Read my original post which I updated again and you will see where I clearly stated that he was framed up OR set up to confess to that coup that was widely known in the media back in the late 1990s as a "Phantom Coup." It NEVER took place but it was a major setup using agents to get rid of perceived or potential opponents of Sani Abacha who wanted to contest for the Presidency as a civilian. This was open knowledge back in 1996 and beyond.

The fact that there's a supposed doctored video of Diya and Alisa online which I'm aware of doesn't mean it is a historical true that a real coup took place.
