A desperate young Nigerian man who in a quest to travel
abroad by fire all means, has ended his life tragically. His
reaction for his horrific action is quite shocking.

According to a Facebook user, Odozor Chimamanda Flora
who posted the photo on a popular social media platform, a young man has committed suicide over his parent's refusal to sell their family land to enable him travel abroad.
Below is how the eyewitness shared the story on social
media;

Self acclaimed Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya has two
lovely daughters from his baby mama, Barbara.
He has, in a new interview with Punch, revealed he didn't
promise her marriage because it wasn't on his to-do list yet
but that he assured her he wasn’t going to have kids from
different women.

Timaya said: I am not getting married soon. My life is a journey. My career is my journey. I didn’t lie to my baby mama when she was pregnant; I told her I wasn’t ready to get married. I never said I wasn’t going to get married. But at the moment, I am not ready. When she told me she was pregnant, I accepted the pregnancy.

She told me she hoped I wasn’t going to be like other musicians who had kids from different women. I told her no. My two kids are from same woman. I know what I am doing.”

Gushing about his kids, Timaya added:
I never knew I could love anyone the way I love my
daughters. My first daughter is my best friend. I didn’t know
what I wanted when I had her. But I knew I wanted to
rebrand. So I had to take off the dreadlock.”

“My dreadlock was a strategy. I wanted people to see me as
a rude boy. I couldn’t have been giving all those trouble with a calm and clean face. I wanted a look that would associate
with it. Now, people come to me and I smile.
“I was happy I was controversial and I was being talked about.

I used to struggle to be known before then and I desperately wanted to be known. Finally, they started talking about me.
People felt I was troublesome. Some felt I was controversial.

Even those who didn’t know my music knew my name. When I had got what I wanted, I felt it was time for me to rebrand.”

admitted into the Roll of Advocates at the Supreme Court of
Kenya today. The curvaceous model was admitted
alongside 124 lawyers. The excited Corazon took to her IG
to post a series of photos in her lawyer’s gown and wig.

The mother to former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke, Lora
Okeke, has alleged that her daughter was under a negative
influence when she performed the sexual act contained in a video that has now gone viral. Mrs Okeke quoted the former beauty queen as making the claim during an interview with New Telegraph.


According to Chidinma’s mother, “As a mother, watching
the video broke my heart, but I have stopped crying and
committed everything to the hands of God who always fight my battle. “When I spoke with my daughter, I asked her
what led her into such an unholy act despite the fact that I
brought her up in a Godly way.

Okeke quoted her daughter as saying, “Mummy even if I did it, I didn’t know when it was done honestly, I’m surprised and confused. I don’t know what happened mummy” On Chidinma’s participation in the pageantry, Okeke stated, “Chidimma came home to say she was going to take part in Miss Anambra Pageant and I discouraged her; I told her to use her beauty for God. She went back to school and returned later to say she has been selected among the final contestants.


I can never support my child going to take part in any
beauty pageant because we are a Christian family and don’t have liking for such things. Chidimma went into the pageant without our knowledge but she is a little girl and we cannot abandon her; she remains my little baby and the baby of the house. When she won, it was her sister that called to tell us. She is my last child and came seven years after my sixth child.


“Chidimma was simply a pawn in the hands of both the
organizers of Miss Anambra and her former manager, hence things went awry when she decided to free herself from the bondage.


“The entire controversy affected my daughter because
when I went to see her, she had emaciated so much and not looking after herself at all, when I asked her why her hair was so unkempt, she said, ‘Mummy leave that hair alone, that’s not my worry.

“My prayer is that they should not kill my daughter.”

According to Essien Ndueso, the Special Assistant to the
Akwa-Ibom state Governor on Media, an Akwa-Ibom man
opted to "swim to the great beyond' in a fish shaped casket.


Could it be that the man loved eating fish, or he was a
fisherman or came from the great 'Iyak' family?


I witnessed this scene on Nwaniba road this morning
around St Luke's Hospital.


Note, i didnt say the man turned into a fish o, i only saw a
fishlike casket.. perhaps my friend Uwemedimoh Umanah
who owns a fish farm and also loves fisherman soup can
explain this better why a man would choose to swim to
eternal glory.

The US president-elect, Donald Trump, has
snubbed President Muhammadu Buhari by
calling 10 leaders of other countries within 24
hours of his victory without putting a call to
Nigeria.


Trump also sparked suggestions that he
may side-line the United Kingdom in his
policies after he called 9 world leaders
before extending a call to the British Prime
Minister Theresa May.


The decision to call the prime minister of
