I really do not get why you seem so worked up over nothing. Kano city has over 4 million people and has slums as well as the concentrated ancient part of the city but yet has some areas like real city as seen on that picture.
is there any place in port harcourt that is better than those pictures you selected? Any flyover in ph?

Kano is an ancient city but yet looks more like a city to me than everything we have in Southeast and South-south except Port Harcourt. Take a look at the few tall buildings and their quality.
Ikwerre boy, I agree with you. Port Harcourt looks more like a city to me than Lagos, Abuja, New York and Paris. Ha!

There's nothing ratchet about what was described , she has a right to chose not to shake anyone she doesn't want to

when will this ratchet woman stop misbehaving herself in public. The same way she harrased obanikoro at the floor during his confirmation by the senate. These people should realize they are irrelevant beyond south west. Tinubu must call his wife to order before she is embarrassed and dealt with by the power brokers. nuff said.

Politics › Tinubu's Wfe Bitter As Saraki Swears In Lawan, Akume, Etc by FreeGlobe(op): 11:41am On Jun 10, 2015
Senators who stayed away from Tuesday’s inauguration of the national assembly have finally been sworn in by the new senate president, Bukola Saraki. There was drama when Remi, wife of Bola Tinubu, refused to shake hands with Saraki after her swearing-in on Wednesday morning, leaving his hand hanging and muttering some words to the senate president in a low tone.

Saraki had on Tuesday outwitted Tinubu-backed candidate, Ahmad Lawan, in the race for the nation’s No. 3 position. However, other newly sworn-in senators‎ shook hands with the senate president. They were all absent at the inauguration as the ruling party had called for an emergency meeting simultaneously and could not be sworn in as required by law before they could take their seats in the red chamber. Lawan, who was the preferred APC candidate, and George Akume, who was the preferred deputy, were both sworn in on Wednesday morning.

Twenty-six other senators-elect were also sworn in‎. Some of them include APC senators Abdullahi Adamu (Nasarawa) Bukar Abba Ibrahim (Yobe), Gbenga Ashafa (Lagos), Olusola Adeyeye (Osun), Isiaka Adeleke (Osun), and Shehu Sani (Kaduna). The senate thereafter went into a closed-session at 10:58 am. APC had, in a press statement on Tuesday evening, instructed the absentee senators to report for the traditional swearing-in.

Hon. Oseloka H. Obaze, (Secretary to the Government) separates from the services of Anambra State Government

Hon. Oseloka Henry Obaze, Secretary to the Government has separated from the services of the Anambra state government effective Monday, June 8, 2015.

In a statement, Hon. Obaze said this is in accordance with the understanding reached earlier with His Excellency, Chief (Dr) Willie Obiano, governor of Anambra state.

"This morning I attended my last State Executive Council meeting where I had the opportunity to formally thank Governor Willie Obiano, His Excellency, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke and my Executive Council colleagues and formally bid them goodbye. I thanked the Governor for his confidence and for the opportunity to serve in his administration. I have been witness to the selfless sacrifices by some who wish to see our state turned around. I salute them. I depart knowing that Anambra is set on the path to greatness", Hon. Obaze said.

Continuing, the SSG said it was an honour to serve as he had served with honesty, diligence, unalloyed loyalty and indeed, to the best of his abilities. He thanked the people of Anambra state for their graciousness, and his immediate staff for their uncommon support during his three years as the Secretary to the Anambra State Government.

"I will be returning to private life", Hon. Obaze concluded wishing all his colleagues and well wishers well.

Hon. Oseloka Henry Obaze will be succeeded by Prof. Solo Osita Chukwulobelu, former Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.

[s] I was even amazed at most people saying Kwarans are not yorubahuh I can't imagine kwara people reading this and they won't laugh at you guys. Back to the matter it is the the zoning of the political sphere that made kwara state to fall under North Central but ethnically and historically Kwara belong to the Yoruba lineage and nothing can never ever change that not even the geo-political zone. This is a fact, I have kwarans as colleagues, even as inlaws and I believe we all have kwara indigenes around us you just walk up to anyone of them I tell them they are not from Yoruba heritage lolzz! I bet you won't like the kind of reply they will give to you immediately just because they hate it when people disassociate them from Yoruba Kingdom. This is a fact just ask any kwarans around you and you will know how far lolzz![/s]
Thrash, kwara is traditionally ruled by an emir. Kwara is not in yorubaland. saraki presidency does not have any special benefits for yorubaland which is south west

Turning Saraki into a Yoruba is like turning you into a woman.

Our argument is about making you ibos realise that we Yorubas are way above you in Nigeria politics.
We want you to feel miserable.
Can ibos from the SE and SS ever occupy the no 2 and 3 positions respectively? Never!!!!!!!!

ibos have graduated from being deputy to aboki to being deputy to Yoruba. That's very commendable, I must say.
Today is a sad day for yorubas, tinubu has misled a whole tribe

uduokirika1:

Nwanne this is not an issue of Pete Obi or Ngige
it is a general issue, infact I will even blame Ngige the more for wetting our appetites on the new 'mirage' of stadium at Amansea. For 3 years he kept reminding us of this project through various govt sponsored jingles on radio and T.v yet nothing was on ground for its fruition. I still recall taking the risk on my Dad's motorcycle all the way from Nnewi to Amansea to see the level of the project. To my utter disappointment nothing I repeat NOTHING was in place not even a sign-post signifying a construction site.

I still believe had Ngige started that project Peter Obi definitely will have no excuse than to complete it just like he did to ALL of the roads Ngige quickly awarded when it became obvious he would be sacked by the Appeal Court and while Peter Obi was delivering the road he was telling everyone who cared to listen that those roads were his. Who cares!!

Note: Peter Obi never abandoned any project started by Ngige he completed them. The only project he abandoned was the moving of Anambra state University to Alor by Ngige!!!!!!!!!!

So like I said earlier all previous governors are all responsible for our lack of a standard football stadium!!!!!!!!!!!
on the bold, yes I agree but I get mad when some mischievous people try to brush aside Ngige's achievements just to praise peter obi as if he was the one that took the state out of the doldrums. For God's sake this was the man that met a failed state where teachers were on perpetual strike and schools locked out. Where there were no motorable roads in the state. This man Ngige started rebuilding the state from scratch and gave hope to the people that there is indeed money in Anambra.

Talking about sporting facilities, I think the idea was proposed shortly before he was sacked as governor but atleast preliminary works like where to site the stadium, land and others were already done. I'm also aware a world class golf course was awarded around that NNPC Mega Filling station site in in Awka. Assuming Ngige stayed on, these projects would have been completed by now, he even mentioned this projects during the governorship campaigns. So we should blame his successors who don't even think towards this area. I believe a state like Anambra needs a standard olympic stadium with standard swimming pools, tracks and other facilities in order to groom our talents.

Forget all the cost implications they are telling you. If ordinary universities in Nigeria could boast of decent stadiums with these facilities then I see no reason why a whole state cannot do better.

Amaechi is an ibo name while Saraki is a Yoruba name.

Tinubu/APC lost, NOT Yorubas!!

No 2 & 3 is very very okay!!
Osinbajo is holding a very strategic position! No story!!

Go and read my previous thread!!!
Rotimi is not an igbo name its yoruba just like saraki. Osinbajo is holding a very strategic position but could not summon ordinary saraki before he bacame senate president? Saraki dismissed him as mere commissioner . lol Just accept yoruba lost today thanks to thieefnubu
