I've got to be dispassionate about this issue and share lessons I've learnt through such issue as this.

First, love is just an abstract. It's expression has to be physical which is only aided through resources (time andtides, money). * You need money to sustain a relationship, not just love, wisdom. Would you want to marry a nagging wife because you can't meet her financial needs? Will you want your kids to suffer growing up? Secondly, from experience, most first instances of first live, doesn't always end at the altar. Don't kill yourself over this, it's nothing new. But, if she's yours, you'll have she anytime. Work and Pray!

Next, you don't have to kill yourself over any woman. There are countless of valuable women out there. Simply pick your lessons off this and move on.

Add value to yourself, divert your crying energy into huge motivation and productive, money making activities. You'll be fine.

My lady of about 2 years is at a crossroad; to go or not to.

Here's the detail...She needs to go for a professional training but her parents aren't financially capable. So, she's been acting funny and after much wahala and talk, she asked me if I will sponsor her through the programme(Almost 2 years, registration is about 200k). Well, I told her I will be willing to support but not taking the full responsibility as she's not my responsibility at the moment until after marriage.

Interestingly, she told me that she has an offer from a man who wants to give her the money but on the condition that she will have to marry him now or later. When she told me this, I didn't overract. I simply asked her if she thought about it and what she wants to do now. Jeez! She got angered again that I shouldn't have reacted that way, rather I should have said no and I told her I will support her with xx amount...I laughed in my mind, thinking, na me this girl dey test.

Anyway, the matter now is she's offering me the option of paying the fees and marrying her (that's if the future will be what we envisage) or letting her go with the man who's ready to pay and marry her.

What do you guys think?

I think the costings are fair. My advise: get more involved with the farm and the location. Sometimes, some costs are location specific.

I've observed it, told her and she confirmed it.

She even said left to her she's cool with what she's seen thus far, however, her mum feels otherwise, hence, she wants to dig deeper saying, she wouldn't want me to come disgrace myself and also mock her parents when the time comes.

For me such thought from her parents (mum) could be hard to get off her own mind actually. She's the only child, the bond with her mum is premium. I bet it'll mean I'll have to do so much to please her mum, not even daughter or myself or our relationship. It's quite a dicey affair for a young blood like me.

My other worry is that the family isn't even well to do with (schooling an only child is a bit of a burden for them), yet the mama is giving specifications of a choice man for her.

I've told her that in the long run she'llbe the one to live her life and take responsibilities for what she makes out of it all.

As with the regular Igbo culture, I presume they'll get her an old old man with loads of money to marry. That way she and her mama can have all the money they want, whilst sacrificing the girl's happiness.

She I cannot go and borrow money and put in the account just to impress her.

Anyway, she studied nursing at Bsc level in a neighbouring country. So, she's done with school, but needs to Nigerian Nursing school to be certified to practice in Nigeria, hence, this whole drama on my head.

I'm currently in a serious relationship with a lady (so I thought), until she started telling me she's still single and wants to mingle.
