The Others 9/10.

I'm not a fan of horror movies because even in my adult stage, they scare me silly. If I'd known The Others was a horror movie, I probably would've turn down the opportunity to watch it, but I'm glad I didn't.

I see all horror movies as movies made to strike fear into people's hearts garnished with grotesque killings, blood littered everywhere and ugly, scary creatures. The Others is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the horror movies genre. It's a horror movie meant to educate you rather than the usual primary purpose of scaring you. I've not watched a lot of horrors, but the few I've watched, The Others is without an iota of doubt the most creative and intelligent. The ending is just too revealing and shocking. Certainly saving it in my hard drive.

The one I saw is 2001 movies I just downloaded it now, will watch it later I hope it the same.

Me, even if I'm dying, i can never ask a female for money. ... I can ask my fellow guys, but i never ask a woman, even if it means trecking from lekki to v.i.

Honestly, i have never seen your type of woman before. Almost all the ladies i have dated (except the first one) and female friend are the type that demand this and that but they'll never give. When some of my friends tell me their girls gave them money, it sounds like super story to me cos I've never seen anything like that before.

The way i see am, it's like the guy used you to test run his yahoo yahoo plus jazz. He just said something and you just coughed out the money like that. If it is not jazz, tell me what it is.

Any grown up adult male, as far as he is not physically challenged or handicapped should be able to work to provide his basic needs. Read the opening posts of how i lost my laptop in my diary.

Till now, i haven't been able to get another laptop due to tight finances.... But despite of that i have never beg anyone for money for such stuffs.


Let me repeat this please, any man able bodied man, as far as he is not physically challenged, should be able to hustle to take care of his basic needs. For a grown up man to be asking ppl he doesn't even know to give him money, such man doesn't have shame... And after they've collected the money, they'll start bragging to their friends about how they earn free money without breaking a sweat.

Except someone is terminally sick and needs money for treatment, hold your purse tight. 419/maga mentality has eaten so deep into the Nigerian fabric be it, economic, politics, socially and culturally, you'll always see people who are ever waiting and ready everywhere Nigeria is concerned to play maga and take advantage of free spirited people.

Anyone can do what he did to you... Brother, cousin, husband or in-law, anyone can do it as far as they're Nigerian. I've seen in front of my eyes how a bros ate 150k out of someone's 250k and to date he hasn't paid him. The owner of the money said he's moved on.

So see it as one of those things and look forward. Next time a grown up adult beg you for money under whatever guise when he is not sick or physically challenged, just tell him point blank to go and hustle.

There was this lady that called out one of the popular guys in Travel Section (dont keep their IDs for head biko). Omo, the thread was on fire and threats were made from the scammer. People dug out his Facebook ID, posted his pics all over, exposed his modus operandi (Australia inclusive). Well, the guy didnt back down, and major concern was the threats made to NLders based in Dubai especially to one Lady popular in Travel Section.
Then, the unbelievable happened ooo Nairaland went offline for close to 24hours. On return, threads were wiped out (backdated for over a year). Omoooo, everyone suspected the fraudster. Till date, no record of that thread Painful something. Everything happened so fast. Think it all happened within 3 days

Please nairalanders i kindly need your advice on this family issue. my elder bro met this girl sometime last two years after having too many disappointments in relationship. he said he wants to finally settle down that he is tired of waiting and disappointments.

Now the serious problem is both of them are genotype AS, but my brother does not care, he still wants to go ahead with the marriage. With my experience, I will never advise couples who are both AS to marry. But it is just a matter of choice and the courage to face whatever the outcome.
