I had two miscarriages,high prolactin,asherman syndrome,fibroid,low sperm count and motility but it didn't stop God. There's hope.

Over sabi mamas una weldonoooo, baby dust to you all, i have been following this thread from background, sometimes i cry, sometimes i pray with you guys.

It happened that mine was a different case of SECONDARY INFERTILITY.

I had my baby 5years ago, fixed copper IUCD to complete masters degree, removed it after 2years, i was ttcing for 3years and 5months.

I did hormonal assay, it showed low LH and high FSH, every other things withinn normal limit.

I was placed on clomid for more than 3 consecutive cycle, ranging from 50mg once a day to twice a day, to 150mg twice a day. Nothing happened.

I graduated to HMG for 3days, followed by HCG on the 12day ie 36 hrs before ovulation , dear friends nothing happened, let me not bore you.

I read something on this thread about vit b6, folic acid and vit c, i browsed extensively about their dosage, i began to use it , removed my mind from everything, i locked up according one sister, even when they told to come for HSG i refused, my dh did seminalysis, the result was ok.
I even stoped counting my cycle

All of a sudden i was cooking my favourte soup banga, i began to vomit, i quickly lay my hands on a PT strip that is in my toilet, lo and behold it was POSITIVE.

Why am i writing this, i want to give back to this my beautiful sisters,

I have never been on clomid, but what I have read from here, u shouldnt be on it for a long time. If you haven't done your hormone assessment, I suggest u should do it, and be prayerful, that's all we have. Other sabi mamaa will come and touch light on your matter.

Hi Ladies. This is my first time of commenting. I have being TTC for more than 2years now. Was diagnosed of PCOS as a teenage so started induction with clomid immediately I got married. Iv had a total of 6 cycles(if not more sef) of clomid starting from 50mg to 150mg with no show. Also had hcg in 2 of the cycles. Actually had chemical pregnancy after one of d cycles, However I Lost it after 8weeks.My hubby travelled for a year so had a long break from all drugs except metformin which I was using 1500mg per day. Hubby is back now and about to start ovulation induction with hmg. Enough with clomid!!! Actually suggested to use Letrozole to my gynae but she said she prefers I use hmg. Just finished primolut to induce withdrawal bleed(AF) and will start hmg 150IU day 3.(Pls is hmg a daily injection and for how many days? Then when am I meant to start follicular tracking? ) Currently on Metformin 1000mg, Fertilaid 3tabs daily. I'm prayerful for a positive response this time. This year will not pass me by in Jesus name. Baby dusts to us all.

Mama's, I was like that, but you can only ask questions when you know what to ask for. Most time, as newly wed, you will think that getting pregnant was very easy, then when after almost a year, u start getting worried.
I went to Georges hospital after a year to find out, and on day 9 of my cycle, the main doctor did TVs on me, but then I didn't know what he was doing, and he didn't see any follicle, he asked me to come in two days time, then he saw, and that was my journey, every other day I was going, then when he saw a mature one, he told them to give me an injection, I sneaked and read the paper and saw it was pregnal.

He never for once told me he was tracking my follicle, even when my hubby went for his SFA, he just told me hmmm, we can work with this, I then asked, please what is it, cos I have read a little about sperm count, then he told me it was borderline count, imagine, wetin I know wey be borderline.

For every time I went for tvc and consultation, It cost 25k, but luckily it was my health service that was paying, when my HMO would not pay for further investigation, I went looking for another hospital, luckily I had joined this group, and had learnt so much and continue to read.

Don't get me wrong, Georges is a good hospital, but communication wise, it wasn't it for me. Hospitals abroad would sit and explain everything in lay mans term.
I thank God for this group, and pray that we will move from this place ASAP, Cos its really not where to be, but we learn a lot and thank God for the grace to overcome.

i just felt like sharing this, cos i used to be like you and other women out there, and after going for tvs or any scan, my dh would ask me for the result, and i wud be blabbing, the sonographer didnt tell me, or he said everything is good etc, my dh would get very furious, and instruct me to ask for specifics n even remind them before the procedure, we are paying these guys for these services, so they shud divulge every every.

imagine 1 tvs i went for back then, uterine lining size in mm wasnt stated, sonoguy just said its ok, follicle size same thing
now, am better armed for them,o, no rubbish, write out everything for me chikena!

Silent reader, but learnt so much. Pleas be careful with some of the agents in the UK, some buy with other people credit cards, some when you pay, that's the end. Except its your person in the UK, that will make payment for you, and know the office of the agent.

I had a similar experience last year, my friend gave me an agent in the UK for cheap ticket, send me the ticket, he kept delaying until the day before my travel day by then, I had gotten a ticket from waka now for 240k, while his was 180k. 1 Get a specialist in fertility not just any gynaecologist, because not all are fertility specialist .

2 HE/ SHE will send you and your partner for series of test .Female a lot of GYNEA sends their patient for FSH ,LH, PROLACTIN,HSG, but the most accurate are to do AMH in combination with a TVs on day 3,TSH,HSG , and diagnostic hysteroscopy if there is an indication for it. while for your partner he has to do a semen analysis.

I think you have urinary tract infection, but you need to go for a text and confirm, then from there, they will prescribe an antibiotic for you. This should help...

Welcome dear mama, may you stay be short, don't know where they sell seven seas, but you can try evergreen formula for men and women, also about the lemon water stuff, lemon water is good when trying to conceive and for everyone, its lime that's not good. Many people think lemon and lime is the same, its not, lime is more harsh than lemon. Hope that helps, I guess other sabi mamas will help out.

I've been seeing conflicting results of lemon water online so I have just decided to stop that for now. I just read about Seven seas trying for a baby prenatals and I'm willing to try it. My dear welcome, may your stay be short. You can visit any good gyno and run hormonal test, also let DH do his sperm test, but if you are not yet ready, you can buy fertailaid for men and women or ever green formula, try it for like three months and let's see.

My sister, please don't go and do anything, whose report do you believe? God or the doctor, its even too early to say. In the meantime, put your hands on your belly and declare with faith, this is not a time for fear, but let faith arise in you. Remember, the violent take it by force, please stand on Gods word, you will not die, the pregnancy is not ectopic etc. If you speak in tongues, and you might not know what to pray about, pray in the spirit for about 1hr and at every opportunity, then wait till like next week for another scan at a different lab, ask God to direct you to the right person, am praying for you sis, it is well in Jesus name.

I have a regular cycle of 28/29 days, I started spotting brown blood on 1st Nov (CD25) till date. I've done two blood PT on sat and mon respectively and dey were positive. I went for scan (TVS), and d radiologist said it looks like an ectopic pregnancy...d sac is outside my uterus. I'm so down with d news, but I've to act fast before it ruptures and gv me more complications. Pls mamas which Govt hospital in Abuja can best handle dis?

pls, wot a the symptoms u feel, cos me i start having breastpain 2 days after ovulation which is not a normal thing for me, before my MC, i usually start aving breastpain 7 days after ovulation

I start having breast pain like a week b4 AF, also I feel bloated, then once I start AF, I reduce. The way I bloat is not funny, I like put on an extra 2kg and just full everywhere, once the period is over, I come back to myself.

U intend to buy evening primrose and take with this evergreen formula...

My dear, will check my result and see. My periods was not heavy, after sometime, they were heavier, but as of two months now its reduced in flow. This one that I had started with little drops on the 31st, 1st was flowing but without those clumps, the 2nd was a little heavier, but by the 3rd, the flow had stopped by afternoon. The thing was I reduced my consumption of sweet stuff and took more of fruits, so this may be the reason.

I know God has already healed us of every issue, will research on thick lining and check my result and get back to you. Take care sis

i think the high progesterone maybe part of the cause of the unexplained infertility, just that docs are yet to understand it thoroughly.
from my reseacrh, too thick lining hinders implantation as the fertilized ovum embryo cant burrow deep to impant.
2ndly, are your periods heavy, and how long does it flow

My dear sis, that's what I my gyna said to me, that my progesterone was high, thought I was preggo, but the test was negative, sent to a doctor and he said my result was fine, also read here that progesterone level can never be too high... So I now speak to my hormones, all of them to act well. I also started taking evergreen formula to regulate my hormones.

I know it will all end in praise, can't wait for this phase of my life to pass...

Quite true, good analysis, came across the comparison while researching on clomid,
but still decided to stick with clomid,
my issue is a bit different, i have thick uterine lining, usually hits 14mm by cd 12!, n i usually ovulate cd 15/16, i learnt that clomid thins lining, thus thats why i choose to use it.. this cycle i started with clomid 50mg cd 3 to 7, [planned to do cd 2 to 6, but missed]. also had high progsterone the 2 cycles i did hormonal profiling, that i thought i shud have been pregnant, . tentatively i might say i am progesterone dominant, if there is anything like that.
if anybody knows another method to thin the uterine lining, pls am all ears, or has a similar case of high progesterone and knows how to reduce it a bit

I've been on peeping mode for a while due to some depressing reasons. what can I say? the joy of the Lord is my strength.after doing everything right(i think I did),timing ovulation, bding like say I be Usain bolt,anxiety nearly killed me during the this 2ww period.i almost had a mental breakdown cuz every my mind was playing tricks on me....i started spotting from CD25.from light pink to brown and then to red blood.at first I thought it was implantation blood not until it had some small clots.i felt prior to that day I took a lot of sugary stuff and maybe that was why d blood came in that quantity.i just didnt know what to make of this........at last Af showed up today being my (CD27). I have an accurate 27days cycle.i was so depressed.immediately I called hubby an I couldn't hold back the tears.he just started consoling me that he wasn't complaining and that I am not God that makes babies.he came back home and hugged me so tight and made me feel better.we went for evening service at church and I must confess that I felt better.it was like being in his presence swallowed my pain.i bless the almighty for giving me my hubby. I don know what I would have done without his support in this TTC journey....the only thing I notice Is that theperiod is quite light. all day I haven't changed cuz its not filling the P*D.i don't know why it's like this tho.my first day is usually heavy I cud change 3xce......hop y'all good.u r all in my tots and prayers.....this my mood is not good jare.lemme go an sleep.it has even sapped my sense of humour sef.love u ladies.muah!!!! kizzez*in falz's voice*
