Politics › Re: No Ethnically Homogenous City In Nigeria Has Ever Prospered by FreeGlobe(f): 1:25pm On Nov 13, 2012
afam4eva: You're right about the latter part of your post but your first sentence is not totally correct because there are some very few livable parts of Lagos. Thoug most people don't come to Lagos because it's livable but because they wanna make money.

@OP
It's also not right that the diversity in Lagos, Abuja and PH developed the city. These cities were already made by the government before people started troopoing there in their millions.
yes there are few liveable parts in Lagos but it doesnt make lagos liveable because you will have to face the madness of the city when you come out from your VI etc to go to work, the traffic, the dirtiness and disorganization in ipaja for instance, etc. Nobody stays immobile in lagos or anywhere, you will have to move around for one thing or the other. Thats how a city is judged as liveable.

baysol: Onye Igbo why una they shake na? Every region need to determine their state of affairs and who they want to partner with. You guys must leave south west, the equation with onye igbo is not going to balance never. So make una go una biafra. sebi una don declra on November 5 oya make una tefi na. We lost the best man that would have ruled Nigeria because of you guys so, make una go una Biafra no one go fight with una.

op must be smokung when he said Lagos and ph have liveability advantage. those places are only good for making money. And I disagree with the op, its about availaible infrastructure and job opportunities not ethnic mixtures. The federal govt developed lagos and abuja not the ethnicities, oil companies developed ph not the ethnic mixtures of the society. Development occuted before the migrations and not the other way round.

ndigbo have spoken in several threads who are you playing psychological games with?

I implore the mods to lock this thread.

Eze Promoe: Who is the crowd? Is it you, donchris, advocate666 and freeglobe with some few others? Because as far as i'm concerned you don't speak for me as for many other Igbos on this forum. The way you guys are talking makes me suspect that you have grudges against the Ezenwanyi but it is now too late to display it. Please please please please wait for another election date before you raise this issue. Thanks.
stop mentioning me fool, I dont even know the ogugua character, I dont care about her person, you iddiiots have not yet explained why okija juju was disqualified but ogugua was given a pass for the same issues, where did the law that disqualified okija come from, who formulated it? you keep finding ways to cut corners, if you say few of us are only agitating for her removal, you must be either retarddded, blind or hypocritical. 9ja_I_hail formally brought up this issue but emperor pointb may have swayed him to his side.
I maintain thaT both ogugua and pointb must step down, if this election must work or else they will be leading their cabals. You people should withdraw igbo from this sham.

I was just browsing through my followed topics. Here is what I found. I recall somebody asked pointb during the election why he was holding the election this early and he brushed it off. This is what it is, pointb has used igbo people to play politics and feed his ego. The guy is a fraud! Huge waste of time but I still support odumchi as eze though

remark D: Erhm, (was gonn' say this way back
when, but got pretty occupied real
quick, but) but good to see you
noticed it too, you're a sharp girl (i
guess); Master Jarus just played
politics there by using/playing his
"mod.-card" ..... Check it:
Jarus launched a thread which was to
be the premier of the monthly politics
section debates. And so, of course, he
neeeded traffic in order to get people
to nominate judges and debaters.
Point B wanted to be part of the
judges, but didnt make it. He believes
Jarus could easily have made it
happen if he wanted (but Kooger was
whom Jarus still kept as a judge in
spite of his recklessness on the
thread).
Feeling rejected, Point B (pretty much
the same day, depending which part
of the world you're in, or almost
immediately), launched a thread in
the politics section for this years Eze
Nairaland to get things rolling.

Of course Jarus saw this as
competition, and although he came to
the thread to announce his presence
and support, he did not move it to FP.
(i didnt see it, but i guess) the politics
debate nomination and topic thread
made it to home page. someone
correct me if i am wrong.
and only after it was over (again
correct me) did the eze nairaland
thread get to home page.
that is power and politics of the mods!
Cheers.
Odunnu, i nwere enyi nwoke?
shocked shocked shocked

Jarus replys
Jarus: You must have had A in history 101.
Shame!

PointB: 9ja_I_hail spoke my mind on Ogugua's issue. Some of us who call for her impeachment or removal are yet to come to terms with the fact that we currently don't have procedure for that. And we can't pluck one from the skies to use. Besides, there are argument here and there that's having an 'opinion' is undeniable right of an individual. I subscribe to that. I also subscribe to the fact that opinion no matter how balance you want it to appear should be such that it does not alienate you from those you seek to lead. This much has been said publicly and privately.

smfh, at this display of shameful hypocrisy, double standards. can you now officially apologize to okija juju, or tell us why someone as guilty as okija is given a soft landing and okija is not, all by you. The jokes on you.

how can a thread be this hidden and still make homepage. smh.
As far as I can say, Yoruba is only spoken in thr republic of benin, the person that said Yoruba is spoken by 3 non african countries is an idddiot. I dont want to talk about oduduwa before my comment is hidden too. grin

KINGwax: i'm hoping to be a writer some day. But most of my works are in third-person form. Once i met a professor, he laughed at me and said, 'you're one cheap lazy writer who modifies his personal experience into fictional books. Though good, but you're far from it'.
Animalchebe is one cheap lucky writer and can't be compared with soyinka who deeply utilizes his brain in creating characters and writing a whole story with it. He gives a character his own uniqueness out of the intelligence of his thinking and may create up to a million characters with different behaviors. Such is shakespare or james h. chase.
Animalchebe is not only a narcissist, i'm thinkin he's more like a temerity-wishful haggard! What he can't actually get himself to do in real life, he imagines them
LMAOOOO at the bolded. You are an aspiring writer and hating on Achebe. Your career is dead on arrival, you will never go far. you will never even in your entire writting career reach the level Achebe was at, before he published his fitst book. iddddddiot!

Dede1: I guess you have proved what I expected of you from the previous silly posts. Why did you not all these while inform Ogugua88 that kidnapping is not Igbo thing but human beings manifestation? I am sorry to say you are bloody nitwit. We kept saying that kidnapping is human and you kept shouting that Igbo should accept the truth because your darling Ogugua88 said kidnapping is Igbo, olodo.

phreakabit: I couldn't care less if this self hating, hairy, ninja turtle teethed, uni-browed fugly thing was elected YOUR Eze Nwanyi. Neither she nor the "Eze Ndigbo nairaland" have anything on me or what I say. . . So their positions are absolutely IRRELEVANT!
hahahahahaha, nwanne biko nwanyo. The girl is irrelevant just like the Eze Nwanyi position but odumchi was embraced by igbos here, he has a very credible igbo antecedent here on this forum and also has some good head above his shoulders, trust me, you wont have any problem with him. he is a proud igbo son.

achukwunet: Igbos are kidnapping other igbos that's the truth. There's nonsensical about it. If you sit there on your computer and deny this to yourself then there must be something wrong with you
so kidnapping was invented by igbos, there is nothing wrong with you genuinely saying igbos are kidnapping fellow igbos, it is part of a societial rot that no tribe in the world is free from. kidnappings is all about making money illegally, the same as robbery, yahoo yahoo, less gravy than looting, embezzlement, rituals, boko haram etc which are all part of the Nigerian society across every tribe, but when someone is saying it with sinister motives, to garner cheap praises from the yaroba folks here who always have a hard on whenever igbo stories are posted, or to bash igbos, or out of ignorance, anf when someone is hypocritical like the ogugua is accused of, then problem arises. can you tell me any part of the world where their is no crime, with your little brain.
