There are some of us who complain very bitterly when things go wrong and would want to tell God how important we are. What we often forget is that it is God’s grace that we are still alive. Has it ever occurred to you that God has been fighting for you even when you do not know it?

Listen to what God told Prophet Elijah when he was complaining about how he alone was serving Him (God). “Yet I will leave Myself 7,000 in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him. 1 Kings 19:18.” When we think that we are the only ones that are doing God’s work, let us remember that there are many doing it without being noticed by man but God alone.

The question that I want to ask us today is this; “CAN YOU BE COUNTED AS ONE OF GOD’S RESERVE OR TOOLS NOT KNOWN TO MAN?” God wants us to serve Him in Spirit and in truth. This is why Jesus said this; John 4:23-24; "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
What is it that you are passing through as a child of God? Do you think that God is not aware? I am a firm believer that God uses us to demonstrate His love. It may not be how we want certain things but at last, it will be well. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you. Isaiah 43:2.”

You will never be left alone so do not allow the enemy to tell you that God is not with you. Matthew 28:19-20; 19. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20. Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).
God will never forsake His own children, so glory in Him at all times. “Jeremiah 9:24 But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character], that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord. Read 2 Corinthians 10:17 also.

If we know who we are before God, we will never complain because He is there to bring us to our expected end. Jeremiah 29:11. Finally, let us know this; “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28).”

ARE YOU THERE YET?

At the beginning of this year, some of us set some goals/dreams or made plans expecting God to see us through. Some of us may have realized our goals/dreams while some of us are yet to actualize ours.
No matter which group that you fall into, as we are entering the last quarter of the year, we need to revisit those goals/dreams. It is not over yet until God says so. The Word of the Lord declares this;
”If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).”
I want you all to join me and pray for those that have not had their dreams met while you help give thanks to God for answering some of my friends. This is why you need to join me as a friend;
”And when the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves, so I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and My wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak (2 Chronicles 12:7)”.
Let us seek the face of the Lord so that His wrath may not come upon us but that His mercy may be our possession.

HOW DO YOU FIGHT AN UNFAIR BATTLE?

We all are in constant battle with Satan and his demons. The fight is so unfair because Satan understands you very well. He attacks you where you are very weak as he and his agents did to Job. Because brother Job feared so much about the well being of his children. He was constantly having the thought that they might have offended God while they were having some party. He would offer sacrifice on their behalf to appease God. Job (1:5)
How did Satan and his agent attack him? They took all he had including all his children at the same day. Job 3:25-26; 25. What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true. 26. I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes (NLT). Did job know about the plan? No. Was it a fair thing on Satan’s part? No. This is how he operates and what he is known for.
Let us face it, we all have issues that are not in the open but Satan knows about them. He will use them against you when he has to. You will not be the first and you will not be the last. This was why Apostle Paul wrote this; “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure (1 Corinthians 10: 13 (NLT)).” This will continue as long as the King is yet to come. Can you face this alone on your own?

There is yet another Person who knows your weakness and all of these issues that are in the closet. He is the only one that can guide you in this fight as long as your faith does not fail. He is called Jesus Christ. He so knows you so well that He can tell you your future, past and help you navigate the crocked plans of your enemy.

Listen to what He told one of His disciples called Peter; Luke 22:31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat.” He told Peter before hand what Satan had planned even when He knew that this same Peter would deny ever knowing Him.

There is hope for you if and only if you hold on. I said there is hope if you hold on. Fix your hope on Jesus no matter how bad the situation may be. Listen to an over comer; “Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” Yes Job knows that he is not able to figure out what is going on but one thing that he knew was to trust God.

Unlike Job, we do have a better chance if our faith does not fail. “Luke 22:32 But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.” You will over come if you do not give up hope. It is settled and the rest is up to you. Give up hope and lose everything or hold on and help others to over come. It is an unfair battle so let us stay behind the Man that has the shield of protection so that the bullets from the enemy may not hit us.

Remember to strengthen others when you have over come all odds. Your testimony is worth more than anything that money can buy. God bless you and may we not faint in Jesus’ name.

LIFE OF A CHRISTIAN AS EXPECTED BY GOD

As a Christian recognized by God, certain things will have to be in place other than going to church for fellowship. These things determine how God treats your case when a request is put up before Him. It does not mean that an unbeliever can not be successful in life but the question is whether his or her success is good or bad (Joshua 1:.

The first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. In John 3:3, 5 & 30 the bible tells us what we must do to inherit God’s kingdom. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus bacons on us to come and receive rest because that is the reason He came from above (John 10:10).

Having said all these, there are a lot of things that a real Christ must know and do.

1. HOW FAITH IN GOD WORKS
Faith will not work when unforgiving spirit exists. We as Christians must learn to forgive others so that our grudge(s) may not hinder us (Mark 11:21-26). 25. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. 26. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.
2. CLEANSING OFONE’S SELF.

We do have to cleanse ourselves daily because we may not know what we did or said that can contaminate us. 1 Peter 1:15 But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living. Read 2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 John 1:9

3. BEING IN HARMONY.

As Christians, the bible commands us to be in harmony at all times with others. But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments (1 Corinthians 1:10). Read Corinthians3:2-3; Ephesians 5:17-35.

4. AGREEING WITH OTHER BELEIVERS BRINGS CHRIST CLOSE TO YOU

It is very important for us to know the value that Christ has placed on agreeing and being of one mind. In the book of Matthew 18:18-20, He stressed on this matter
