TeamUCAP the bears are not leaving us out of the contagion Sp broken N2.40 support , next support N2.35 Offers > bids Q2 likely to be announced ard 20th (next week wed) na siddon look i de |
Mfunkynation:no one knows what will happen in d short term however up till now, we are yet to see the 2015fye , 2016q1 and soon the 2016q2 therefore hope is not the strategy to employ , Hope is never a strategy cut losses , average down , stay in cash blah blah . . just preserve capital. Other opportunities will come bro |
Mfunkynation:d Skye bank contagion & CBN also didnt act on time. A lot of prudential guidelines were broken months ago ! smh dis Emefiele shud just go ! |
UBA jumps to full offer . . any break below N4.00 is a MOP up |

kentoto:yes its earnings season. most q2 results don't come till August. Flourmill & Ucap shud release in July. Afriprud early August, others later in August its a long time, much patience needed |
tough July sceptical Q2 results loading wt one eye on inflation / GDP /Brent those in d mkt shud sit tight those in cash shud also sit tight a likely bearish week (& month) loading |
cadno:shud be called NSE 19 Index ![]() |
The chaps shouting Sell in May missed the call badly, I think sell in July would have been more appropriate #rants |
feelamong:TeamUCAP are very stubborn (me too), the technically bullish posture has long come to an end. MACD is indicating a sell, been under the signal line a while now forming a negative divergence if u look at prev MACD highs. However the holders may have taken a fundamental stance from a bargain posture perspective on d basis of a projected strong Q2. This expectation may have already been priced in therefore expecting a rally after announcement may be disappointing to new entrants at this current level. (Mr mkt will decide later) To those gambling on a dividend play possibility, they can only wait till month end to find out. That's not my position for holding but I do hope they are right ![]() Dis: very heavy here but avg cost under N2 but gradually inching up |
ufotty2001:hope u have a stop loss point . preserving capital is key I think the capital adequacy risk is what is on the minds of bank investors before Q2 Market can over exaggerate fears and greed |
binaflexia:called taking profit |
locodemy:few offers pouring in 9.7m bid 1.6 offer some newbies will want to get in here , ur coming very late to d party there will be many other parties. caution |

#NoteToSelf '' few important principles by P Brandt -Money management is job #1 for a trader. -Keeping your pile of chips intact is the only thing that really matters at the end of the day. (Risk Management) -If you think you know what a given market is going to do, you are only fooling yourself. -Trading a market with expanded volatility but reduced liquidity is a demonstration of arrogant insanity. -Being flat is a position. -An obsession to always be in the market will lead to disaster – it is only a question of when. -Being short volatility (short gamma) is akin to picking up pennies in front of a steam roller. -Of what value is market analysis and trade selection once a trader has lost his or her trading capital. '' End |
Kagame:usual suspects skye , keystone, heritage ? |

DeRuggedProf:Good for the d industry space. The more serious players wt Alhaji in play will help the d downstream ss gap. |
makashava:Refinery biz is a thin margin biz. Add the Nigeria uncertainty and semi-deregulated/ govt patronage of doing things, best to stay away from it. Ordinary JV is a headache for IOC's. On the other hand, Dangote has very very good govt patronage, tax breaks, unlimited capital and political influence on a massive level to sway policies and bills to ensure when he fills the gap. He will dominate it like cement. Good for everyone for now |
mrsage:guess ur chasing a dividend play surge at a very very 'late' hr with limited upside. ur jijo skills need to be on point. |
Cyriacusifeco:umm . . Nothing sedates rationality like large doses of effortless money '' #word everyone is a winner in a bull mkt |
