ZENITH BANK

I don't know why Veritas Registrars is fond of doing this to me every year. Every time they keep paying me my Zenith bank dividend in piecemeal. They eventually will comply after i have engaged them through emails. I don't know why i always have to forward my CSCS statements to them before they will fully pay me. Meanwhile, i need this money together to solve a pressing need. Let me wait a day or two before we begin to exchange emails. Can they try this with my retired Chairman Mr jim Ovia ?
Part of the work of a registrar of a company is to keep the company book, i wonder why i should be the one supplying them information before my complete dividend is paid.
Have they started playing?

Is there a condition that makes it absolutely compulsory for you to use UCAP? if they are unresponsive now, what happens when you have to reach them at some point again in the future. I'm not even sure anyone here will recommend UCAP
So, i already used them. I need to liquidate the investment seeing that their Customer service is poor.

Good day all.

Please who can help me with a contact of someone in United Capital.

I need to complete my KYC. They have not been responding to mails since last week. No response from their WhatsApp channel either.

I think their customer service is terrible.

Because the estate is probably selling electricity (NEPA+Gen) to you and most likely at exorbitant rates. Allowing solar will mess up their business.
We use normal "Bandit B" not even A. Ypur personal generator is allowed.

Why should there be tax on people providing power for themselves where government has failed to do sohuh Lagos is far richer than Abia which is generating power.. that's how we heard of borehole tax sometime ago.. so struggling artisans in government estates will pay solar tax abi? Government should sort out waste disposal.. psp operators in several areas no longer come. After yesterday's sanitation, how will the waste and refuse be evacuated?? It's a peculiar mess.. literally
Sir, even in a private estate I live here in Lagos, Solar Panels are not allowed, not sure why though, but this is the estate rule, if you are not comfortable with it, you have to move out, simple.

Qualification Date (Date of Record): April 13, 2026. You must hold the shares at the close of business on this date.
Ex-Dividend Date: The shares will likely be marked down (go ex-dividend) on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, meaning purchases on or after that date will not receive the dividend.
Payment Date: The dividend is scheduled to be paid on April 28, 2026.
The buyer on the qualification date will qualify for dividends, the seller will not!

NGX also does abracadabra. Imagine GUINNESS chasing N500 and the likes of IB NB CHAMPION still trading at ridiculous levels comparatively. Accumulation greed and shake-out game no be here.
No Abracadabra in GUINESS. Diageo left due to FX wahala. New investors went in and pump in money into the company, hence thw turnaround.

This strange obsession with dividends, eh?

When a company that should be investing in growth (like Ellah) or deleveraging (like Oando, Dangsug) starts talking about dividends, we should be asking management whether their head correct and selling the stock.
Sir, are the companies not paying salaries monthlyhuh Are their directors/executives not earning fat monthly despite the gaps in performancehuh

Honestly, and I say this respectfully, given your questions, please try not to borrow any money. Not even against your stocks. Most people will lose money they borrow at such high rates. Just redeem your money market funds jeje.

Don't go chasing waterfalls
Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to
Na wa o. Why are people so scared of loan??

Its even advisable he takes the smart loan against his MMF in as much as he has the cash flow to repay the loan monthly. That way, his MMF investment remains and keeps growing while he pays back his loan monthly...

ok think of it this way, if he had a property, say land, and he uses it for security to obtain a loan for an investment, he just need to have cash flow to payback...

For me, I will take the Smart loan against the MMF to meet the immediate need for cash since I have the cash flow to payback gradually.

He is not aware that Israel has taken over the skies of Iran. Iran has just been wasting missiles, 95% of all missiles they fire are being intercepted by the Israeli Sky defence.

The level of damage in Iran now cannot even be announced by the Iranian govt. Israel attacks are more targeted and precise.

Their supreme leader is anticipating death already, he has already recommended 3 other leaders in case he is assasinated anytime soon. 4 of their leader were eliminated under 48 hours. Internet was shut down for over 48 hours in Iran.

Iran needs to be tamed. News has it that they plan to develop atleast 300 missiles monthly. This is a threat to the world at large.

No country will back Iran because they seem to be the one financing terrorism in many other countries.

My concern with stocks like betaglass and vitafoam is the business itself.
Vitafoam is not your everyday consumption. You buy it once and for the next 10 years, you may not need another one coupled with the fact that there are many competitors I. The market.
So the earnings may not be consistent.
For Betaglass, the long term sustainability is shaky because government is forcing companies to be switching away from bottles.
I am even surprised that they made grate sales in Q1/25.
Not only did they sell a lot of what they produced, their inventory went down alot which is impressive.
Wondered what happened between January and March to warrant that since it is not festive period when people drink a lot.
But what is obvious is their operating leverage.
Since management and companies have little to none control over cost of goods affecting gross margins, the bulk of reducing operating expenses lies on good management of a company which they have proved.
That is a good management there
On Vitafiam, I think you are correct.

However on Betaglass I somewhat disagree. They produce glass bottles for many FMCGs. CSDs and beer have their best quality in bottles, better than PET and cans.

Again, I am aware of a beer coy that stated selling bottles to their dealers recently which requires them to buy more bottles from BETA Glass... BETA Glass will make mega bucks going forward.

Spot on! Tizeti has competitive price. However, they need to do better on their services. Downtime happens too often.
