People,

I think we now have two banks left that we are expecting results from. Access and UBA.

Dividend yield is what's separating them now, they having the largest volume of trades so far today. 40 m and 50 m

They are in focus now.

dear newbies,

One of the toughest decisions is cutting losses ff by taking profits

When in a position and prices are going in the opposite direction of your expectation and beyond your intended time frame, ur emotions come into play. The tendency is to first extend the time frame and hold out much longer hoping for a reversal in the near time. In the past I would justify extending the holding period or averaging down to reduce bleeding. This can be disastrous. I know for sure.

Your greatest enemy is ur own emotion and ability to stay within the parameters you have set out. Constantly changing strategy mid way can be disastrous to capital and confidence. Risk management (capital preservation) is very key for long term survival.

Those mopping bargains, penny stocks , or targeting 52 week lows shud do so gradually and cautiously. Cheap may be cheaper & probably for longer than one can remain liquid. IMO

While people are running from skyebank, am still considering to buy more now @ N0.64. Meanwhile shorting copper is looking steady.
its not really a run away, its more like wait and see while money market rates are offering very attractive rates to ignore.
With such attractive rates , the down trend in equities is not likely to change in d near term (add the NPL risks etc)
