Bad times no doubt for the consumer goods sector. I have to look at the result twice to be sure of what I am seeing. I hope this would not lead to downsizing and lost of jobs in most of these companies.

I am beginning to think if the result of the banks can sustain the market from the generational low predicted by oracle.

You are correct. Downsizing and restructuring is imminent in the FMCGs. Many FMCGs and breweries will have to restructure to collapse overhead.. RTM and distributor transformation will happen in many FMCGs.

Banks are enjoying now. Union Bank reviewed salary with 75% increase. Zenith did similar. FMCGs will struggle to do that.

Intbrew with 26billion shares!it has more shares than the postal boy(nb) and guineas combine and also in losses upon losses for 5years.it will take something like what we are about to see in fbnh for it to move.

International Brewery is unlikely to partake in the bull run anytime soon, sentiments apart.

Before you invest your money in it, please walk up to any distributor or depot of beer in your area and ask about the 3 major companies and how they operate. You will hear that IB has the poorest Route-to-Market, least headcount of field sales staff, they have downsized many times despite making losses QoQ.

IB products like Trophy larger, are everywhere (Volume) but they are also the cheapest (value). Their cost of sales will always be hight because you incure more cost to distribute large volume.

People doing business in that industry know that IB is just playing!

I must respectfully disagree, as the fact that the presidential election is being contested on two fronts indicates that the situation is not yet stable.

Even after the handover, I anticipate that Mr. Tinubu administration will not be able to operate at full capacity until the lawsuits have been resolved.

While INEC has declared him the winner, the upcoming court proceedings will determine whether he was truly elected by the electorate. As such, the foundation is still unstable, and we will have to wait and see what the court proceedings reveal in the coming weeks and months.

Just dey play!

Nice one @OP

Why is it only Igbos that are being attacked

Igbos should stay off our politics and reject politicians coming for endorsement angry

The answer os simple. Even the Hausas are wiser than you people. During election Hausas go back to the North in their large numbers to vote. But, you Igbos want to claim what doesn't belong to you. That's called greed...

Its from the igbos you will hear that Lagos is a no man's land... what's that?? Can someone say Anambra is a no man's land

The earlier you wake up, the better.

I just know that as soon as APC is declared winner of Lagos. They should just start selling their properties in Lagos and go back to their regions if not all their CofOs will be revoked. They have proved themselves to be ingrates and disloyal people.

Lagos accommodated them for years and they make their money from this same Lagos now they have the guts to challenge the people of Lagos. Their party won Lagos in Presidency election and they started yelling that tenant don become landlords. Now, they will see what landlords do to disloyal tenants. Nonsense!!!

Thks boss.
Should be an oversight since I'm not picking the IPO, so, not much attention paid to it.

The aspect that got me a bit somehow was the momentum gathering aspect. It was over-publicized with lots of noise everywhere self.

The too much noise about it scared me off it actually. I feel if it was that juicy, the likes of Otedolas wouldn't have made it cascaded to 1k units buyers like me.

Abacus money market fund as the name implies is a MMF.

Principal underlying asset is treasury bills and commercial papers

The interest is daily valued. It's currently 6.39% and it's upward looking base on economic realities right now.

You earn interest daily but it's paid every quarter on the first day of the next quarter ie Jan 1st, April 1st, July 1st, Sept 1st. You can also give instruction for your interest to be reinvested (compounding) which will be done automatically on those days as mentioned earlier.

Your capital and interest is guaranteed.

minimum holding period is 30days and initial deposit from 1,000.

Parties to the fund:

Fund manager - investment one
Trustees: United capital trustees ltd.
custodian: citibank
regulator: SEC

You can do everything online- register and monitor your account.

Depositing money is not restricted it can be any amount from 1,000 and at any interval without a specific pattern.
Whenever you invest in the fund, your interest is prorated to cover the period of your investment before the payment date.
That means if you register and invest say Tuesday 15th June 2021you will be paid interest for 15th to 30th of June for that period and continues till another payment date.

Don't forget to click the link on my signature to register for free that is the only way you can help my ministry.

You are doing well

By lending out your coins, you get an interest paid to you by the borrower.
The yield varies from time to time and the platform.
Between 5 to 30%. On the average I am looking at a yield of 15%.

I am sure you know how many people have been duped from this lending stuff. It's never advisable... and do u know that when u lend your coins out, and after a while the market dips the borrower dont get to pay u back because he will be returning more coins to you. Borrowers will only pay u back if btc appreciates because they will be paying u lesser coins then but the lesser coins will be valued higher in USD, but, in real terms, you are getting lesser coins back.... all still na mirage.

What would be the effect of the reconstruction on their share price?

This one is a big question. Only the elders can answer accurately. But, I know that nominal value of their share will be adjusted from 0.5k to N2. I.e everyone 4 units to be reduced to 1. So, the only way it would not lead to value erosion for shareholders is if their share price is multiplied by 4. My opinion though.

Did Mansard suspend their share reconstruction?

I am not sure they are done with it. After the reconstruction they should have 9B shares outstanding. They still have 36B.... but I think it must be implemented before September 30th, the cut off date for the phase 2 recapitalisation of the insurance coys.
