad and mom and every parent out there. I celebrate especially those who try to fulfill their responsibilities and make effort to be good parents, my prayer is that God will reward you beyond your own imaginations. I pray that no matter the fault in your motive or heart, God will correct your motive and help your motive to be right with him. You will truly continue well and end well and enjoy in good health and wealth the good fruits of your good labour in Jesus name. For those that the pressure of parenting was unbearable for, I pray God forgives your weaknesses and renews your heart and strengthens you to truly seek forgiveness and redemption both with God and your family.
I now wish to celebrate Spiritual Fathers. This is a sensitive one. So many spiritual Father's have destroyed so many homes and lives. But that does not in any way mean we will not celebrate the true Spiritual Father's who have ministered where it matters most- to our spirit and souls. I have a lot of Fathers of faith and I thank them all for all they have sown into my spirit and soul and even flesh. If I have to mention names, I fear I may err in commission or omission. I do pray to be blessed enough to be a blessing to all by spiritual parents as God Wills and according to God's Grace- both male and female.
I seek to appeal to our ladies, especially single mothers. I understand that some men have nearly ruined the name Father and made it almost impossible for some ladies to love men again. But I thank you for taking it upon your selves to try to raise good sons. And I pray that God heals your heart and soul and every hurt you have experienced and are experiencing. I pray God reveals his Fatherhood to you more than ever before. I pray God restores all you have lost, even that which you pray for according to His will and pleasure in Jesus name. Amen.
It is with great pleasure that I wish all Father's, Happy Father's Day.
And I pray for the revelation and blessing of this parting Word in our hearts in Jesus name. Amen
Gen.18.19 - For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him."
akaahs: Wow, lovely tribute to all the responsible fathers out there. As a young father, i prayed everyday for wisdom, good health, financial prosperity to be able to withstand the pressure that comes being a caring and responsible father. God help us all. Amen.
delkuf: no matter how fast Christianity is ebbing away, God is it going to work a miracle like the miracle of resurrection, and revival Christianity. I believe in the word of God.
I'm not here to argue with you. I'm saying this out of my personal experience. I cry most times. Sir, I am sorry can u help me with anything u can? I'm a student without a helper
DyshApp: MAIN IDEA: God is training your heart to depend on Him and be content.
• Head Change: To know that challenging circumstances strengthen your faith.
•Heart Change: To feel grateful that God knows what you need and He provides.
• Life Change: To choose to be content with God's provision today and to trust Him with tomorrow

How much is enough? Reflect on this question as it relates to chocolate, holidays, Netflix, sleep. laughter, coffee, or anything else you sometimes feel you can't get enough of.
We may or may not be able to put healthy limits on the things mentioned above. But when it comes to our material resources, in times of plenty and in times of lack, none of us is above greed or a scarcity mindset. We can find ourselves living with the nagging fear that we will never have enough. In this session, Busola challenges our default mindset of discontent. reassuring us of God's perfect love, wisdom, and power as He pursues us, provides for us, and teaches us to depend wholly on Him.
