Education / Ambrose Alli University Should Be Investigated by freke23(f): 3:36pm On Sep 18, 2023
Ambrose Alli university otherwise known as AAU is nothing more than a glorified secondary school where departments such as medical laboratory science and nursing just to name a few experience the worst form of oppression.
As a student in the medical laboratory science department, I can boldly say that indeed the school is in crises and the only victims are we the students and our parents who sacrifice so much for us to be educated.
AAU has refused to submit the names of students without jamb admission letters in other for jamb to regularise admission for the students so they can go for Nysc.
Students in medical laboratory science that have signed out going 1 year plus are yet to sit for second professional exams. The students that signed out early 2023 are yet to be indexed. And without index number they can’t write any professional exams but yet the school management keeps admitting over 800 students in one level.
I don’t even want to go into their marking scheme. A school where lecturers derive sick pleasure from failing students . A school where no one knows when they would go for Nysc because everything about the institution is upside down.
The management increases fees as they like while the acting vice chancellor goes on radio to lie!!!!!.
This school especially MLS faculty should have their accreditation taken away.the affected students should be shared to other institutions because tell me why a 5 year course should run for 7-8 years because of greed and corruption.
If the students speak up, they dissolve the SUG. WE NEED HELP!!!!

I registered for DE in Lagos at one of the centers at anthony, I was told there that I should make photocopies of my credentials (birth certificate, state of origin, o level and A'level), I should put them in an envelope with my name on it and go submit it at jamb office Ikoyi otherwise my school (ekpoma) won't call me for screening or give me admission, please can any one tell me how true this is?

trademoore1:
another thread based on ignorance liked, shared and hailed on by failed students
not surprised to see many comments supporting the OP
Medicine, Engineering, Law, Banking and Finance are all noble courses to read

when next you are ill- go to juju man since doctors are overrated
when you want a bridge built- fly at night since witches and wizards have overcome the need for construction
when next you have a police case- read the constitution you downloaded on your phone and argue your case
and if you ever have to make sense of taxation- consult your village chief

i fear for the future of some nigerian youths if they think like this OP
young people are trying to aspire to great things- this failed student is creating a topic to bash education and he even has some people liking and supporting him. undecided

OP- ever heard of STEM? I bet not. Countries are pouring monies to encourage more people into STEM and you are here talking failure.

Yur trying too hard to sound in intelligent.
