Now, i need to talk. I have been a silent fan of MAzi and i subscribed to Nairaland because of MAzi and blue-eyes. I am not feeling MAzi again.. he is updating just for the sake of updates. Why are the mods hiding his posts? The other one about the camp was more explicit than this and there was no hiding of posts. Seun, please do something, cos if MAZI leaves, i follow. Don't know abt others but i am not feeling MAzi again.
MAzi, don't be discouraged. We, your fans are the100% behind u. Keep up d good work.

Hi alexray,
Please be careful of these tour guides. do not on any account allow them to price things for you. they use their language to up the prices of goods. pick the things you want and price them yourself.
As for particular shops names, i really do not remember names now but i know how to get there from the nigerian restaurants there.
I have never stayed in an hotel, i usually stay with my brother in Jumeira Lakes Towers but i have friends who live in Shajah i can ask for good hotels and shop names for you.
When do you want to travel, you can give me till tomorrow afternoon to get them for you.
Lace materials are very cheap there too if you are interested and they also have their own China Town too.

Hello everybody,
My little contributions goes thus:

for Dubai holidays-get to any of the airlines or agents, the visa is just 200 USD. I usually go with QATAR Airlines and i have never sked them for hotel accommodation. deira is where the shopping is and hotels around that place are btw 120 and 150 dhrs which is abt N4,800 to N6,000.
for the person with 350k, you can get visa for 32k, flight for 125k, hotel for 5 days at 6k per night is 30k, total of N187k. you will have only abt N170k which is about 1,000 usd for shopping and transport. most of the things you want to buy are there in deira but if you want designers, you go to city center where the malls are. there is also nigerian restaurant there in deira, so you would not miss home. the popular gold sou is also in deira.

for Qatar holidays and working visas--you can make enquiries at qatar airline and it is just for 14 days and it cost just 100Qrh which is about N4,500. but for the work permit, you need to go through a sponsor who will do all your papers over there and right from Nigeria, you are going with your work permit OR a company, who will also process your work permit and send to you and you are going with all your documents intact from Nigeria. pls shine your eyes abt these so called agents. what most of them do is to get the visiting visas for you on the pretext that when you get there, they process your work permits and when you get there, they become incommunicado. you cannot get through to their numbers again. so you would have spent about N400K to N500K on a visa that would ordinarily cost you 100 qrh, about N4,500. I rest my case.

Family / Re: My Sister In Law Slapped Me by fumkos: 2:31pm On Jan 31, 2013
the day any of my sisters in law try it, i will collect that hand wey she use slap me from her. dem no even fit try am. you have to let them know who you really are from the onset. sorry to say, but you caused it. i feel you are too soft, you even stopped your husband from beating her. you should hv allowed him to teach her a lesson she will never forget. there is nothing wrong in allowing her free access to your house but you need to 'paramo'. what you don't want pple to take, you don't keep where they will see it. i beg, forget the aunty stuff, she knows you don't like her calling you by name and she will continue to use it to taunt you. your home is your home, take charge. sebi she is a woman, leave her, a much younger person in her husband's place will beat her up not only slap. what you sow, you will reap. she don sow slapping, she will reap beating, shikena.
Family / Re: A Married Lady Committed An Adultery And Told Her Hubby by fumkos: 5:55pm On Jan 30, 2013
adl: The woman has made a fundamental mistake in marrying a guy that physically abuses her. She needs to correct that mistake before she gets killed. Going back to her ex was wrong and there is no justification for that. Won't advice her to tell her hubby cos guys don't forgive such act. She shld rather find a way to let the husband stop beating her and run away from her ex permanently.

I honestly agree with you but the problem now is that she has told her husband and men actually do not forgive such things. There is nothing wrong in having your Ex's contact number but i feel the woman in question was wrong to even discuss her marital problems with the Ex.
Secondly, why is she tired of the beating all of a sudden? This beating has been going on even before the marriage.
My submission: she should go to their pastor or imam to intervene and after it has been settled or after the outcome of the intervention, she should find something to do with herself. An idle hand is the devil's workshop.

We called our geography teacher ''Mr Longitude" because of his height and our english teacher ''Mr Bediewo'' because when he wants to flog us, he will be singing 'how many strokes make one bediewo?' and we will be answering 'six strokes make one bediewo' and he always beat our buttocks.
