TonyeBarcanista:
5. Military Successes Over Boko Haram

25Feb, 2015: APC Senators Praise Jonathan, Military
Senator Maina Lawan(APC Borno) led the praise

"It is only fair Mr. President that this time around, when there is some cheering news, I should mention this to this Senate. I want to say that several territories hitherto inaccessible to Nigerian authorities have been liberated; Mongno which is a high military zone housing a whole brigade of the Nigerian Army has been liberated. Baga my home town has been liberated; the effort is ongoing and I think it is only fair that no matter what is left, it is important that we appreciate what is being done and I want to say that our troops are much more up and doing and we appreciate that effort. We ask them to do more so that in the areas they have liberated, mopping up is concluded for the communities to go back.”

Senators Buka Abba Ibrahim(APC, Yobe) and Ali Ndume Borno chorused the praise.

25 Feb, 2015: House of Reps Hail Jonathan and Military
Motion was led by Hon. Muhammad Tahir Monguno (APC, Borno), and seconded by Hon. Abubakar Momoh (SDP, Edo)
“Almost all the local governments taken over by Boko Haram have now been liberated, so the armed forces require some encouragement from us in the parliament,”
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/house-applauds-jonathan-military-for-onslaught-against-boko-haram/202682/

24 Feb 2015: APC Blasted Jonathan Again
Rather than praise the President and The Army(like others were doing), the APC that has never hidden their stand against the use of force by the Army suddenly did a U-turn to praise the Army(hypocritically) but again lambasted the President, and went political. In the words of Lai Muhammed:

”Is it not curious that the same President who has stood by while Boko Haram decimates a whole section of the country over the past six years has suddenly realized there is something he could do to crush the sect in six weeks? Is it not curious that a military that has been globally acknowledged for its successes in peacekeeping at regional and international levels has suddenly found itself unable to tackle a band of criminals? Is it not curious that the necessary fighting equipment that have not been made available to the military, despite the injection of over 32 billion US dollars into the defence and security sector since 2008, have suddenly become available? President Jonathan, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, must take responsibility for the monumental cost, whether of his incompetence or his political strategy-gone-awry or both, apologize to the nation and immediately back down from seeking re-election. The President must not be allowed to profit from an error of judgement that has cost 15,000 lives, forced over 3 million out of
their homes and cost the taxpayers 32.88 billion US dollars,” APC said.

Btw op doesn't live in Nigeria and he won't be the one to feel the heat of this removal. For example he won't be the one buying tomatoe for N5000 just to make a pot of stew cheesy but zombies already supporting him as expected.
Even the zombies are looking for any visa at all to jet out of Nigeria cos of hardship cheesy but they have to come here to defend shit just to save face.

One year in office and Nigeria has bn taken 10 years backward. Yet they're still promising u change on top of cancelled promises cheesy
By d time those guys finish with this economy, $1 will be N1000
You don't trust GEJ but you trust the faces of change. grin Yeye de smell
It's so unfortunate that I don't know your gender, but I'll try to be careful. Firstly, your view is not clear, are you agitating for bringing in New government or are you saying the last is better? On the N45 promise don't worry, may God keep you alive till then, I have more to explain but you might not comprehend

This is a cry for help!! I have been doing some research on how to import Clean used phones from USA, even though I have been given sites that have good clean phones but after paying duties and tax the selling price in market won't yield profit. I need help from someone in this field or a link to where I can get more details on how to go about it.

Those two schools are nice...I am a graduate of UNILAG but enrolling for UI this year reason is just I want to move away from lagos,am tired of it jhoor.that said either of the schools is nice msc in UNILAG is 12 months and in UI 18 months..there prices are similar although it depends on course ..like masters in english in unilag is 120k and ui is. 125k,u can pay twice is UI am not sure of unilag, accomodation outside the schools is cheap in UI compared to lag..but UI I heard is kinda boring. They both have good lecturers both sadist and otherwise...just do your best leave the rest to GOD...UI start selling formon monday while UNILAG will do so ending..choose well
thank you so much, on my little research I saw 2015 prospectus almost all was two years and the acceptance fee was crazy 61500!

Oh, on that note you are wrong,Alhamdulilah for technology, thousands of teachings are at their disposal but ultimately only Allah opens the mind of his slave to the true path

Throwing all the blame on media. what of you yourselves, are you helping?!

How many times have your clerics come out to publicly condemn these acts of terrorism and also you 'true worshipers' genuinely and heartily condemn it?? instead you prefer to stay mute and indifferent about the whole thing, will one be wrong

Frankly, I'm not against Islam or Muslims. but enough of talking and writing long epistles about 'correcting misconceptions'. Practice what you preach and preach what you practice. The world might forget your words, but never your actions.

As-Salaam alaikum
Farewell, your comment was open- minded Alhamdulillah, May Allah show you the right path. One the issue of priority, Our priority is to submit to the will of Allah and to live with the teaching of Islam. Islam and Terror is like day and night and on no circumstances will a terrorist be a True Muslim, The faith is not just by the mouth, so when someone say Allah Akbar and do terror such person is a blasphemer.
PoliticsRe: National Grazing Bill Still Active In National Assembly - Vanguard by gaffig: 1:47pm On Apr 21, 2016
Sunnycliff:
Let it be passed and see the end of this contraption!

As long as this bill is still alive I will continue to share my findings here for all to see, Read and be Wise!

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GRAZING BILL

The Bill creates a council to be chaired by a Chairman to be appointed by the president.

The council shall have the power to take your land anywhere the land is located in the country and then pay you compensation.

Your land, when taken, shall be assigned to herdsmen who shall use your land for grazing purposes. They shall bring cows to the land and you shall lose the land permanently to those Fulani cattlemen.
If you feel that the council was not right to take your land, you can go to court but before you go to court, you must first of all notify the federal attorney general of your intention to sue the council. Apart from notifying, you must get the consent and authority of the Federal Attorney General before you can sue.

So that means that if the Attorney General refuses to give his consent to the suit, you have lost your land forever to the herdsmen.

And this law, when passed, shall apply to the whole country so it means that your land in the village or anywhere is not safe.

The National Grazing Reserve Council would have the power to take away your land from you anytime they want and pay you whatever they want as compensation (even when you don't want to sell, and remember that for you to get compensation, you must have documents showing or proving ownership).

So I think that we all in the South West, South South and South East must rise up and reject this Bill. We must do all things to force our national Assembly members from passing that bill into law.

That bill is a deliberate attempt to take our lands and hand the land over to the Fulani cattlemen since it is only the fulanis that rear cattle in Nigeria.
That law, when passed, shall fulfil the directive of Uthman Dan Fodio and other northern leaders to take over other parts of Nigeria.

I implore you to use all available means to implore your senator and Rep not to pass that law.

That law will destroy Nigeria.
All over the world, ranches are established and used to rear cattle. The farmers buy land and put there cattle there. There is no country where the land of the citizens are compulsorily acquired and given to others.

This is evil, and designed to favour the Fulanis where the president comes from.
We must resist the passage of that bill into law to save Nigeria, and to protect our future generations.

Emperor Ogbonnaya
wow, bravo to you ...you have tried to confuse the gullible ones here, imagine the way you twisted the bill to your own version. May God reward you for your effort... And some people are already clicking likes... Imagine, it is so clear there is nothing like one Nigeria, Incase you are wondering I'm a typical Yoruba man, ur comments are welcome
