berem: He likes Igbos just because Igbos supported him in his victory in 2011. He's also incompetent because he has failed to redeem his pledge to the massive Igbos who supported him. Unfortunately,I don't see him doing all that he promised the people of the southeast. He hasn't done anything for his own people not to talk of other ethnic group. Its unfortunate our votes are wasted.
Berem speak for yorubas where you belong. This is a SE affair

agbameta: 1. This is about your crumbling and falling apart village bridge and not Lagos state or Fashola

2. Lagosians are not facing any imminent danger or about to fall off 3MB like your own people back in your village.

3. 3MB just got shot down and maintained unlike your crumbling village bridge.

4. We'll build our own bridge before begging anybody for 30 years like you beggars.

5. Are we begging anybody for 4thMB which groundwork is progressing as we speak? No

6. We did we beg the FG for 30 years for Ikoyi link bridge and the other ones Fashola built, no we did not

7. You are not saying anything because we know how to snatch FG infrastructures away from them and do our own upgrade and maintenance unlike you 30 years begging people.

8. We snatched Ikorodu road and it's undergoing reconstruction and upgrade as we speak.

9. We snatched Badagry EXPRESS and it's set to be the best road in Nigeria @ 10 lanes with metro rail and BRT access, something your generation including the next 10 generations can not duplicate.

You can huff and puff as much as you want, but the joke is still on you because you still don't have a little bridge even after 30 years of begging, Your people are the ones in danger and not Lagosians.
So why didnt you snatch Lagos/Ibadan expressway? Thousands of Lagosians are dying in the Lagos Ibadan expressway, No death has been recorded on Niger bridge yet. Why can't Fashola invest a little of his over 800 billion naira loan to fix that road or even partner with Ibadan governor instead of this crying to Jonathan everyday for neglecting the SW. smh.

There is a governor in Anambra who is Jonathans messenger and frequents Aso rock atleast twice a week. we should be asking what his relationship with the president has benefited the state. Jonathans action in Anambra elections really pissed me off.

kel4soft: The Niger Bridge, is it more than 2km? The bridges I stated here comebine is more than 15km in lenghth and most of them lies in swampy areas covering 42km ( Andon-Opobo axis plus sand filling 30km) Including Okrika. Is more than the budget of your Niger Bridge.

Enough said.
indeed. The bridge covers 12.4KM
http://sunnewsonline.com/new/cover/second-niger-bridge-jubilation-in-south-east-as-julius-berger-moves-to-site/

This is not just your everyday bridge, This bridge takes more traffic than all SS bridges combined so stick your ignorance back to PH.
Politics › Re: “Niger Bridge May Collapse Sooner Than Envisaged” by FreeGlobe(f): 9:05pm On Dec 13, 2013
agbameta: In fact, we want them to hand it over for proper care and maintenance just like we snatched Ikorodu road way from their incompetent hands, Badagry express is another good example. We don't sit around and cry and beg like destitutes for handouts.

Saying you are not going to lift a finger even if your own people perish on that bridge says alot about you people and your inhumane and anti social ways...
There are many FG projects rotting under the care of Lagos State govt. why not rescue these massive projects first from rot before talking about 3MB. The 3MB is fast decaying and Fashola uses that road everyday. smh
Politics › Re: “Niger Bridge May Collapse Sooner Than Envisaged” by FreeGlobe(f): 8:52pm On Dec 13, 2013
why are our SW neighbors taking medicine for our own headache cheesy cheesy Mischievous lots. The FG must construct that 2NB, its our right. The FG has not even invested 1% in the SE of what they invested in SW. We are talking 2NB here not some lame Fashola bridge. 3MB is currently in bad shape, I dare Fashola to step in and do the needful on that bridge.
Politics › Re: “Niger Bridge May Collapse Sooner Than Envisaged” by FreeGlobe(f): 8:46pm On Dec 13, 2013
kel4soft: Amaechi is underrated to be frank. A man that built 10 bridges with three to go. on the ongoing Ogoni-Andon-Unity Road with 800ms as average of their lengths.

Okrika ring road = 2 bridges
Bolo = 2 bridges
Flyovers = 4 flyovers in Port Harcourt
Ndoni = Steel bridge (600m)
Another completed bridge at Woji-Odili (400m) Road in PH
while the one crossing Akpajo (500m) is still going on.

And at at least a culvert in most dualised roads.

He is really underrated.

Presently, 3 bridges are been constructed by RCC in the ongoing Garrison-TransAmadi-Woji-EastWest Road dualisation.

And they want to remove him.

God forbid.
we are talking the great River Niger bridge here not mushroom bridges built by Amaechi.

You Amaechi hirelings are bunch of clowns. Yes Amaechi will be impeached and absolutely NOTHING will happen. When Amaechi was suspending Local Govt Chiarmen unconstitutionally and closing campaign offices of opponents and other unconstitutional practices, you fools kept mute. clowns!

superstar1: Raymond Njoku off Awolowo road, ikoyi. So, because Bourdillon road or keffi exist in lagos, that makes them British and Hausas land.

Your low IQ is without mincing world world class.
But you will never find Awolowo rd in the entire SE (Tufiakwa), or kehinde street, olaitan, etc just any Yoruba bearing name unlike for igbo bearing streets and roads in SW
Politics › Re: The IGR Debate - Reloaded! by FreeGlobe(f): 1:48pm On Dec 13, 2013
ichidodo: But why do you have Lagos streets with igbo names example Raymond Njoku, search hardest
Man you have really decimated the Yoruba nation on this thread, I'm forced to pity them grin grin grin

Abagworo: I pray the devil that leads Jonathan does not allow him try this as it will be the beginning of the end of peace in Rivers State. Jonathan will be removed by few lawmakers as well and war starts.
shattap, Amaechi will be impeached and nothing will happen

Ayekotoo: An average yoruba is contended with whatever he or she got. They leave within their means. very rare to see yoruba girls into prostitution, they will rather be apprentice. They are called virtuous ladies.
Nice try. Go to yoruba movie industry and see Yoruba ladies in full action. From prostitution to husband snatching to fetishes. etc

superstar1: Lol.

Asa and Femi Kuti are not known and they are being invited for international concerts, nit african organised concerts. Another diarrhoeic incantation from omo y1bo.

you said she is not a singer and she will win grammy. Na wa for you and your reasoning faculty.
Nonsense, you call yoruba reunion gatherings abroad concerts? Am talking Beyonce here man. And yes, Barack Obama is a Grammy Award winner. All it takes is to feature on a Grammy winning album

superstar1: See the difference. Beyonce featured Miss ''my-uncle-told-me'' writer and Asa and Femi Kuti are being celebrated world wide and nominated for grammys.

Mediocrity is your middle name.
Ngozi Adichie is not even a musician, I hope you understand that. She is celebrated in her field the reason Beyonce saw and acknowledged her. Beyonce does not know Asa or Femi Kuti, her fellow musicians.
Guess what she used all her igbo names on the album which will be sold worldwide. The album will definitely win a Grammy making Ngozi Adichie Nigeria's first Grammy winner. Igbos are not your match boy. you can only hate. grin grin
Politics › Re: The IGR Debate - Reloaded! by FreeGlobe(f): 10:46am On Dec 13, 2013
Igbos just broke another feat. Beyonce's new album feature Nigerias greatest female writer of all time Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Haters eat your heart out. lol

If you are a serious student, come to SW or consult google.
I have searched but have not found any but with the IGR posted on this thread for these states I'm curious as to their source of income that's why I ask the op and concerned nairalanders to help list 10 manufacturing companies in oyo, oshun and ekiti collectively
There are certain things that the world say is good but which to us is not.

What is the benefit of mcdonalds or walmart to us? These corporations will kill business for the petty trader that sell akara and moinmoin on the corner.

Development and growth is good but when we grow we should do so by growing our people and grassroot. If akara and moinmoin sellers are put out of business the community is impacted.

We have been buildin cities and civilizations before you learnt to cover your na-ke-dn-ess. You are no match for us industrially.
Oh no there is no benefit of Walmart and McDonald's to you but you and your kinsmen here are celebrating shoprite and kfc. You people are just ridiculous! care to tell us the cities that were built and civilized by yorubas. The last time I toured yorubaland it was as if I took a trip to the year 1913
Politics › Re: The IGR Debate - Reloaded! by FreeGlobe(f): 9:50am On Dec 13, 2013
I will appreciate if any of you can suspend this back and forth and mention 10 manufacturing/companies/industries/corporations in Ekiti, Oyo and Oshun states collectively. I'm using it for research. cheesy cheesy
Politics › Re: The IGR Debate - Reloaded! by FreeGlobe(f): 9:44am On Dec 13, 2013
superstar1: go to oluyole estate and do excursion and go to the commercial farms in osun and learn.

The whole of SE has only one shoprite in Enugu and the same shoprite is about completing their second mall in Ibadan, with Ado Ekiti almost completed and the site for osogbo is already being cleared.

We don't do backyard factories with 10-15 dirty looking boys that ought to be in school.
Apart from indian hemp manufacturing factory in Ekiti, I dare you or any Yoruba to mention 10 manufacturing companies/industries/corporations in Ekiti, Oyo and Oshun states. Miss me with your complex, why only shoprite, what of Walmart, bestbuy, McDonalds etc. Why haven't they flocked to SW then?
Politics › Re: The IGR Debate - Reloaded! by FreeGlobe(f): 9:08am On Dec 13, 2013
LMAOOO. SHOPRITE IBADAN! HAHA
http://encomium.ng/ibadan-shoprite-update-management-denies-low-patronage/

While cite shoprite in poverty ravaged Ibadan when all they need is almajiri restaurants. smh
Politics › Re: The IGR Debate - Reloaded! by FreeGlobe(f): 9:02am On Dec 13, 2013
geeez: Low taxes should be an incentive for industries which the SE lacks

More and more corporations are opening in Ogun, Oyo and Osun further driving the IGRs in those states

Abeg one question before I forget

How come Enugu and the whole of the SE have only one Shoprite outlet more than two years after it was opened and Ibadan already has two less than six months after one was opened?

I also wanna know why KFC hasn't opened any outlet in the SE despite opening one, two, three in Ibadan

Is it that S'Easterners don't eat chickens and can't shop or the poverty rate is so high that people can't afford to sustain these businesses? I believe the latter is true.

Why also does Slot, owned by an Igbo man have branches all over Yorubaland, including Akure, Oshogbo, Ilorin, Sango Ota, Ife and 'poor' Ado-Ekiti with only one in the SE which is in Enugu? Of course he knows his kinsmen can't afford most of the phones he sells.
You folks are clowns, please list 5 industries/corporations in oyo and oshun. I'm waiting. what is Slot in the SE when there are a million other and better Slot alternatives in SE. I bet Slot buys its wares from Emeka Offor plaza in onitsha. You folks are clowns. Are you talking this same shoprite in Ibadan?
http://lindaikeji..com/2013/07/low-patronage-hits-newly-opened-ibadan.html

so we are clear.

django1: Don't over blow your own ego over the cashless policy, it was just a form of zoning.

Two best performing states in southwest, two in the north and two in the south east. That was just the idea, I'm not sure you're bright enough to understand that.
Zoning really? Tell us the form of zoning then that was used. The north is now a single zone against SW and SE. what of SS? I would have ignored you but I get irritated when most SWesterners pride in ignorance and deceit. I bet the cashless policy is of no relevance in ogun,
Politics › Re: The IGR Debate - Reloaded! by FreeGlobe(f): 8:12am On Dec 13, 2013
geeez: How does this your ranting change the fact that Ogun's IGR is more than double Abia's which is the highest in the SE?

How does it change the fact that Osun has a higher IGR than Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra and Imo?

How does it change the fact that Ekiti has a higher IGR than Enugu?

why did cbn ignore osun in their cashless policy if its an important state. Even ogun state was slotted in at last minute to complement SE 2 states
