Apart from owning the media, the APC are well known for hiring massive social media agents and I think this is beginning to take it's toll on the masses. I come online and I see most folks who before now praised the Jonathan administration beginning to call him a failure. The APC is trying so hard to sell Buhari to the South East and most igbo folks on nairaland seem not aware of this tendencies. Fact is Jonathan is the best president Nigeria has ever had and even if you want to give us an alternative, it doest have to be Buhari who has nothing fresh to offer neither does he have to be from the north.


On the issue of the poor situation of South East roads which I acknowledge, I blame our clueless governors and former governors like Peter obi and Theodore Orji, who despite claiming to be very close to the president failed to use the opportunity to be proactive in attracting federal presence to their states like Akpabio or Obiano is currently doing.

Buhari was once a president but never gave us intl airport, neither did he award ANY project in the South East while PTF money was used to construct roads in the north. When you say Jonathan failed, remember you are being a victim of media propaganda from APC.

As the senior special assistant to Mr. president rightly stated a Buhari/Amaechi ticket na real fatal error. For one:

Ndigbo will not vote Buhari because of his anti-igbo precedents and his pro-islamic tendencies. Ndigbo will not also vote Amaechi because of his Ikwerre tribe (refer to the abandon properties saga). Of course the ijaws and the extention the south south region will not vote Buhari at all. The south west votes will be split with Jonathan having an edge. The north will be shared 50/50 or so.

Buhari/Amaech ticket will be landslide for GEJ

As Buhari has been thrown in dilemma over the choice of running mate and since his most vocal supporters on nairaland are the yorubas, I want to know if these people will still support and vote Buhari if he picks a running mate from say south east or south south. Buhari won only in Osun state in 2011 with a yoruba running mate, what will likely be his fate in the south west if he doesn't pick a running mate from yorubaland. I smell hypocrisy here.

I have always asked myself why our roads are alway dusty and filled with sands but I have come to realize why its so. Before our roads can be rid of dirts we must have tarred all of Anambra roads and adjoining streets because thats where vehicles tracks the dirts from. This is simple;You can sweep and wash these roads all you want yet it wont take time before the dirts return.
Solution ;keep asphalting all the roads until there are few or no more dirt roads.And when this happens the sand dunes and dirt will disappear . We have a long way to go but we are on the right track.
