But his supporters claim it was urgent to make the purchase of an equipment they won't have until 2020. That's dumb.

After reading the main story and comments above, I've come to a conclusion that we're a country in perpetual darkness. Is Buhari the INEC that will ensure transparency of elections? What should be Buhari's role in the next election in Ekiti or should have been his role in the past one in Anabra? He shouldn't have any more role than i do- at best vote if he is a registerd voter in that state or follow the election process. We're a country that believe so much in individuals rather than institutions.

He was right. The money was used to pursue Jonathan's second term ambition. That's how Dasuku himself got in jail and Olisah Metuh going in and out of court. Does that makes sense?

Dr. Olufon. I think you missed the point in your piece. You started by saying you will focus on the message and not the messenger. But in every section of your writing, you referenced the messenger. I think your writing is confusing and sentimental. OBJ was part of the problem you outlined. I will agree with you on that. But Buhari's government was voted in to fix that problem. The question is how well has Buhari's government performed after 3 years in office. The answer is obvious.

Thanks for letting us know about the question of if OBJ has the moral authority to write what he wrote. One thing that I think should be of utmost concern to us is the message, and not the messenger. OBJ boldly spoke what has been in the minds of many Nigerians since the inception of this administration, and that should be our focus. This administration was brought in to fix what has already gone bad and it is by this measure that they should be judged.

Mr. Sagay's talk is disappointing. You said the appointments that were made today were compiled about 2 years ago. And no revision was made to this list, nobody took a second look at the document before it was ratified by the President. It's so embarrassing that a professor of law can excuse such gross incompetence by the government.

Its disappointing that our venerable lawmakers could condescend to plead for a tempory ceasefire form BANDITS. Their plea should been chanelled to relevant SECURITY AGENCIES and not CRIMINALS. Also, security of life and property of the PEOPLE ( not only FOREIGNERS) DURING and AFTER the champoionship should be their utmost concern. Their resolution simply shows a decline of discipline and character in our plublic institutions.
