Yes of course my first degree should be a better qualifications however I have not practiced but I don't think that would be a problem

budaatum:
If there is, would you qualify to be hired?

Remember you "didn't think practicing that was interesting to me".

Is there position for Water Resources Engineer in Nigeria?

budaatum:
That is not what I said!

Please read the post again to understand what I wrote, or ask questions so it can be explained to you!
PoliticsRe: Are We Ready Yet? by Freeze007(m): 9:50am On Jul 06
You said it all, opportunities are not here in Nigeria but abroad, perhaps I can rexonsider if I have the opportunity to work abroad exactly what I noted first

budaatum:
Really!?

A friend of mine drove a friend to Liverpool this morning to go buy an Audi TT. His friend is a digital security expert for a water resource company. We both laughed sadly that Nigeria does not even have pipes not to take of securing it with technology.

It's like you don't like the opportunities available to you!
PoliticsRe: Are We Ready Yet? by Freeze007(m): 2:38pm On Jul 04
Although I am graduate with honors in Water Resources Engineering I didn't think practicing that was interesting to me, so, when I was opportuned to learn Safety under Dorman Long Engineering with an Umbrella Organization being OSHA, I found it quite interesting and told myself it's something I like to do, the culture, the drill, the professionalism in thinking about Safety in every work force made my curiousity even more, I know Standards about Safety is considerably represented abroad I picked UK because I have been, I even have a daughter though we have not been in contact since 2021 when we did a video call- I would be happy to connect and not be seen as a dead beat.

I am sorry for loosing your farmland and resources, obviously I am sure that land employed some village women

I am happy your house was not bulldoze, still using your professional advise would help me

budaatum:
I was subsistent. 10 acres of oranges, palm, cocoa and kola nut trees. Cassava, maize, and bitterleaf which was my commercial. Kabiyesi sent caterpillar and bulldozed like 100 hectares of farm land. Now, only my house of 2 rooms stands right there in the middle of all this land that was the basket of the Orolu Kingdom like the Nile was to Egypt. Now women eating my palm oil are murdered and school fees are requiring alternative sourcing. The stupidity pains me too much!

I got a call last night. Person on the phone said, "10 years ago I told you I wanted to travel out of Nigeria, and you asked me if I've ever been outside Nigeria, and I said no. So you drove us to Seme Border and we walked across into the Republic of Benin, and you said, "now you've travelled out of Nigeria". "Every journey must start with a first step or one would go no where", you said, and we went to a beach on Badagry Road where you sat and read and drank Guinness for hours while I played with sand", the person on the phone told me on a call from Canada.

If I "had my way" I'd fly like superwoman and batwoman and spiderwoman and the Angel Gabriella too.

Please explain to me how you have exercised the interest that you say you have.
PoliticsRe: Are We Ready Yet? by Freeze007(m): 7:29pm On Jul 03
Akwa Ibom State, I find myself flickering here and there, loads of opportunities but the one thing to be my favourite is where I am finding hard choosing

However I have this interest to practice as a Safety Professional if I have my way I would like to do the Nebosh certification and apply to work in the UK if that sounds tenable

Oh I am sorry for your land been grabbed, are you subsistent farmer or commercial?

budaatum:
I said Gemini, but perhaps should have said Google AI.

Freeze! You need to be able to research stuff, and the internet makes that easy!

So tell, why would you not be able to .......?

Note how I left out the end of that sentence. It's because, in my mind it's not only "fashion and designing and tailor" I'm hearing you are not able to, but everything, including cybersecurity!

Palm fruits, you say. I grew that, and planted lots of bitterleaf between, but kabiyesi has appropriated my land.

What state are you in?
PoliticsRe: Are We Ready Yet? by Freeze007(m): 9:39pm On Jul 01
Palm fruits,

I must be real open to you, I doubt I would be able to learn fashion and designing that is becoming a tailor

I don't have Gemini but I would look it up.

I think what I learn is a COUNTERFEIT but what is innert in me is pure gold unfortunately I don't think I know my strength this is why I need you to be my mentor

budaatum:
Why would you not be able to learn fashion and design?

Do you perhaps subscribe to casualobserver's theory that one can't learn what one sets one's heart to?

Do a Gemini search for "learning cybersecurity" and tell me which of the steps you have already taken.

What do you farm?
PoliticsRe: Are We Ready Yet? by Freeze007(m): 8:34pm On Jun 30
At the moment I am farming, meagerly though

Where I am fashion and designing but I know I may not be able to do that.

As for the skills I would be happy to learn cyber security

At the moment my challenge is a laptop and knowing where to learn this, though, I live in the village (rural area)

budaatum:
What do you currently do?

What skills are easily learnt where you are?

Which skills can you learn with minimum expense?

You really need to access your self to know your Strengths and Weaknesses and Opportunities and Threats.

That's why I am asking for your mentorship to be very honest with you I can't think of a skill I have apart from being skilled at communicating and driving

What skills do you suggest I learn?

budaatum:
You really should be acquiring skills to be skillful for yourself, and not "if". And you should start from skills you already have that you can build on.

So tell, what skills do you currently have and what skills do you intend to acquire.

And no, I do not have "CD's from the 70/80's", as I've converted all I had to MP3s and given the CDs away.
PoliticsRe: Are We Ready Yet? by Freeze007(m): 5:18pm On Jun 26
Thank you for your honest input, yes, I am willing to be skillful if you can be my mentor to talk me through certain skills that you know aligns with your project...

By the way do you have CD's from the 70/80's?

There is a client willing to purchase them I just posted the mail sent in my feed

budaatum:
Job, no. Work that I want done, maybe. But you'd need to show you have the skills to do the work.

For instance, I have a proposed project to introduce chess in a school in Lagos. Not being there, I'd need chess sets bought and taken to the school by someone who can teach or facilitate the teaching of chess. Certain skills are required to do this work, but you have not shown you have them so you are not being considered.

What you must understand is that no one gives you a job because you need a job. You will be provided work by a person who needs a job done only if you have shown competence to do what they want done.

And that is the reason that you should acquire skills, which I would willingly assist you with if you show seriousness, for which anything Olumba Olumba would be the opposite, note.

Honestly it is high time we approach this matter nail on, nobody who suffered poverty growing up should raise a child unless you find a partner who is better off financially this is not gold digging it is having foresight what if my only mistake is not being financially stable but better in other areas like being faithful and loyal and even willing to work if I get the push to, so,ladies for the good of your unborn children find yourself a financially stable man the same goes to the man but when you are there ask him or her to lead you up the ladder that wouldn't be gold digging rather planning for a better future

So, if you are a lady ready for marriage, first thing first let's both be financially stable,to avoid endangering our offspring yet unborn

Thank you for this, I am going celibacy for 8,months or so can we talk

PurityOrNothing:
*Purity or Nothing Global Movement*
DAILY PURITY DIGEST

Date: *23rd January 2026*

Topic: The Truth About Emotional Purity

Scripture:
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." - Proverbs 4:23

*THE PURE WORD*

Emotional purity—reserving deep emotional intimacy for appropriate relationships—is as important as physical purity. Sharing your heart inappropriately creates bonds that can be as difficult to break as physical ones.

Emotional affairs often precede physical ones. You start sharing intimate details of your life, problems, dreams, and feelings with someone other than your spouse (or before marriage, with someone you're not committed to). This creates emotional bonding that leads naturally toward physical intimacy.

For single people, emotional purity means maintaining appropriate emotional distance in casual relationships, not sharing your deepest self with every person you date, and recognizing that emotional intimacy should grow alongside commitment level.

For married people, emotional purity means reserving your deepest emotional intimacy for your spouse, maintaining appropriate boundaries in opposite-sex friendships, and not seeking emotional connection with others that you should be seeking from your spouse.

Signs of emotional impurity include: thinking constantly about someone, arranging to see them, sharing things with them you don't share with appropriate people, comparing them favorably to your spouse or other relationships, and hiding the relationship from others.

Emotional purity requires wisdom about appropriate emotional boundaries in different types of relationships. Not everyone deserves access to your deepest thoughts and feelings. Reserve that access for people in committed, appropriate relationships.

*Confession:*
I acknowledge that sex is a sacred act, designed by God for divine purposes. By His grace, I will honor and uphold its sanctity. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
