Exactly .... ganduje fortunately for kano has been doing this since the commencement of his administration....

His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR in Nottingham, United Kingdom on an official inspection of the equipments for the skills acquisition centre which is being built by his adminstration in Kano for our youths. It is expected that over 25 skills will be taught at the Centre when completed, and the structure has already been completed.

I have noticed that Most states in Nigeria tend to have only one major city and its usually the state capital. But in the south east, each state usually have more than one major city.

Abia state: Aba, Umuahia

Anambra state: Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi

IMO state: Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe

Ebonyi state: Abakaliki, and Afikpo

Enugu state: Enugu and Nsukka


This is in addition to surrounding towns that are also developing into their own future cities.

Kano metropolis is just 1 lga that form what we now called kano city others include; fage, gwale, Dala ,tarauni ,kumbotso etc kano city is made up of 8 different lgas and counting

The kano state government in its effort for continued urban renewal and traffic alleviation initiative has unveiled the model of an underpass and flyover to decongest the famous dangi roundabout off Aliyu bn abi talib mosque and zoo road in kano metropolis

The project is included in the 2018 budget at the cost of 4 bn and has been given the green light by the kano state government executive council...

Even today this flyover is relevant 。。。a huge chunk of commercial activities in kano happen in the area where the flyover is being constructed ..... I answered him but he chose to ignore it......

Well most non indigens of kano live and conduct their business in Sabon gari where the flyover is being built

Am confused o, Engineers in the house, please won't a normal wide road do the job of that fly over.

Wide road with concrete demarcation in the middle lane will do the job of that bridge, just like Palmgrove - Maryland axis , the place will even be more beautiful and less costly

I believe this bridge madness where it is not needed is a form of stealing from government. These governors are devils hand tool in Nigeria.

There is already a wide road underneath the flyover probably one of the widest in the state but due the fact that Sabon gari area of kano state is the biggest commercial area comprising of more than 5 different major markets, there is still a huge hold up caused by traffic hence the need for the flyover
