Nefort:I have been refraining myself from being disrespectful but for a dumb person to call my response dumb, I will now show him how dumb he is. If you don't see any wisdom and counsel for Obi in all that I wrote, I must say you're very p@thetic. Anyone with average IQ would know that I am neither supporting Obi nor Tinubu. I have woven my words as advice for Obi. Are you this unwise? Tinubu presented himself as is. He didn't say, hey, I am the one who will rescue Nigeria from bad leadership. Did he say so? Those who wanted him still voted for him. He never claimed sainthood! Now, Obi is the one saying he wants to rescue Nigeria from bad leadership when he is a bad leader himself. Tinubu cannot use that mantra because he himself cannot call himself a good leader. That'll be deception. So, he presented himself as is. Obi decided to deceive instead of him to also present himself as is, or go the apology way, and reinvent himself. If Obi says he wants to rescue Nigeria from bad leadership, I will not trust him because he is also a known bad leader. But if he apologizes, and shows remorse for his past leadership actions with a view to setting new new records as president, he will have my ears. And he will have the ears of many more Nigerians! But for a bad leader to come and say he's the one that'll rescue the country from bad leadership without first renouncing his bad past, he is just a joker. He can only bewitch foolish people. The best strategy for Obi is to first position himself as one who.has renounced his bad past and is ready to make amends as president. If Obi has positioned himself this way, then, I wouldn't need to ask if he rescued Anambra because he has already owned that past, and has decided to make amends. Simple wisdom! That's the way he can get thinking Nigerians behind him. He will distinguish himself among other politicians. I don't know why I must be doing kindergarten explanations for an adult. It's very d*mb of you to be bringing Tinubu into.the matter because Tinubu never claimed himself a Messiah. Atiku never claimed himself a Messiah. If these two people also claim Messiah as Obi is doing, the best strategy for them too is the apology strategy. First own your past because everyone already knows it. Afterwards, cast a new vision. The fact that you owned your bad past will enable you gain trust. People will say "Let's give him a SECOND chance." Even people like Reno Omokri will not be able to pick on him. If Obi is who he claims to be, why is he not using his governance past in Anambra as a testament to what he's capable of doing in Nigeria? Why can't he make any reference to his Anambra performance? You want to answer that for him? It's because he knows he was a failure! But instead of owning that failure, he wants to deceive his way into the presidency. That's what makes him dangerous. Atiku doesn't need to own any past because he has not promised any new thing. He just wants to be president. That's all. He's presenting himself as is. If you.like him like that, vote for him. He is not deceiving anybody claiming the only saintly man that'll rescue Nigeria like Obi is doing. Let Obi also present himself as is! Simple. He should stop the deception. Or better still, he should come out clean, then cast a new vision. That'll be a highly effectively and strategic move. Or, if you still disagree, kindly tell me why Obi is not using Anambra to campaign for his presidency? I will be waiting. And i.am still waiting for the result of your d@mb talk "I judge people by their most recent actions". You have still not told me the most recent governance actions Obi has taken that made you trust him. Lol. |
Nefort:Obviously, you're just holding brief for your man. Tell me the recent governance actions of Obi that endeared him to you. I'll be waiting. Are you referring to Tinubu or Peter Obi because I am very much confused here. Bola Tinubu is the person that an apology is desperately needed from. His dirty laundry is what makes Peter Obi a saint when you compare both. A drug lord with a controversial background and the corrupt looter and Godfather of Lagos State who milks the state resources. This is the person an apology is really needed from. You should be ashamed of yourself for supporting such a person. Why would Tinubu need an apology when he never portrayed himself as a saint? He only said Enikookan, and that's all. If you like, vote for him, if you like, don't. Obi, on the other hand portrays himself as a saint when his antecedents says otherwise. He should first clear his name. Show remorse before claiming sainthood. Then, vee can say "Perhaps, he has changed". But with his current narratives, he is a deceiver. And Tinubu is the one who has integrity? What sort of clowning is this.?Read me with understanding. I didn't use unusual grammar in my texts. Tinubu is not claiming sainthood. Obi is. I didn't support Tinubu because I know him to be correct. But, he became president and hit the ground running. So far so good, I love his policies. I may not like them man but I.like his actions because that's what we need to turn Nigeria around. Obi should stop portraying himself as a saint. He's not one. He should tell us he wants to be president, that's all. Just as some people voted Tinubu, they'll vote him too. He doesn't have to lie. If your name is Tunde or you are directly benefiting from Tinubu government you may say so so I would perfectly understand why you love Tinubu and then I would pardon you. You're thinking very immaturely. Are you supporting Obi because you Arere benefiting from him? Let me know so,I can understand you. |
Nefort:Can you just imagine what you.just spewed up there? I don't see any wisdom in "seeing him as someone who has realized his past mistakes" when he never said he did. And that's the very reason I distrust him. He is portraying himself as a saint when he is not one. He should first go clear himself, apologize for that his past, then he can tell us how he'll rescue Nigeria. That would be more honorable. This his lack of integrity in the way he portrays himself is the very red ♥️ flag that makes me say NOT OBI. Such a person who has done no good but portrays himself as the best of all men, is a very dangerous man. |
Nefort:You made me laugh. At least you agree that you're an.Obu hyper. I don't hype anybody belong I do not belong to anybody's camp. I'm a distant observer of all the political camps in Nigeria. I am not a supporter of anybody. What I say is just the truth that I see right now. That doesn't mean I won't criticize Tinubu in the next 30 minutes if I see him take a wrong action. Why don't you look through my Nairaland journey to see that I'm not a political scavenger. But, Tinubu has no hypers like Obi who is hyper morning and night by his goons. So Tinubu wasn't cursed when he was governor of Lagos State? And he is still currently being cursed as a disastrous president of Nigeria. Now, you're talking. Tinubu wasn't cursed when he was governor. Infact, he was celebrated. Hope that answers your question. You can just find out how he became the Lagos kingmaker. It was influence earned through trust. But, before he became president, I hated him. To me, he was the most corrupt politician in Nigeria. I rated Obi above him. I was disappointed when Tinubu was declared winner of the 2023 election. I didn't expect anything from a Tinubu presidency..However, my perception of him began to change when I saw the work he was doing. One thing very annoying about Obi is his absolute lack of sincerity. Trying to portray himself differently from what he is known to be is the most obnoxious form of image laundering to me. Very detestable. If Obi has effectively come out and said "Hey, fellow Nigerians. I'm sorry I was part of the rotten leadership of this country, and i must admit that I have had my own many failings as a leader. However, I feel very sorry for my own leadership failures; and right now I humbly request a chance to lead this country to correct the leadership failings of many years. I've been there and I know exactly what to do to make things right." With this type of positioning, Obi would have gained my topmost respect instead of the hypocritical campaigns he's doing all about. It makes me see him as a deceiver. Honestly. I can never trust such a man in my life. He has no integrity. Obi has a very bad past in leadership going as far back as the Abacha days. He should just stop the deception. Tinubu is a bad man but he clearly means well for Nigeria. This is without any doubt. Obi on the other hand is playing a game of deceit, making himself a saint when he's not one. I love that you yourself confessed you know the man is not a saint. You should be concerned about his deception. Maybe there's another man out there that can beat Tinubu's record of repositioning Nigeria for greatness. There are, most definitely, but not Obi. Obi does not have the intelligence and the capacity to turn things around like Tinubu is currently doing. Just listen to his speech. He doesn't have that intelligence. Finally, I am a supporter of Nigeria. Anything good for Nigeria is good for me. I don't support individual politicians or parties. That's foolishness. I support good governance, and the actions taken conscientiously by leaders to deliver Nigeria from its hydra headed woes. |
Donsheddy:My friend, you don't understand national economics. If charts are turning green, they'll soon affect everything. Destruction is always instant. But, to build anything, it takes time! It's easier for a vehicle to lounge into a ditch than for it to come out of it. Presently, our vehicle is trying to get out of that ditch of economic woes. And you can see the president really sweating it out. And the results are on the charts. Charts feel changes before humans do. That's why they're used for prediction. You made me laugh when you said stick market increased because the prices of goods increased. This makes me understand the average intelligence of Obi followers. They know next to nothing about economics. Prices of goods only increased naira, not in dollars. The dollar prices remain the same. The naira prices changed because the exchange rate changed. Exchange rate changed because dollar subsidies were removed. How can a nation be subsiding the exchange rate, petrol and electricity? How would that nation grow especially when they're borrowing money to pay those subsidies. That has been the reality of Nigeria from PSP days. Buhari came on board and continued in that trajectory. Tinubu' had to quickly intervene to save the country. But, like children who don't understand why elders endure hunger in the hot sun while working hard in-between the ridges, the unlearned individuals must cry. They don't understand that the sweating elders are trying to secure the tomorrow. You'll see them crying of hunger and disturbing mummy "let's go home. I want to eat." I just hope you understand my analogy. They don't know that the full belly of tomorrow is achieved in the hunger we suffer today. I'm talking about a hopeless country called Nigeria. The past leaders were just running it aground. Everyone was following the status quo. Nobody tried anything new until Tinubu came aboard. Blame the past leaders who plunged us into the ditch. It is very ungrateful of anyone to despise what the current regime is doing to right the wrongs of many years. It is no longer business as usual. Everyone should endure. We will soon have the Nigeria of our dreams. I can say categorically that, future presidents who will take the reigns of power after Tinubu will have little work to do because Tinubu already laid the foundation. If they mean evil for Nigeria, they just reverse all the reforms and let the country go on a free flow as it continues to spiral downwards. But, you see, people like us would leave Nigeria for you guys who cannot jettison present comfort for future gains. |
Donsheddy:No no no no. We're not talking about government actions or policies. We're talking about results here. I would have loved you to reference the international praises you were talking about but since you're talking about praises for actions, it doesn't fall within the line of this argument. Tinubu is not being praised for actions. Nobody is even praising him. They're observing charts and are seeing that it is looks green 💚 for Nigeria. That's on a different level entirely. |
Donsheddy:You're just reacting to the situation instead of responding. The man has only eight years. He won't be president forever. If he should introduce reforms gradually, how would he be able to achieve anything? As at the time he became president, there was nothing in the nation's coffers to even pay subsidy. Buhari was borrowing money to pay subsidy. How can any nation survive on such? Can you just imagine? If we continue borrowing money to pay subsidy for 10 more years, what would become of the country? However, I understand that people are hungry. But if we continue to borrow to feed, when will we build our country? |
Nefort:Lol. See how you contradicted yourself. "AI does not rely on hype but it relies on public data to make its decisions." Lol. I can show things I've built with AI so you can know I'm not a novice. Lol. I have 100s of AI projects in my GitHub Repo. You should listen to me. AI relies on public data as you said. That is publicly available information. That means, it feeds on all the hypes you guys have spread all over the Internet whenever it crawls. It absorbs them and trains on them, and therefore uses them and parts of its decision making logic. That's why all AI companies will give you a caveat for every AI input you make - "ChatGpt can make mistakes..." But you are here telling me that AI is very accurate. Lol. I have defeated AIs in arguments on occasions. And, it'll come back to acknowledge that I was right. Lol. Peter Obi was cursed when he was governor of Anambra. Even right here on Nairaland, he was heavily insulted during his tenure. See proof below. You cannot make him a saint today. His antecedents are already speaking. I have attached screenshots of Nairaland threads from Anambra dated as far back as 2008 when Obi was still in office.
|
Donsheddy:Why are you guys always lying? Give me proof of what international observers said similarly during Buhari. Which inflation is flying? Give me the figured of where inflation was when this regime came to power. Compare that to where it is now. |
Donsheddy:Worst than Buhari because things are expensive? Is that? You're being myopic. We don't calculate development by the price of food in the market. We calculate development by the efforts government is making today to turn tomorrow around. Yes, there'll be pains when a stunted country is forced to grow. Open your eyes and see what international investors are seeing. See why the Nigerian stock market is now a trillion dollar market. See why governors of national banks are coming to learn from CBN. Climb the tallest mountain in your area to see why International watchdogs are awed. See why Nigeria is now number 3 on the list of countries developing Africa. You.guys won't appreciate good leadership until you lose it! |
Nefort:Lol. It seems you're a novice regarding AI. I'm an AI Guru. So, you should listen tor. AI has aggregated all your hypes about Peter Obi to make its judgment. Real humans cursed Peter Obi as governor. Where was AI that time? Obi don't conduct Local Government election until the last year of his tenure. He can't account for all the Local Government funds he collected today. Tinubu was deprived Local Government funds by the Obasanjo government. Maybe you were still.youjg at the time. In spite of the lack of LG funds, the Local Governments were well maintained and the local authorities didn't feel the heat of Obasanjo's high handedness. Tell AI these two naked truths above and it'll speak more sense next time. |
Donsheddy:Go and hear what international observers are saying, maybe you can use their lenses to see. The country was being run like an animal farm since 1960 till.date, and you want that amount of rot to be fixed in 4 years? Electricity is improving. We can see the deliberate efforts Tinubu is making. We are not yet there but are now better positioned to grow. You guys won't appreciate good leadership until you lose it The country was previously moving backwards. Today, it's now taking a U turn in preparation to start moving forward. That's still progress. Now, we can see we're creating a country for ourselves. In former years, we were all just in a farm being run by company managers for gains. Nigeria wasn't a country. Hopefully, Tinubu would successfully make it one. |
Donsheddy:Lies! Buhari was a flat failure and you cannot find any of my posts supporting from the days of his campaigns till he left this world. I didn't support Tinubu until he became president and started working for real. |
Donsheddy:Absolutely! Tinubu is the best President Nigeria ever had till.date. He is currently cleaning the rots of many decades and repositioning the country for stability. This is why you see all the pains around you. It's the pain of growth. If Tinubu hadn't come around, only God knows what Nigeria would have become in just 10yrs time. The reason there's hardship is because he refused to maintain the status quo. No country can develop given the way Nigeria was being previously run. Now, intelligent people including global investors, presidents of developed nations, international watchdogs, etc are beginning to rate the country high. The Nigerian stock market is now a trillion dollar market So, what are you talking about? Intelligent people know Tinubu is doing excellently. Politicians won't admit it because they're selfish. The masses have average-to-low intellectual capacity to understand anything. Hence, the cries you guys are crying. I had lost hope in Nigeria before now but I now have hope in this country. Except for security which I know he'll tackle headlong in his second term. I was a Tinubu hater until I saw what he started doing as president. |
Nefort:He did his best. His legacies in Lagos are still speaking for him. Meanwhile, he was denied Local Government funding during his tenure. Yet, the Local Governments didn't feel the heat. Obi on the other hand didn't conduct local government elections until a few months to his handover. He didn't account for all the Local Government funds he collected till today. |
Johnpat198:Did he lead for a better Anambra when he was governor? Or, why were all Anambrans cursing Obi during his 8 year tenure? |
achorladey:It is the way of cults. You must believe and accept without understanding anything. No one will try to explain anything to you. You must just accept or you get the left foot of fellowship. It can result in outright execution is cults that are openly satanic. God's ways is ", Come, let us reason together." God doesn't force doctrines on people. |
Emusan:Lol. Mohammed is even better than them. At least he saw the one who chose him. Unlike these JWs who saw nobody. Only air. Yet they were chosen by that air. No sound, no voice. Nothing. When the Father chose the Son, He declared: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.' When the Lord chose David, He declared: "I have found David, a man after my own heart." When He chose Jacob, He declared: "Jacob have I chosen, Esau I hate." All these imply that God does, and never chooses anyone invisibly and silently. God always declares the chosen. God is a God of patterns. He follows predictable patterns for some of His actions. He has what David called "His ways". Invisible choosing is not God's way. Not God's pattern. He always declares the chosen. He declared Elisha to Elijah. He declared Joshua to Moses. He declared Isaac to Abraham - "....in Isaac shall your seed be called", not Ismael. I don't know if this discussion can benefit our JW friends. Please don't be offended for being mentioned. I love you with the love of Christ, and I earnestly desire for your eyes to be opened - Maxindhouse, Janosky, Cornelboy, Truthseeker10. May you all have and enjoy the peace of God which passeth all understanding. |
achorladey:Nawa for them o. Is it written in the Bible? Who was there when the 1914 thing happened? Did anyone see or hear when the printing press was endorsed in 1919? How can anyone believe such craps just for loyalty sake? |
achorladey:He's right to an extent actually. Their God is not sane as mine. That's simply because my own Jesus is evidently not angel Michael. Also, my Jesus reigns from eternity past to eternity future. My own Jesus didn't start reigning in 1914. If Maxindhouse can prove to me from scriptures today that Jesus started reigning in 1914, I will become a JW. But you see, my brother, all their doctrines are mental gymnastics of men. Just like this nauseating 1914 falsehood. He didn't answer my question o. I mean the one about him being a Christian or JW. Maybe he's still consulting his god for an answer. 😂. May angel Michael see him through 😆 |
achorladey:Lol. You're right. If they're gaining the upper hand on you, their muscles will rise. But, if their doctrines are being countered and rendered false , they'll be too ashamed to be called JWs. Then comes the "Don't mention me again," mantra. |
cornelboy:Okay. No problem. Cheers! |
cornelboy:Are you not a JW? If I have anything for JWs, I will mention you except you're no longer a JW. You should be glad that you can be called to defend your faith. I will never shy away from being mentioned on issues pertaining to my faith. |
obiekunie01:Can you imagine what he said, "Muslims are not in a hurry'? Not in a hurry to do what exactly? |
buyqualitywoods:Why did you sigh bro? Religion is not what God designed for us. What He designed is communion. The core purpose of it all is fellowship. God wants a cordial relationship with His people. God loves man and really wants to be intimate with man. He created man for fellowship. Religion should point us in the direction of fellowship but many got trapped and plateaued at religion. The result is all the chaos you see in the world today. People are merely religious but they know next to nothing about God. Here is it my brother: "We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ." 1John 1:3. Can you see? The purpose of preaching should culminate in fellowship with the Father. However, many hear the preaching only to pursue religion. God is not a God of religion. That's why you cannot see any religion established by God throughout the Bible. God didn't give any name to anything or formula for people to be using to serve God. Jesus didn't establish any religion. All He preached was the Kingdom, and then, He invited all of us to come into the Kingdom. He didn't invite anybody to practice any religion. This is what Jesus Himself said: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.." Revelation 3:20. Can you see brother? All Jesus wants is fellowship and not religion. The moment you open your heart to Him, He'll come in and fellowship with you. Have you allowed Him into your heart yet? Is He now there fellowshipping with you? Or, are you still in religion? |
Emusan:I would have loved to see what his response would be actually. I really want to know. Maxindhouse, please, would you kindly tell me if you are a Christian or a JW? I'll be glad to know your standing. Thank you. |
Emusan:Hmm. But why is Maxindhouse deceiving himself while telling others that they're deceiving themselves? He himself can see from his own theological inconsistencies, doctrinal confusions and the wide gap between what his organization teaches versus what his organization does. Why do men love doctrines more than the Truth of God's Word? Anything I talk about today is not a doctrine I learnt from any man. Whereas, I can pick hints from men, but I must see it clearly from the Bible before I stake my eternity on it. That's why despise all men of God in Christian circles believing that heaven is our final destination, I do not believe that because the Bible clearly states that we'll be in the new Jerusalem that comes down to the new earth. I also don't believe the doctrine that the Trinity is comprised of 3 distinct individuals because that'll contradict the Bible's stand about the Oneness of God. My whole doctrinal stand is based on clear Biblical Truths. Not doctrines of men. All doctrines of men must pass through the laboratory of the Word of God before I can accept them fully. I won't accept your doctrine even if you're spitting fire from your mouth while preaching it. That's why my stands are difficult to debate, because I will give you plain Scripture for my stands. Not doctrines. And, I will expect you to do the same with plain Scriptures, not your own personal thoughts or ungrounded doctrines that you derive by misrepresenting God's Word. I wouldn't say everyone of them - Maxindhouse, Janosky, Cornelboy and the rest of the misguided JWs should do like I do, but they should follow Paul's example: Galatians 1:11-12 "I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. Even when you are taught doctrines by man, you must receive confirmation straight from the Lord Jesus Christ through the Scriptures! This is Paul, and that should be me. This should be Maxindhouse also. This should be Janosky. This should be Cornelboy. This should be Truthseeker10. This should be the ideal Christian. Except you have made your leaders your own Jesus Christ. |
OredoPikin:That's an advice you should take. A Yoruba prince once ruled the Benin kingdom. His title is the title of Benin kings till date. |
