There's an adage that says " an old woman is restless at the mention of a tattered, worn out basket." What if you come to realise the op may not be an Igbo? And you can never see them criticizing their fellow Yoruba that loot this country instead they will choose to promote the person over saint from another tribe what do you guys stand in promoting evil because of tribe. This is totally wrong.
Nigeria constitution guarantee each Nigeria to reside and stay anyway in Nigeria without being discriminated. The Almajiris has the right to stay anywhere in Nigeria, they should be sent back to Ondo. I know many Yorubas that stays and live in Gombe and Yola and nobody has ever threatened them or asked them to go back to Southwest.
Because of this North will not vote for a Yoruba president in 2023.

Why sending them back?
No be one Nigeria again?
Why no quarantine them and absorb them into larger ondo state if they tested negative.
Or put them on Isolation if positive.
Nigeria constitution guarantees them right to stay in any western states and the constitution supersede any regulations. Is your father's sitting room chasing them. Why not take them into your house. |

Politics › Re: THE NORTH IS NOT EXACTLY LANDLOCKED!!! by Gabkosh: 1:21pm On May 06, 2020 |
madmohamed: we are saying the same thing here in Biafra land the problem is not the South the problem is yoloba who think Is only them have Asses to the sea if Nigerian break down. I think Biafra and Ariwa will be in a good time than oduduwa if Osu olodo. A landlocked country or landlocked state is a sovereign state that does not have territory connected to an ocean or whose coastlines lie on endorheic basins. Not Sea, You have not coastline with the ocean. When you don't know difference between see and ocean. An ocean is a vast and a continuous frame of salty water that shelters almost 70 percent of the total earth's surface while a sea is a large body of saline water that occupies a greater part of the world's surface but is smaller than an ocean. In case your akpu brain is finding it difficult to differentiate between them, let me summarise for you. They both have different Depth, Area and marine life. DepthAs stated earlier, oceans are large water bodies that exist on the earth's surface. There are five different oceans, the Pacific Ocean being the largest with a depth of around 10,924 meters, and the Arctic Ocean is the smallest with a depth of 5,625 meters. The five oceans join together to form one large body of saline water commonly known as the world ocean, which has an average depth of 3,688 meters. On the other hand, there are different types of seas with most common ones being the Mediterranean Sea, Baltic Sea, North Sea, Bering Sea and the Red and Yellow Seas. The major seas are the Caribbean Sea, the South China Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea. The Caribbean Sea is the deepest sea with an approximate depth of 6,946 meters. The comparison by depth shows that oceans are much deeper as compared to seas because land usually encloses the seawaters. AreaOceans are the most prominent water bodies on planet earth with an average total area of 361,900,000 square kilometers. The largest ocean is the Pacific Ocean which covers an area of 60,060,700 square miles, while the smallest ocean (Arctic Ocean) is estimated to cover an area of 5,427,000 square miles. On the other hand, the largest sea, which is the Mediterranean Sea has an area of 1,144,800 square miles, a smaller area than that of the smallest ocean. Thus, this variation in the area indicates that seas are smaller than oceans. Marine lifeThe plants and animals that exist in salty waters (oceans and seas) are the ones that make up marine life. The distance from the shore of the ocean or sea and their depths intensely impact the quantity and biodiversity of aquatic plants and sea creatures that exist here. Since seas are permanently around the land, aquatic existence is abundant, but this is not the case with oceans. Oceans are deeper than seas and farther away from land thus reducing aquatic life in them. The basic life forms that exist on oceans include microscopic planktons, bacteria, and shrimp. Seas support a large portion of marine life since sunlight penetrates deep down allowing photosynthesis to take place. Oceans rarely support marine life since they are deeper than seas and thus sunlight does not penetrate deep enough to the surface to let photosynthesis to take place. Know the difference olodo. |

[s] voiceofthetruth: I have noticed different types of insults and mockery thrown to we Northerners because we're sharing the same country with a lot of poorly educated literate. One of the biggest reasons southerners accuse us of loving Nigeria is due to the misconception that Northern Nigeria is landlocked and wouldn't be able to survive as an independent country. This is one of the biggest lies ever told in the history of the world. Do you know, that if Nigeria separates today, the River Niger according to international water laws would be designated as an international waterway. According to the "1911 Madrid Declaration", all states that share a body of water are physically dependent on each other. This is one of the basis on which the United nations treaty on International trade and development was formed.. According to the United nations convention on law of the sea also known as treaty of the sea to which Nigeria is a member, all landlocked states must be given a right of access to and from the sea without taxation on traffic in transit. This means, that the River Niger must serve as an international waterway whose resources and features would be jointly controlled by all states or countries sharing this body of water. Do you know that former president Yardua before his demise, embarked on the dredging of the River Niger to provide access to international vessels and ships. I don't know what Buhari is doing right now, but this project would be the priority of the incoming Northern president in 2023. Some myopic individuals would come and say that southern Nigeria can always block our access to the sea as an independent country. I'll let you know that in the event of separation and designation of River Niger as international waters, any act of blockage or sabotage by any bordering country would amount to an act of war and attract severe sanctions and military repercussions on that state. In the event of any blockage, southern Nigeria would be made to bear the full wrath of the United Nations and a United Northern Nigeria. Examples of where such situations occur are the Danube River in Europe, the South China sea in Asia and the Bolivian and Paraguay River channels. The river Nile is also a similar but non exact situation due to the harmony existing among countries connected to it. The use of River Niger as international waters would make the North have similar geography to Malaysia. Do you know that Malaysia is separated by the international waters of the South China Sea. Do you also know that to move between Malaysia means you probably have to cross international waters bordered by Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. My fellow arewa brothers and sisters, do not be deceived by the mockery of those that hate us. The North as it stands today is currently the most blessed region of Nigeria. With our unity, natural and mineral resources, soil, culture, population and landmass, Northern Nigeria stands to be the most developed in event of separation.
Attached below are pictures and maps showing the River Niger, Danube River and water division of Malaysia.
Cc: Mods frontpage please [/s]Northern Nigeria is land locked. All these epistle is just consolation. Land locked has simple definition. Which northern president are you talking. Come and take it na. |
