Gabby. When a university degree is awarded d student is found worthy in CHARACTER AND IN LEARNING.The US education is very good in learning but not in character.wat is education witout character?US schools ar filled wit all kinds of negative vices, absolute freedom results is poor morals.
Before sending ur kids 2d US to study they most have come of age morally,not just the presumed adult age of 18,but a morally sound mind.That probably explain why Pat's dad wants her to be more mature before moving her.

Ohhh common now. When I was in my teenager and I was sent to school in Malaysia at first, the morality of the students is absurd!!! They know they parents are not around so they start smoking weed and smoking pot and smoking and drinking and have sex as for me! NO WAY! I did not fall into that category atall! I was the more active type in participating in the school activities and also organizing event sand all. MY friends were the bad influence but I did not get influence from it. Than I was being sponsored to Europe to study and I went there and the morality of the students are he same like in Malaysia and I did not fall to that category as well. U see, u make yourself who you want to be. Its up to you how you want to carry yourself. As a young adult, we know whats right and whats wrong so we can think for ourselves.

I came back from Europe and my hometown friends and family were shock to see that I did not change my personality one bit!

Nahhhh. . . . US education is always very very good. Its very dependable. Instead of producing books for students, they mae the student to go and do their own research and come out with their own ideas. Thats how they build confidence and also thats how they learn how to express themselves and also to have their own opinion on whatever they do.

And besides even if its not, to have an education from the States is always better than havin education in Malaysia or Nigeria. If you go to the working industry, the employers will look at the origin of your certificate.
