Epaul:The decision is between the both team, while we play along. Let hear from TEAM AAUA Shynaboy1.... |
Who else want to air his/her view... ![]() |
I am loving this... ![]() |
awesome11:This is only what I can promise.. Judging from the precedence. |
awesome11:Ntn do you sir, airing your view is the best, as a participant. It's not my competition... Am I the one to debate? Why then is it mine? |
Epaul:So which date? |
Awesome11 As per pairing judges with their Alma mater. It speaks volume of such judge personality... One of the participant then, mail me and she was, why is Jarus always scoring us low, sebi he is an Alumnus of OAU. I saw the mail and smile.... |
smithsammy:Oooo OK... |
awesome11:Lol. That's one of the way to test the transparency of judges, Jarus is an Alumnus of OAU and yet he judge OAU debate. He said something that I held tight. He said Judging his Alma mater he will be expecting much from them, and if they refused to give him, he won't be lenient on them.... We stopped using judges from their Alma mater due to some reasons. |
awesome11:Don't tell me you expect the both judges score sheet to tally. ![]() Over all check it... That's the reason why we use two judges. Soon you will understand why a lecturer will grade a student A and another lecturer will grade such A student B it's more than been bias. I wish I can give you three reasons now, but I can't till some other time. I will just Advice you all to cooperate with our judges, I am very sure that the best team will be the winner. That am confident of. |
smithsammy:Me. Was just joking ni... Snoopy is this for real? |

The Ogun Government has concluded arrangements to connect civil servants to Free Voice Over Internet Protocol to enhance productivity and hitch-free communication in the discharge of their official duties. The government is also set to establish a data centre across the three senatorial districts in the state to give room for rural participation in governance. The Director of Information Technology in the Bureau of Information Technology, Olatundun Adekunte, made this known while speaking with journalists on Tuesday in Abeokuta. She explained that the device would be put in place at the Oke-Mosan Government Secretariat in the state capital to allow civil servants access free calls during official working hours. Mr. Adekunte also said that arrangements were being made to procure mobile phones and other accessories for the workers. “There is an existing network for communication, though restricted to few individuals. However, come 2016, all civil servants in the state will be connected to the network. “This is aimed at making communication amongst the workers more effective and thus increase their productivity,’’ the director said. Mr. Adekunte said the data centre, when established, would give room for rural participation in governance. “This development will allow the rural dwellers have access to internet and online media to ensure their active participation in governance through a highly effective feedback mechanism,’’ she added. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/195899-free-phone-calls-for-ogun-workers-in-2016.html |
Kidnappers of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s cousin and Bayelsa State Commissioner for Local Government Administration, Sarafina Otazi, have demanded N40million ransom from her family to free her. It was gathered on Tuesday that Otazi’s abductors had contacted her family and asked for the sum of money to be paid before they would release her. Otazi had been in the kidnappers’ den since December 20,2015 when she was taken hostage at gun point while travelling from her Otuoke community to Ewoi community in Ogbia Local Government Area for a burial event. A former acting chairman of Ogbia Local Government Council, Otazi first served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in the Governor Seriake Dickson-led administration before she was redeployed to the Ministry of Local Government and Administration. A member of the family, Endurance Frank, confirmed the kidnappers’s demand of N40m ransom on Otazi. He said the kidnappers insisted that the family must pay the money to regain her freedom. Frank said the family, however, heaved a sigh of relief after hearing from the victim as there had been fear that she might have died in their custody. He appealed to the kidnappers to release her unconditionally as the family does not have such amount of money. Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Governor Dickson’s younger sister, Nancy Dickson, who was kidnapped barely 24 hours after Otazi’s, has remained unknown. The 26-year-old Dickson was abducted on broad daylight with her sales girl from her shop at Okaka area of the state capital,Yenagoa. The challenge of insecurity has heightened in geo-metrical proportions in Bayelsa following the reports of incessant kidnappings, sea piracy, hand bag-snatching, burglary, gang-related violence and killings across the state. Reports indicate that no fewer than 28 persons, among whom are government officials and their relations, were kidnapped by armed gangs within the last quarter of 2015. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2015/12/kidnappers-jonathans-cousin-demand-n40m-ransom/

Beginning from January 1, 2016, Nigerians will enjoy reduced price of petroleum products as the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), late Tuesday announced new price for the product. The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the PPPRA, Farouk Ahmed The new pricing amounts to 50k reduction in the price of petrol effective. With this development, petrol will now sell for N86.50k from January 1, 2016. According to the statement, the reduction in the price of petrol follows the implementation of the revised components of the Petroleum Pricing Template for Premium Motor Spirit and Household Kerosene. Ahmed said this was based on the approval of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, for the implementation of the revised template. The statement says: “Accordingly, the Ex-depot price of PMS shall be N77.00 per litre, while the pump price shall be N86.50 per litre in line with the prevailing market trend. This new price regime is with effect from 1st January 2016. “All Marketers are hereby advised to adhere strictly to the PPPRA Ex-depot and pump prices, as PPPRA in conjunction with relevant government agencies shall enforce compliance.” The executive secretary further stated that the NNPC would sell lower than other oil marketers, due to the fact that it was cheaper for it to import, compared to both the independent and major oil marketers. He listed the major components affected by the review in the pricing template to include Traders Margin, Lightering Expenses, Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) Charges and Jetty Throughput and Storage Charges, as well as Bridging Fund. Other components, he said, included Retailers, Transports and Dealer margins. Giving a breakdown of the revised template, Mr. Ahmed disclosed that Trader’s margin, which was the amount paid to traders for bringing the commodity into Nigeria, has been eliminated, from N1.47 per litre previously. He said that ‘Lightering’ expenses reduced from N4.07 per litre to N2 per litre; NPA reduced from N0.77 to N0.36 per litre; while Jetty Through and Storage charges were reduced. http://dailytimes.com.ng/nigerians-pay-n86-50k-petrol-jan-1/# Lalasticlala |
