I can go on and on untill kingdom come Yes we have problems and we shall overcome them because that's what we do We don't like to chest beat because it's not in our character And FYI there are millions of kins and brothers here in the north too doing menial jobs..... Well I am not surprised after countless anambara vs abia vs imo etc when your people can't respect one another you bunch of uncultured bigot Let respect one another and we shall have peace and prosper...

FriendChoice:This is exactly what I am talking about having cities in different locations does not mean that the cities are bigger than kano. kano municipal is the capital of kano but kano has expanded into so many local government that you can't actually tell which local government you are in within the city Now he said anambara have 5 cities no one is arguing that except that all the 5 five cities put together are not as big as kano metropolitan area Ps.. Kano is a continuous city expanding into local government close to the city Now if we should agree on his logic then Kaduna city is bigger tha kano because of zaria.... |
B2mario:Look nobody is comparing kano to any state in the north. Kano is probably the smallest state in the north what I am saying is that someone was comparing kano to onitsha and abakiliki, etc when kano is roughly the size of the entire southeastern states combined and if you still think I am lying do your research about the size of kano vs southeast..... |
B2mario:Mumu... just because Nigeria does not draw line on our roads does not mean that the roads are small Now 6 lane means the road can accommodate 3 vehicles each on either side of the road making it six...... |
malton:Don't mind him.... Kano is just waking up [due to recession] about collecting taxes ..when kano tax collection authority is fully functional... they will flood nairaland telling people how it is them that are contributing more to kano igr |
basilo102:And who told you the one in kano is in the state capital...... Kano metropolitan area comprises of more than 10 LGAS each of which is bigger than all the cities you keep presenting here.... This underpass is in kumbotso LGA And ps... Kano underpass is a state government project while the one in onitsha is a fedral government project.... |
basilo102:Don't say things you don't know my guy.... First kano city [metro] is made up of almost ten LGAS..... eg kano municipal, gwale, dala, tarauni, kumbotso, fagge etc each of which is bigger than all those cities you mentioned combined Second about high ways... kano to zaria road [of which 80% is in kano] is a 6 lane highway tha covers more than 100km which extends to kaduna to Abuja for another 150km Kano to maiduguri 326km Kano to katsina 85km.... etc you catch my drift And to recap this interchange project is a state government project what you keep showing us in onitsha is a fedral government project similar to the one we have here in kano along Zaria road....... CHECK YOUR FACTS BEFORE COMING HERE TO COMMENT |
What I can say to all those comparing kano and the south east is that you need to visit kano Kano[probably the smallest state in the north] is almost as big as the entire south east states put together ... what this means is that if kano wants to build a road from an LGA in northern kano to another LGA in southern kano is like building a road across the entire SE thesame also applies to laying pipe for water, electric poles and wires, government outreach programmes and other utilities Ps enugu the largest state in the SE is just the size of three or four LGA's in kano..... YOU DO THE MATH |
basilo102:Thanks bro ![]() |
And just to recap.... Giginyu specialist hospital loading....... 95% I will be doing a separate thread ones the hospital is commissioned by the president including equipment and the general interior of the hospital ![]()
|
B2mario:That might be true But the truth is this man is trying his best to impress kano people Here is another underpass construction along kofar ruwa in kano
|
raker300:I don't know where you get your information But I live in kano not far from the underpass in question and I know that the entire project started in 2016 unless GEJ is still the president of Nigeria or he used his personal money I don't see how it is possible for him to build the underpass ![]() |

basilo102:It look similar but not identical The ramp of kano underpass is bellow ground Think of it this way the one in kano is an underpass while the one in onitsha is a flyover similar to the one here in kano along zaria road ![]() |

lexing:Carry on... Permission granted |
homesteady:My guy this project is not a residential project This is a gigantic market....... |
matrixme:And yet kano is only second to lagos when it comes to hosting non indigenes And by the way are you aware that kano has been historically a business hub where people from across the globe come to do business..... I don't understand this level of thinking what will you have kano state government do.. to sit and not make any effort and who says there are not enough people in kano to drive this investment And ps... Kano is the size of some countries in the world including UAE both in population and size |
IPOB123london:My guy this is a ppp the government will provide 15% and the land while the company will provide the remaining balance ![]() |
FriendChoice:I wonder my brother this is probably the biggest project in the north and yet no front page...... ![]() |
