Do you know the poor populace in Nigeria in 2016 must have coughed out a whopping N4tr to generate electricity for only 360hrs in 2016.
*Parameters used* 900W I pass my neighbor Operating @ 80% efficiency 1hours of Electricity daily 30hrs monthly 360hrs annually Population of poor about 130m (70%) probably more Cost : N120/kWh Please note we have 8640hrs in a year and 8664 in a leap year.
That is about 67% of the 2016 budget. This is unacceptable in every standard
ANRP will correct this anomaly.

Dav8id is not the chap described to be from Ibadan. I think Davi8d posture is to hold his head high in his sphere of business in order to garner respect for a niche he is trying to create. Politics / Uk Based Medical Doctor, Obinna Aligwekwe, Attacks Buhari by GabdelandAgro(m): 2:01pm On Dec 28, 2016
Buhari deployed Soldiers in thousands to the South
East, arguably one of the most secure regions of
the federation, although cases of fulani herdsman attack has been there, but the motive and purpose for the military deployment was not against fulani herdsmen.

Yet in Southern Kaduna where
genocide is actively underway, buhari talk about
federalism and how states should handle their
internal security.

Buhari is trying to pull wool over our eyes that
he has won the war on Boko Haram because of sambissa capture, yet even
while Boko Haram still takes soft targets.

Another theatre of conflict is opening in Kaduna
while the Chief Security Officer of the State is
unwittingly aiding and abetting massacres.
Let the rest of you keep celebrating Sambisa. I
will not rest until we get the big picture
regarding security of life and property in this
country.

Culture / Re: Sultan Tells Senate To Reject Gender Equality Bill by GabdelandAgro(m): 12:20pm On Dec 28, 2016
Buyeradvertcom:

Sa’ad Abubakar lll, the sultan of Sokoto, has asked the upper chamber of the national assembly to reject the bill seeking equality for male and female children in the sharing of inherited family wealth or property.

The bill also proposes that a widow should be entitled to the custody of her children unless it is contrary to the interests and welfare of the children.

It also says a widow should have the right to remarry any man of her choice and should have the right to a fair share in the inheritance of her late husband’s property, and the right to live in her matrimonial home.

But speaking at the closing ceremony of the 20th Zamfara State Annual Qur’anic Recitation Competition, Abubakar said the bill was against Islamic religion and, therefore, unacceptable to Muslims.

“Our religion is our total way of life; therefore, we will not accept any move to change what Allah permitted us to do,” he said.

“Islam is a peaceful religion; we have been living peacefully with Christians and followers of other religions in this country. Therefore, we should be allowed to perform our religion effectively.”

The monarch appealed to the red chamber not to consider the bill because of its religious implications.

He also hailed the federal government and Nigerian army for the capture of Sambisa forest from Boko Haram insurgents, describing it as historic.

“We are happy to hear this good news; we are, therefore, calling on the Nigerian army not to relent in its efforts in fighting the activities of Boko Haram,” he said.

He called on Muslims to continue to pray for peaceful coexistence in the country, advising them to cooperate with all the tiers of government to move the country forward.

Politics / 10 Ways Nigeria Can Enjoy Stable Electricity. By Www.anrp.org.ng by GabdelandAgro(m): 11:44am On Dec 28, 2016
Some asked can there ever be Stable Electricity
in Nigeria.

"There can be stable Electricity in Nigeria"
The first step is to crush the old brigades called
CABALS then follow this 10 ways designed for Nigeria
Power Sector by ANRP

1. Part of the proposed loan should be used to
pay those PHCN owners who are not ready to
invest to revamp the power outfit they procured.
Erring Owners should be fired and company
retrieved and concessioned to reputable power
firm.

2. Force the owners of the Discos to Invest
massively on the metering scheme/which was
part of the agreement before procuring the
power outfit. if they don't comply, the PHCN
outfit should be retrieved and concessioned to
reputable power firm.

3. Federal Govt should empower the local meter
manufacturers and ensure the Disco owners
Patronize them.

4. Sell 41% of the TCN to genuine power firms
and decentralize the Wheeling network.

5. Invest the funds from the sale of TCN on
revamping the Moribund Wheeling network.

6. Make NAPTIN training a must for all Power
engineers/Contractors and power technicians.

7. Revive all the abandoned Hydro plants
projects before starting a new one and also
intensify efforts to build more solar powered
plants

8. Properly Sensitize the public on why there is a need to hike tariffs because with the present cost of
electricity we can't have adequate power supply.

9. The National Assembly should enact a law
which will send those who steal or vandalize
Electricity and power equipment to Jail.

10. The National Assembly should conduct a
comprehensive audit on the power sector.

Politics / How Buhari Failed Nigerians Regarding Power Sector by GabdelandAgro(m): 9:01pm On Dec 27, 2016
Prior to winning the election The APC led federal
govt knew the Power sector was illegally sold.
This was confirmed by the minister of power
Babatunde Fashola sometimes in June 2016.
Every one can attest to the fact that the power
sector was better off before privatisation.
Guess what FG chickened out because of some
cabals and here we are today.

The APC led promised Nigerians that they will
Generate, transmit and distribute from current
3,000 – 5,000 MW to at least 20,000 MW of
electricity within four years and increasing to
50,000 MW with a view to achieving 24/7
uninterrupted power supply within ten years,
whilst simultaneously ensuring development of
sustainable/renewable energy.

The APC led federal govt never thought about
sabotage from the avengers, as an engineer you
are taught to prepare for the worst, you factor
unforseen situation but the APC led federal govt
didn't it was all we will we will and now we are
packaged with excuses.
As at today the APC led Federal govt has added
1MW to the grid via renewable energy fueled
plant.

The APC govt have been able to repair the
dilapidated hydro plants and added 400MW.
The highest we pushed to the grid was 5074MW
fed 2016 that was because a lot of work was
done out of fear of Mr President by many of the
rogue contractors who were engaged by FG
during the looting era of the last administration.
The body language has since failed.
We have been hovering from 2-4GW though the
Wheeling network has been fortified a bit to
6GW.

Nigerians have been paying for darkness like
never before all we hear is what will the world
say if we cancel the disco sale or the legal angle.
We are 19 months into the 48month government
where election takes another 9months leaving
out 21months. I do not see any magic
happening 21months from now because the
Senate will frustrate them from getting funds.

The old brigades are the cabals, the Senate are
also part of the old brigades and the
Government of the day is not ready to take on
the cabals or any of the old brigades hence a
new conversation is needed.

it is very evident that Buhari is not the change we need

Voting out the clueless jonathan is not a regret, but its painful that while choosing the next leader, we believed APC too much due to the fact that we were all fed fed up with jonathan. Buhari was packaged and presented as a man of Integrity, unknown to us that, he is a deceptive and silent thief who operates via Plausible Deniability. This is a trick in which the president plays saint, but allows his subordinates to do the dirty jobs, thereby keeping his hands clean

Buhari is not the change, He is just a Replacement. We replaced a known thief with another silent and deceptive thief.

Politics / The Revolution Has Begun, "Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party" by GabdelandAgro(m): 5:33pm On Dec 21, 2016
WHY WERE WE FORMED ?

1. Having taken time to observe the
challenges of our time, and the
continuous struggle for Nigeria's
socio-economy, by which we have
become overwhelmed in recent
times, and the despondency in the
land, occasioned by increased
suffering among the majority of
Nigerians, a group of Nigerians with
common interest in finding solutions
to the issues, chose to come together
and form the Abundant Nigeria
Renewal Party (ANRP).

2. The party - as the name implies - is
focused on bringing back the
abundance for which Nigeria is
known - in terms of human and
material resources, and ensuring that
that abundance is shared by all
(shared prosperity). The second
concern of the party is the need for a
renaissance and renewal for the
country; a feat that will be achieved
when dynamism is entrenched in the
socio-political process and new ideas
are brought on board, especially from
Nigeria's largest demographic - the
youths.

3. The party therefore commits to
increasing the participation of young
people in the governance of their
fatherland, without prejudice to, and
without alienating other
demographics, especially older
people.

4. The party notices the urgency of the
moment, and the gutting of the
nation's finances by ills such as
corruption, nepotism, and general
mismanagement of the country's
social, political and economic
spheres, and the need to actively and
swiftly take action.

ANTI-CORRUPTION STANCE
One of the chief concerns of the party is
how to rid Nigeria of the corruption
problem which has seemingly taken on a
life of its own. To this extent, as the
party will go ahead and develop inclusive
and systematic strategies to eliminate
corruption in Nigeria's public space, all
members must commit to a zero-
tolerance stance on corruption in all
their dealings. Party members must not
give or take bribes or corrupt processes
which they handle

OUR GREEN COMMITMENT
In order to live our green commitment,
and as the first political party in Nigeria
with expressly stated goals around the
environment - its sustainability and its
care - members shall endeavor to
engage in environmentally-sustainable
practices as well as be actively involved
in cleanups and other sanitation events
which the party will sponsor from time
to time. Party launchings should be
accompanied with such events like
cleanups, free environmental education
to Nigerians, and tree-planting, among
others.

OUR COMMITMENT TO TRANSPARENCY
Because the party is committed to
transparency as a mark of its distinction,
all party events will be made
transparent and subject to scrutiny as
much as possible. Nominations for
positions will be based on open
competition articulation of intent and
ideas, and debate. Where we have only
one person vying for a position, they
shall still make a presentation of what
they intend to achieve so as to cross-
pollinate ideas and get value-addition
from members and executives. We shall
endeavor to avoid the word "secret" in
any of the party's undertakings.

FRUGAL MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES
AND SACRIFICE TO MOTHERLAND
Because we agree that Nigeria's God-
given resources have not been well-
managed in the past, the party and all
its members in all their undertakings
shall commit to frugal management of
public and private resources in line with
global best standards. On no occasion
should we be seen to squander national
resources for personal comfort or
aggrandizement.

What We Want

1. We want people who have jobs or
businesses, and not "professional
politicians" to vie for offices at all
levels.

2. We want to try and limit the ages of
those we put forward within
constitutional requirements but also
below 55. We think that is fair
enough. We want young people but
we will not rub it in and engage in
anti-ageism. We must guard against
being seen as unnecessarily
exuberant hotheads.

3. We want to promote the involvement
of women and young people in
politics and administration and so will
encourage them to step forward...
with their ideas. We believe the best
ideas reside in this demographic.

4. We want people of reasonable and
modest means in our party; self-
made people preferably, with
verifiable businesses or careers. We
are not after moneybags. We are also
not a platform for the perpetuation
of poverty and despondency. We
shall encourage ALL who choose to
join us to get something going. We
are fiercely independent and this
must show in everything we do.

5. This party is about SACRIFICE. We
don't want people who are seeking
for quick money and benefits on
board. Anyone coming with the
mindset of "chop-and-quench", or
"kill-and-divide", will not be
recognized and will be watched
keenly.

Sorry to disturb you all with this thread, I need a few advice on this. I have opened a thread earlier were I stated that I needed money to start a business and I wanted to get it from a lady. The am still observing the thread and comments but now this opportunity is looking at me straight in the face and I am confused.
My dad is an old man that people give alot of things for the help he has given them as at when he was still strong. 20 bags of rice has been in my custody from gifts given to him since November and it's almost Xmas, I called him and asked what we are going to use it for and he simply said he doesn't need them. He practically sounded like I should use my head, make money out of it and keep the money.
My problem is we all know how old men behave, I need the money quite alright but they might come back later to say they never told me to do away with it.

Please help me with your advices, I know what the money will do for me if I sell them off at 10k per bag. I know if I but such money into the business I plan to start it will flourish because am determined. Do you people think I will be committing an offence in I sell them and were would be the best place to find a buyer for everything at once?
u mean u want to sell a bag 50kg at #10k ? send me a text on 09095500809
