FULFILLING ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS
Matthew 3:15, "But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him."

To fulfill all righteousness is not just to do something for the sake of doing it for nothing sake. To fulfill all righteousness is to follow the scriptures accordingly, even when it seems not necessary or when it looks difficult. Fulfilling all righteousness is following scriptures to the last letter as written in the Bible for the fulfillment of the righteous promises of the scriptures to come to pass.

We must follow the scripture to the end before we can see the end-result of the scripture. It's when we fulfill ALL scriptural righteousness that the scriptural promises will come to pass in our lives and ministries. When we obey or fulfill half righteousness of the scriptures, when we interpret the scripture to suite our personal conveniences, or when we obey some parts of the scriptures and see the other parts as unnecessary, we cannot have the fullness and fulfillment of the righteous promises of God.

Jesus Christ went to John the Baptist for water baptism, but John saw it as quite unnecessary for Jesus Christ to be baptized by him, in fact he said he ought to come to Jesus for baptism. But then Jesus Christ told him it was necessary to fulfill all righteousness. And after Jesus was baptized by John, as He came up from the water, behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:16, 17.

Three things happened after Jesus fulfilled all righteousness:

(1) HEAVENS OPENED. Heavens, not just a single heaven, all heavens were opened on Jesus. Until we fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures, we can not experience the opened heavens of God's blessings in our lives and ministries. What we are experiencing now is minor compared to when "heavens" opens. The fullness of all blessings of heavens hinges on our fulfilling all righteousness. When we desire opened heaven of God's outpouring Spirit, anointing, blessings and miracles in our lives, families, and ministries, we must first fulfill all righteousness. Half-done obedience or half-way obedience cannot reach heaven to open.

(2) SPIRIT FALLING. God has promised the outpouring of His Spirit upon us, but before this scripture can be fulfilled, we must first fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures - by following the will of God, obeying the Word of God and doing things in the way of God. Failure to fulfill all will falter the existing blessings and frustrate the expecting promises of the scriptures. The fulfillment of God's promises is not just by asking, praying or fasting; it is by fulfilling all righteousness of God.

(3) GOD'S APPROVAL: To experience the blessing of God in our lives is not as important as experiencing the Spirit of God present and working in our lives and ministries; and to experience the move and miracles of Holy Spirit in our lives and ministries is not as important as receiving God's approval at the end of our lives on earth. It's possible to get God's blessings of opened heavens, it is possible to see the move and miracle of God's Spirit, and at the end gains no entrance into heaven.

Jesus Christ said, "Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" Matthew 7:22,23. These Christians and ministers who were disapproved by Jesus Christ experienced opened heaven of blessings in their lifetimes, they also experienced the great move and miracles of God's Spirit to the point of doing "many wonders", but they failed to fulfill all the righteousness of God in their lives and ministries, they failed to follow the scriptures to the letter, they gave their personal interpretations to the scriptures for their own conveniences. At the end, they failed to receive God's approval, and so they were doomed forever to hell despite all the blessings and anointing they had.

Jesus Christ received God's approval, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" because He fulfilled all righteousness. What if Jesus did not go to John the Baptist for water baptism? What if Jesus went to John just to visit without fulfilling all righteousness for water baptism? What if Jesus had heeded the suggestion of John the Baptism not to be baptized? He would not have seen heaven opened, then, He would not have received the Spirit falling, and He would not have received God's approval.

PERSONAL LIFE
Christianity has become so clumsy with different ideologies and doctrines that fulfilling all scriptural righteousness is not unnecessary, or it’s so tedious. In our personal Christian living, and in our different denominations, we tend to do half righteousness and fill the rest with human ideology or interpretation of the elders. We indulge in several worldliness and unfaithfulness, falling short to fulfill all righteousness. We involve in "it doesn't matter" sins, selfishness and permissiveness, and we still claim to be righteous. Little lies do not matter, little worldliness do not matter, worldly music, movies, magazines, TV reality shows, and makeup do not really matter to us any longer; exposing and expensive dress never bother us again, bribing for contracts and falsifying age for job do not matter as long as you pay your tithes faithfully.

Anger, envy, jealousy and gossip do not spoil our faith again as long we still greet one another. All these make us fall short to fulfill all righteousness, and they will make us fail to get God's approval if we do not repent. When we fail to fulfill all righteousness, then we fall short to receive God's righteous promises of eternal blessings. We need to go back to old time faith of righteousness before we can ever experience old time revival.

FAMILY
In our marriages and families, starting from courtships, do we fulfill all righteousness to keep the bed undefiled? We must fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures in our homes before we can experience God's presence. Wives must submit to their husbands irrespective of their statures, husbands must love their wives irrespective of their states, and children must obey their parents in the Lord.

The Bible says what God has joined together, let no man separate; but today, we care for money than we care for our marriage. The incessant separation because of job and business without first praying to seek God’s leading has ruined many Christian homes. Simply because of love of money and care for better financial life, we do not bother to maintain the unity of marriage; many children are wayward, many husbands have given in to strange women, and many wives are living in grave loneliness because of technical separation, because of the love of money we are running divided house. Temporal separation because of job transfer or business pursuit is not a sin, but it is not good and it will not go well with every family; that is the reason family needs to first seek God’s face for leading before moving. But the love of money and care of this world will not allow contentment and unity with little.

Oneness is Bible command in every Christian home, that is, husband and wife doing and planning EVERYTHING together, but in a case where husband has secret bank account, secret project or things he cannot disclose to his wife, and the wife has something in secret, how do you want to unite together in prayer and prevail over the enemy? How do you want to experience God’s presence in your marriage, or how will enemies not keep tormenting such Christian home when there are covered sins and past sins unrevealed?

CHURCH
In the church today, we are fulfilling scriptural righteousness to half and filling the rest with our church ordinances to suite ourselves.

Doctrines - Every denomination interpret the scriptures the way that will fit their personal interest. The members see what their senior Pastors and Bishops say as final without searching the scriptures to cross check, yes, that is like an abomination today.

Tithes- We claim the payment of tithes, we collect tithes with scriptural backing but we fail to fulfill the purpose of the tithes as clearly stated in the Bible. When the Bible says, "Bring the tithes and offerings to My storehouse, that there may be food in My house" We bring the tithes, we collect the tithes but we divert it for other purposes. We claim the promises of tithes but we don't use it for the scriptural purpose for the collection of the tithes. The biblical purpose of tithes is for distribution of the tithes for the benefits of the people who pay the tithes as the early church faithfully followed and fulfilled it. Acts 2:45; 4:35. While the scriptural purpose of the tithes is to build people in God's kingdom, we are busy building ultra modern church auditoriums.

The Bible purpose of the tithes and offerings is for Food - spiritual food for the people - for free materials; physical food for the people - for free food provisions, free basic healthcare, free library and schools for the same people who paid the tithes; instead, we are busy building multimillion church edifice. Church’s secondary schools are unavoidable, our church universities are more expensive than Government schools, and yet we pray for revival in our churches. How can there be revival of Holy Spirit when there is no faithfulness? We claim to have holiness church, but how can a church that is not faithful with money be a church of holiness? How can we claim to run a Bible church when we can’t be faith with usage of tithes as clearly stated in Old Testament and clearly followed by the New Testament church?

We give several excuses of using the tittle for administrative purposes and others, that is nothing but extra biblical misuse of fund; it is siphoning money for unbiblical purposes. The early church could also give excuses but they knew they had to fulfill all righteousness just as it is written in the scriptures, so that they would not fall short at the end. No wonder we pray and fast for revival but only to see more reversal. When we want to collect the tithes, we claim the scriptures, but when we want to use it, we say that is how churches in American and Europe use the tithes for administrative purposes. No wonder we are not having Bible church again, but American church; no wonder we are not seeing our signs again, no wonder enemies are insulting and assaulting the church, because we are not faithful, even we money. Until we fulfill all righteousness, until we are faithful to all the scriptural commands to the letter, we will keep recycling. If biblical administrative system is too old for us in our modern world, then we are too fragile to contain the old time revival.

Let’s go back to the old path of fulfilling all scriptural righteousness, no matter how old or odd it seems, so that we can experience the old time revival in our lives, homes, ministries and churches.

Hosea 6:1-3
Come, and let us return to the LORD;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
2 After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
3 Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

BEWARE OF INSINCERE CONFESSION
Joshua 7:21, “When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it.”

Before we can be converted, we need confession, before we can experience forgiveness of our sins; we need to make confession - to confess the sins to God. The same thing is applicable in interpersonal relationship between men. But there are some confessions, instead of bringing forgiveness and mercy from God, it brings hot judgment of God and instead of bringing refreshment from God, it brings wrath from God. And why should that happen? Why should confession of sin bring condemnation of soul?

It is because some confessions we make are insincere, and so they bring severe results; many people are making such mistake in Christianity today, we say, “confession is confession”, but the truth is that, there are different types of confessions, and many of them are not acceptable to God. Some people wonder why they keep confessing their sins to God and keep committing the sins over and over again; some also wonder why, after they have confessed their sins to God, they still have fear, uncertainty and condemnation. The reason is because the confession made was insincere.

TYPES OF INSINCERE CONFESSION
There are different types of insincere confessions; when you wait until your sin is discovered by people before you confess, such confession is insincere; when you wait until matters are over before you confess, that confession is not sincere; and when you confess without repentance, such confession is not sincere.

1, Waiting Too Late
Achan committed a sin, though he later confessed the sin which he committed and how he committed it, but he waited too late before he confessed, and so his confession was not accepted by God and the people of Israel. He said, “When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it.”

Sincere confession is when we confess our sin when no one can or will ever discover or take note of the sin we have committed, it is when there is high probability of loss, punishment, embarrassment and shame to follow; it is then we have sincere confession – when we confess before it’s discovered or known to people, it is then we make sincere confession.

Like Achan, confessing a sin after it has been discovered is no more a sincere confession but a confession without a choice, a confession under shame and by force, and confessing a sin after rapture or death is no more a confession but regret. Too late confession will not be seen as sincere before our family, friends and people. It is a wise choice to make confession before we will be compelled to confess, it is acceptable to God and men to expose our sins before our sins will later expose us, since there is nothing hidden before God, and also under the earth, sooner or later secret will become public gist, it is the deception of the devil that makes people to cover up. When we wait too late like Achan, our confession may lead to condemnation instead of commendation, and judgment instead of justification.

After Achan made a bitter confession, he was condemned with his supportive family, and consumed by fire. Joshua 7:25, “And Joshua said, “Why have you troubled us? The LORD will trouble you this day.” So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.”

It Is Not Too Late NOW!
Now, it is not too late to come out before God and confess your sins without pretense, it is not too late to open up to the necessary people before the sin will open you up, but the next hour may be too late. The Bible says, “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13.

Why should we cover up before all-seeing God? Why should we cover up before people till we are uncovered with shame? Never wait too late before you confess; many in hell are confessing bitterly, but it is too late because there is no repentance in the grave or in hell; you should never wait until it is too late.

“Lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.” Hebrews 12:16, 17.

Why Did God Create Marriage?
Marriage is meant for more than mutual comfort; we must see it as a word picture of the divine relationship between God and His people.

There's an old rabbinical story about how the spot was chosen for God's holy temple. Two brothers worked a common field and a common mill. Each night they divided whatever grain they had produced and each took his portion home.

One brother was single and one was married with a large family. The single brother decided that his married brother, with all those kids, certainly needed more grain than he did, so at night he secretly crept over to his brother's granary and gave him an extra portion. The married brother realized that his single brother didn't have any children to care for him in his old age. Concerned about his brother's future, he got up each night and secretly deposited some grain in his single brother's granary.

One night they met halfway between the two granaries, and each brother realized what the other was doing. They embraced, and as the story goes, God witnessed what happened and said, "This is a holy place—a place of love—and it is here that my temple shall be built." The holy place is that spot where God is made known to His people, "the place where human beings discover each other in love."

Marriage can be that holy place, the site of a relationship that proclaims God's love to this world.

The reasons for marriage
The early church fathers recognized that the analogy of reconciliation is the highest aim of marriage, pointing as a sign to the union of Christ with His church. Paul explores this theme in his letter to the Ephesians (5:22-33).

One of these early thinkers, Augustine (A.D. 354-430), suggested that there are three benefits of marriage: offspring, faith (fidelity), and sacrament. Of the three benefits, he clearly points to the latter (sacrament) as the greatest. This is because it is possible to be married without either offspring or faith, but it is not possible to be (still) married without indissolubility, which is what a sacrament points toward. As long as a couple is married, they continue to display—however imperfectly—the ongoing commitment between Christ and His church. Thus, simply "sticking it out" becomes vitally important.

Knowing why we are married and should stay married is crucial. This will lead us into a discussion brilliantly argued by Maryland pastor C.J. Mahaney in an audiotape series on marriage titled According to Plan. The key question is this: Will we approach marriage from a God-centered view or a man-centered view? In a man-centered view, we will maintain our marriage as long as our earthly comforts, desires, and expectations are met. In a God-centered view, we preserve our marriage because it brings glory to God and points a sinful world to a reconciling Creator.

More than seeing marriage as a mutual comfort, we must see it as a word picture of the most important news humans have ever received—that there is a divine relationship between God and his people. Paul explicitly makes this analogy in his letter to the Ephesians. You've probably read these words (or heard these words quoted) dozens, if not hundreds, of times: "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to Himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless" (Ephesians 5:25-27).

In fact, both the Old and New Testaments use marriage as a central analogy—the union between God and Israel (Old Testament) and the union between Christ and His church (the New Testament). Understanding the depth of these analogies is crucial, as they will help us determine the very foundation on which a truly Christian marriage is based. If I believe the primary purpose of marriage is to model God's love for His church, I will enter this relationship and maintain it with an entirely new motivation, one hinted at by Paul in his second letter to the Corinthians: "So we make it our goal to please Him" (2 Corinthians 5:9).
What makes God happy?

Paul answers a lot of questions for us when he says, "We make it our goal to please Him." When something is the motive force behind all we do, it becomes the driving force for every decision we make. And Paul is crystal clear: The first question we should ask ourselves when doing anything is, "Will this be pleasing to Jesus Christ?"

The first purpose in marriage—beyond happiness, sexual expression, the bearing of children, companionship, mutual care and provision, or anything else—is to please God. The challenge, of course, is that it is utterly selflessliving; rather than asking, "What will make me happy?" we are told that we must ask, "What will make God happy?" And just in case we don't grasp it immediately, Paul underscores it a few verses later: "Those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again" (2 Corinthians 5:15).

I have no other choice as a Christian. I owe it to Jesus Christ to live for Him, to make Him my consuming passion and the driving force in my life. To do this, I have to die to my own desires daily. I have to crucify the urge that measures every action and decision around what is best for me. Paul is eloquent regarding this fact: "We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body" (2 Corinthians 4:10).

Just as Jesus went to the cross, so I must go to the cross, always considering myself as carrying around "the death of Jesus" so that His new life—His motivations, His purposes, His favor—might dominate in everything I do.

Pleasing God through marriage
This reality calls me to look at my spouse through Christian eyes: "So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view ..." (2 Corinthians 5:16a). The reason is clear: "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (5:17). Part of this new identity is a new ministry, one that is given to every Christian, as it is inherent in the person of Jesus Christ: "All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation" (5:18).

Think about this. The very nature of Christ's work was a reconciling work, bringing us together again with God. Our response is to become reconcilers ourselves. C. K. Barrett defines reconciliation as "to end a relation of enmity, and to substitute for it one of peace and goodwill."

Clearly Paul is talking about carrying the message of salvation. But we cannot discuss with any integrity the ending of "a relation of enmity" and the dawning of "peace and goodwill" if our marriages are marked by divorce, fighting, and animosity. Everything I am to say and do in my life is to be supportive of this gospel ministry of reconciliation, and that commitment begins by displaying reconciliation in my personal relationships, especially in my marriage.

If my marriage contradicts my message, I have sabotaged the goal of my life: to be pleasing to Christ and to faithfully fulfill the ministry of reconciliation, proclaiming to the world the good news that we can be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. If my "driving force" is as Paul says it should be, I will work to construct a marriage that enhances this ministry of reconciliation—a marriage that, in fact, incarnates this truth by putting flesh on it, building a relationship that models forgiveness, selfless love, and sacrifice.

The last picture I want to give the world is that I have decided to stop loving someone and that I refuse to serve this person anymore, or that I have failed to fulfill a promise I made many years before. Yet this is precisely the message many Christians are proclaiming through their actions. According to pollster George Barna, self-described "born-again" Christians have a higher rate of divorce than unbelievers (twenty-seven percent to twenty-three percent). Those who adopt the label "fundamentalist Christian" have the highest divorce rate of all (thirty percent). We can't carry a message well if we don't live it first.

I know there are exceptions. But one of the reasons I am determined to keep my marriage together is not because doing so will make me happier (although I believe it will); not because I want my kids to have a secure home (although I do desire that); not because it would tear me up to see my wife have to "start over" (although it would). The first reason I keep my marriage together is because it is my Christian duty. If my life is based on proclaiming God's message to the world, I don't want to do anything that would challenge that message.

CLOSE YOUR EYES
Genesis 3:4, 5, "Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

When you become a child of God, your eyes are to be closed to the sinful and worldly exposure; but then Satan will keep suggesting to you to open your eyes, saying you are missing a lot of fun and fortune; that you need to open your eyes to get more pleasure and fun, that you need to open your eyes to gain more profits and fortunes of this world. But the truth behind it is that, opening your eyes to the world will only blind your eyes to God's glory.

Temptations will always come from people, insulting and imploring children of God to open their eyes to things God forbids. Some of those things are:

WORLDLY FUN
Ungodly people or unregenerated "Christians" make fun out of sin, but a godly and genuine child of God runs away from sin. There are several worldly fun the devil is using to pollute this generation, and many churches and Christians are falling victim; that is the reason a serious minded Christian must keep his or her eyes closed to those things. It is when a soul is not saved and sanctified that one can see sin as fun. People take sexual immorality to be fun: premarital sex, extra-marital sex, pornography, immoral movies, masturbation, MouthAction, anal sex, and homosexuality; Satan blinds their hearts and make them to see those things as fun until the fierce judgments come upon them. Night party, alcoholic drinks, inordinate comedy, worldly TV shows, beauty contests; worldly music, magazines, movies and many other ungodly activities are worldly fun a child of God must close his eyes to.

WORLDLY FASHION
There are forces of the darkness working behind fashion today. The devil uses worldly fashion to entrap many souls in the name of latest fashion; many Christians and churches have fallen into this satanic traps that there is no different between many Christians and unbelievers. Satan can use this to entice you, saying you need to open your eyes to the latest fashion - ungodly dress. Any dress that does not cover your body well is a worldly fashion. As a woman, anything you wear that shows the "trace element" of your breasts is a worldly fashion working for Satan; any dress that is tight on your body that shows the shape of your body is a worldly fashion, trapping souls to the kingdom of hell; any clothes that is transparent which shows underwear is under worldly fashion. As a man, sagging trouser, wearing pencil trousers are parts of the worldly fashion. To remain focused on God, you must destroy such clothes and close your eyes to them.

WORLDLY FORTUNE
Making or getting money in ways and manners that are not biblical is another way the gods of this world are trapping souls, opening their eyes to the devil and blinding them to God. Money gambling, lotto, money lottery, money laundry, betting; bribery and settlement, illegal importations, illegal businesses and other businesses or means that will not glorify God are worldly means of fortune making. As a child of God, for you to retain your name in the Book of life, your eyes must be closed to every means of satanic fortune making.

NEVER SEE FOR ONCE!
Do not be tempted to open your eyes to the attraction of Satan for once; don't attempt to say, "Let me just see what it is all about, and nothing will happen." If you open your eyes to the temptation of sinful stuffs, it may be too late for you to resist it again. Eve saw and she couldn't withdraw herself from what she saw until she fell and never stood again. "So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate." Genesis 3:6

Seeing can dangerously lead to sin. If you see, you may not be able to take your stand with God again, so don't see but stay away; do not get to the point of seeing, do not stay close to people or things that will lure you into sin. It is better to stay away than to stay closed to be stained with sin. Do not move close to the scene of sin because Satan is standing right there to sink you down into sin if you ever take a step closer.

The Bible says, "Abstain from every form of evil." 1 Thessalonians 5:22, but if you think nothing will happen if you stay close just to see, God's grace will not be available to back you up, because that is tempting God. Do not open it for once, do not entertain the visit for once, do not listen to them for once, do not watch it for once, do not follow them for once; there is nothing to gain from opening your eyes to what God warns you to close your eyes to. Wisdom demands that you should detach yourself from worldly friends or people who try to lure you to sin, that you should delete the worldly music from your phone and sinful thoughts from your mind by the Blood of Jesus; wisdom also demands that you should destroy every worldly dress and stuffs, so that they will not destroy your soul.

God want and warns us to keep our eyes closed to the things and exposures of this world, do not yield to the pressure of the people to be exposed to worldly lifestyles even if their Christianity sees nothing bad there; it's better to be naive to the system of this world and nearer to God than to be seen as civilized and exposed, and become estranged from God. It is better for people to make fun of you for being an old believer than for Satan to make fun out of your life.

When a child of God opens her eyes to worldly stuffs and system, God's glory is departed and shame is replaced. Genesis 3:7, "Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings." We cannot walk with God and open our eyes to the things of this world at the same time. Our eyes must be closed and remain closed to the world, and opened to God's Word, so that at the end we can see God's glory.

1 John 2:15-17
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

DON’T BE BITTER
The greatest defeat a child of God can experience from the mistreatment of people is to harbor bitterness in his heart. As a child of God, when you allow bitterness in your heart because of the wrongdoing or misbehavior of people, it will poison your spiritual life, hampers your free relationship with the people, and it hinders unsaved people who offend you from coming to God; because bitterness will hinder you from praying for them and from loving them.

Bitterness is poisonous and pernicious, because it is within, right in the heart, and it may not be easily noticed outside. Acts 8:23, “For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.” Bitterness is as a result of people wrong talking or treatment of people, which actually goes beyond the flesh and blood. Bitterness is a satanic weapon against the children of God, and many within and outside the church are trapped, even against one another among the brethren. Even when you do not revenge, fight back, talk back or retaliate against people who mistreat, offend or speak against you, if care is not taken, you may be bitter in your heart against them by grudge, and in such case, Satan has won the battle.

Bitterness is a little sin, but so large to hinder a child of God from making heaven. As it is common among unbelievers, so it is among believers and mostly among "mature" Christians. It is subtle but destructive. If it is not settled at once, It leads to anger, evil speaking, slander and malice. It hinders one's prayer, free fellowship with one another and it hinders one from making heaven.

The only remedy and means to block bitterness from gaining access into our hearts is to overlook offenses and forgive freely. Don't mind, don't enumerate what people do against you, just forgive and escape bitterness. We must also pray daily for cleansing and grace to overcome such subtle sins.

Ephesians 4:31, 32
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

DO YOU LOVE GOD OR YOU LIKE HIM?
Yes you are a Christian, devoted and doing fine in the church, but do you really love God? Let’s check this:

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21

Loving God is not just believing that God exists or going to church, it’s not just praising and worshiping God with a longing heart or loud voice; loving God is not evidential because you love praise and worship unto God, because you are devoted to the work of God or you like talking about God. And giving money to God’s work or seriously and zealously committed to God’s work is not the yardstick of love for God.

The only genuine evidence and prove of your love for God, first and foremost, is keeping all His commandments, not some of them – living in holiness and righteousness of life to please God; without this, you do not love God, you only like Him.

To love God, you will need to first lay down your sins at His feet, repent, forsake and surrender all unto Him to experience genuine salvation. Sin displeases God, and you can't keep displeasing Him you really love. Genuine salvation will first come before genuine love for God.

SERVICE, SACRIFICE & SIN/CERITY
You can be so committed to the things of God, you can be a devoted Christians before men, you can be a leader in the church or a minister, but if you are not living in holiness and righteous of life to please God, you only like God, you have not loved him.

Your service to God, your sacrifice to God without your sincere love for Him will profit you nothing at the end of your life or on the day of rapture. Here is what Apostle Paul said, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Before you serve or sacrifice unto God, you need to first sincerely surrender your life to Him by repenting, confessing your sins and forsake them all. When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, you start a new life in Him, free of sin, just sincere! But if you are working, serving God and sacrificing unto Him with sin in your life, you are a worker of iniquity and such service profits nothing.

You need to first surrender your life to Jesus Christ before you can acceptably serve Him, you will need to be saved before you can make a sincere sacrifice unto God.

1 Samuel 15:22, “ So Samuel said:
“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.

THE KEY TO SUCCESS
Joshua 1:8, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

In this era of increasing knowledge, there are several types of rules and keys for success, both biblical and non-biblical. And because we all desire success, we do not relent to seek for means to succeed. As anyone would seriously desire formula for success, Joshua was; he just succeeded Moses in the leadership of the nation Israel. He was assuming an awesome responsibility in taking command of two-and-half million people. If anyone needed a formula for success, Joshua did. What comfort and assurance it must have been as the Lord Himself spoke to Joshua and gave him the master key to success – meditating upon God’s Word. Joshua was to meditate upon the Word of God day and night, meaning at all the time, and he was promised good success by so doing.

The same formula is applicable and available for us today as we desire success spiritually, physically, financially, martially, etc. Our success in life is underneath the Word of God, and by searching deep into the Word of God, we discover our desired success. We are to read it, but not just reading; we are to meditate upon reading it by repeatedly and prayerfully thinking about it in order to gain a better understanding and apply it into our daily living. This is the key to success in Christ Jesus. Any success outside the Word of God only leads to sorrow. Read your Bible every day, reason with it every time and reason through it in every situation.

Psalm 119:9, “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.”

THE FAITH OF ABRAHAM....Please read carefully!

Genesis 22: 8, “And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.”

The Bible usually portraits Abraham as a man of faith, and more than that he was always referred to from Old Testament to New Testament as example of faith and father of faith because of His faith and obedience to God.

The greatest test of faith Abraham encountered in his life was the order from God to offer his only son Isaac as burnt offering.

The Genesis 22:1-3, “Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.”

Abraham obeyed the divine order and embarked on the journey to the designated place for the sacrifice, with Isaac and his servants. Though Isaac was a lad, but he had knowledge about the ingredients for burnt offering, since it was the usual activity of his father. He knew it took three items for burnt offering sacrifice: the lamb, wood and fire; but that very day he could only see fire and wood. So he curiously asked his father Abraham in Gen: 22: 7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!”And he said, “Here I am, my son.” Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

That was on unequivocal question from Isaac to Abraham, and without confusion or worry, Abraham responded to the question with confidence and faith in God, “And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.” The statement of Abraham was not a diplomatic or cryptic statement; it was a clear statement of faith in God without iota of doubt or confusion. He declared God would provide for Himself; how certain! This is a confession of faith from a patriot of faith.

Abraham believed God could do all things that God could bring something from nothing, so he wasn't disturbed. Because he believed God could make miraculous provision for the burnt offering, so he told his son that God would provide. Here is the heart of the matter: Abraham believed, through his response to Isaac, that God was able to make miraculous provision of the lamb but he also trusted God to lay down his only beloved son Isaac for the sacrifice, even if God choose not to provide the lamb. That is the faith of Abraham: Believing and trusting.

When father Abraham got to the designation for the sacrifice, he built the altar for the sacrifice and through all these processes no miraculous provision of animal. He did not fold his hands and seat down waiting for God to provide the lamb as he had declared to his son, but he went ahead and laid down Isaac for the burnt offering. Though he believed and confessed God could do all things but he also trusted God to lay down his Isaac. Hebrew 11: 17-19 says, By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” 19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.”

So, why did Abraham laid his son on the altar for to sacrifice, after he had confessed God would provide? Abraham believed God was able to provide, but he also trusted God to give, offer his Isaac even if God chose not to provide. This action of Abraham became typical example of faith, and it was referred to several times in the Bible. Faith is believing and trusting, believing God is able to provide, deliver, heal, do something, do all things and also moving on to trust He Him even when chooses not to intervene in the situation.

The fact that you believe God doesn't means you will not make some sacrifices; the fact that you are a believer doesn't indicates God would not permit you to go through hard and difficult time, and because you believe God is able, all-powerful and all-mighty doesn’t implies you will not pass through moments of trials and afflictions. What really shows your faith, and belief in God is your trusting Him and being calm in difficult situation and affliction, when God does not respond as early or through the means you expect. When things turn upside down, when trials and situations emerge, and you don’t abandon the altar and run away from God, but keep the fire burning on the altar of your commitment and godliness; that is the faith of Abraham.

Faith is not a bed of roses, it’s not always "claim and cash" as the modern preachers speciously teach. Jesus never taught faith as a means of catching money, prosperity and easy life, He never described the journey of faith as trend of luxury and platter of gold. Faith is believing in the power, provision and prosperity of God and also trusting Him to the end even if things doesn’t work as desired. Faith without trust is fake just as faith without work is dead. You believe and you trust, that is the faith of Abraham, the real practical faith of the patriots of faith.

Abraham’s faith is an illustration of the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, of believing and trusting. Jesus believed God more than anyone could and He also trusted God to lay down His life on God’s will, because He trusted Him to raise Him up from the dead. Gethsemane was a battleground of faith for Jesus Christ on the way to the death of cross at Calvary. Jesus made a statement of perfect and real faith in Mark 14:36, “He said; ‘Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what you will” Believing and trusting! Jesus confessed all things were possible for God, that is faith in God, believing the all-powerful and all-mighty God without any doubt, but it didn’t end there; He said, “not what I will but what you will’ that is trusting God even in the very troubled time, and submitting unto His will.

Jesus believed His Father was able to do all things and He also submitted and trusted Him to do the best; that is faith, which is the best, the will of God is the best. When we trust God and submit to His will even in difficult time, it shows we have the real faith of Abraham, and more importantly, the faith of Jesus Christ. Faith is not solely believing God for something, but also trusting Him even when the situation gets worst. Anybody can believe God but it takes real faith to trust and stay with God in trouble and affliction. Everybody can claim to have faith in God, but it takes a difficult and hard time to prove a genuine faith. Faith is total belief in God’s power and total surrender to God’s will.

Do you have the real faith? The faith that anchors in the word of God, the faith that stands in the flame of fire of trial? Do you have the faith like Abraham that stood strong at mount Moriah when he was asked to offer his only beloved son? Do you have the perfect faith of Jesus at mount of Olive in Gethsemane when He was to offer Himself as sin offering for the whole world? God didn’t allow Abraham to offer Isaac as sacrifice, but He allowed Jesus Christ to offer Himself as a sacrifice for our sins on the cross.

Characteristics Of Genuine Faith
(1) Genuine faith comes through the word of God. Faith doesn’t come by feeling or by just human experience, it comes by the Word of God. Romans 10:17, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

(2) Genuine faith brings new life in Jesus. Faith without new life is fate. 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

(3) Genuine faith believes God and trusts God. If your faith is all about believing in God’s power for possibility without trusting God to continue to serve and sacrifice if nothing happens, then you need to get the real faith. Faith in God is not only to claim and cash, but to trust and obey. Hebrews 11:17-19, “By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” 19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.”

(4) Genuine Faith doesn’t give up. Real faith stands and stays to the end. When feeling disappears, faith continues; when human courage vanishes, faith is firm. Hebrews 11:13, “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”

(5) Genuine faith does not compromise. Faith in God is standing for God’s will in God’s word, it is pleasing God, because it is not possible to please God without faith. Faith is not believing God for our desires, but also trusting God for His will. Real faith doesn’t compromise with sin. The modern churches that preach faith do not really understand what faith is all about. How can you have faith in God as your Provider and you lie or compromise to get provision, contracts or job? How can you have faith in God as your Protector and you are afraid of demonic people? How can you have faith in God as your Healer and you allow your people in village to give you or your family concussion? How can you have faith in God as your Glory and you abort or do sinful things to cover up? I don’t understand the kind of faith many claim in sin, the faith of the Bible doesn’t compromise with sin. A faithful believer does not lie for any reason at any time. It takes faith to stand and say the truth always, but only fear makes people compromise.

Hebrews 11:24, “ By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.”

(6) Genuine Faith is submissive to God, not stubborn. Abraham submitted to God’s will, Jesus surrendered to God’s will at the Gethsemane, so real faith yields to God’s will not stubborn to personal decision and desire. You want something this way, but God says no, the other way; faith submits. Mark 14:36, “He said; ‘Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what you will”

(7) Genuine faith stands to the end. Chapter 11 of Hebrews lists heroes of faith, it only contains the names of people who stood to the end, and you will not see the names of people like Saul and others who fell by the road side. Your faith is only faith if you endure till the end and make heaven or what is the essence of a strong faith that later ends up in hell with unbelievers? Mark 13:13, “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

( Genuine faith waits. It is only fear that runs here and there, but faith in God waits upon God for God's time and blessing. Isaiah 28:16, “…Whoever believes will not act hastily.”

(9) Genuine faith does not fear. Fear is opposed of faith. Children of God do not fear but have faith in God at all time and even in the shadow of death. Faith does not fear men, but only God. Hebrews 11:23, “By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.”

(10) Genuine faith is prayerful. The fact that we have faith does not mean we should be prayerless and just believe, it is faith that actually pushes us to pray more because we believe our God answers prayer. Faith is not weak in prayer, men of faith prayed without ceasing because they had faith in God that answers prayer. Faith will move you to pray for others because you believe God answers your prayer. Prayer without faith is dry and faith without prayer is dull. Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Have faith in God to provide and help you in every situation, and keep the faith no matter the situation. Faith will hold you through the storm of life; faith will keep you strong and confident even to the point of death. Faith will take you to eternal life where father Abraham other patriots of faith are, more than that, faith will take you to the bosom of Jesus Christ in Heaven.

LIVING AS BRETHREN IN THE CHURCH
Psalm 133:1, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

There is nothing more pleasant in this world than to be among the brethren living together in unity, it is like a heaven on earth. There is no other thing on earth as splendid as paradise like brethren living together in unity. That was the reason the Psalmist made an exclamation, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” what a glorious atmosphere!

To live as brethren in the church does not means that Christians should be living together under single roof, it does not means attending the same denominational church; living as brethren goes beyond attending the same church, it is deeper and greater.

From this topic of living as brethren in the church, there three important words: church, brethren and living. Let’s check them one after the other.

CHURCH
Acts 2:47, “Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

Church is a gathering of the regenerated saved people, this is the biblical church; it is not a building, it is not a denomination, and it is not a gathering of sinners. Church involves people who have been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, whose sins have been pardoned, who are genuinely saved. Only the saved make a church and only those are being saved are joined to the church, “And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

The modern system of “Let the sinners join the church and let them become saved gradually” is the deception of the devil to pollute and pervert the church. To incorporate the unsaved into the system of the church is an evidence of misled leadership.

BRETHREN
Brethren mean brothers and sisters from different communities, countries, and of different culture and color coming and living together as one; with stronger tie of heavenly Father than biological family. Brethren are not just people in the same denomination but people in the Lord who have experienced the same salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

LIVING – AS BRETHREN IN THE CHURCH
This is the main topic, how can we live together as brethren in the church? Before we can live as brethren in the church, there must be salvation, sharing and sanctification:

Salvation: this is the beginning of the church and brethren; a church without the foundation of genuine salvation in Christ is a satanic manipulated church, and if there are brethren without genuine salvation, then they are “so called” brethren. The primary purpose of a Bible church is to lead people to salvation, the greatest focus and ambition of a Bible church is the salvation of the souls, the primary preaching and prayer of a Bible church is salvation of souls. Romans 10:1, “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.” The greatest achievement of a church is not having great numbers of people, it is not building a muilti-million auditorium, but it is leading souls to Christ.

A church whose priority and primary preaching and prayer is to lead people to prosperity, blessings, healing or deliverance is a misled church and cannot produce brethren in the Lord but church goers, and so there is no way they can live together as brethren. Many denominational churches long to see their church members, workers and leaders living together as brethren, but this cannot be possible when there is no genuine salvation. Why we have fake brethren and funny incidents happening in the church today is because there is no genuine salvation as the foundation of our coming together. Anything that brings people together in the church apart from the genuine salvation of their souls cannot sustain them to live together as brethren.

To live together as brethren in the church means to live in love and unity, and there is no other means these can happen except we are truly regenerated. Goats and sheep cannot live together in love and unity, so also saints and added sinners or saved leaders and unsaved members or workers cannot live together as brethren, they can only bear one another with endurance, but not being brethren. So the first thing we need to set as foundation is genuine salvation.

Sharing
After we are saved in Christ Jesus, we are to live in love, this is the only means by which we can live together as brothers and sisters; and the first and greatest means to live in love as brethren is by sharing. Without sharing, living together as brethren is fake, infact there cannot even be anything like real brethren without sharing.

If we truly care to live together as brethren in the church today, then we need to look back and see how the early Christians, church lived as brethren in the Bible. The first church successfully lived together in their thousands as brethren.

Acts 4:32-35
“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.”

Without sharing together, our professed love is fake, or how can you call me brother and you don’t care to share with me from the little you have. When we call ourselves brethren without sharing, we make ourselves liars. 1 John 3:16-18, “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”

The evidence of genuine love among brethren is sharing. You can share without being among the brethren, but you cannot have genuine brethren without sharing.

The Bible says, “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” 1 John 3:16. What it means is that if truly we have brethren and if truly we are part of the brethren, then we must sacrifice for the brethren by sharing. Some sharings are easy and some are hard, both must be made, it is sacrifice.

For the saved people to live together as brethren in the church, the leaders must show examples of sharing, the leaders in the church from the pastors to the workers must lay down their conveniences and comfort for the lives of brethren. A pastor who cares for buying a car or building house than meeting the basic needs of the church members is a bad example among the brethren. A pastor or leader who cannot sell his properties to help meet the urgent needs of brethren is a fake leader. Being a leader or pastor is not just by the position on the church but by laying down one’s life for the members of the brethren.

Without sharing, there cannot be love and we cannot live together as brethren.

Another secret of sharing together is the power of revival. A church that lacks sharing among brethren can never experience great move of the power of God, no matter how long they pray, preach and fast. The Bible recorded that great power and grace followed the apostles after sharing with the brethren. “And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.” Acts 4:33.

You cannot experience the great power and grace of God if you are selfish and self-centred without affectionate care for others; you can never experience the great power of God in your church without sharing among the brethren. When a church does not share materials, meat, and financial aids to meet needs in the church, people cannot live together as brethren in that same church. Sharing together brings and binds children of God together as brethren.

SANCTIFICATION
In order to keep our salvation in Christ secured and our love for one another perfect and pure, we must grow into sanctification. Sanctification is becoming like Jesus every day and abstaining from impurity. Sanctification keeps the love among brethren to be pure.

Here is explanation of sanctification among the brethren as written in Ephesians 4:21-32:

“If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

25 Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,”for we are members of one another. 26 “Be angry, and do not sin” do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

CONCLUSION
Living as brethren in the church is the best life we can live on earth which is brought to us by Jesus Christ. The beginning of living as brethren is genuine salvation through faith, repentance and confession of our sins and new life in Jesus Christ; the center of living together as brethren in the church is real love through sharing among one another, and the continuity of living together as brethren is sanctification, keep ourselves and love pure from being polluted.

HOW TO PRAY EFFECTIVELY
“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16

Prayer is a very important weapon and way of life for every Christian. Christian race starts with prayer, grows with prayer and even ends with prayer. The sad case is that as more Christians are embanking on more prayers, as there are more programs for prayers, more prayer meetings, prayer grounds an...d mountains; as there are more people taking interest in praying to God, but there are less effective prayers. More people praying, more prayers being prayed but less prayers being effective and so we are seeing little effect of our large amount of prayers. It is not about praying that matters, it is not about more prayers that avails much, it is only effective prayer. So, before you throw yourself into more prayer, take time to learn how to pray effective prayer.

E F F E C T I V E – P R A Y E R
(1) Turn Righteous. To pray effectively, you must turn to a righteous life. This starts when you repent and turn away from your sins, then turn to new righteous life in Jesus Christ our Lord. It is not just fasting that makes prayer to be effective nor going to a big man of God; it’s living a righteous life, confessing and forsaking every sin, no matter how small. Clearing away any spot of sinful blemish and freely forgiving others is righteous living. Only the prayer of the righteous avails much. Let’s first take more time to grow in righteous living in Christ Jesus before we take more time to pray.

(2) Tune to Praises. When you totally dedicate your life to Jesus, you have assurance that whatever you ask God through Jesus, He will answer; this confidence makes you to give more praise unto God in your prayer time than petitioning. For the prayer of a righteous person in Christ to be effective, he must learn to praise and worship God before and after requesting.

(3) Take First Thing First. To pray effectively, you must be a righteous man and take the kingdom of God and His righteousness as your first priority. In your prayer life, you should take your righteous living first, spend more time to pray for God’s grace to live righteous life; confess your spiritual weakness to God and ask for strength to overcome sin and self. Then you should spend the little time remaining to pray on your physical, financial, marital, material, medical and other needs.

Do you wonder why spending more time to praise and pray for purity while you have a lot of urgent needs and issues? God knows all your needs even before you ask, what you need is more righteous living and praising God. Take more time to praise God and pray on your life of purity than praying on your problem, because it is not much prayer on your problem that will solve your problem but effective prayer of the righteous.

Lastly, don’t waste your precious time praying against witches, wizards, they are under your feet when you praise God and live righteous life, you just need to command them in Jesus name and they flee.

Pastor Jeremiah Steepek (pictured below) transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service, only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food - NO ONE in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit n the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him.

As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation. "We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek." The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation. The homeless man sitting in the back stood up and started walking down the aisle. The clapping stopped with ALL eyes on him. He walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment then he recited,

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

'The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning. Many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame. He then said, "Today I see a gathering of people, not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples. When will YOU decide to become disciples?"

He then dismissed service until next week.

Being a Christian is more than something you claim. It's something you live by and share with others. Fruit of the Spirit is the evidence of new life in Jesus Christ.

Galatians 5:22, 23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law."

REVELATION OF THE PRESENT CONDITION OF THE CHURCH

Pastors, evangelists, preachers and missionaries; please excuse me and listen. God has not called you to preach abundance of prosperity or prophecy about that. God has called you to preach holiness and sanctification, because without holiness, nobody will see the lord. Get the word out, get the word of holiness out there and preach it !!!

The angels then let me in and Jesus was waiting for me and told me: “Rodolfo my son, welcome to the Kingdom of your God.” When we started to walk, I saw that the streets were of pure gold and I saw a river like crystal, it is real water! I also saw diamonds as ornaments in the streets, a thing over which people kill each other on earth! The Lord then took my hand and told me: “now I am going to show you the temple.” and it was so beautiful. I saw goblets of gold, instruments of gold and I heard a beautiful song and they were children who were singing. The Lord told me that those children were the ones that people rejected on earth but they have life in the kingdom of heaven. Glory to God, hallelujah!

BRIDAL DRESS, WEDDING SUPPER, CROWNS
We continued walking through heaven and I saw a beautiful, humongous white dress decorated in gold and a crown at the top and the Lord told me that it was His church. That it has to be holy and sanctified. The crown is the crown of life that the lord is going to give to the church. When we went out of there, I saw a great line of people. I could see many people dressed in white. I saw two big angels, very elegant countenance and by looking into their eyes, I saw peace, love tenure. One angel said “welcome to the kingdom of your God.” The other angel applauded. I saw people were so happy to be there and now I understand what apostle Paul said that the passing afflictions on earth are nothing compared to the glories awaiting for us in heaven.

The Lord then took me to a place where I saw a long table without end. The table was in gold. The table cloth covering was of gold, goblets of gold, knives and forks in gold, chairs of gold etc… Then I saw big and small crowns and the Lord told me that those big crowns are for His servants, when they come to the wedding of the Lamb. He said “because the wedding of the Lamb is about to start. I am coming soon for my church. Tell them that I am going to pick up my church.”
I asked the Lord“these small crowns, who are they for?”
“Those small crowns are for the people inside the church who live in holiness but they do nothing for the Kingdom. But I tell you, don’t settle for a small crown but work hard for a big one. Work hard for God so that He would give you the reward of life.” The surprising thing was that every chair has a name behind them and nobody else is going to sit in that chair except for that person.

CONDITION OF TODAY’S CHURCH
“Now Rodolfo, I am going to show you the real condition of the church right now”. I saw a little fish praising and worshiping Jesus because the Bible says: Let all that has breath, praise the Lord!

So the Lord showed me the earth where I had to return to preach what I saw. But I had the impression that I had no remembrance of the earth and the Lord gave me the understanding that one who enters into heaven forgets everything that happened to them on earth!. Not so however in hell; everyone who enters there has memories of everything they did on earth, their families, that that they don’t want them to go to hell! That is another torment added to their sufferings. But the one who enters heaven has their mentality changed to a heavenly mind.

Praise the Lord! For that reason, not Peter nor Mary nor Stephen, nor Elisha or John have a memory of what they did on earth; after their earthly lives, they simply don’t know what is happening here. Peter cannot even imagine that the catholic religion adore him or any other saint for that matter. And Jesus said, “there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved.” That is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. And Mary said in the Canaan wedding “Do whatever He tells you”. And … worshipers of Satan are in the Vatican; they hide all the sinful ways of priests sleeping with nuns; and priests being accused of child molestation and also here in the Dominican Republic…. And the Catholics continue to believe in those lies.

MONEY FOCUSED & UNFAITHFUL MINISTERS
Now the Lord started crying when He started to show me the condition of the church. Suddenly I saw a pastor on earth carrying a big suitcase and it was full of money. The Lord told me, ‘These are preachers and evangelists that are getting rich with the offerings because they are preaching lies to my people and letting my people get lost.” I tell you preachers and evangelists, preach Jesus even if you don’t receive tithes and offerings. Sanctify the church!

Suddenly I saw that the money in the suitcase disappeared. I asked the Lord and He told me that “In the same manner his money disappeared, so will he disappear together with the antichrist. But still I have a remnant of my people who are not contaminated.”

I see today how many preachers, pastors, evangelists … are rich and millionaires. However, the members of their church are falling into pieces in poverty, needing food to eat and the pastor is in opulence, not helping them! So many evangelists, multi-millionaires even billionaires in super luxury cars. Where is the Good Samaritan? And I saw many pastors ministering at the altar but I then saw this one pastor finishing ministering that day and leaving his home where his wife was and he left her to meet his lover with whom he lives too!… and she was also a member of his church!

I also saw an evangelist leaving his church and a few blocks away, he went down and saw a prostitute. The same evangelist who was ministering at the altar! Oh, Lord! Please have mercy on us!

UNHOLY ACTS – MASTURBATION
After that the Lord showed me a group of youths of a church that when they leave the church, they went to a dark place because they think that the Lord is not seeing them and they got into that place and they start masturbating and fornicating against their own bodies. And after that, they would go and minister at the altar! Presidents of youths, leaders of the church! (If you need help overcoming this sin, you can contact the address below)

UNHOLY MUSIC IN THE CHURCH
Now the Lord showed me a disco and a church and the Lord told me: “observe well” and I looked and saw that the church just looked like the disco! There was no difference! They had the same sound systems, same music, same equipment that is entering from the world into the church! The world should convert to Christianity but not the other way around. We are bringing the world into the church! Also I have to tell you this: We cannot praise and worship God with Reggaeton, with Bachaton or Rock. Even today there are Christians songs that are being sung to God and then to the world, using the very same words! They don’t mention God but only mention the word ‘love’.

I also saw Rap music and Perreo in the church and that is unacceptable. The Bible says that we must worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (for true worship see Col 3,16 & John 4, 23-24) ….. Rock is satanic and it was invented in hell. Pastors and evangelists, please get that Cursed music out of the churches!!!

The Lord then showed me the musicians that are so perverted. They are singing in the church on one hand, then they make contracts to sing even in restaurants as private musicians; they go to church to praise the Lord! Let me tell you: that music the Lord doesn’t accepts and please excuse me I must tell you the truth. What is from God is holy and separated for God and God alone. And what those musicians do today, they go, sing at the church, then they disappear from the service, because they look like they are playing to God as a contract, so they think they don’t need to be there for the rest of the service, they leave early. At that moment, the Lord told me “unfortunately, that type of church will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

At this point, are you ready to surrender your life to Jesus Christ and start a new life in Him? Do you want to rededicate your life to Him so you will not perish with this world? ATTEMPT TO HELP GOD
"And when they came to Chidon’s threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled. Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God. " 1 Chronicles 13:9-10

God is Almighty and All-powerful, All-sufficient and Self-existent God who lives from everlasting to everlasting. He sees all things, knows all things at the same time. He is the Helper of all and needs no help from anyone, and from Him flows all goodness and blessings. For a human being or any being to attempt to help this Almighty God is a terrible mistake and sin, because it is an act of despising, dishonoring, and reducing God to a person who needs help. Attempting to help God is a terrible mistake of all time, and that was what Uzza did, he saw that God's Ark was about to fall and he decided to help God hold it back despite the fact that God had lay down instructions on who to touch or carry the Ark. God was angry with Uzza and He struck him to death.

How People Attempt To Help God Today
Many are acting like Uzza today. In your personal life, you attempt to help God after you are trusting God for a blessing and then take ungodly means to help get or fast track the blessing. When you are trusting God for a particular job, contract, position or provision and you know God has been working it out for you all along, but it gets to a point, due to some circumstances and challenges, it seems the blessing may not get to you; so to avoid further delay or disappointment, you have to commit a little sin to make things work out. Then you go ahead to testify of the goodness of God. That is the terrible sin of helping the Almighty God.

God promised you provision, a promotion, a position or a partner, and He was working it out all along, but along the way it got stuck as if it would never succeed or come to pass if you don't commit a little sin to help things work, if you don't tell little lie, if you don't reduce your age to get the job or appointment, if you don't adjust your information to get the papers and document done, if you don't compromise to keep the job or the possession, if you don't permit per-marital sex to keep the relationship, if you don't please people to get their favor, if you don't give the bribe to complete the process. "Look, everything will fall apart except you do something now, you can't say you trust God and fold your hands here, heaven helps those who help themselves. If you don't do this, you will miss everything, the life time golden opportunity.

"There is nothing wrong doing it, it is just to help what God has promised and started in your life, everything works together for God's glory, He understands." That is what Satan and people around you will suggest to you in such situation, even believers, even pastors. But it's left to you to either trust God fully and let His will be done in your life or you turn foolish like Uzza in attempt to help God to perfect what He started in your life.

When God promises or proceeds something in your life, you must trust Him to perfect it. When things gets tough and stocked or stopped along the way, just keep trusting God, don't lean on your understanding, don't be foolish like Uzza in the name of helping things out. Don't follow the multitude of ungodly counsel. God who promised, who started the good work will surely perfect it in His own way, with a better one even if the one you expected does not work; it is a test of your faith, God want to see if you really love and trust Him like Abraham who gave his Isaac, and like David who refused to kill Saul to help God's plan come to pass in his life. When we trust God with all our hearts, He turns disappointment to reappointment.

If you are a child of God, you need to answer two these questions:
(1) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

(2) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or unclothedness, or peril, or sword?

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:31, 35, 38-39.

Prayer
LORD God, You are our Father, our Redeemer and our Helper, help us to trust and look unto You always for help. LORD, help us to reject ungodly suggestions and benefits; no matter the condition, to trust You always, no matter the trials or threats. We ask in Jesus name. Amen

WHEN HEAVEN OPENS
2 Kings 7:19, “Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said, “Now look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?”

Open heaven has become a common topic in Christianity and Churches today, several church programs are titled “Open heaven” , books, devotions and others are tagged with “Open heaven”. Many Christians even pray the prayer of open heaven, asking God to open their heavens. But it seems that much as many people delight in open heaven, only few people really understand what it means for heaven to open.

From Genesis to Revelation, there were occurrences of the experience of heaven or windows of heaven being opened. In the Bible, there are promises and predictions of open heaven by God, since He is the only One who has the keys to open heaven. From the light of the Bible, open heaven brings two things, meaning, when heaven opens, either of the two things – blessing or judgment. What we receive when heaven opens depends on us, on the way we have been responding to the word of God. Open heaven is not an automatic blessing or synonymous to blessing; open heaven can bring you abundant blessing or abundant judgment, depending on you.

OPEN HEAVEN OF JUDGMENT
Genesis 7:11, 12, “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.”

The first experience of open heaven in the history of the world was during the time of Noah, this open heaven was not a pleasant one, because it did not bring blessing, but fierce judgment upon the disobedient. After the generation turned wicked before God and refused to repent and obey God, then God opened heaven and poured rain of judgment for forty days and forty nights. There can be rain of blessing and also rain of judgment when heaven opens. This first open heaven experience on earth destroyed the whole generation except Noah and his household.

Another experience of open heaven after Noah was also an open heaven of judgment. God rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah. In Genesis 19:24, 25, “ Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.”

It is a good thing to pray for open heaven, but it is better to first open up your heart to God in total obedience before you wish heaven opens on you. Open heaven of God without open heart to God brings judgment of God.

Believing God’s word leads to obedience to God’s word, and that leads to blessing abundantly. But on the other hand, disbelieving God’s word brings disobedience to God’s word, which leads to judgment of God.

In the time of Elisha when there was a severe famine, king Joram’s right-hand man disbelieved and scoffed God’s word when Elisha said there would be plenty of food within 24 hours. This officer would not believe and trust God’s word for open heaven of blessing, so he experienced judgment from the open heaven; while others feasted, he was trampled to death. 2 Kings 7:17, 18.

God said, ““This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” There are two commandments of God from this statement: 1, Accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God, Savior of the world. 2, Obey Jesus Christ, meaning surrender your life to Him and live to please Him in godliness, righteousness and truth. Failure to obey both will only lead to judgment of God. If you reject Jesus as the Savior, you are destined for God’s judgment; if you refuse to surrender your total life to Jesus in holiness after you have known Him as the Savior, you are doomed for eternal judgment of God.

Isaiah 24:18, “And it shall be
That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be caught in the snare;
For the windows from on high are open,
And the foundations of the earth are shaken.”

OPEN HEAVEN OF BLESSING
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today…… The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.” Deuteronomy 28:1, 12

The windows of heaven can open and pour blessings upon us when we trust and obey God. Trusting God for what He says, and obeying what He says are the only means by which we can experience blessing when heaven opens. Obedience to God’s word always attract blessing from heaven. When a Christian prays, “Father, let my heaven open” if such Christian is living against God’s word and disobeying God’s commands, though heaven will surely open, because he demands for it, but it will only bring judgment. When we read God’s promises of open heaven, there is always commands attached to it, it is when such commands from God are obeyed that heaven will pour down blessing.

Malachi 3:10, “……And try Me now in this,”
Says the LORD of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.”

In the Book of Malachi, God promised open heaven on the condition of obedience to His Word - trusting God with our money and paying out tithes. But this is not the only condition of experiencing open heaven, there are more weightier commandments of God than paying tithes, so if someone pays his tithes but does not live a righteous and holy life, the open heaven will not bring blessing. There were group of people in the Bible who were faithfully paying tithes but they were unfaithful in pleasing God, and so they were condemned.

Matthew 23:23, ““Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.”

If you fulfill the righteousness of paying tithes but fail to fulfill the righteousness of presenting yourself as a holy and living sacrifice, then your tithes and offerings are baseless.

Jesus Christ experienced open heavens in His earthly ministry after He fulfilled all righteousness.
Matthew 3:15-17, “But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Open heaven brings blessing when we obey God’s word and fulfill His will.

THE ULTIMATE OPEN HEAVEN
There have been several open heavens since the beginning of this world, but there is an ultimate open heaven coming upon the whole world. This will serve as grand finale open heaven, Jesus Christ and His angelic armies will stream into the world. As open heaven brings blessing and judgment, so it will be at this ultimate open heaven. There will first be open heaven of rapture for the obedient children of God, and then another open heaven of second coming of Jesus Christ for judgment on the disobedient.

Revelation 19:11, “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.”

Like the people in the time of Noah, many are scoffing and disbelieving this upcoming great event , so they have no reason to obey and prepare. Apostle Peter warned about such people:

“knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” 2 Peter 3:3-7

You will not have cause to obey God’s word and keep yourself pure if you do not believe that Jesus is coming soon to take His obedient children to a blessed heaven, and to judge the sinners and careless Christians into eternal damnation. You may also echo with the king’s officer that, “even if the Lord should open windows of heavens, could this happens?” How can it be possible that this beautiful world will be thrown into hell fire? How can God pour billions of people into hell fire? Unbelievable! This sounds like a joke. That was how it seemed like joke to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah.

When the angels of God instructed Lot to warn the Sodomites that God would soon open the windows of heaven and rain fire and brimstone on them, it was like a joke. “So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.” Genesis 19:14.

It was a matter of time, the joke became reality to them, but too late to repent. Genesis 19:24, 25, “Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.”

You should not be another victim of unbelief for destruction, it is better to learn from the history and be wise. God has made Jesus Christ to be an atonement for the whole world. Jesus is coming back again to justify His obedient saints and judge the disobedient sinners. For the obedient believers, the coming of Jesus will bring so much blessing that we “will not have room enough for it” But for the unbelievers and careless Christians, it will bring utter ruin and misery that will be so much unbearable. Matthew 13:42, 43 “And will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

If you are part of the unbelievers who reject Jesus as their Lord, you are in a dangerous team. And also if you are part of Christians who do not believe in holiness, without which no one will see God, if you think no need for restitution after salvation, if you think there is no need for total holiness and righteousness, then you are in serious danger; if you are part of the prosperity Christians who do not see purity of life as necessity for believer, if you are part of the Christians who believe in grace without holiness, who believe in claiming righteousness without living righteous, then you are part of the end time scoffers of holiness and godliness for God’s judgment.

THE ULTIMATE BLESSING!
The ultimate blessing you can experience in your life is genuine salvation of your soul and following Christ in total obedience. You can make your experience of open heaven to be a blessed and blissful experience, no matter your past and present; all you need is to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord, repent, confess and surrender your life to Him. And after that, you start a new life in Him.

1 John 1:8, 9, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

DOES HELL REALLY EXIST? Scientific & Biblical Clearing!

What you're about to read is hard to believe. . .

“AND IN HELL, HE LIFTED UP HIS EYES, BEING IN TORMENTS…..” Luke 16:23
several years ago a book was published titled Beyond Death's Door by Dr Maurice Rawlings. Dr Rawlings, a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, resuscitated many people who had been clinically dead. Dr Rawlings, a devout atheist, "considered all religion "hocus-pocus" and death nothing more than a painless extinction". But something happened in 1977 that brought a dramatic change in the life of Dr Rawlings! He was resuscitating a man, terrified and screaming — descending down into the flames of hell:

"Each time he regained heartbeat and respiration, the patient screamed, "I am in hell!" He was terrified and pleaded with me to help him. I was scared to death. . . Then I noticed a genuinely alarmed look on his face. He had a terrified look worse than the expression seen in death! This patient had a grotesque grimace expressing sheer horror! His pupils were dilated, and he was perspiring and trembling — he looked as if his hair was "on end."

Then still another strange thing happened. He said, "Don't you understand? I am in hell. . . Don't let me go back to hell!" . . .the man was serious, and it finally occurred to me that he was indeed in trouble. He was in a panic like I had never seen before." (Maurice Rawlings, Beyond Death's Door,(Thomas Nelson Inc., 1979) p. 3).

Dr Rawlings said, no one, who could have heard his screams and saw the look of terror on his face could doubt for a single minute that he was actually in a place called hell!

". . . THEY DIG INTO THE HELL . . ." Amos 9:2
Another scientist Dr Azzacove Picks from Dr Rawling with this stunning revelation. He says "As a communist I don’t believe in heaven or the Bible but as a scientist I now believe in hell," said Dr Azzacove. "Needless to say we were shocked to make such a discovery. But we know what we saw and we know what we heard. And we are absolutely convinced that we drilled through the gates of Hell!"

Dr Azzacove continued, ". . .the drill suddenly began to rotate wildly, indicating that we had reached a large empty pocket or cavern. Temperature sensors showed a dramatic increase in heat to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit."

"We lowered a microphone, designed to detect the sounds of plate movements down the shaft. But instead of plate movements we heard a human voice screaming in pain! At first we thought the sound was coming from our own equipment."

"But when we made adjustments our worst suspicions were confirmed. The screams weren’t those of a single human, they were the screams of millions of humans! (These details are from the translation of an article in a Finnish newspaper name 'Ammennusatia'.

Do you know why Jacques Costeau, the famous underwater explorer, quit deep sea diving sometime before he died? It is said that he stopped because he had heard in one of the underwater caves he was exploring, the sounds of people screaming.

There was also another time, when one of his men, who was in a diving bell in the deepest trench at the Bermuda Triangle, also had a similar experience. He signalled to be brought up immediately. After being revived from his shock, he told others of his frightening experience of hearing people's screams while under the deepest part of the sea.

The Bible continually warns of a place called hell. There are over 162 references in the New Testament alone which warns of hell. And over 70 of these references were uttered by the Lord Jesus Christ!

In Luke 16, Jesus Christ gives a frightening picture of hell:
22 . . . the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father�s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. (Luke 16:22-28)

HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE
The man in Luke 16:24 cries: ". . .I am tormented in this FLAME."
In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

In Matthew 25:41, Jesus says: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting FIRE,. . ."
Revelation 20:15 says, " And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE."

THE BIBLE GIVES THE LOCATION OF HELL
When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He descended into hell. In Acts 2, Peter is speaking, verse 31, " . . . seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in HELL" When Jesus Christ died His soul went into hell.

And in Matthew 12:40, Jesus Christ says: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH. "The Bible is clear — Hell is inside the earth!

Ephesians 4:9, says of Jesus: "Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH."

On page 85 of Beyond Death Door, Dr. Rawlings writes patients who described hell said, ". . . this place seems to be UNDERGROUND or WITHIN THE EARTH in some way." Scientist and Bible teacher, Henry Morris also agrees the Bible plainly teaches that hell is in this earth:
"So far as we can tell from Scripture, the present hell, is somewhere in the heart of the earth itself. It is also called 'the pit' (Isa. 14:9, 15: Ezek. 32:18-21) and 'the abyss' (Rev. 9:2). . .

The writers certainly themselves believed hell to be real and geographically 'beneath' the earth's surface. . .

To say this is not scientific is to assume science knows much more about the earth's interior than is actually the case. The great 'pit' [hell] would only need to be about 100 miles or less in diameter to contain, with much room to spare, all the forty billion or so people who have ever lived, assuming their 'spiritual' bodies are the same size as their physical bodies." (Henry M. Morris, The Bible Has the Answer, p. 220)

The Birmingham News, April 10, 1987 had an article entitled "Earth's Center Hotter Than Sun's Surface, Scientists Say". The article stated that scientists have recently discovered, "THE EARTH'S INNER CORE HAS A TEMPERATURE OF OVER 12,000 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT!"

Have you seen pictures of a volcano erupting, spewing a lake of fire from inside the earth — consuming everything within miles just from the heat? When Mount St. Helens erupted in May 18, 1980, it was described by reporters, "When HELL surfaced upon the earth." The book, Volcanoes, Earth's Awakening (p.91) describes an erupting volcano as "descent into HELL".

YES! THERE IS A PLACE CALLED HELL!
In Numbers 16, the Bible gives the account of people falling into hell alive! "And THE EARTH OPENED HER MOUTH, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive INTO THE PIT, and the EARTH CLOSED UPON THEM:" Numbers 16:32-33

Caspar Peucer, a famous fourteenth century astronomer and physician, who also researched and documented the volcanoe eruptions at Heklafell wrote some very frightening information in his research findings. Peucer, claims (as others) that "fearful howlings, weeping and gnashing of teeth" could be heard "for many miles. . ." as these volcanoes erupted: "Out of the bottomless abyss of Heklafell, or rather out of Hell itself, rise melancholy cries and loud wailings, so that these can be heard for many miles around . . . there may be heard in the mountain fearful howlings, weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Haraldur Sigurdsson, Melting the Earth, The History of Ideas on Volcanic Eruptions, p. 73)

And Caspar Peucer is not alone. There are others who believe they have heard "cries and screaming" coming from volcanoes. Most have tried to ignore the obvious. Some simply explain the "sounds of hell" to some rational meaning. But they are there. . ."The fearsome noises that issued from some of their volcanoes were certainly thought to be the screams of tormented souls in the fires of hell below". (Haraldur Sigurdsson, Melting the Earth, The History of Ideas on Volcanic Eruptions, p. 73)
Inside this earth, this very moment, there are millions of lost, tormented souls — burning, weeping, wailing — without any hope whatsoever!

In Mark 9:46, Jesus Christ says about hell: "Where THEIR WORM dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

Jesus said explicitly — THEIR worm — not a worm, or the worm — but THEIR worm. The Bible teaches that Christians will one day have a body like the Lord Jesus Christ. Scientists recently discovered cracks on the ocean floor where fire was leaking out. Do you know what they found around these fire-breathing vents in the crust? Eight-foot long worms, found no other place in the world! The book, The Deep Sea, by Joseph Wallace (p.39), reads, "Perhaps the strangest of ocean creatures recently discovered are Riftia, the giant tube WORMS. Measuring up to 8 feet in length, the worms are ONLY FOUND NEAR DEEP SEA VENTS."

And Jesus Christ said, "Where THEIR WORM dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."
National Geographic magazine truthfully titled their story on Volcanoes "Going To Hell". When PBS did a series on The Savage Earth, one episode was titled "Hell's Crust: Our Everchanging Planet". Everything we know. Everything we observe. Echoes the truth of a place called hell.

Nature magazine recently discovered (July 2002) what the Bible knew over 3,000 years ago. Inside this earth is "fire and brimstone": "Volcanoes may be more like hell than anyone realized. Eruptions disgorge streams of molten sulphur, the brimstone of evangelical preachers, which burns up before it can be preserved for posterity, new research in the journal Geology shows". (Nature, Science Update, July 22, 2002)

HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT
Jesus says of the man in Luke 16:
23 "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENTS. . . "
24 ". . . for I am TORMENTED in this FLAME."
28 ". . .PLACE OF TORMENT."
It is humanly impossible to comprehend the Bible description of hell. Nothing on earth can compare with it. No nightmare could produce a terror to match that of hell. No horror movie could describe it�s fright. No crime scene with all it�s blood and gore could begin to match it�s horror.
It will be beyond anything humanly imaginable!

The Bible warns in Psalm 9:17, you will not only be in hell — you will BE TURNED INTO HELL! You will literally BE HELL! “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17

The Bible describes it as weeping (Matt 8:12), wailing (Matt 13:42), gnashing of teeth (Matt 13:50), darkness (Matt 25:30), flames (Luke 16:24), burning (Isa 33:14), torments (Luke 16:23), everlasting punishment! Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."

In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

HELL IS FOREVER!
Rev. 14:11: "The smoke of their TORMENT ascendeth up for EVER AND EVER: and they have NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT." Just look how the Bible warns of the eternity and permanence of hell:

everlasting fire - Matthew18:8, 25:41
everlasting punishment - Matthew 25:46
everlasting chains-Jude 1:6
eternal damnation -Mark 3:29
eternal judgment -Hebrews 6:2
eternal fire -Jude 1:7
unquenchable fire - Matthew 3:12
the fire that never shall be quenched -Mark 9:43, 44, 45, 46, 48
fire unquenchable - Luke 3:17
mist of darkness is reserved for ever - 2 Peter 2:17
the blackness of darkness for ever - Jude 1:13

What could possibly be worth eternity in hell? No wonder Jesus Christ warned so much about hell! No wonder Jesus said in Mark 8:36, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and LOSE HIS OWN SOUL?"

Hebrews 9:27 says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGEMENT"
Friend, it is appointed unto man once to die . . . and one day — YOU will die . . .
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments . . .

But God is a God of LOVE. . . Why would a GOD OF LOVE send me to hell? Yes, God is a GOD OF LOVE — but God is also a HOLY GOD. A HOLY GOD demands payment for sin. Otherwise God would NOT and could NOT be HOLY.

Because God is holy — sin MUST be condemned. Joshua 24:19 says, ". . he is an HOLY GOD;. . . he will NOT forgive your transgressions nor your sins."

BUT FRIEND I HAVE GOOD NEWS!
God does NOT want you in hell because hell was not made for man. Matthew 25:41 says, hell was, ". . . prepared for the devil and his angels:"

Because God is a GOD OF LOVE, and He LOVED YOU so much, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to die a cruel death on a cross to pay the price a HOLY GOD demands for your sins.
Roman 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God does not send someone to hell. You choose hell when you reject Jesus Christ. When you refuse God's love gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ. . .

Millionaire Ted Turner, said in an interview,” I’m looking forward to dying and being cast into Hell. That's where I belong." You say —a fool! But friend, when you say "No" to Jesus Christ and His payment for your sin — you are saying the same thing! "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, repent from all your sins, confess and forsake them, become a new creature in Jesus and you will be saved from the terror of hell.

WHAT IS SECRET SIN?
"in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel." Romans 2:16

Secret sin occurs in the life of a person who has experienced salvation of Jesus Christ, who has confessed and repented from sins, but along the way keeps one or few sins secret. Secret sin hinders many Christians from moving forward in their spiritual growth, it blocks Christians from experiencing the power, anointing and blessings of God. Secret sin can be by an individual Christian or involve two or more Christians. Secret sin can be in a Christian family, group or church.

There are two types of secret sin: Past and present, or now and then.

PAST BUT PRESENT
....in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ. Romans 2:16.

Past but present secrets sins are some sins you committed before you gave your life to Jesus, or before you rededicated your life to Jesus, though you have repented and confessed it to God, and you have stopped it, but you are keeping it secret from men. Secret sin is a sin you keep secret, even if it is in the past, even if it has stopped, but as long you keep is secret from men, it is a secret sin - though it is in the past but it is presently haunting you and standing against you. As long you keep a past sin secret, what you are actually doing is that you are making it fresh and present.

It is not every sin committed in the past we must be confessing around, but there are some peculiar ones which we may deliberately cover, and have to be uncovered.

Until you open up every secret sin of the past to the necessary people, until you confess to the necessary people and put the sin and Satan to open shame, you are still under the bondage of that past sin. After you are saved, you committed sin and you rededicated your life to Jesus, then you will still have to open up to some people. For example, a premarital sex, but you both have repented and now married, yet, you need to confess.

Listen to what Apostle Paul said, "But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God." 2 Corinthians 4:2.

From this above Bible verse, Paul did three things which every child of God must do:

1, He renounced the hidden things - those sinful and sinful things of the past were repented and rejected by Paul.

2, He manifested that truth by making it clear to men, "but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience." This is by confessing to the necessary people about the sinful and shameful things we did in the past, though we have renounced them, but we must make them clear to the right people. Many Christians are being deceived by Satan that, since they have confessed to God, no need to confess to their parents, partner, pastor, or boss; they say, "I have confessed and stopped it, so I have a pure conscience before God, and that is all." Beloved, having a pure conscience before God is good, but not enough, you need to have a pure conscience before men too. Paul said, "but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience".

3, He manifested that truth to God, "but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God." He totally repented and never gone back to such sins again, even when no man would see him, even when men would say it does not matter or it is not bad. Paul said he is now commending himself to every man's conscience in the sight of God. He knew God saw everything, and he lived in truth before God according to God's standard, not church's standard.

Until you make clear the past before God and men, your past sins are still presently fresh.

PRESENT AND PERVERTED
Another secret sin is a sin you commit and hide after you are saved, the sin you are secretly committing which you do not want people to see; but even men do not see, God sees. Anything you do secretly which you do not want people to see or hear, that you know it will not honor you if people know, that is secret sin. It may be an habit like masturbation, fornication, or other sexual immorality; it may be other sins which you are committing and keeping secretly. It may also be a lifestyle which you keep secret from people, like drinking, smoking, lying, anger, jealousy, malice, etc.

If you keep any secret sin of any form, such sin will be following you till the day of judgment, it will hinder you from making the rapture, and from entering heaven. But if you open up now before God and men, then that sin will go ahead of you to judgment, it will be condemned by God's mercy and you will be justified. But as long you keep it secret because of the fear of what people will say or how they will respond, the sin continues to quietly follow you to put you to eternal shame on the judgment day.

So what is your decision? Do you want to open up and put your sins to open shame or you want to cover up and allow your sin to put you to open and eternal shame? No matter how small the sin may be, it will surely find you out on the judgment day. The choice is your!

1 Timothy 5:24, "Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later."

HOW TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GOD & GROW IN HIM
"There are unknowns that are known to be unknowns that are never known but are known to be unknown."

“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits.” Hebrews 6: 1-3

After you give your life to Jesus, you need to know about Him and grow in Him, and the only source is through the Word of God with prayer. If you don't grow in the Lord, you will go back to the world. The following steps will help you to grow in the Lord:

READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY - At least 2 chapter. Don't just swallow everything they preach in your church without you searching and confirming in the Bible, don’t depend on what any one teaches you alone, but let the Holy Spirit Himself teach you further and deeper from the Bible.

Acts 17:11“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”

MEDITATE ON THE BIBLE YOU READ - Don't just read the Bible and go your way, but you need to take time to meditate on what you read. It is by waiting on the Lord after reading through meditation, that you get the meaning for what you read. If you just read and rush out, you will not really understand and you will not be fruit.

Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

PRAY THE WORD INTO YOUR LIFE – Take time to pray on the Word of God you read. Prayer after reading Bible is like taking water after eating; to water the seed of the Word. You wonder why the Word is not really fruitful in your life as desired? No enough watering by prayer. When the Psalmist talked about “tree planted by the rivers of water”, the water is prayer that helps the seed of the Word to be fruitful.
Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

APPLY WHAT YOU READ INTO YOUR LIFE – Be diligent to apply the Word of God into your life in your daily activities: how you talk, how you react to people and situation; how you behave, how you do your daily business, how you dress, what you watch music you listen to, let the Word of God guide you in everything you do. This is really the subject matter, this is the purpose of reading Bible, meditating and praying - apply it into your life and be fruitful.

James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

May we be fruitful and be blessed in the Lord as we grow in Him everyday!

UNDERSTANDING RESTITUTION ( Part III - The concluding part )

This is the concluding part of the Study about Restitution, the first part treated what restitution is all about, why a child of God must do restitution and consequences of unsettled restitution. WRONG NOTIONS ABOUT RESTITUTION
So many Christians and pastors, especially the modern day pastors and lost ministers, do not have the biblical understanding of God’s command about restitution, they see it as unnecessary and they teach just that. They say when you are saved, God forgives your sins and that settles all without restitution. What that mean is that you can keep using what you stole before you were saved, you can keep covering the evil you did before you were saved, but the truth is that Christians who believe such will not want people to do so to them. You will not want your wife to keep hide serious secret from after she is saved, if she excuses, "I did not tell you because God has forgiven me" Will such excuse justify why your wife covered up premarital son until you found out yourself? So it is applicable to people who hide under the self deception that, "I have confessed to God and that settles it"

Such people will not want their husband who left them with children for strange women to continue staying with the strange women after the husbands are saved; they will want the husbands to do restitution by returning and apologizing. Pastors who say restitution is of no use will not want their wives to continue keeping secrets from them even after their wives are saved. Christians who disagree with restitution will not want the thieves who stole their only cars or life’s precious belongings to keep them after the thieves are saved; they will definitely want the thieves to return them, they might even be praying that God should touch their hearts.

If a dubious person ganged against you and used his influence to claim your developing housing property which you have spent all your hard earned money to build, after the dubious person is saved, wouldn’t you expect him to come back to you, at least to apologize?

Restitution is infallible truth of Christianity that cannot be biblically or reasonably denied, it is soul depravity and self deception that make “so called” preachers to ignore or deny restitution after salvation. If you go to such people for counsel, they will counsel you wrongly and cancel your life. Such preachers can tell you to just forget about it since God has forgiven you, they may tell you to fast and forget about it, they may tell you to give special offerings, sow into their ministries and God will pardon you. But the truth is that there is no substitution for restitution expects to restitute. You can contact us at RTEM for godly counsel on restitution or any genuine and godly preachers or people you may know that have biblical understanding about restitution.

God has used this ministry to guide and counsel several people on restitution, many people have done unbelievable restitution in their marriages, schools, workplace, etc. So far in my experience, no single restitution has broken any marriage, but rather strengthen their marriage, because God makes everything work together for good. You will not want to miss the peace of mind and presence of God you will experience after you do the right thing.

If you attend any of these prosperity, modern churches, be sure they will not give you needed encouragement for holiness.

Restitution is biblical command only for the saved children of God, it’s not an option.

HOW TO DO RESTITUTION
Restitution is urgently important but then all restitution, either simple or serious, must be done the following manners:

(i) Prayer - Pray for God’s grace, favor and then take a move. You can also share with godly people to pray along with you.

(i) Godly counsel. You need godly, unbiased counsel for restitution from godly ministers who have biblical understanding about restitution.

(ii) Humility - Know that when you are restituting – maybe returning something, revealing something, restoring something, etc, you are actually doing yourself, your soul, your life a favor not the person you are doing the restitution to. So you must do it with a humble spirit no matter your position or the level of the person, not arrogantly.

(iii) ) Restitution must be done “now” without delay because you may not have “later”. Satan will always suggest that you postpone, delay or even defy the restitution so that he can destroy you forever. As previously said, undone restitution can hinder you from making the Rapture, causing untimely death, hinder you from entering heaven; as well hinder your prayer and blessing.

Restitution is more important than your service to God, than your offerings, your prayers, fasting or your business and work. It determines your better life and eternity. In doing restitution, you may suffer loss, shame, even death but it worth more than that. Don’t allow Satan or anyone to scare you, God is right with you and He will definitely see you through to the end. Look ahead at the joy, blessing and glorious eternal rewards, look at Jesus! Don’t look at the present, temporal pain but at the eternal, permanent gain!

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:28-33.

UNDERSTANDING RESTITUTION ( Part 2)

THE BLESSINGS OF RESTITUTION
Judges 17:1-2. Now there was a man from the mountains of Ephraim, whose name was Micah. 2 And he said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, and on which you put a curse, even saying it in my ears—here is the silver with me; I took it.” And his mother said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my son!

There are many blessings that follow after restitution is done, here are few of them:

Peace with Men
In our past old life, we wronged God and men, when we are saved, we make peace with God and so we must complete the process of peace by making peace with people. People we fought, we offended, or harmed before we were saved must be contacted and apologized to. People we had rancor, malice and animosity with must be settled with, even if we think they wronged us, even if we have decided not to greet them again, yet we must make peace with them for the sake of peace and to remove the bitterness, malice and others so that we don’t give room to the devil in our new lives in Christ. “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men” Romans 12:18

People you are living with, working with, schooling with; family members, friends and neighbors, every one we had issues with, as much as we can, we should settle peacefully with them.
When we make peace with all men, both right and wrong, it confirms our peace with God, it gives us peace and it’s the only way to see God, to enter heaven. “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” Hebrews 12:14. When we settle with people peacefully, it shows we are truly children of God, the King of Peace; Jesus the Prince of Peace and we, the children of peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9.

It Settles Old Accounts
Restitution is to settle our old accounts and close them. If you are saved and you have not made some past wrongs right by restitution, it simply means you keep your old account open which may stand against you here on earth and eventually disallow you to enter heaven. Undone restitution has the capacity to block God’s blessing in your life here on earth and block you from entering Heaven. The old records which stand against you can only be settled and closed by restitution. “Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.” 1 Timothy 5:24.

It confirms your new life in Jesus Christ
In different online and phone transaction, after you have sent your desired transaction, you will be asked to confirm your transaction. If you fail to “just” confirm, thinking since you have filled all the forms, supplied all the needed information and it has been sent and accepted, you think to confirm again is of no use, your transaction will be invalid and will not be processed. The same is in reality with restitution. After you have repented and confessed your sin to God and He has forgiven, cleansed and accepted you, you need to respond back to confirm your salvation by restitution. Think about it, if I were your neighbor and I stole your stuffs in past and using them. You knew and just kept quiet, then later I got saved and come to preach to you and still using what I stole from you, how will you feel? Restitution is a reality for every regenerated child of God.

It turns curses to blessings
Many curses in life are caused by wrong things that was done in past, and many problems facing children of God after they have been saved are not because the enemies are powerful over their lives in Christ but because they allow the old curses to have access to their new lives because of ignoring necessary restitution they need to do. Undone restitution allows the unsettled wrong of your past to haunt your present life even though you are now a child of God. You give access to Satan, enemies, generational curses and many attacks when you refuse to do needed restitution. This can also block the free flow of God’s blessing, progress and God’s promises for your life.

Undone restitution gives Satan to accuse you and oppose you in the present of God. Most of the problems making us to do fasting, special prayers, deliverance and attend several programs and the problems remain the same; those problems can be solved if we do simple acts of apologizing, forgiving or any necessary restitution as the case may be, and that end the mountainous problems, and that begins the progress and prosperity in your life, marriage and ministry. “And he said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, and on which you put a curse, even saying it in my ears—here is the silver with me; I took it.” And his mother said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my son!” Judges 17:2. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

It Gives Blessed Assurance
When restitution is settled, you have peace, you have more confidence in the Lord and you have assurance of heaven. Satan will not have anything to hold against you and you will have that strong boldness in your prayer. Here is what the Word of God says, “And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” 1 John 3:19-22.

DrummaBoy: Thank you Gombs for inviting me to this discussion. I will just speak as God gives Me liberty in spirit.

First two stories. Where I did my Youth Service, I lived in a Deeper Life Community. Listening to the messages, I noticed they paid a lot of attention on restitution. They had scriptures for them. I didn't mind it bc thanks to God I had no skeleton in my cupboard. But sometimes I couldn't help thinking if the practice was healthy at all.

Before going for service, I became friends with a Christian brother. This sincere brother was in real trouble. He had entered the University with fake result or something to that effect. He became a Christian and decided to restitute. He gave himself up to the school authorities. He was denied graduating even after providing a new result he had sat for. After two or three years since his mate graduated, the University pardoned him and he was let go.

I am certain many people have different reactions to that story. My own reaction is that God should never bring a temptation my way I cannot endure.

Back to restitution: I see it in two lights.

1. It is not neccesary. Why? Because of the blood of Jesus. Our Lord and Father FORGIVES AND FORGETS. So what's there to restitute? What those who teach restitution should teach is THE POWER IN THE BLOOD. Dassal!

2. There is a proper place for it.

Preachers must beware that they do not become Holy Spirit to people. The vast majority of what people do in church today is bc a preacher told them to do it. People tithe today and you ask them why, they say God told them to. What they do not tell you is that they have heard Malachi preached so much they begin to hear voices in their brains.

Same goes with restitution. When you listen to a message like that of the OP, you cannot but begin to think.

What we do not realize is that the converted Christian has God within him. He has God's laws written on his heart. He can be led of the Spirit too. Preaching is not telling people what to do, preaching is leading men to God to hear him for themselves. Jesus said blessed are our eyes and ears for they see and hear.

Having said that, IN VERY RARE OCCASIONS, it might be necessary to restitute. But it won't be bc someone preached on restitution or because one is guilt tripped to do it, it would be bc God the Holy Spirit instructed his son to do so. Even in such a case, the Christian should discuss the matter first with a sound Pastor and receive his agreement to go ahead. If its an action that would hurt more people than heal a few, it might be better left undone.

To wrap it up, let all Christians know God for themselves. Let them know what he requires of them and let's all stop this baby Christianity of sit down, stand up, don't go, go, etc. Let's come up to maturity as we rejoice first in what God had done for us in Christ Jesus, love him and live for him. If in the process we are instructed by him to do anything, let it be of free motivation from our hearts and not bc someone guilt tripped us to doing anything.

1Corinthians 8 talks of some who wound the tender conscience of God children; he says when they do this they sin against Christ. No one is god to anyone; we are all brethren; if we had enough sense to hear him call us to living faith with him, we should have enough sense to allow him lead us.

UNDERSTANDING RESTITUTION ( Part 2)

THE BLESSINGS OF RESTITUTION
Judges 17:1-2. Now there was a man from the mountains of Ephraim, whose name was Micah. 2 And he said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, and on which you put a curse, even saying it in my ears—here is the silver with me; I took it.” And his mother said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my son!

There are many blessings that follow after restitution is done, here are few of them:

Peace with Men
In our past old life, we wronged God and men, when we are saved, we make peace with God and so we must complete the process of peace by making peace with people. People we fought, we offended, or harmed before we were saved must be contacted and apologized to. People we had rancor, malice and animosity with must be settled with, even if we think they wronged us, even if we have decided not to greet them again, yet we must make peace with them for the sake of peace and to remove the bitterness, malice and others so that we don’t give room to the devil in our new lives in Christ. “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men” Romans 12:18

People you are living with, working with, schooling with; family members, friends and neighbors, every one we had issues with, as much as we can, we should settle peacefully with them.
When we make peace with all men, both right and wrong, it confirms our peace with God, it gives us peace and it’s the only way to see God, to enter heaven. “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” Hebrews 12:14. When we settle with people peacefully, it shows we are truly children of God, the King of Peace; Jesus the Prince of Peace and we, the children of peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9.

It Settles Old Accounts
Restitution is to settle our old accounts and close them. If you are saved and you have not made some past wrongs right by restitution, it simply means you keep your old account open which may stand against you here on earth and eventually disallow you to enter heaven. Undone restitution has the capacity to block God’s blessing in your life here on earth and block you from entering Heaven. The old records which stand against you can only be settled and closed by restitution. “Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.” 1 Timothy 5:24.

It confirms your new life in Jesus Christ
In different online and phone transaction, after you have sent your desired transaction, you will be asked to confirm your transaction. If you fail to “just” confirm, thinking since you have filled all the forms, supplied all the needed information and it has been sent and accepted, you think to confirm again is of no use, your transaction will be invalid and will not be processed. The same is in reality with restitution. After you have repented and confessed your sin to God and He has forgiven, cleansed and accepted you, you need to respond back to confirm your salvation by restitution. Think about it, if I were your neighbor and I stole your stuffs in past and using them. You knew and just kept quiet, then later I got saved and come to preach to you and still using what I stole from you, how will you feel? Restitution is a reality for every regenerated child of God.

It turns curses to blessings
Many curses in life are caused by wrong things that was done in past, and many problems facing children of God after they have been saved are not because the enemies are powerful over their lives in Christ but because they allow the old curses to have access to their new lives because of ignoring necessary restitution they need to do. Undone restitution allows the unsettled wrong of your past to haunt your present life even though you are now a child of God. You give access to Satan, enemies, generational curses and many attacks when you refuse to do needed restitution. This can also block the free flow of God’s blessing, progress and God’s promises for your life.

Undone restitution gives Satan to accuse you and oppose you in the present of God. Most of the problems making us to do fasting, special prayers, deliverance and attend several programs and the problems remain the same; those problems can be solved if we do simple acts of apologizing, forgiving or any necessary restitution as the case may be, and that end the mountainous problems, and that begins the progress and prosperity in your life, marriage and ministry. “And he said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, and on which you put a curse, even saying it in my ears—here is the silver with me; I took it.” And his mother said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my son!” Judges 17:2. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

It Gives Blessed Assurance
When restitution is settled, you have peace, you have more confidence in the Lord and you have assurance of heaven. Satan will not have anything to hold against you and you will have that strong boldness in your prayer. Here is what the Word of God says, “And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” 1 John 3:19-22.

Gombs: Finally a thread on restitution... I dnt think one should, 2 Corinthians 5 : 17 makes me don't have much savour for it, but what if the person who does wrong is already born again? He should then ask for forgiveness and refrain from such.

UNDERSTANDING RESTITUTION ( Part I )
Leviticus 6:4, “then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found”

One of the most important issues in Christian doctrines is restitution, it's what determines our eternity, what determines our relationship with Jesus after we are saved. Restitution is so important after Salvation that it has to be done immediately a person is genuinely saved. Salvation without restitution is half freedom and unconfirmed salvation.

The center of restitution is confession to men as the Bible commands us to confess to one another, but in a larger and clearer sense, restitution is restoring things wrongly acquired in old life of sin, returning what was wrongly taken or borrowed in the past; revealing lies, faked, falsified, fraudulent information and documents of past; reconciling with people we offended by apologizing and people who offended us by FORGIVING them; lastly it is also repaying debts we owed in the past which we refused to pay or forgot to pay. By reality, every child of God has at least one or two matter of restitution.

When you are truly saved and the Lord has forgiven and cleansed you from all your sins; the Spirit of God enters into your life, and immediately He begins to point to you what you need to amend and restitute. The First and Greatest Teacher of restitution after salvation is the HOLY SPIRIT, speaking to our mind, our conscience what to restore, reveal, and return and who to reconcile with. It’s spiritually natural after genuine salvation. If you are truly saved and nothing is ministered to your spirit to correct or confess to people, it means there is need for second touch to see clearly or you are blocking the speaking of the Spirit into your heart.

Everybody of us was born a sinner, grew in sin to a particular level before we become born again. Since nobody is sinless before salvation, every body has one or two restitution to do. Sin is offending God and man, when we come to Jesus, confess our sins to Him and ask Him to forgive us, He does just that. After God has forgiven and cleansed, then we reconcile with fellow men.

The most and first important thing is to settle and reconcile with God, every sinner is fighting with God, but when we come to God through Jesus, when we repent from all our sins, confess them and accept Jesus into our lives, we reconcile with God and that made us to be children of God Almighty instead of His enemies. Paul said, “Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.” Acts 23:1.

When we repent from our sins and confess them, we have good conscience before God, and that is the beginning of everything in our Christian lives. The salvation of our souls is the basic and foundation of Christian living, Christians without genuine salvation are religious Christians, not reckoned with God, and they are the majority in Christianity.

After our genuine salvation that gives good conscience before God, we move on to having same good conscience with men as a confirmation and evidence people will see. Apostle Paul furthered in Acts 24:16, “This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.” If truly we have a conscience without offense towards God, it will be also go towards men likewise. If God knows, men also will know. It is just like somebody saying “I love God” but he hates fellow men; how can he loves God he doesn’t see and at the same time hates fellow men he sees? Bible says such love is fake. The same is applicable with confession, when you confess to God you find it hard to confess to fellow men you that you can see, how genuine is that confession?

If you are afraid of what people will say or do if you confess, it means you fear men than God. You were not afraid to confess to Almighty God, Awesome God, All knowing God, who can kill and make alive; if you are not afraid to confess to that God fearful in praises, then why are you afraid to confess to fellow men? Here is what Jesus Christ says, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28. The worst men can do to you after restitution is to kill your “temporal” body but only God has the power to destroy that body and soul, only Him you should fear. Fear brings snares; fear ensnares people, even after they are saved, not to claim their total freedom in Christ through restitution. Why will you be afraid to confess the sin to creatures after you have confessed and settled with the CREATOR?

THE SNARES OF UNDONE RESTITUTION
Proverbs 29:25, “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.”

Refusing to do restitution is as a result of fear; fear of people and profit, you know or see so that you will not loose their favor, and you may also be afraid of loosing life’s profits – your position, possession, properties, popularity, prestige or papers. Yielding to such fear will hold you in perpetual snares of Satan after salvation. Here are some of the snares:

Snares of Persistent Sin
When restitution is not done immediately you are saved, you will keep telling lies to cover the past sins. For example, a wife who runs a secret bank account without the knowledge of the husband, and now she is saved, she needs to open up to her husband and reveals; but if she doesn’t, she will need to keep telling lies to cover up. If you are using a false certificate or travel documents, after you are saved, you need to open up, if not, you need more lies to keep those papers. And that is how it is applicable in every area of life if you don’t open up, you will need to keep telling lies, you will need to commit new and another sin for you to cover the past and old sins; so where is your freedom in Jesus?

Snares of Profits of Sin
The benefits of sin are bondage in disguise, and you might have gotten one or two before you were saved, and so after you are saved, the only means you can be free from those snares of the benefits of past sins is by restitution. You return or reveal those benefits. The papers you got by sinful means, the possessions you got in sinful manners and the properties, positions and prestige you gained by sinful way or in sinful life must by relinquished. If you, by mistake, keep those things it means you are still keeping yourself in the snares of Satan, because they belong to Satan, things got by sinful means belong to Satan.

Snares of Poisoned Minds
Before you were saved, you offended people and people offended you. Those you offended are holding it against you with their minds poisoned in the process; you are holding unforgiving poisoned mind against those who offended you, because what they did were terrible, right. After you are saved, you reconcile with people; you forgive from your heart those who offended you, and as much as possible you notify them. Likewise you strive as much as possible to apologize to those you wronged in the past. By so doing, you release yourself from the snares of offense and unforgiveness.

Snares of Unsettled Mind
Undone restitution brings uncertain and unsettled mind. As a child of God, if you are delaying a restitution, you will persistently have uncertainty about your eternity and unsettled mind even AFTER you have confessed all to God. That shows restitution is important to God, even after confessing to God, your mind will still be unrest until you confess to some people. You don’t need to deceive yourself and harden your heart in the present of persistent unsettled mind.

Snares of Satan’s Access and Accusation
After salvation, if necessary restitution is not done, Satan will be using that means to have access into your life and to accuse you before God. That will bring attacks from the enemies, spiritual stagnation and unanswered prayers. And it can also bring premature death. That is one of the reasons you see many Christians being tormented by satanic attacks, old curses and enemies, because their undone restitution give access to enemies into their lives and marriages.

Snares of Missing Heaven
If a child of God denies or delays restitution for any reason, and he or she dies in such situation, hell is their eternal abode, painful but period! Many children of God, ministers of God will miss rapture, not because they were not genuinely saved, not because they were not living righteous lives after salvation but because of undone, unsettled restitution as a result of fear of loosing people or earthly profits.

SATANIC SUGGESTIONS IN SERVING GOD
Every sinner is under the bondage of Satan, and everybody was born a sinner. But it would get to a point in your life that you may want to make a decision to surrender to Jesus and serve Him; at this point of time, your old task master, Satan, would not want to let you go. Since you have the power to decide and choose, he cannot force you down but he can suggest deceptive options to serve God.

When you accept any of his options to serve God, he keeps you in his bondage in your ignorance, thinking you are free from him. That was exactly the case with the children of Israel and Pharaoh; when the children of Israel were determined to go and serve God, and Pharaoh saw he could not hold them down any longer, then he gave them several options by which they could serve God, but Moses did not accept any of the Pharaoh suggestions.

You cannot serve God acceptably through satanic suggestion or option; for us to serve God acceptably, we must serve Him in accordance to His word and way, not in line with Satan options. So many people are seriously and zealously serving God today – in their personal lives and different churches, but they are ignorantly serving God in the ways of Satan, and so they are not recognized by God, and their services are not acceptable or rewardedable.

Here are some of the options and suggestions of Satan to serve God:

Remain In Your Sinful Bondage And Serve God
Exodus 8:25, “Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God in the land.”
Satan can tell you to remain in your sin and start serving God, that you can be a worker in the church, in choir and a minister, and still continue in your old way of life. Such service is an abomination to God. Pharaoh offered same thing to Moses, that the Israelites could serve God even in the land of Egypt that no need for them to leave the land because they want to serve God. But Moses was wise to reject such offer, “And Moses said, “It is not right to do so, for we would be sacrificing the abomination of the Egyptians to the Lord our God.” Exodus 8:26.

Any service unto God in sin is an abomination to God. Before you can serve God acceptably, you must first surrender your life to Jesus, forsake your sins and be cleansed.

Not Too Far
Exodus 8:28, “So Pharaoh said, “I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away. Intercede for me.”
When Satan sees you are determined to serve God and get free from his bondage, he will suggest, “If you want to go, you can, but you can still be coming around to visit here, so don't go too far.” That is satanic deception to keep you in perpetual bondage, knowing fully well that if you don’t go too far, you will still remain under his bondage.

To be free from Satan’s bondage, you must leave completely and go far. You must be far from sinful territory, sinful partners, properties, materials, music, movies and anything that will link you back to the old life of sin; until you do that, you are not yet free from the bondage of Satan. You must put sin and its elements far from you. Job 11:14, 15, "If iniquity were in your hand, and you put it far away, and would not let wickedness dwell in your tents; 15 Then surely you could lift up your face without spot; Yes, you could be steadfast, and not fear."

If you will want to be free totally, you must completely leave the tent of sin and old life.

After your salvation and rededication to the Lord, Satan will want you to still keep some sinful and worldly materials and relationship, to still be visiting once in a while the sinful people and places, but for you to go far with God in your new life, you must move far from the old life and people, else you will find yourself back in the vomit.

Half Bondage, Half Freedom
Exodus 10:11, "Not so! Go now, you who are men, and serve the Lord, for that is what you desired.” And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence."

Satan will tell you that you can leave some sins and still hold to some, and continue to serve God. When you dedicate your life to Jesus, Satan will differentiate some sins as serious and major, and some as simple and minor; that you can continue in some little sinful stuffs, that it doesn’t matter, "Since you have surrender the majors ones." That is the deception from the pit of hell. Every unrighteousness is sin, meaning sin is sin, and every sin, no matter how simple or minor, has the capacity to lead to hell if it is not repented and rejected. Satan will suggest half freedom, that you don't need to drop everything at once, that you can drop them gradually. But he knows there is nothing like half freedom or a better or trying Christian, it’s totally free or never free. If the Son of God shall set you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36.

Leaving Your Belongings In Bondage
Exodus 10:24, "Then Pharaoh called to Moses and said, “Go, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be kept back. Let your little ones also go with you.”

Satan can suggest that you can go and serve God but you can leave your belongings under his bondage of sin, that since you don’t drink again, you can still give your money to people to buy alcoholic drinks at ceremony; that since you don’t do ritual and traditional festival again, you can still send your money to them at village to do it or they will get mad at you; that since you are now a born again Christian, but you can still give money to your Muslim family to buy ram.

Satan would tell you, “Since you are now a child of God, and you don’t smoke or drink again, you can still invest your money to buy shares at beer Breweries, or you can still work at sinful companies like Breweries, Tobacco companies, Beer Parlor, etc. Such suggestions are from Satan to hold you in eternal bondage, because as long your belongings still remain in his territory, or you work at sinful producing companies, your heart will remain under his bondage, because where your belongings, money are, or where you get money, is where your heart will be. Matthew 6:21.

JESUS’ OFFER
Satan can suggest several ways to you to serve God, but it is unwise to take any of his suggestions, it is just like taking advice from your enemy on how to attack him. Jesus Christ is the Way, and He is pleading and soliciting to you to accept Him into your life and serve Him in His own way as clearly written in His Word, before it is too late forever. He says, “Come unto Me, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28.

To serve God acceptably, you must first surrender all to Him by realizing your sins and ready to forsake them. Then you confess them and ask Him to forgive you, cleanse you and save you. Then you start a new life in Him by following Him; you will detach yourself from the old things and people, you destroy all the sinful things in your life, and you delete the materials, music, movies, and memories of sinful connections. Then you can freely serve God in Christ Jesus, then you can go far and forward in your Christian life without rising and falling.

What are you waiting for?
Then what are you waiting for? Now you need to bring your life to Jesus and surrender it unto Him for His transformation and regeneration. You don’t need to delay further. You need to give your old life, polluted life up to Jesus so He can give you a brand new life in Him. Delay can be dangerous, do it now. Admit your sins, surrender all to Jesus, ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you. Accept Him to be the Lord of your life and determine to be pleasing Him and following Him for the rest of your life till you get to heaven, no turning back to sin and the sinful world.

You are about to experience unspeakable peace of divine touch, this is like never before! Just pray it in prayer now!

REPAIRING THE ALTAR OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE
1 Kings 18:30, “Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.”

Before you can experience the manifestation of God in your life, and before there can be fire of revival in your life, ministry and church, there is need to repair the altar of God in your life. The altar of
God in our lives is the level of our commitment, consecration and separation unto God – the center of our attention and priorities. We need to totally reconsecrate, recommit ourselves to God in repentance from all sins and to holiness; we need to separate ourselves from ungodliness, worldliness, compromise and care of this world.

To repair the altar, the first thing to do is REPENTANCE. 2 Chronicles
7:14, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” The second thing is SEPARATION. We must separate ourselves from sin, worldly attachments and the cares of this world.

1 Samuel 7:3, 4,
“Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return
to the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and
the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the LORD, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.” The third thing to do is CONSECRATION, to seek the Lord His word and prayer. Acts 6:4, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Then the fire will fall into our lives, our family, and ministries and in the church.

To keep the fire burning, there is need for COMMITMENT. We must commit ourselves into pleasing God, into holiness and righteousness. We must commit ourselves in LOVE for one another. Selfishness, self-centeredness, is cold water that quenches fire of God in lives and ministries. When the love of brethren waxes cold, the fire of revival is put out; disunity quenches the spirit and quickens self.

One of the major reasons there is no revival and fire of God in many
lives, many ministries and churches, even after they have consecrated themselves unto God, and separated themselves from sins; the reason is lack of love – selfishness. The fire of God can never fall or burn on the altar void of love. Love keeps the altar dry for fire to burn, without love for one another and sharing with one another, one cannot experience fire of revival no matter how prayerful or pure one is. Songs of Solomon 8:7.

In the Acts of Apostles, the church experienced continuous great
revival because of great love among them. Love does not come by just preaching love but by practicing love. Without practical love there can NEVER be the move of God’s power in a family or church, let them pray and fast for 120 days. The early church experienced mighty power of God in their services and fellowship not by long fasting but by love, sharing accomplished with holiness.

Acts 4:33-37
“And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. 36 And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, 37 having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the
apostles’ feet.”

Many Christians want the fire of God in their lives, many ministers greatly desire power of God to manifest in their ministrations and every church long for fire of revival, they take more time to pray and
pray and fast for it; some go to mountain, long days of fasting, different prayers and program for revival, but why are they not seeing their signs? It is because of selfishness and self-centeredness. If you are really ready for the fire of revival in your life, you will not allow the things of this world to attract you, will not be running after latest cars, phones and other stuffs; you will not be absorbed with earthly projects of buying or building houses that you will not be able to bountifully share with your brethren, family and friends.

The people in the Acts of Apostles sold their houses and land and
shared, but you are busy with how to buy and build and you want to
experience the same fire of God? It does not work that way.

Churches who claim holiness without love and sharing among themselves will never experience fire of revival in their midst.
1 John 4:7, “ Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God;
and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” As a child of God, when you freely share with all, you will definitely experience
the fire of revival in your life, family and ministry.

FIRE OF REVIVAL, SHOWERS OF RAIN
When there is revival in the land, in our lives, abundant of rain
ensued. Shower of rains of salvation, many people turning to Christ,
and lives being transformed for Christ. Shower of rains of healing,
deliverance and all blessings in our lives and in our land. 1 Kings
18:41, 45, “Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there
is the sound of abundance of rain.” “Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.”

CONCLUSION
Repentance from every sin, separation from every worldly attachment, commitment to watchfulness, holiness, truth, righteousness, love and consistent prayer keep the fire of revival burning in us, in our families and in our ministries.

We need the fire of God for us to be fervent for God, and for the
works of Satan to be consumed in our midst and through our
ministrations. 1 Kings 18:38, “Then the fire of the LORD fell and
consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the
dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.”

PRAYER
Our heavenly Father, we come before you again, we humble ourselves before You. We ask you to forgive us all our sins as we repent, we ask You to cleanse us with the precious Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. And we ask You to send Your fire of revival upon us to consume every work of Satan in our lives and quicken us in Your work. Revive us again and cause us to rejoice in You forever. We ask in Jesus Christ name. Amen

THE IMMINENT RAPTURE, BE WARNED!
Do you care for the Rapture? How often do you think about the Rapture? Or rather, are you prepared for the Rapture? Better still, do you have clear understanding of what Rapture is all about? It’s unpopular topic in churches today, and so many Christians care less about it because it’s not as sweet and motivating as prosperity, breakthrough, new things, favors, blessing and earthly success.

But Rapture is a daily expectation and thought of the wise Christians while prosperity and earthly blessings are the focus for the foolish Christians. Rapture is the catching away of the saints, which will happen within seconds and any moment from now. It’s the first event of the end time advents when the angel of God will blow the trumpet, only Christians who are waiting for it, expecting it and preparing for it will make it.

The simple clarification for self-examination here is that if you are thinking, waiting, preparing or expecting prosperity, miracle or anything more than Rapture, you will not make the Rapture. Only those who earnestly, eagerly wait and prepare for His appearance more than anything else will eventually make it, just like the 5 wise virgins. Matthew 25.

Rapture is a glorious event of all generations; it’s going to be splendid, wonderful and rewarding for the saints more than any event in the history of the world. But then it will leave behind glooming, dooming and destructive reign of the Anti-Christ (666) for all who miss the Rapture.

Jesus Christ gave us the signs which will show that Rapture is very near, that should warn the wise to be more prepared. The two major signs are already present: CARE OF THIS WORLD through false preachers & GLOBAL WARMING. Read what Jesus Christ said:

CARE OF THIS WORLD, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:26, 27.“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” Matthew 24:11, 12.

The cares of this world has overcome many preachers, many churches and many Christians. It’s not just the work of the devil; it is the sign of end time. The syndrome of prosperity, breakthrough, earthly blessings, and focus on being rich, having cars, houses, big businesses, etc; the care for money, mansion, make-ups, partying, obsessing football are signs of end-time. It takes being wise to be warned.

GLOBAL WARMING & CRISIS, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:6-8.The global crisis, weapon building are not just political or matters of misunderstanding, and it’s to be naive and ignorant to see the present global warming of flooding, overheating, weather irregularities, earthquakes, etc as just scientific; but it’s a global “warning” of the eminent rapture. The physical will see it global warming, the spiritual will see it “global warning”; the fool will call it scientific but the wise calls it prophetic.

Are you ready and prepared for the rapture? You can become wise from here by repenting and totally rededicating your life to Jesus. Surrender all, be a different Christian of old, biblical standard in your family, your church, your place of work, your business, your school, everywhere. Let your primary purpose be to please God, your primary focus to make heaven and your primary expectation to be raptured. Even if you can’t remember when last your pastors preached about the Rapture and Second Coming of Jesus, you should remember Lot’s wife.

MATTHEW 24:42-44 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

DISCIPLE OF CHRIST OR CHURCH MEMBER?
Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”

Jesus Christ gave us the command to make disciples of all nations, which is what the Great Commission is all about. But the difference is the case in our churches today. People are focused on making members for their different denominational churches in the name of working for God. But if you look closely to the Master’s commandment, He didn’t say, “Make church members of all the nations” He said, “make disciples of all the nations” Matthew 28:19.

There is a clear difference between making disciples and making church members; there is a crystal clear difference between being a Christ’s disciple and being a church member. You can be a certified, recognized and appreciated church’s member, who is well known in the church, did all sorts of New Covert’s, Believers or Membership trainings, and yet you are not a disciple of Christ. You can go through all these “so called” workers trainings, ministers trainings or Pastoral trainings and yet you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ, you can be so committed into your church, that most of your time and money are spent on different church’s activities, programs and services, and you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ. You can be devoted to your church as a member, as a worker, as a leader, minister or pastor and yet not a disciple of Christ Jesus.

The Great Commission Jesus Christ gave to us is, “Make disciples of all nations” But the devil has deceived us and turned it to “make church members of all nations”. That is the reason you see every denominations struggling to have large number of members that is the reason you see them everywhere, every street, they want to have their own denominational branches or assemblies or parishes, whatever name they call them.

Think about it, if a church or a Pastor says they want to create another branch or parish in a particular street, is it because there are no existing biblical churches in that particular location? If the motive is that all or most denominations in the area are unbiblical and teaching errors, that is good. But they create their new branches there and preach and teach the same thing. They don’t care about that, their mission and focus is to make members from every street, every town, city and state, but not necessary in every village. Because they are not after the mission of making disciples, they only want to make members for their denominations.

You will see in a particular street where different denominational churches are staying side by side. You will see a two, three storey building of different denominations on each floor, the ground floor is denomination A, the first floor is another denomination of B, and second floor is a different Pentecostal denomination C. When church A is doing Sunday School, church B who does not do Sunday School in her denomination will be doing heavy Praise Worship with loud shouts and instruments, and church C will be having a “fireful” and prophetic moment of prayer; all at the same time with their speakers loud enough so as not to be overshadowed and suppressed by the other church. Everything will be boiling in the air, in the name of serving God? This is because they are looking for members not disciples. It is confusion; it may be seen as united confusion, friendly confusion or prophetic confusion; whatever name we call it, such is confusion and God is not an Author of confusion.

Every church wants to have the largest congregation, many branches or parishes and many rich people, all in the name of the Lord. Competition and rivalry among denominations all in the name of the Lord.

It’s a terrible thing in the Christianity of today that the devil has turned the Great Commission to the great competition. The devil has diverted and deceived pastors and churches to think and believe that making church members, creating more parishes or branches are as the same as making disciples. You see more denominations and more parishes of churches today, and at the same time you see more sins, more evil, more competitions, and more immorality. Why? Because most of these pastors and their churches are only making members not disciples. Anybody can be a member, but a not a disciple.

Anybody can be a worker, an ordained minister of a church. Is it not to be regular, committed and do their different classes? But it takes those who are genuinely saved, regenerated, who have forsaken their sins and living new life in Jesus to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. John 8:10, 11, 31, 32.

THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR!
There are clear differences between a church members and a disciple of Jesus Christ:

A disciple of Christ is somebody who genuinely comes to Jesus Christ for the salvation of his soul and eternal life and keeping following Him for the bread of life. John 6: 63-67. But a church member may have other purposes like problem solving, prosperity, prophecies, healing, etc.

A disciple of Christ is somebody who come to Jesus and repent from all his sins, forsake them and continuing in the Word of God. Acts 14:21,22. A church member does not necessarily need to be genuinely saved; they may just answer altar call and be committed and faithful to the church ordinances. Are you a disciple or a church member?

To make disciples, Christ, and Him alone must be preached with the sole aim of leading people to salvation in Christ and helping them to grow and live in holiness, truth and righteousness, and to make heaven. To make members, no need of priority of genuine repentance, salvation, restitution and holiness of life, just preach what will attract people in the name of Jesus. If your purpose is to make people get to heaven, it’s not a must to make them members of your church. You can have thousands members in your church and none of them is a disciple of Christ. The population of a church is not in proportion to the spiritual value of that church. The number of the members in a church is not in any proportion to the number of Christ’s disciples in that church.

ANYTHING GOES!
Many pastor and church is looking for numerical growth today, they want to make members of every nation, every city and every street, and they are ready to preach and perform anything, ready to change any standard to have this dream of mega church come through.

Some denominations say their vision is to have their denominations at every corner of every street and to make members for their denominations from every family. That is a human and personal ambition and not Christ’s ambition. It’s an idea generated from personal ambition to build personal empire not the kingdom of God. You see, there are some things that you don’t need to speak in tongues or have the gift of prophecy before you know if they are biblical or not; all you need to do is to check the Word of God and compare them with the Scriptures that doesn’t change. Jesus said, “make disciples of all nations” He didn’t say, “make your church members of all nations” The only means such denominations can justify their visions or missions is if they claim and prove that their church is the only biblical church through which people can get to heaven and through their church alone people can become disciples of Christ. But if you don’t believe your church is the only church recognized by God and that not all your church’s member are real disciples of Christ, then you don’t need to have your church’s member in every family and at every corner. Christ’s mission is to have His disciples in every family not in your own denomination, except if you believe only your church members are Christ’s disciples in the world.

Most of the missions in the ministries today are selfish, self ego generated missions. Pastors are just building their own empires in the name of God. Pastors are seeking their personal glory in the name of working for God. They are using you to fulfill their own ambition and personal agenda, to boost their personal ego in the name of working for God. They want to have large congregations; they want to have the biggest church auditoriums – multibillionaire, so that it will be written at the back of their books – for that, they are ready to swear on both Testaments, to say anything with God’s name to convince you.

SOME UN-BIBLICAL METHODS OF MAKING AND MAINTAINING MEMBERS
(1) Membership Certificate
Most pastors and their churches today are using various strategies to make and maintain members. Some even go to the point of making their church members to have membership certificate. That is funny. They may tell you, “If you don’t go through our membership class and have certificate, you are not a bona fide member of this church” there are different classes in different churches today, to promote holiness and maintain old standards or maintain members? You wonder why you didn’t hear such things among our founding fathers of faith. Well, you can certify somebody as a genuine member of your church, right? You can be certified by your pastor or General/Senior Pastor as a genuine member but you may not be part of the Disciples of Christ. Having your name written in your church’s book does not mean your name is written in the Book of life in heaven.

Paper certificate is useless; membership certificate is immaterial to becoming disciple of Christ. It may be part of the modern system to maintain church membership. If our genuine aim is to help people to be true Disciples of Christ, there is no need making them to be your certified church members as if being recognized as a genuine member of your church has anything to do with being recognized in heaven. Only Jesus knows His own in a church, no pastor can judge by certificate the true and genuine members of Christ’s kingdom. The classes and certificates are not enough evidence to certify people as genuine disciples of God. Only God can determine His own in the public meeting, so such act is usurping God’s territory and very inadequate.

You see, in those days, our founding fathers of faith were not using all these human ideas, they only preached Jesus alone, and it was evidential in their own personal lives and the lives of the members, because the Bible says by their fruits you will know them, not by their church’s certificates or by their commitment to their church classes and activities. Being a devoted church member or minister does not imply you are a true disciple of Christ. Your church can say anything to sooth you, to make you so confident as if you are a candidate of heaven as long you come to their church, if you build your life on that, it will amount to disappointment at the end of your life.

(2) Membership Marriage
Some churches go to the point of telling their church members not to visit any other churches or marry from another church apart from their own. That is nothing but selfish ideology, not Christ’s or biblical ideas. Not all churches are biblical but that does not mean every other church apart from your own is unbiblical. How can we invite other church members to our church and we don’t want our own church members to be invited to other churches? That is not the commandment of Jesus Christ and has nothing to do with the Great Commission. Jesus says, “Do unto others as you want them to do to you” if you don’t want your church members to attend or visit other denominations, then you don’t need to invite people from other denominations too. It’s all about personal and human ambition and wisdom to make and maintain members. Except if such denomination can biblical prove that their own denomination is the only heavenly recognized church on earth and all others are fake and all their members are sinners going to hell.

Some churches don’t allow their single sisters to go and marry in another denominations, maybe they can allow their single brothers to marry from another denominations and bring the women to their church but not that their sisters would go and marry in another church and then join the church. If your ambition is for kingdom of God, not for your own personal denomination, you don’t need such smart not-biblical tactic. The Bible standard for choosing marital partner is simply “only in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 7:39. It doesn’t says, “Only in your denominational church” a selfless pastor will not care if his single members marry from his church or not, he will only care if the person is in the Lord, not necessarily in your denomination.

Teaching or persuading people to marry only in your denomination is an extra-biblical teaching, EXCEPT you are saying only your church members are in the Lord and other children of God from all other denominations are outside the Lord. You don’t justify people by the church they attend, that is an ungodly judgment, heaven doesn’t recognize any denomination and no denomination is registered in heaven, only people who are washed by the Blood of the Lamb and living daily in righteousness, truth and holiness are recognized in heaven, irrespective of your denominations. So why are we fighting, competing and dividing more and more everyday as if becoming a church member is the same with the command of Jesus Christ of becoming His true disciples and making disciples for Him? Why can’t we base on the biblical standard that by their fruits you shall know those who are truly in the Lord and not by their denominations? Why can’t we stop the great competition of making members for our churches and let’s start the Great Commission of making disciples for Christ Jesus of all nations and of all denominations?

(3) Motivational Methods
Some pastors, in the process of making more members, they changed their messages to motivational, miraculous speaking in order to sooth people. Since many people want preachers that will deceive them by telling them what they want to hear not what they need to hear. So to make many members you must make mention what the many people want to hear at many times. People want motivational messages not rebuking messages, people want prosperity messages not message of purity, people want to go to churches where they perform miracles not where they practice holiness. So many preachers have become motivational speakers; others go to the point of getting demonic powers to perform miracles. You preach prosperity, breakthrough, faith for fantastic living and to overcome problems of life, but not the faith for holy life or to overcome temptations. They preach materials blessings and business success with long life. They sweeten their messages to psych your emotion and make you scream, to motivate you in your sins not from your sin. And you feel calmed, cooled and comfortable in your sins but uncomfortable with poverty.

With these, preachers can only make members for their denominations; with these, you can only become a member of a denomination and not disciple of Christ Jesus. You can be busing preaching, praying and sacrificing in the name of serving God, but all for nothing for your eternity. If your preaching, praying and teachings are not turning people to righteousness, all your effort are baseless. The Bible says in the book of Daniel 12:3, “Those who turn many to righteousness shall shine like stars forever and ever.” That is for people who are wise not the foolish ones.

If your purpose for the ministry or God’s work is to turn people to prosperity, to business success, wealthy life, healing and miracles, you are a big looser because no eternal reward for you. Only those who turn people to righteousness are recognized and will be rewarded in heaven. You may be popular here on earth and prospered and rich, but when this world passes away, your gains also pass away. If you are a member or minister of any of church but you are not living a righteous life, you are a great looser. Imagine your offerings, sacrifices and services are waste, your effort and giving are useless. You are just busy for nothing, your pastors and church can be deceiving you to continue like that as if everything is fine with you, they can try to misinterpret the Bible to calm you; Satan can be throwing miracles into your way in the name of testimonies to make you feel as if nothing is wrong or God is okay with you, but you alone has the power to choose not to be deceived by people or satan.

PERSONAL EXAMINATION
You can examine your own life, put aside all the physical and material testimonies, the certificates, the ordained “tittles”, the position you have in and outside the church; are you a true disciple of Jesus Christ or just a church member, minister? It’s not by claiming or ordinary confession, but it’s by your fruit testified to by people. If you are not yet a true disciple of Christ, you can become one NOW. All you need is to be sincere with yourself, realize your situation and repent from all your sins both open and secret ones and ask Jesus to forgive you as you determine to forsake them. How To Superglue Your Marriage

The world's "50/50 Plan" for marriage is destined for failure. God's plan calls for something much greater.

When two people get married, they have high expectations about their relationship. An unspoken assumption by each one is that the other will "meet me halfway."

When Barbara and I received premarital counseling from our friends and mentors Don and Sally Meredith, they warned us that we had been thoroughly indoctrinated in the world's plan for marriage. They called it the 50/50 Plan, which says, "You do your part, and I'll do mine." This concept sounds logical, but couples who use it are destined for disappointment and failure.
We spent the first year and a half of our marriage in Boulder, Colorado, where the winters are cold and electric blankets are standard equipment for survival. I can recall how both of us enjoyed sliding into those toasty-warm sheets after the electric blanket had thawed them. However, we couldn't always remember to turn off all the lights. We would snuggle in, and Barbara would say, "Sweetheart, did you remember to turn off all the lights?"

I would hop out of our comfy bed and run barefoot through the 55-degree apartment, turning off light after light. It didn't happen that often, so I didn't mind until one night when I dropped into bed totally exhausted. Just as I slipped into the third stage of anesthesia, Barbara gave me a poke and said, "Sweetheart, aren't you going to turn off the lights?" I groaned, "Honey, why don't you turn off the lights tonight?"Barbara replied, "I thought you would because my dad always turned off the lights."Suddenly, I was wide awake. It dawned on me why I had been suffering occasional minor frostbite on my feet. I shot back, "But I'm not your dad!”

The expectations Barbara and I brought to marriage set us up to buy into the 50/50 Plan. Barbara was sure that I would do my part and meet her halfway by always getting up to turn off the lights. On the night I flatly refused, I was pushing her to do her part and meet me halfway.
Why the 50/50 Plan fails. Our disagreement revealed the biggest weakness of the 50/50 Plan: It is impossible to determine if your spouse has met you halfway. Because neither of you can agree on where halfway is, each is left to scrutinize the other's performance from a jaded, often selfish perspective.

Many times in a marriage, both partners are busy, overworked, and feel taken for granted. The real question isn't who faced the most pressure that day. The important issue is how do you build oneness and teamwork instead of keeping score and waiting for the other person to meet you halfway.

The 50/50 Plan is destined to fail for several reasons:
Acceptance is based on performance. Many people unknowingly base their acceptance of their spouses on performance. Performance becomes the glue that holds the relationship together, but it isn't really glue at all. It's more like Velcro. It seems to stick, but it comes apart when a little pressure is applied. What a marriage needs is superglue—but more on that later.

Giving is based on merit. With the "meet me halfway" approach, a husband would give affection to his wife only when he felt she had earned it. If she always cooked tasty meals and balanced the checkbook then he would drop her a few crumbs of praise and loving attention. She, in turn, would lavish affection and praise only when he vacuumed the carpet and always arrived home on time.

Motivation for action is based on how each partner feels. As a newlywed, it's easy to act sacrificially because the pounding heart and romantic feelings fuel the desire to please. But what happens when those feelings diminish? If you don't feel like doing the right thing, perhaps you won't do it at all. I didn't feel like turning off the lights that night at our apartment, so I didn't.

Each spouse has a tendency to focus on the weaknesses of the other. Ask a husband or wife to list his or her spouse's strengths in one column and the weaknesses in another, and the weaknesses will usually outnumber the strengths five to one.
Ultimately, the world's plan, the 50/50 performance relationship, is destined to fail because it is contrary to God's plan.

Apply the superglue
What a marriage needs is the superglue of Philippians 2:3: "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than yourselves." It's what we refer to as the 100/100 Plan, which requires a 100 percent effort from each of you to serve your spouse.

The Bible describes this plan well in Matthew 22:39: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." There's no closer neighbor than the one you wake up to each morning! And since most of us love ourselves passionately, we are well on the way to implementing the 100/100 Plan if we take a similar approach to loving our spouses.

Start by stating the 100/100 Plan like this: "I will do what I can to love you without demanding an equal amount in return." In marriage you will hear a voice that says, Why are you making the bed this morning when she wouldn't bring you a soft drink last night? Or, Why should I not buy this outfit when he spent fifty dollars last weekend on golf? That voice has to be silenced if you are to live out the 100/100 Plan. Yes, there will be times when one person appears to get the advantage in the relationship. But love requires sacrifice. Stick with the 100/100 Plan and you will see increasing cooperation and intimacy in your marriage.

A bit of grace always helps too. Sometimes a couple can make issues out of things that really don't matter. Maybe we had parents who did that as we grew up, but that's not the type of person I want to be or one I'd enjoy living with. Barbara and I have learned over the years to let a lot slide; we don't take issue or talk about many minor disappointments.

Marriage is the union of two imperfect people who in their selfishness, sinfulness, and demands of each other will cause disappointment and hurt. You must lay aside those difficulties and hold fast to forgiveness, love, and Christ's command to love even those who don't at times appear to love you.

You will never have all of your expectations met in marriage on this fallen planet. But if you concentrate on implementing the 100/100 Plan, your life will be so full of satisfaction that you may not care.

SATAN'S MEETING AGAINST GOD
(Read even if you're busy)

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to church." "We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth." "We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Savior." "Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, but steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ." "This is what I want you to do", said the devil:
"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!" "How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the nonessentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."
"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children." "As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice." "Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive." "To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly." "This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers." "Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day." "Invade their driving moments with billboards." "Flood their mail boxes with junk mail, mail order catalogues, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."
"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives." "Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night." "Give them headaches too!" "If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere." "That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas." "Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and power over sin and death."
"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive." "Have them return from their recreation exhausted." "Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation." "Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead." "Keep them busy, busy, and busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."
"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus." "Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause." "It will work!" "It will work!"

It was quite a plan! The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there. Having little time for their God or their families. Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful at his scheme?
You be the judge! Does "busy" mean:
B-eing
U-nder
S-atan's
Y-oke?

"Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings .And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. - I Peter 5:8-1.

If you are too busy to daily prayer time and Bible reading, then you are under the end time yoke of Satan. If you now are too busy to to have time for evangelism, visiting and calling the brethren and family members, then you have been carried away with the cares of this life. If your life is busy with the cares, longing, desires, activities of this world, then you are among the deceived. If your heart is busy with business, buyings, beauty, building project, bank account, etc, it may be too late after the rapture.

Rededicate your life to Jesus Christ, refocus your priority, purpose of living, pursuit, prayers, and preaching on heaven and preparation for His coming. Care less about the passing things of this life, and you will not be among the foolish Christians.

"And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved" Matthew 24:12, 13

"...and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful." Matthew 13:22.

" Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming."

BE WISE TO BE WARNED
Matthew 16:26, “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

(1) IF YOU ARE NOT YET SAVED
Seriously, it doesn't worth it that you gain every desirable position, pleasure and possession of this world and go to hell fire at the end; think about it, does it worth it that you gain less than 100 years pleasure of this life and get more than 1 Million years of pain and plague in life after? Dear, it does not worth it that you lose your soul in eternity just because of temporal profits of this present and passing world, are you a fool?

Do not delays to forsake your sins to experience genuine salvation just because of the profits, pleasure or popularity that you may lose; or because of the persecution you will face. There is nothing in this world as important and precious as the salvation of your dear soul. The end is imminent than you imagine. Repent, confess and forsake your sins as you accept the lordship of Jesus Christ into your life.

(2) IF YOU ARE SAVED
Beloved, it does not worth it that you give up your garment of holiness, your purity and faithfulness in Christ simply because of the promising gain of this world; it does not worth it that you surrender your standard in Christ just because of the fear of persecution and problem of life. Will you allow Satan to fool you to give up your precious eternal life just because of this passing pleasure of this world? Will you compromise your purity and righteousness in Christ just because of money and the craving for riches? How foolish will that be? Will you fall into sin just because of fear of men for persecution or unknown problem? How will you be stupid to give away your gift of life just because of the gain of this going-away world?

Do not fear persecution of men or problem of life and fall into sin, for it is better to die in Christ for not compromising into sin than to dine with Satan for committing sin. Do not fall into sinful demand and system because of earthly riches, pleasure and possession, for it is better to maintain purity in poverty and end up in eternal riches than to make prosperity and profits by worldly wisdom and end up in eternal damnation.

Be wise, be warned and wake up unto righteousness, for our salvation draws nearer than when we first believed.

1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”

SHOULD CHILDREN OF GOD COHABIT?
Cohabitation is an arrangement where a man and woman who are not married live together in an intimate relationship, particularly an emotionally and/or sexually intimate one, on a long-term or permanent basis; living together in a sexual relationship without being married.

People cohabit for several reasons: some because of financial difficulty to do wedding, so they decide to live together until they can gather enough money for wedding; some cohabit to test and try their relationship, and see if they can move forward to proper marriage; some cohabit because either parents do not support the relationship, so they decide to live together until both parents support. Others cohabit because of relocation, and so they stay together for the time other partner gets his or her apartment or till they marry. Some also cohabit, not because of marital relationship, but to assist the other opposite sex who needs accommodation.

The Bible truth is that, cohabitation is a sin wherever you are or whatever reasons you have, because:

(1) IT'S SEXUAL IMMORALITY. Having sex with a partner before a legal and official wedding is a sin of sexual immorality of fornication, and no fornicator is a child of God or will enter heaven. 1 Corinthians 5:11, "But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator.....with such an one no not to eat." Fornicators dishonor their bodies.

(2) IT'S DISHONORING GOD'S NAME. "What if we live together and we don't have sex?" Even when there is no sex between both people, though rare, it is dishonoring God's name; they are defiling God's name before people. As children of God, we are not only to live with pure conscience before God, but also before men. "And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offense toward God, and toward men." Acts 24:16. When you and an opposite sex are living together, you are passing wrong message to people and living in conscience full of offense towards people.

(3) IT'S AN ACT OF DISORDER. God is not an Author of confusion, but He is an Author of an orderly marriage, where wedding takes place before marriage; having marriage before wedding is a serious act of disorder of high grade. We cannot disorder God's orderly arranged institution and procedure, and expect God's approval.

SO WHAT IF OUR PARENTS AND PASTORS ARE AWARE AND SUPPORT US? Even if your parents are aware and your pastors support, it does not overrule the truth that premarital sex is a sin. When your parents support your cohabitation, then you are not sinning against your parents, since they support, but you are only sinning against God; and when your pastors support you cohabiting, you are not sinning against your pastors then, but against your own soul. Fornication cannot turn to familiarity because of the support of parents or pastors, it only means the pastors are immoral and the parents are mis-supporting.

AND WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE CHILDREN? Having children do not make a marriage, what makes a marriage is a legal wedding between a man and a woman. Having children in cohabitation is simply bringing forth children on spoiled and sinful foundation.

If a man and woman are living together as married without legal wedding, people may see them as married couple, family and friends may address them as married, but to God, they are sinful partners living together. There was a story of a woman cohabiting with a man in the Bible, what did Jesus tell her? "Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.” John 4:17, 18. The woman had had 5 husbands recognized by Jesus as "husbands" because they did what it took to be husbands, but the man she was living with at that moment was only recognized by Jesus as "the one", not as husband. No matter how many years you live together, no matter how many kids you have together, you are not recognized by God as husband and wife.

REPENT, RESTITUTE!
If you are living with an opposite sex partner or friend, you need to repent by realizing it to be sin, and asking God to forgive you. Genuine experience of salvation is very important. Then you do the right thing immediately - part away or do the right things. If you already have children and concluded to marry, you may not need to do elaborate wedding, just inform your parents, go to the government to legalize it and pay bride price as demanded by your culture immediately. You should do this without delay or detach from each other until this is done. It is better to separate, surrender your life to Jesus and pray for God's guidance, because the person may not even be God's will for you to marry, since you are now a child of God.

There is eternal condemnation for those who live in cohabitation and die in such condition, and if rapture takes place in such condition, there is no way such people can make the rapture to meet the Lord, because it is living in immorality, and no immoral person will enter heaven or make the rapture.

Romans 12:1, 2,
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

S T R A N G E ! (Please read this)
A woman who served the Lord all through her life died and at the gate of heaven, she was told she would not be allowed to enter into heaven, why? She was told to open her hands, and in her hand was found 12 sticks of matches. When she was still alive, there was a night she borrowed a box of matches from her neighbor, and after she had light her lamp, she took 12 extra matches and kept for herself without informing her neighbor.

These 12 sticks of matches followed her to the gate of heaven, and a Bible verse of Revelation 21:27 was read to her, "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." The angel told her, ‘”There shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth’ but you have 12 unclean things in your hands.’” She was disqualified from entering heaven and from the gate of heaven, she was thrown to hell. This is a revelation from Pastor Abraham Yakubu who died and was later restored back to life.

This sounds strange but it is similar to the Scriptures for us to search and surrender all to Jesus Christ!

Friends and brethren, which unclean thing do you have in your life that you think does not matter or that your pastors and church say it does not matter? The modern preachers will tell you that it does not matter of what you do or how you live even after you claimed to be saved, that Jesus Christ has done everything for you, so you can continue in uncleanness and worldliness, that Jesus' blood covers you and you are covered by His righteousness, so you can continue in sin and they promised you the grace of God will continue to abide with you? They may tell you that little sin does not matter and nothing is called worldliness, but will you allow them to ruin your soul to eternal damnation? Will you be silly to be among the many deceived?

Which stolen thing, unsettled restitution or unclean habit like self-service, makeup, worldly movies, music, magazine or ungodly dress in your life and you think does not matter? Will you wait until you get to the gate of heaven before you face the shock or you wait until you miss the rapture?

We all need to search our lives and ask God to search us by the light of His word and the help of His Holy Spirit; if only we humble ourselves and surrender without delay or deception of modern preachers.
