Religion / Re: Why Did The Vatican Remove 14 Books From The Bible In 1684? by Freeman147(m): 6:31pm On Mar 26, 2017 |
Ubenedictus: @ haha, nice insight... Let's not be too agnostic about the existence of Jesus of Nazareth, (It may interest you to cross reference H.G. Wells Classic, A Short History of The World, 1922), that Jesus was neither Caucasian, Blonde, Blue Eyed, Tall, nor Handsome, he was Black Eyed, had Jet Black-Bald Hairline, had a Hump, and walked with a Staff, because of his Hump et al.,. Of course his life has historic mention, even though most, if not all his activities were exaggerated to suit European Imperial Interest. Gun Boat diplomacy, employed by Elizabeth I (1533-1603) the so called 'Virgin Queen', using the 'bible and the sword' to 'pacify' locals all over the World, from Ireland to India, New Indies(Americas) to the Scramble for Africa(Berlin Conference) in 1884 by Otto Van Bismarck, to tectonically (with German efficiency) organize there 'Lucrative Heist' and 'Imperial Rape' of Afrika. Her half Brother(Heir Apparent) from Henry VIII, King James I, only made the scheme better by compiling the various scrolls and tracts in 1611, after his coronation to initiate the King James Version (KJV). Were early 'Christians'(followers) not termed Terrorist? What was Paul(Saul)'s citation pre conversation? Wasn't he a prosecutor? Or a turn-coat? One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. 'Afrika must wake up' ... Peace! |
Religion / Re: Wetin We No Go See For NAIJA!!!!!! by Freeman147(m): 4:59pm On Mar 26, 2017 |
luvmijeje: But, we know the catholic church(othordox denominations) do not frown on consumption of alcoholic beverages, so far its in moderation. Just like churches in Europe hold prayer meetings with beer as refreshments. Don't also forget that some Nations in Northern Europe have little fresh water supply/sources, hence they substitute with spirits like Vodka which is functional and logical, as such water would be very cold at room temperature, and spirits also have a warm(hot) effect on the body. Summary: Moderation is key, let Afrikans not cry more than the bereaved, because the Caucasians that introduced this Religious Dogmas have reasoned beyond all this shenanigans. Afrika must wake up! 1 Like 1 Share |

Solidkay: Afrika must wake up from this colonial mentality, Roman Catholics came in to Lagos in the 19th century, Kola, spirits, and percussionist drums and dances with chants have always been part and parcel of the Afrikan Liturgy. All this "imported" religious beliefs have their benefit, but let's not be afraid to be Afrikans, or Hybris like CCC, C&S, or ROF. |

Tazdroid: @Tazdroid obviously you are not literary. And since you have appointed yourself as the most reasonable of people. Take out time to check/search the root origin of the phrase " Only fools die". Moreover, when critiques are done(Literally), you do not separate the pre-text from the contexts of the statement or sentence. Possibly, you where in a haste to 'react' and comment/quote opinions on NL, that you have failed to think about the statement before acting. I hope you are not a millennial here or this unfawn teens quick to babyism? WHAT was said was "Only fools die, let the dead sleep, RIP to the dead".... Now, how does that personal Opinion which I am entitled to not sound reasonable to you? Grow up, before you sit with MEN. |

Education / Re: Do You Know The New Phase Of Cultism In Nigeria Today? by Freeman147(m): 5:53pm On Mar 19, 2017 |
mrnwas: @Mr Pinner. You are entitled to your opinion, but I dare say the topic you chose may be off point(according to what you wrote) Fratanity should be separated from Confrantanity, as the latter is what you alluded to majorly in your post. Confrantanities have always existed in pre-'Nigerian' Nation-States and precolonial empires. This also included Aboriginal Confrantanities like the Ogboni which was recorded by Prof Uli Bier and Suzanne Wenger(Aduni Or is a) during their Academic studies of African Sociology and Arts. They in fact had to be initiated before being allowed access to some of their esoteric knowledge and history! This was at least decades before the formation of the first campus fratanity in Ibadan. Fratanities also exist in developed countries, as employers require this frat graduate state on their resume/CV the fratanity they belong to. The only difference is that they are more cerebral in activisim, and not "SECRETIVE". Thus, begging the Question, Should Nigerian Campus Fratanities be More Open Legal? Or less Secretive? Criminals that engage in kidnapping/human trafficking should be separately treated from the aforementioned cadre of Societies. Whether their goal is to dismember victims for " Blood Money " or cannibal fetishist ends, because some of the "RITUALS" performed by the Aforementioned Societies do not require any Human Sacrifices as its method of Attonment.(NB- BLOOD MONEY RITUALIST may(and mostly) be cultist, as their modus operandi dictates. 3 Likes |

Its a big shame and an eyesore, look how unattractive the terminal hall looks! No aesthetics, the facade looks blame man. Something has to be done about its aesthetics. Biggest BLACK Nation with this low grade facility. Check out Ghana's terminal and all our past ministers supretending the MDA in charge should be ashamed. We need a Renaissance. |
