emmanuelewumi: Cash is King and will always be king. The cash can be in highly liquid asset, or cash flow from income generating assets. Cash is King does not mean you won't buy investments or income generating assets.
Ability of the investment or asset to generate steady cash will be the basis of committing funds True sir. But, cash is king advocates here are recommending that you sell all your portfolio and hold cash. That u will still buy Zenith at 9 soon in the year. |

seyisanya: I understand the feeling but you don't need to be too hard on yourself. Zenith is still a good buy at N15 if you really need to buy it back. I also bought Zenith and GTB at the March low prices and I already disabled the sell buttons for these two giants. When @Stcool still waiting for Zenith @ 9. #CashIsKing |

ositadima1: Ok, for example, on the market view tab, on my laptop I normally double click on any symbol to view bid and offer quantities for that symbol. I have tried to bring out same on my mobile phone without success.
Can you do that on yours? How do you do it.
Note, I have chrome, puffin, Mozills, UC, and opera. I don't double click again. On each ticker, there is a drop down i click and select "Market Order" |

I want to really learn on this thread.
I need some clarifications: I hear stocks moving 70%+ daily. Is there a limit to the daily movement of stocks here? If not, so if I buy a stock now and drops 100% in a day what happens?
Can a stock share price drop to Zero? If yes, what happens to my invested fund? |

DrAwo: I have just gone through the transcript of their H1 2020 investor conference call and I can see your point now... Seems the increase in excise duties has contracted their margins... Thanks for the eye opener... That's the major govt policy that's killing the industry. They can hardly survive it. |

DrAwo: The Nigerian beer market is facing stiff competition from the imported spirits, wines and vodka which the younger generation who drink tend to align more with these days...
The 3 major brewers (NB, IB and Guinness... In no particular order) are also jostling amongst themselves for market share...
They need to start thinking of diversifying... I disagree a little bro. The breweries are making huge money but they can never do well with the present PMB administration. Guinness for the example is making mega bulk from stout and spirits, NB doing very well in Beer( Heneiken, 33, Goldberg). If it was possible for Buhari, he will stop the breweries from operations completely. For me, We would likely see more lows in this industry. |

DeRuggedProf: A Very poor result . Nigerians can drink better.... We really do not understand what's going on in the breweries. Nigerians are still drinking. When people are depressed or celebrating they drink more. Bars, clubs, hotels and lounges everywhere. Still all of them post poor results. May be Ogas here have a clue to the happenings in that industry. |

emmanuelewumi: I think they have to inform their employers, who will inform NSE.
I have a friend who works in NSE, she said they are not allowed to invest on NSE. They can only invest in mutual funds, Treasury Bills, money market funds, bonds, Commercial papers. Their husbands, wives and children can invest in shares.
If they must invest on NSE, they must inform their employer. And the investment will be through a " blind trust", to be managed by a Trustees. I said this before here, Emmasoft told me to be guided. OK. U cannot work in any multinational and invest in their stock as an employee, its stackable. Clearly stated i n the company policy. It's like working in coca cola and owning a registered wholesale business where u sell coke and other soft drinks. If their HR gets to know, bros u are gone! |

wuwu2: Well, based on my analysis, the current recommendation will be a hold rather than a buy. Definitely not a sell In any case, stop loss at 13.48 NB: strictly for academic purposes If your stop loss is @ 13.48, trading fund don burn finish already na. My opinion is that, guys who have sold their Zenith at around 15 are predicting a fall so they can buy again. We saw someone still said we will buy Zenith later in the year at 9. Obviously, he has sold all his Zenith and wants us to panic sell too, bro u lie. We are not selling nothing. Even Covid 19 could not drag it to stay @9. We are waiting anyways. |

One of the advantages of real estate, the investment can be converted to other uses
Ess-ay Holdings owned by Adebola Adegunwa with headquarters at Adebola House Opebi Ikeja Lagos is a major shareholder of Sterling Bank and CSCS. BrokerHaruna: Watch out for Guinness. The alcoholic beverage industry has shifted to spirits and related drinks. A field where Guinness is presently dominated. At the current price, I see a lot of promise. Forget that bro. Guinness has been doing the spirit business for a while now. With that we even expected them to be bigger than NB. Still, no show. Maybe bad management, who knows??! |
