I just graduated, I really do hope I graduate with a first class.
I have maintained a first class from level 1 to level 4. Although I dropped out in second semester level 3, first time I was out of the first class zone (had 4.24 I think, devastating for me).
I entered my level 4 with a 4.59 CGPA, our final results are yet to be out but I was afraid because one course really gave me tough time, the lecturer didn’t help matters too.
It’s a 3 unit course and I think I might have a D (God forbid sha) but I’ve made peace with myself in case anything happens.
Although I’m hoping for the best. But I won’t lie, the thoughts of not getting a first class after the efforts is crazy. I even Had a 5.00 GPA in my level 1 second semester.
I just hope I graduate with a first class despite the trials. Our results will be out hopefully within the next two weeks so fingers crossed. You really tried op, it was later a FirstClass right? Lol...I did good on my promise. Graduated with a 3.62 out of a 4.0 grading. Only distinction student in my department and overall best in my school. Already replied ds thread. Served in 2016/2017. Rn feeding off my skils....Promised fullfiled. By doing the same thing that worked for you the last semester.
Read and digest your book. If you have a sound understanding of the subject matter, there's no need to aim for A's or a particular class.

Always aim for "A" in all courses, irrespective of their credit units; respect your courserep and lecturers and let them know you do; teach those that are struggling at every given opportunity, but stay away from them in the exam hall; practice at least two-year consecutive past question papers for the given course during the current semester; never miss class and do all assignments as if your life depends on them, and pray. Nothing will stop you from joining us! Goodluck! Good day Scholars I just saw my result for first semester 100L which is 4.53gpa and now it’s second semester in the department of Economics and my result is the best yet. I aim to have 4.9 or 5.0 as my final cgpa in 100L because I heard the higher the level the harder it gets. So with my calculations now I might end up in 4.5 or 4.6 thereabouts for 100L .  But my question now is how do I maintain a first class gpa every semester till I graduate because I have aspire to come out with a first class Hons I’m ready to give it all it takes and if I don’t get it I don’t know bad i would feel.  Op in the house I need advice and tips on how you did yours especially calculation course how do you all scale thru  |

On achieving all of what I wrote about some 5years ago.......hard work I must say.. Graduated with a first class (CGPA 4.87) - top of my class, completed a couple of internships with top MNCs, became a Chartered Accountant in 2013, currently a CFA candidate and I am currently undergoing my NYSC in one of the top investment banks.
