PoliticsRe: Comparing Developmental Projects Of Ogun State And Ebony State by furrr(m): 10:12am On Jun 30, 2017
Op this phenomena baffles me too....... for example kano and jigawa...... jigawa is one of the youngest and poorest state using both IGR and allocation as a basis .........

But the road infrastructure in the state is wow by Nigerian standards

So the question here is what are the richer states doing with their money.......

Road construction as at 2017

PoliticsRe: PHOTOS: Emir Sanusi At Eid Prayers by furrr(m): 8:38pm On Jun 25, 2017
IamaNigerianGuy:
Tell that crap(with all due respect) to other gullible people.

1. Since 1805 when the last indigenous ruler and Sultan of Kano was defeated by the Fulani, Kano has been an Emirate of the Sokwoto Caliphate. All political and religious authority derives from Sokwoto. He carries the sword of conquest.

2. The Sanusi I know is trying to pass a message. Do you think that his wearing a sword is accidental at this time when there is so much agitation against the Hausa / Fulani ? At a time when a power shift is possible ?
When was the last time you saw an Emir wear a sword to lead prayers ? I cant remember and I have been following the news since I was a child.
What you fail to mention.. or simply not true is...

1 kano has never throughout its history had a sultan

2 when the fulani defeated the habe (hausa) kings they did not abolish their heritage and culture infact they adopted it

3 And to say that somehow kings in kano started wearing swords during the era of the fulani rule is simply false

4 sokoto has no influence whatsoever in the traditional and cultural heritage of kano infact it has no say on who is and isn't king..... What sokoto has is Islamic influence not only over hausa land but throughout present day nigeria and parts of niger republic

5 and the last point is purely speculation as you cannot possibly provide any evidence that he is wearing it because of biafra agitation...... undecided

PoliticsRe: PHOTOS: Emir Sanusi At Eid Prayers by furrr(m): 8:09pm On Jun 25, 2017
IamaNigerianGuy:
And there lies the origin of all the problems muslims bring to the world.
For those of you who wish to know, Sanusi is wearing a sword to symbolize his perceived duty to conquer 'infidels' in the name of Allah under the authority of the Sultan in Sokoto.
This is a problem with some of you guys you don't criticise in genuine manner

If you don't understand why the emir is wearing a sword simply ask and don't provide fake information you can't prove

And here are some real facts....

1)Now the reason why sanusi is wearing a sword has got nothing to do with religion ........

2) sanusi is not only a religious leader he is also a traditional leader....... with the latter being more pronounced... hence wearing a sword is traditional symbol like his turban, his cape, and their designs etc

3)sarki or kings in hausa land have beign wearing swords long before islam came to hausa land......

4) and lastly if you still hold to your beliefs after the facts I have just provided..... show us any evidence from islam or any Islamic country where they wear sword to pray..... undecided

faizsanusi:
There is something I don't get here from the picture, the place this big guys er staying is screened from the remaining followers. This is absurd.
There is nothing absurd about it if you don't understand something simply ask.....

The reason why there are screened is that the eid prayer unlike normal everyday prayer cannot be held inside a mosque it is an open air prayer service as there is literally millions of people coming from different parts of kano just to attend the eid prayer in this particular emirs prayer ground

The influx of millions people create a problem ..... i.e due to the obvious lack of adequate space people position themselves anywhere they could find, N,E,W,S this makes it hard to locate the imam who leads the prayer and as such people may find it difficult to no the position to face that's why a physically structure is erected to guide the people towards the imam...... hope that's helpful grin

PoliticsRe: Igbo Community In Kogi Rejects Biafra Agitation by furrr(m): 8:37am On Jun 20, 2017
I feel for the guy..... but the truth is ipob has done a great disservice to the Igbo people they have succeeded in destroying the fragile relationship that exist between most nigerians
And the igbos especially northerners...... unfortunately restructuring or not most northerners don't want to have anything to do with the igbos at the moment undecided

You guys will forever be called cowards if you don't keep to your October 1st deadline.
The real cowards are the ones that have been shouting for two years calling nigeria and it's people unprintable names going around the world soliciting for arms and ammunition....... saying that they have been enslaved and forced to live with other nigeria...... And now that their wish is granted...... They start looking for every and any excuse to remain with their alleged slave masters..... "a freed slave does not come back to his master to request transport fare" just go please..... undecided
PoliticsRe: A Landlocked Biafra Vs A Deadlocked Northern Nigeria, Who Actually Has The Keys by furrr(m): 9:21pm On Jun 15, 2017
deedeedee1:
Yes. But the northerners are more parasitic
This is the problem with some of you guys

You come to our land to trade........ trading that involves buying and selling ie you buy from manufactures and sell to us...... in this relationship it's clear that you guys benefit more........ Now if a country say nigeria was to have a fallout with usa when the trade is greatly skewed to the benefit of 9ja who do you think will suffer more.......

What the easterners fail to understand is that it's not like you go to the north to establish factories that employ local people in the north
What your people do is TRADING that can easily be replaced...........

To make it more clearer
You guys are the SELLERS the north is the BUYER it dosent take a genius to understand who benefit more from this relationship.......

There is nothing the easterners bring to the table that cannot be easily replaced......

Now calling anyone a parasite is strictly and cautiously reserved for the SS guys which you guys are desperately trying to attache by force........

Just saying undecided

Nigerian Breweries import Barley, mix it with malted sorghum and maiza to produce wort( extract sugar ) this sugar is fermented to produce star.

Do you know that Star is exported to the UK.?

We can go to Ghana to buy their Shea butter seed, process it to a better agro allied product and export it to Tanzania

We can go to Tanzania, get an agricultural product, convert it to a useful product and sell it to Ghana

It is pure common economic sense

When will Afonjas open your mind
Why are you not doing all what you just mentioned currently you don't need to have your country to do all that....... unless it's not economically feasible to do so........... And with all your supposed technical and educational prowess two state in the north have an IGR bigger than the entire south east states combined...........

And come to think of it what is stopping the north from doing exactly what you just mentioned........ undecided
