achorladey:Oh, I see. His religious organization supports government militarization but maxindhouse is a dissident postulating anti JW beliefs. Thanks for the clarification. This is the second time he's being exposed on this thread for spewing doctrines that contradict his organization's. |
MaxInDHouse:Because they were not soldiers. |
MaxInDHouse:Were Jesus and His disciples soldiers? My dear, you went to school for a reason. We, Christians don't fight or kill. However, we support government's efforts to protect society and punish wickedness or crime. We are not hypocrites like you. Jesus and His disciples never fought or kill. However, they supported government's efforts to protect society and punish wickedness or crime. We here are the true followers of Christ! |
achorladey:Chai! So, the even preach self defense? What do they ask people to defend themselves with? Fingernails? |
MaxInDHouse:Lol. You're not even ashamed of your hypocrisy. The sane organization that says do not wear beards, do not do blood transfusion, do not do this and that, is now telling us that the law is already written in our heart's. Shameless! Let me quote that illustration of Jesus for you. Illustrations are not real life events, but the illustrator puts his own thoughts, opinions , ideologies and beliefs into his illustrations most times. Audiences can glean insights and draw inferences Luke 14:31-32 “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? 32 If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. 33 In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples." 1. The first bolded part, look at what Jesus said the king with a 10,000 army should first consider. He didn't say the king is supposed not to go to war, but that he must first consider if he still has upper hands against his adversary. 2. Then, see the second bolded text, Jesus is telling us what the ruler should do ONLY IF HE IS NOT ABLE. That means, if he is able, hr should go ahead and match strength for strength. Now, this illustration was a big opportunity for Jesus to explicitly condemn wars, and also condemn rulers who raise an army if that was indeed His doctrine. Do you think Jesus forgot? He simply didn't say anything like that because it was not His doctrine. Let me tell you the most probable ending that illustration would have if Jesus was opposed to militarization. "Woe unto you rulers, for you raise armies to kill one another because of offences. Such are rulers of Satan and not servants of God. I say unto you, no ruler shall see the kingdom of God." The above would have been Jesus' ending for that illustration. But, He didn't end it that way. Why? Because it isn't His doctrine! You condemn the use of swords and guns by rulers but you want them to use the same swords and guns to protect you. Don't you have shame? |
MaxInDHouse:You just like talking and writing off point. The truth is that Jesus never asked anyone to disband his armies. Jesus even gave a war analogy in which he advised that a king with a smaller army should think well before joining war with another king that has an army twice as large as his. His analogy posits that if you still think you can win, go ahead and fight to victory, but if you think you cannot win, then, seek conditions for peace. Luke 14:31-32. You guys just like spawning up doctrines from thin air. Nothing you hold on too has roots in the Word of God. |
MaxInDHouse:His teachings were for everybody. God's Word is for everyone. God will speak His mind for everybody to.hear, and afterwards judge the disobedient. |
It's high time governments across Africa checkmated the South Africans. I saw a video some days ago where South Africans entered into hospitals and ordered non South African patients out of the hospitals. This is very disturbing. The AU and the ECOWAS should act. |
MaxInDHouse:A preacher does not need to have a say. He only needs to preach it. If Jesus didn't preach it, forget it! |
MaxInDHouse:Cutting off my post in order to be able to talk off point? Here's what I said: Your teaching is not Jesus' teaching. Tell us where Jesus said should disband a nation's army. Hypocrite. Yet, you want to be protected with guns and swords. |
MaxInDHouse:Your teaching is not Jesus' teaching. Tell us where Jesus said should disband a nation's army. Hypocrite. Yet, you want to be protected with guns and swords. |
MaxInDHouse:😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Kikikikiki You don vex sote. You love the gun and sword protection so much. You even want me to become responsible for the blood of Abel just because I exposed your hypocrisy. My dear, you pay taxes for protection and defence by swords and gun, but go behind to condemn your defenders as Sarah's rulers, and then condemn them for using swords and guns to defend you. The wisest thing they should do is to withdraw the swords and the guns now. You think we're stupid? At least once the swords and guns are withdrawn, you would have nothing more to condemn. Hypocrites! |
MaxInDHouse:Do you know what Verifiable evidence is? Is what I said your Verifiable evidence? So, it is wicked to exempt JWs from government protection by swords and guns, but it is not wicked for JWs to condemn the government and the people who lay down their lives while using the same guns and swords to protect the same JWs? Can you see that your organization is the wicked one here? |
MaxInDHouse:Was I the one who said there were perfect people? Let me come again: 1. Noah: "And these are the generations of Noah: Noah was a righteous and perfect man in his generations and Noah pleased God". Genesis 6:9. 2. Job: "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 3. Zecharias: and Elizabeth "They were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord." Luke 1:6. 4. Even Daniel (God said even perfect men would not save the city He wanted to judge.): "Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were there, their righteousness would save no one but themselves, says the Sovereign LORD." Ezekiel 14:14. Now, let me teach you what it means when God said there's no one righteous, no not one. There are several millions of people in several thousands of generations. In few generations where there are hundreds of millions of people, God saw only one righteous man. Noah in his generation, then many generations, no one. Suddenly, job appeared in another generation. Only him among several millions of people. Then, came Daniel in another generation where there ever billions of people. Now, going by.tje above analysis, can anyone say there are righteous people? Especially, vif God was speaking in a particular generation when there was no one righteous at all . A generator where there was no Noah, Job or Daniel or Zecharias. And there were many such generations. It absolutely correct to say "all of them have gone astray." So, God has witnesses like Noah, Job and Daniel, so that you would be inexcusable when you say you cannot be righteous. God has given us His Holt Spirit, and by His help we can soar above Noah, Job and Daniel. God has solved the problem, we now live in God's promised reality. But you and your organization remain stuck in the problem. It's actually refreshing to see that you now accused me of saying "...perfect people even before Jesus..". This means you're now believing that there could be perfect men after Jesus. Your paradigm is changing. And that means your eyes are gradually opening. |
Lukuluku69:You indeed worship Baal even though they deceived you into it. That's why I prayed that your eyes be opened. Refer to the attachments. Now, let me ask you if Jesus is indeed a man, 1. He is the Spirit of Allah, Mohammed is not. No other prophet is. 2. He is the Word of Allah, Mohammed is not, and no other other prophet is. 3. He gave life to clay as Allah supposedly did. Mohammed couldn't. No other prophet could. 4. He is coming back again. Mohammed is dead and gone. All projects are. Why only Jesus is coming back again? 5. Jesus' mother would be honored in paradise just for bearing Jesus. Why? What's so special about Jesus? Does Mohammed not have a mother? Why only Jesus? So many clues even in your Quran. Your eyes just have to open.
|
MaxInDHouse:Lol. See question. I'm not teaching you about the Wonderful Counselor. And, we're not discussing Him. I'm telling you that you and your organization remained stuck on The Problem. The devil really got you guys. But God has already moved on. Those in the true Gospel have God's current realities. Open your eyes and deliver yourself from the JW deception. |
MaxInDHouse:Stop lying to defend your error. Bring verifiable evidence that christians were persecuted by world rulers because they refused to join the army. |
Lukuluku69:SMH. May God have mercy on you and open your inner eyes. |
Lukuluku69:But, he was telling you the truth. When would your eyes be opened, my friend? |
MaxInDHouse:It's just the truth, my friend. |
MaxInDHouse:That was the problem God sent Jesus to solve. I'm afraid you are stuck at the problem. This is it: 1. The Problem: b]"All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. l" Psalm 14:3. This was the problem, but God has moved beyond the problem. He promised a solution and fulfilled the promise. 2. The Promise: "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them." Ezekiel 36:26-27. 3. The Fulfilment: "We know that we live in him and he lives in us because he has given us his Spirit.' 1 John 4:13 "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. " Romans 8:9 4. The Process - Your Responsibility : "Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God (through His indwelling Spirit) transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2. "This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.". Ephesians 4:13. 5. The Solution - Our Current Reality: "Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.". Romans 5:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit". Romans 8:1-2. Hence, "The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commands men that they should all everywhere repent:" Acts 17:34. Note: All emphasis are mine. You see, above there are just Scriptures without my own words .showing you how God has moved believers from the Problem, through the Promise, the Process, etc until we got to the Solution and our current reality. But, you, Truthseeker10, Cornelboy, Aemmeijah, Janosky, and your entire organization are still stuck at The Problem. And that's exactly where Satan wants you to be. God has already moved on. |
MaxInDHouse:My friend, face the whole argument. It's a whole rebuttal. A part of it is not my entire stand. This is my entire stand again: My friend, if humans cannot be perfect, don't you think it'll be wickedness on God's part to command us to do what we cannot do? "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48). Why are we commanded to be perfect when we cannot? It will be wicked for you as a father to command your 4 year old to lift a 25kg keg of water when you know he can't. Even to promise him punishment if he doesn't lift it. Do you know that the Bible says "imperfection cannot inherit perfection"? To inherit God, you must be perfect like God. God gave you the Holy Spirit so that you can become like Jesus. Then, when we see Him, we shall also be like Him. That's the Bible. God explicitly commanded us to be perfect, and the Scriptures say: "His commandments are not grievous" (1 John 5:3) That's to say, His commandments are not hard. His commandments for us to become perfect is not hard because He gave us His Holy Spirit as our enabler. This is the Bible. |
MaxInDHouse:Yes. The real disciples of Christ never discuss anything without sincerity. They fight no one and do not pay taxes just to hypocritically come under the protection of Satan's rulers who use guns and swords. If I were the president of a country, I will give JWs some 10 - 20% discounted tax obligations. In return, I will announce that JWs should not be protected during armed robberies, violent attacks or wars. Bolo Haram, ISWAP, Bandits are free to attack them anytime. They've been discounted taxes so they're not paying protection and defence tax anyway. They cannot be enjoying protection and defence while discouraging military and paramilitary participation, and condemning the use of swords and guns by authorities. That's going to be very fair. 😂 |
chimex38:Thanks bro. Maxindhouse is such an insincere individual. Whenever he sees that a question thrown at him has exposed his lies, he'll decline to answer the question. Instead, he'll be dribbling you. He's a real Madonna who has perfected the art of deceit. He will never answer any question that destroys his lying arguments. |
MaxInDHouse:My friend, if humans cannot be perfect, don't you think it'll be wickedness on God's part to command us to do what we cannot do? "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48). Why are we commanded to be perfect when we cannot? It will be wicked for you as a father to command your 4 year old to lift a 25kg keg of water when you know he can't. Even to promise him punishment if he doesn't lift it. His commandments for us to become perfect is not hard because He gave us His Holy Spirit as our enabler. This is the Bible. |
MaxInDHouse:Are you deliberately heretical, or you're simply ignorant? Here are the specific people whom the Bible testified to us about how they were perfect: 1. Job Job 1:1, 8 (KJV): Describes Job as a "perfect and an upright man" [1, 2] who feared God. [4, 5, 6, 7] 2. Zechariah and Elizabeth Luke 1:6 (KJV): They are described as righteous and walking in all the commandments of the Lord "blameless" [3]. [8, 9, 10, 11] 3. Simeon Luke 2:25 (KJV): Described as a "just and devout" man waiting for the consolation of Israel [4]. [12, 13] 4. Noah: Described as a just man who was "perfect in his generations" (Genesis 6:9). |
MaxInDHouse:There are examples of known perfect humans in the Bible. The Scriptures encourage us to move towards perfection. If there are people who achieved perfection in the Bible, there's no reason why we should not achieve the same. The Holy Spirit dwells in us for this very purpose. If we continue yielding, someday, we can attain. This is the truth of the Word of God. Only Satan tells you otherwise. So what do you call the fruit that only Jesus' disciples can produce?🙂Galatians 5:22: "Now, the fruits of the spirit are manifest Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering (Patience), Gentleness, Goodness, Faith (Faithfulness), Meekness, Temperance (Self-control)." The everyone here refers to the branch which means Jesus' apostles but fruit is the product of their gathering as a group!🙂Incorrect! Here, Jesus was not talking about the fruits of the Spirit but soul winning - evangelism. Every branch must bear fruits, and every fruit must someday become a branch bearing fruits. The disciples won souls. We too as individuals must win souls. God expects all believers to be soul winners. The souls you win are the fruits Jesus was talking about here. Jesus was talking to the 12 disciples here. Paul was not among them. But Paul also bore fruits, didn't he? We too must bear fruits as Paul did. Jesus spoke to all of us, not just the 12 apostles. Paul was the one who first preached the Gospel in Achaia, and he said: "I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)" 1 Corinthians 15:16. |
MaxInDHouse:Beating the fruits of the Spirit does not mean that human frailty wouldn't interfere from time to time as we continue to grow in the faith. We're working towards perfection but not subdued by the Adamic nature. It takes times for our minds to be fully renewed and to be totally confirmed to the Word. The same applies to first century Jewish disciples of Jesus but when you look around no group performed better than them!🙂There's nothing like fruit of Christianity, dude. You need to be schooled. The first century were not new testament saints. Hence, had no claim on the fruits of the Spirit. We're talking of the New Testament era where we see real fake believers who exude no virtue. We see their fruits and know them. Many of them are on this platform. I'm already conversing with one who had no remorse for pending down what he later called and error. Sees no wrong in condemning something he's enjoying. Very heretical and full of deceits. “I am the true vine, and my Father is the cultivator. He takes away every branch in me not bearing fruit, and he cleansThe bolded part of the verse you quoted shows The was talking about individuals, that's why He said EVERY ONE. Except you're expecting Jesus to be talking about several organizations as fruits. And if you claim that your organization is the only true organization, your argument falls flat with Jesus saying "Everyone" in regards to every organization. Does Jesus expect every organization, groups, denominations to bear fruits? No. Jesus does not know groups, organizations or denominations. He has only one Body which comprises of all believers. Hence, the fruit bearers are each individual believers. Jesus is the tree. We, individual believers are His branchesevery one bearing fruit, so that it may bear more fruit." John 15:1-2 [ b]"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever remains in union with me and I in union with him, this one bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing at all." John 15:5We're all spiritually borne of the Vine, Christ Jesus. Each apostle was a branch. Each genuine Christian is a branch. Bring physically and geographically scattered is not tantamount to being spiritually scattered. You must be delusional. Faith in Jesus is what makes us one. We are all partakers of that One Bread, which is Christ Jesus. |
MaxInDHouse:Each, and everyone of them as individuals bore fruits that their contemporaries testified about. The individual false prophet will pretend to be a sheep {Matthew 7:15} so there is no way you can get any fruit from them because they will hide everything from the public but after gathering followers and teaching them their teachings will fail to produce fine fruit among their followers. Not an intelligent submission at all. This position is very much void of sound reasoning because the fruits they bear is what identifies them. Not the fruits they pretend to bear. We see them daily in our world. Their ministries are full of scandals, failed prophecies, heresies, child abuses, ever changing doctrines, lying revelations, etc. That's why Jesus said false prophets will mislead many {Matthew 24:11} so it's by observing those following them that you will know whether their God's servants or Satan's!🙂The Bible didn't say we should observe those following them, but to observe they themselves. We know them by the fruits they bear. They're full of lies and hypocrisy. They condemn military service while enjoying the defence benefits of the military rather than being left vulnerable to attacks. |
