Van snickers: What about all the Igbo "Nigerian Princes " that have made our country to be associated with outrageous email scams?!What was the email responder looking for? I never knew Bennie Mardoff (sp??) is also Igbo. Yeah!! All those yahoo yahoo boys in Ibadan are also Igbo. At least we do not have global terrorists like Yorubas. |
Aigbofa: We are saying the same thing. Perhaps he loved Ekiti weed but not as much as your current spare parts dealers who cannot distinguish between noble and Nobel. Even though Ekiti weed is good, everything must be in moderation my friend. Otherwise you get your brain fried, not good. But who is failing bank intake exams due to excessive weed smoking? Ekiti ''professors'' or SE ''spare parts dealers''? Who are the banks rejecting as we speak? You still want to continue to be a blind bat? |
Aigbofa: But the market for the weed is in the east! !You blind bat. Let me put it in your face, once again. Aigbofa: But the market for the weed is in the east! Maybe Okadigb didn't smoke as much weed as the current generation. They can't seem to hold a line of thought for more than a few seconds. Damn you Ekiti weed!Duh!! Okadigbo smoked weed but still went ahead to become Senate president after serving in several high positions, including being an Assistant Prof in Obama country. In contrast, your folks smoke the same weed and become brain dead and intellectually incapacitated. Now who is better? |
Aigbofa: Jealousy is no substitute for hard work. Nothing stops you from asking your oga to award you a masters or even a PHD after your spare parts training. To each his own.Spare parts trading is 100 x better than crass drug addition resulting in lack of ''brain'' to pass simple bank recruitment exams. Even Okadigbo, former Senate president and one of the most educated Nigerians (with a PhD from Germany, or is it the US?), was a spare parts seller too. |
He unlawfully blocked the road and proceeded to beat up a law enforcement agent See thuggery now. SW and this malaise. Seems incurable |
I said it that those students have been smoking too much hemp, hence their empty brain nature Taking anti- drug campaign to Ekiti schools http://dailyindependentnig.com/2013/03/taking-anti-drug-campaign-to-ekiti-schools/ |
babyosisi: Now the mystery of the failing students riddle has been solvedSupported. But would the Ekiti blind bat, Aigbofa, agree? |
Aigbofa: That's right. Ekiti produces weed. Some guys from the other side of the big river smokes it.Cheap liar. You produce, sell and consume. Read my links above. Do some more googling. See why I called you a blind bat? babyosisi: Who named the state fountain of knowledge when it should have been fountain of authentic Igbo"What does a lizard do when it falls off a tree? It nods its head in self-recognition. That is what Ekiti did by naming itself in such an outlandish, shameless manner. But remember that self-praise is no recommendation. Others have now recommended Ekiti for what it truly is: fountain of Indian Hemp. |

Remi Koleosho It was a major breakthrough for the Ekiti State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recently, as the agency destroyed Indian hemp worth over N20 Million at Ilokun, a suburb of Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital. The destruction exercise was witnessed by traditional rulers, led by the Oloye of Oye-Ekiti, Oba Oluwole Ademolaju, as well as state government executive council members including the Health and Information and Civic Orientation Commissioners, Messrs Femi Thomas and Taiwo Olatubosun; Special Adviser to Governor Oni on MDGs, Mr. Bayo Asana among other personalities. The illicit drug, which was packaged and bagged was set ablaze under the supervision of Mr. Femi Oloruntoba, the representative of Ahmadu Giade, the Chairman of the agency. Giade revealed that the hemp, weighing over 5 tons, with a street price of over N20 million, was the result of various seizures from some barons in the state. The State Commander of the Agency, Prince Ben Ikani while addressing the gathering attributed the achievements of the command in the last one year to the support of his subordinates, adding that about 48 suspects were arrested in the state in connection with drug offences during the period, while no fewer than 105 acres of Indian hemp farms were also destroyed. He disclosed that most of the farms were discovered on mountain tops which made it very hectic for the drug fighters to detect and access the farms. The NDLEA state commander also noted that no fewer than 26 culprits have so far been convicted by the High Court in the state for various drug offences. Oloruntoba, who is the Director, Prosecution and Legal Matters of the NDLEA, described the success of the agency in the fight against illicit drug in Ekiti State as another Ekiti parapo (Ekiti collective) war, saying that most of the people arrested for various drug offences were also on drugs. He pointed out that 50 per cent of commercial motorbike operators and commercial bus and taxi drivers in the state are usually driving under the influence of drugs, stating that they take a certain form of hard drug called Monkey Tail before setting out for the day’s work. He said that 25 per cent of the victims of hard drug in the country were youths in their prime. He, however, explained that hard drugs are having negative impact on the economic growth, education, food security and political stability among others, thereby calling for special attention to the youth. The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Thomas, lamented the spate of drug consumption in the state, saying that the situation requires urgent attention. He said: “The new status of the state, in the drug world, calls for urgent attention and preferably, the establishment of rehabilitation centres in the state, to ensure that the situation does not degenerate beyond the stage it is now. Speaking also, Oba Ademolaju sought the assistance of all local governments in the state for the Agency to curb the menace at the grassroots level. On his part, Asana who represented the state governor, Engr. Segun Oni, described the new seizure as a tremendous success compared to what was destroyed last year, calling for the sustenance of the pace set by the NDLEA in the state. In his comment, the state chairman of Patent Medicine Operators, Chief David Falaki called for the enactment of a law banning the sales of drugs at motor parks, blaming such sales for most of the accidents recorded in the country. His words: “I want to passionately appeal to the state government to enact a law that would ban the sale of drugs and drinks at our various motor parks, in order to minimize the rate of accidents being witnessed across the country. Most of the drivers take different kinds of drinks and drugs before embarking on any journey and shortly after take-off they either become weak or doze off while on the steering wheels. Let us take a drastic step on this now and step down the rate of carnage on our ways.” |
babyosisi: I thought it was Ondo that had the degree in marijuana cultivationNo! Ekiti, small but mighty in ''Igbo'' cultivation, trade and consumption. Let me pull up some old threads. They are followed closely though by their cousins in Ondo. |
Aigbofa: Lies! Tell the truth and shame the devil. The other thing you guys in Ekiti are good at is planting marijuana farms. |
babyosisi: This is so personal to youHe is from Ekiti and the poor educational system there rubbed off on him. Can't you see how he argues like a blind bat? |
Is this the same Ekiti or do we wait for another? They have 1000 professors, 995 of them got their degrees in Yoruba Culture and Religion. Not surprising therefore that they cannot pass SIMPLE Bank recruitment exams. |
claremont: She is 100% German from Hamburg, Germany. That doesn't take away the fact that she is a very pretty lady though, I just thought I should clear this up.German of Igbo origin. However, deep in the heart of an average white German on the street she is Afrikanish (Igbo). |

http://odili.net/news/source/2013/may/30/816.html Lagos Mushin turning into drug-infested Favelas in Brazil? Drug barons fuelling mayhem in Mushin, Lagos - Residents by Simon Utebor Some concerned residents of Mushin, Lagos State, say drug barons are responsible for the recurring mayhem in the area. The residents insisted that until the relevant authorities in the state smashed the syndicate, the hope for lasting peace would be an illusion. They said it was the drug barons that had been sponsoring hoodlums to unleash mayhem on the people. The residents spoke against the backdrop of crises in the area resulting in deaths, while many were injured and unspecified number of property was destroyed. A community leader, who craved anonymity for fear of reprisals, said the problems in Mushin could only be tackled if those drugs barons were arrested. He said the drug dealers had been sponsoring mayhem in the areas to make the residents lose focus on their illicit activities. He said, "For long, we have been trying to get rid of the bad boys - drug dealers. They are there in Akala area. They sell their drugs openly. "The police will come there to raid but after the barons must have settled them, they allow the dealers to continue business as usual. Come to Mushin, you see them displaying drugs openly. "The last time the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency officials raided the place, the dealers knew beforehand. They usually pay for protection. When you go there, you will see many strange things happening. "The buildings are mud houses but the cars parked there are exotic ones. The most annoying thing is that the drug peddlers do not live in Mushin, but they come there to sell their drugs and foment troubles." He said the troublemakers always used their thugs and cultists to fight those they accused of non-cooperation. He regretted that the police were not doing enough to tackle the situation. An Idi-Oro resident, who identified himself simply as Ola, buttressed the community leader's standpoint, saying the drug barons thrived in crisis. He also shed light on last Sunday May 19 mayhem and said the two persons - Lanre Pumping and Monsuru 50 Cent – being fingered as the cause of the crisis were innocent residents of the area. Ola said the crisis started at a naming ceremony at Alhaji Ota Street when rival cults members attacked one another. He said, "One of the victims was taken to a nurse at Idi-Oro but she refused to attend to him (victim) because there was no police report. The man died thereafter. That was why they gathered from 12.30am to 4.30am on Sunday. Later, they invaded the area, burning cars and burgling houses before the police came around 7am." "The situation is worrisome. We want the relevant authorities to tackle the recurring problem in Mushin, particularly the drug barons that are fuelling the crisis." Another resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, urged the authorities to investigate the mayhem with a view to bringing the culprits to book. He said, "The residents need help. We are fed up with the recurring crises. For many of us, we do not know where to go."
