PoliticsRe: APC Mulls Consensus Arrangement, Osinbajo, Tinubu To Meet by Freegift75: 5:18pm On Oct 20, 2021
garnisheeabinci:
undecided Tinubu belongs to the old order of Baron thieves who have destroyed Nigeria. I wonder how any sane person in the SW thinks Tinubu can win in the North, with all the Yoruba nation agitation that northerners have fingered Tinubu since as a chief sponsor. So which region exactly does Tinubu want to win? The kind of political embarrassment waiting for him ehn, eyes have not seen. Even in South West this man will struggle to get 50% in Ondo, Oyo, in Lagos they'll use touts to chase Igbo voters so that Tinubu can get 70%. Is that how he intends to win a presidential election? Politicians never listen until they sink. The people around him will be singing his praises telling him to run so he can share criminal appointments to them. Let's keep watching
Why do you want to die because of Tinubu? Forget all these social media ranting, Tinubu would be widely accepted by West and East. Watchout

Tinubu is experienced, intelligent and visionary. Reference to this assertion is his masterplan laid for Lagos.

If anyone can rule Lagos, Nigeria is just a minor
Christianity EtcWhat Is The Correlation Of Money Making With Divinity? by Freegift75(op): 7:36am On Sep 18, 2021
*IS ANYTHING DIVINE IN MONEY MAKING?*

Sermon by Apostle Dr. Saint

Every man and woman today now has a Pastor, Imam, Alfa or Spiritualist who has turned to a minigod responsible for telling them what to do, when to do it, how to do it, all in order to prosper or become wealthy.

Upon all, quite number of Atheists are stinkingly swimming in the pool of prosperity and wealth while higher percentage of the self-acclaimed spiritually inclined people are living below their financial expectations.

The question is, is anything Divine in money making as most people often assert?

However, the same bible states that money answers all things. But, this Money the bible refers to is a product of man and not a product of God. It is manufactured in a place called a Mint, by a process of printing, using special paper, ink, engraving and embossment, to make it difficult to fake or counterfeit.

So, to have it in abundance is to follow the natural principle of its multiplication and not to seek any magic. Praying to God to give you money in surplus is tantamount to qualifying HIM to be a magician! Meanwhile, God is not a Magician.

Imagine, a Televangelist asking people who are indebted to step forward for prayers that will make their debts disappear. Well, only people who live in FEAR and SELF DENIAL OF THEIR NATURAL ENDOWMENTS fall prey to such teachings and become victims of misery from poor choices.

Haven't you heard of *MIRACLE ALERT*?

No amount of prayers can duplicate the money in your pocket, but only your entrepreneurial skill, hard work, managerial skill and productive thinking. The reason why you have to develop your MIND.

Because, the Wise ones will embark on manipulating people with teachings about faith-induced by fear, misinterpreting the dilapidating economy of the nation as demon/witches responsible for their poverty. Hence, casting out the demons to give way for their prosperity.

GET LOOSED RIGHT NOW BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE. DISCOVER YOURSELF & BE INNOVATIVE IN YOUR MINDSET.

YOU ARE NOT UNDER ANY SPELL BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT FINANCIALLY BUOYANT. RENEW YOUR MIND AND THINK CREATIVELY.

DISSOLUTION OF NIGERIA: ONLY "ALAAFIN OF OYO" AND "OBONG OF CALABAR" CONSTITUTIONALLY EMPOWERED TO LEAD THE STRUGGLE OF SOUTHERN INDEPENDENCE!

It is really common sense to understand that you cannot CALL for dissolution of what you were never Part of its signatories!

The proclaimed Leader of the Oduduwa Independence struggle, Prof. Banji needs to seek the support of the foremost Monarch, Alaafin of Oyo to agree on the paradigm shift in the existence of agreement signed by his Ancestor.

Then, Alaafin will link OBONG of Calabar with the support of other Oodua OBAs and Constitutional Lawyers in Oodua Land to seek the review of documents purportedly signed on behalf of Southern Indigenous People of Nigeria.

,'Alaafin of Oyo' coordinated all Oodua OBAs and Constitutional Lawyers within Southern-Western Area; While 'OBONG of Calabar' coordinated that of Southern-Eastern Region Royal father's and Constitutional Lawyers in the Area!

In the struggle for the dissolusion, anything fall short of the above propositions may likely spell doom, which will turned to horrible scenario and pitiable efforts on the Part of Independence Campaigners and innocent Southerners.

Suffice to recall that only 6 Nigerians signed the Amalgamation Document In 1914; they are

1.HRH Maiturare Sarkin Mussulumi and Sultan of Sokoto

2. Usuman Dan Maje who later became Emir of Kano

3. Sir Kitoyi Ajasa (lawyer)

4. HIM Oladigbolu Alaafin of Oyo

5. HRH R Henshaw (Obong of Calabar)

6. Abubakar Shehu of Borno

VENUE: Zungeru, Niger State (The Capital of the British Protectorate of Northern Nigeria 1902 - 1916

ATTENDEES
Total: 28
22 British
6 Nigerians

In view of the law, the people who signed the document are the only ones who are constitutionally empowered to call for the dissolusion.

If the agitators realky mean the business, they should do the needful legally

The problem here is the assumption that Oshiomole is the problem. That is what has been projected but it is false. They sowed a seed of discourse and he bought it hookline and sinker.

APC won all the 24 house of Assembly seats. Obaseiki denied 17 members to be sworn-in. The 17 members went to Oshiomole to wade into it. Obaseiki refused blantantly. The President asked Obaseiki to allow the clerk of the house to swear them in, he refused. Party officials pleaded with him but he remains adamant. Leaders of the party led by Baba Akande went to Benin to settle the case, Obaseiki said no.

Later, Obaseiki wrote INEC to declare their seats vacant and you think the party will subscribe to that. That is one side, a disloyalty to the party.

Oshiomole finished an International hospital before leaving as Governor. Obaseiki came in and canceled all contracts to equip the place. Oshiomole said no problem, just open the place and create jobs for Edo people, Obaseiki said no.

An Edo man, Dr. Orbih or so, I can't remember the exact name, was appointed NDDC Chairman or so ... Obaseki ensured the man was dropped. And Edo lost the chance.

Obaseiki keeps destroying all the legacies Osiomole left behind and people keep running to him. Should Osiomole fold his hands, after all, he was the one that brought Obaseiki to government.

Obaseiki started plotting for Osiomole removal as APC Chiarman and even banned him from Edo State. Your immediate past Governor who also is your benefactor. And you guys expect him not to pay for it.

*PONMO INDUSTRY REVOLUTION - TURNING IJEBU IGBO TO THE DUBAI OF ODUA REPUBLIC*

By
Dr. Saint

4th August, 2020

Some years ago when government attempted to ban Ponmo production to the advantage of leather industries, quite numbers of the producers and the retailers sustenance were dreadfully threatened, with tears rolling out and the social media awashed with protest from concerned Nigerians saying, No – Ko Jo Rara, #bringbackourponmo#

Hence, the feasibility study carried out on ponmo cottage industry in Ijebu Igbo exhibits how the lucrative venture could invoke economic revolution that will inclusively address major challenges militating against the development of the town, if the concerned influential citizens and government set to collaborate and take the bull by the horn.

Ponmo business in Ijebu Igbo has been in existence for over 50yrs as professed by one Adigun Abiola. It is a popular delicacy among Nigerians, especially people of the South-West, which is rich in fibre and vitamins and good for body consumption. Ponmo is cow skin processed to become edible and is often used in lieu of beef or such other condiments. The processed ponmo is used for Egusi soup, Pepper soup, Banga soup and Vegetable.

Literally, there are two major types of ponmo; the brown and the white. Ijebu Igbo people practitioners are renowned for their expertise in the production of the brown ponmo in commercial quantities with so many people engaged in diverse aspects of the trade. It is a venture that is presently filling the vacuum of unemployment in the town. And in spite of the multitude who engaged in the business, demand is still high, ensuring that every person trades at a high profit.

A special study carried out on this venture in Ijebu Igbo shows that it can be extremely developed and promoted to the international level for the advantage of economic development of the town. Bringing economic revolution to the ponmo business in Ijebu Igbo can be harnessed by both government and private organizations, with proactive intervention in harmonizing and consolidating all individual practitioner efforts with aim and objective of revolutionary the industry to the good economic development of the town.

In this vein, a projection towards building PONMON INDUSTRIAL HUB on a large expanse of land in Ijebu Igbo is hereby proposed, where infrastructures, health system and modern technology will be put in place to attract foreign investors. It is a developmental initiative believed could be facilitated by Government and private partnership intervention.

The Ijebu Igbo Ponmo is a popular cow skin hygienically processed into an edible stuff for both the rich and the average common man. It has become a very lucrative venture in the town as it is often exported to major parts of Nigeria including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and many other towns.

Ijebu Igbo is the headquarters of Ijebu North local government in Ogun State. Aside the farming, Okada transport, sawmill, cow butchery and petty trading, Ponmo venture has become a very strong enterprise that is providing massive employment towards the sustenance of the community wellbeing.

This proposed Ponmo industrial hub in the town is expected to integrate and reposition all the independent practitioners within the town into one unified and regulated entity to the advantage of reducing environmental and health hazards, and expansive economic prosperity of the town.

The policy of this assemblage where the production will be confined to a specific terrain is expected to give room for substantive regulations, incorporation and administration, which is expected to attract World Bank, Bank of Industry and cooperate bodies’ interests for further investments and technological promotion.

In the study, some of the advantages to derive from this proposal will include:
• More employment opportunities for the youth
• More investment drives to the Elite
• More government attentions to the town
• The dead financial institutions in the town would be revived.
• It will enhance economic prosperity of the town
• Revenue generation will rise
• Foreign investors will be attracted
• There shall be security for the business

In the final note, as the economic benefits of Ponmo industry can never be over-estimated, it is a drive that the local and State government can look into by setting up a committee to work on this proposal.

At this juncture, it becomes imperative for all concerned and interested parties to map out the strategies of influencing both government and private organizations to enhance the Ponmo ventures so as to turn Ijebu Igbo, our pride, to become the DUBAI of ODUA REPUBLIC.

CultureThe Ijebus In Nigeria: Yoruba's Colonization & Hegemony by Freegift75(op):
THE IJEBUS IN NIGERIA: Their lost Pride Through Yoruba's Literary Colonization & Imperial Hegemony

By
Dr. Saint

HISTORY is universally believed to be the best medicine to the traditional wellbeing of every community.

According to the word of historian David McCullough, he once said, “we need history as much as we need food or water or love”, which translates to mean that, history is tremendously significant in all facets of human life, medically, religiously, culturally, socially, economically and scientifically.

In lieu of that, the trauma of historical irregularities and contradictions explicitly portrays in the variances of the traditional documentations among Yoruba historical scholars have, however, appeared worrisome to the present generation of the Ijebu speakers who allege to have being literarily deprived of the right understanding to their ancestral root.

What hitherto spurs this curiocity is the concern over the rate at which the present generation of the Ijebu-speakers in Nigeria is lost in the confusion of the understanding of their true ancestral root, as what is being taught in the literary discourses in Nigeria is the history of Yoruba – a system of indirect colonization that had deprived the ancestral pride of the Ijebus.

In the course of this curiocity, the pertinent questions seeking profound answers are:

1. What is the true meaning of Ijebu?
2. When did the Ijebu Kingdom coalesce in Nigeria?
3. What circumstance instigated the formation of the Ijebu Kingdom?
4. Is the claim of linkage to Biblical Jebusites realistic?
5. Are the ancestors of the present Ijebu towns all Ijebus by origin?
6. Who is ALARE?
7. How did Awujale Stool gain the paramountcy over all other traditional rulers?
8. Who are the first generation traditional rulers in Ijebuland?
9. Where did the old Ijebu kingdom emanate from?
10 What was the reality of Queen of Sheba and her influence over the development of Ijebu kingdom?
11. Who were the original Yoruba speakers, and why the dialect override Ijebu-dialect in literary discourses in Nigeria?
12. What is the origin of YORUBA, and its hegemony over the IJEBUS?

Virtually all the Ijebu speakers in Nigeria are ignorant to the true understanding of the above questions. This is the time to revive our heritage and the historical pride.

Since the tradition of human evolution, history has being the window through which the past events are post-viewed, preserved, promoted and celebrated with basic objective of enriching cultural and ancestral understanding of people so as to inclusively avoid cultural extinction and traditional hegemony.

In this era of traditional subjugatory contentions, the Ijebus must rise to the chalenges

This exploratory package, in its captivating aura will capture the feelings of several people who had been previously abreast with contradictory historical knowledge about the origin of the Ijebus in Nigeria. It will further bring to the world view the Ijebus glamorous past as active partakers in the ancient civilization and point the searchlight far beyond 18th century to which many history aristocrats and potentates still cling.

It's unfortunate that you are sounding unapologetic in this regard.

Lack of priority is one of the major cancerworms devouring the fabric of Nigeria's development. While the leaders lack the right perspective to better lives, the followers also subject themselves to be gullible.

Be you who ever you are, I cant exchange banter with you but to enlighten more on the fundamental clause that people are ignorant of.

Firstly, I expect LABOUR UNION to shut all parastatals for government to review the JUMBO PAY of the politicians. Their salary should be slashed to the level of Civil Servants.

Many people never ascertain that all these jumbo pay to the politically elected people is a major factor that contributes to the societal insecurity.

Most of these politician directly or indirectly promote insecurity. Boko haram today was a machination of the politicians before it eacalated beyond control.

Politicians groom and harbour tugs that subsequently metamorphose to constitute nuisance in the society.

That Professors support the revolution protest doesnt mean it is the right step in right direction. TRUE REVOLUTION IS APPLICATION OF POWER TO EFFECT A CHANGE.

In what way can SOWORE protest bring about the change we desire in this country.

Let all the LABOUR UNION incliding OIL MINING, ELECTRICITY COMPANIES, AVIATION and other reach a conscesus to bring a change to Nigeria.

Let them shot the system down until a new agreement for restructuring is reached. Then REVOLUTION PROTEST will have meaning and effect.

THE KINGDOM SUFFERS VIOLENCE AND IT TAKES MENTAL REVOLUTION TO TAKE IT BACK BY FORCE.

Apology for describing most Nigerians as numskulls!

We all witnessed the last four years of Buhari and still Nigerians voted him back to office. WHO TO BLAME?

Are the *REVOLUTION PROTESTERS* not part of people who voted Buhari back to office?

If truly SOWORE has good intention for Nigeria, he could have shed his presidential ambition to coalesce all other to key in same mission to rescue Nigeria during 2019 presidential election. He could have expended same vigour to appeal to Nigerians then than now for the revolution. But now, it is medicine after death.

FIVE MISTAKES OF SOWORE IN THIS REVOLUTION MISSION

The first mistake Sowore made was to have mistaken the large number of READERS of Sahara Reporters for Sowore's LOVERS. Nigerians are more wisers

The second mistake was that he contested in an election of which results eventually revealed his impotent popularity. He is craving for fame, to be a heroe and not truthfully passionate to rescue Nigeria. Imagine Labour Union denies him

The third, in Sowore's bid to enlarge his acquaintance with the people, Nnamdi Kanu is a leader of the proscribed group but you took pride in identifying with the skunk and publicly showing pictures you took after having a surreptitious meeting with such a clot - an enemy of the government in place. Sowore has forgotten the ancient saying that 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend which is to say "the friend of my enemy is my enemy".

The fourth, just immediately after the said meeting, you started organizing the #RevolutionNow . You now channeled the energy and monie you ought to have expended on your campaign to illegal mission of taking over a legitimate government. Is Somore more wiser and intelligent than 180millions Nigerians?

And fifth, you started defacing public property before the kick off date of your #RevolutionNow. An action suggesting that there was probably going to be a bigger debilitating action on the set date. This portrays those who queue behind him as MUMU.

Sincerely, I would have wanted the DSS to wait a little further for him to do more damages before his arrest but they probably know better than I do as they are responsible for their in/actions.

Sowore has a bad attitude. He is certainly a megalomaniac and he doesn't want to accept that reality because his emotions and momentary senselessness overwhelm him as he enjoys the cheering audience full of nonentities.

I challenge the warmest advocate for good governance, to show, a single advantage that
this country can reap, from such an agenda-less #RevolutionNow.

Sowore needs an attitude readjustment otherwise, he would head down south.

To the effect that public figures like Reno and FFK are carrying the story everywhere?
This is the best post on this thread. Unlike the bigots who have allowed ignorance to blindfold their reason like their mentors FFK, and they allowed hatred towards fulani to attribute all crimes to them as the perpetrators.

The driver confirmed that the masked armed guys came ouut from the bush to attack on the highway and the ignorant Odumakin began to propagate the lies, misinforming the whole nation that it was fulani that killed the woman.

ODUMAKIN and FFK should be queried by the Police to give their account as witness to the fulani attack.

The daughter of one of the Afenifere leaders was reportedly killed by stray bullet along kajola/Ore road. Accoring to the account of the driver to the victim who was also escaped the scene, he never attributed the killing to the Fulani herdamen.

We allow hatred to Buhari and tribalism to blindfold our thinking faculty so that we arrogate all crime perpetration to the fulani herdsmen.

Many of us who ply the Benin/Ore/Ijebu Ode highway know quite well that armed robbers do operate along that axis. And most of these robbers are not fulani.

Though Mrs fasoranti was just unfortunate to had been hit by the robbers bullets. I am a living testimony to the dreadful manners in which armed robbers operate there.

There was a time my car fell into the trap along this axis, just about a kilometer to the police checking ppint, but unfortunately the police at the check point felt relunctant to even attempt intervening in the siege that day.

Those guys who perpetrate most of these attrocities may not be fulani but because we all hate Buhari, we tend to accusse the fulani.

Some Ibo and Yoruba boys do rob along that axis. Lets try to get the fact correct before inciting ethnic war.

What doesn’t make sense is the call for an ethnic war. Many of those shouting war songs may not be able to identify a Fulani man when they see one. And when we shout war, are we just going to start looking through our streets and forests for the next Fulani man to kill? Which civil war are we actually talking about?
