why should he get a paycut? wunmi590: No mind them, instead of them to tell him the truth, they won't....
This is the same reason Chelsea rejected him, because he was unwilling to take pay cut down, just for a year loan to play and then they will increase his pay if he perform well, but he refused, that was why they backed out |

they are playing game with him. i don't know why dey want to demarket am. most likely because he is african ttmax09: Oh he his the biggest loser in all this, bye bye to a supposedly bright career. Should have left after he won the title with Napoli. And then he foolishly signed a contract extension. Who does that? Then it's very obvious Napoli are all out to wicked him, I mean they already agreed price with Saudi and he also agreed personal terms, they now turned around and demanded €5M extra angering Al ahli hence reason they pulled out and bought Ivan instead. |

Osimhen dropped from Napoli squad for 2024/25 season
Anthony Nlebem
August 31, 2024 Former Serie A champions Napoli have officially removed Victor Osimhen from their squad list and handed his number 9 shirt to new signing Romelu Lukaku for the 2024/25 season. The decision to exclude the Nigerian striker follows a chaotic transfer deadline day, during which Osimhen failed to finalise a move to either Chelsea or Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli. Despite being under contract with Napoli until the summer of 2026, with a lucrative deal worth €10 million per season, Osimhen was keen to leave. The 25-year-old had been hoping to secure a four-year contract with Al-Ahli, reportedly worth €40 million per season. However, the move collapsed when Napoli demanded a higher transfer fee, prompting Al-Ahli to switch their attention to England international Ivan Toney from Brentford. Napoli are set to play Parma at the Stadio Diego Maradona on Saturday evening. New signing Lukaku is expected to lead the attack, while fellow deadline-day arrival Billy Gilmour, who joined from Brighton, may also feature on the bench. Scott McTominay, another new arrival, won’t be in the squad for this match but could make his debut against Cagliari after the international break. The shake-up signifies a significant squad overhaul for Napoli as they look to compete on multiple fronts this season. The addition of Lukaku, a proven goalscorer, could prove pivotal in their quest for success, while Osimhen’s future remains uncertain as he now finds himself without a clear role at the club. |

so if okocha was the best player, why didn't he lift bolton to the top of epl? Rossikk: You're talking CRAP.
Chelsea were offering him £130,000 a week, a gross insult for a player of his calibre, and less than HALF of his current salary at Napoli.
If that was a white guy they would pay him ANY MONEY he asked, like Haaland.
FCK ALL OF THEM.
OSIMHEN WILL SIT IN NAPOLI AND COLLECT HIS £325,OOO A WEEK JEJELY TILL 2026.
When he's finished he can retire and go into real estate business.
FUCKING WHITE IDIOTS.
ANYTHING 'NIGERIA' THREATENS THEM.
THEY WILL GANG UP TO FRUSTRATE YOU BY REFUSING TO PAY YOUR WORTH.
SAME THING THEY DID WITH OKOCHA. A MAN THAT WAS THREE TIMES MORE SKILFUL THAN RONALDINHO, YET ENDED UP AT BOLTON BECAUSE THESE ANIMALS CALLED ''BIG EUROPEAN CLUBS'' COULDN'T STAND A NIGERIAN BEING THE BEST PLAYER ON THE PLANET.

haaland gets 500k a week at mancity, ronaldo is around 4.5 million a week at saudi, aubameyang is just 180k or so at saudi. for 500k, if i were osimhen, i will take it. if he transfers back to epl later or euro, he can go for lower salary he should save all the money. Atk1nson: Almost all no 9 have been unlucky in Chelsea since after the era of Drogba, and this was when Chelsea was still red hot.
Chelsea would have been a big gamble. |
Sports › Re: Victor Osimhen to join Al-Ahli on 4-year contract - SkySports by frog12: 4:27pm On Aug 30, 2024 |
i agree. but if chelsea offer am 350k, i for take am. but if a mediocre keeper like kepa was receiving that much, and mendy was getting only 50k and as an african, i will take the bigger money. if na white man, dem go pay dem no dey pay africans. see mane for liverpool. after the man leave, liverpool come collapse Atk1nson: He won the Italian cup as a key player; he has already achieved more than many of his peers can boast.
If he is closer to 30, he has only a few years left to play, so it makes sense to chase the bag. Only a few players can play top-level football into their late 30s. |

you are right Broveens42: Osimhen in a man city team will also flop...he would flop in epl because he's not as clinical as people thought.. he's just looking for escape route
It will be very easy to mark him out in the epl just like the AFCON Haaland only succeeded in epl not because he has creative players around him, but because he is very clinical....look at his blind goal against Chelsea on match day 1 |

when you are broke, and your mates are doing better, you will learn samsard: Money is not everything in life. But you see this kind of money? It's a whole lot. Put selfishness aside and you can do a whole lot of gold with just a fraction of this kind of money. |
Sports › Re: Victor Osimhen to join Al-Ahli on 4-year contract - SkySports by frog12: 2:16pm On Aug 30, 2024 |
haaland makes 600k per week Nazgul: At just 24 or there about, he's going into oblivion. Na wa o.
Left for me, I would have advised him to accept a more reduced wage and come to Chelsea. That £500k per week he was asking for was sheer greed on his part. Cos even haaland and Salah who have consistently maintained their scoring talents for more than 4 seasons don't even earn up to that.
Saudi Arabia is for players who have already made their mark and are looking for a peaceful retirement. Not someone at the peak of his career.
His agent who advised him to take this deal is only after his cut and nothing more. In as much as money is good, you cannot get international recognition in the world of football by just money. You need a trailer load of silverware. That's why people like Messi, Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane...etc. Would always be respected wherever they go. It shouldn't just be about the money. |

that's not low. i think he's going to get around 500k per week. i would go for the money since none of the europeans want to meet napoli's fees. he's not on mbappe or neymar's level JASONjnr: Why's this guy going low?
I want to believe, he's learning from CR7 for retiring into a less stressful club. |

there is nothing wrong here. there are many conglomerates everywhere in the world. OhBritannia: The problem with a black man in Africa is that he wants to become a jack of all trade, he alone wants to rule everything thereby not allowing others to rule and this is why Africa is backwards today.
The white man or woman will have for example a kerosene factory and that factory will become a family heritage for generations to come, they will be known as the billionaire kerosene empire. This means other whites will have to build empires with other diferent products and industries, thereby the circulation of wealth is distributed.
But in Africa, one man wants to have it all.
Greed is why Africa is still a 3rd world continent because i don't understand how and why dangote wants to own a bank. |
