Hello guys, please what happens if a person mentions a previous visa refusal but doesn’t get the month or year correctly? Does this affect your application? It’s something of 10 years ago

Secondly what happens if one mentions different date of parents DOB from what he mentioned in a previous application from Years back. Does it have major consequences?

Please I want your take on this.
I applied for Uk student visa for September intake but I withdrew my application after a month as it was being delayed and my latest date for arrival passed by over 2 weeks. I was to submit a new application for same school and course in January but fortunately for me I received a scholarship I had applied for early last year. I received the scholarship in November so I decided to pursue the program and school where the scholarship covers. I have applied for visa now for this new course and school, does my previously withdrawn application has anything to do with this new one ? Especially as it’s a totally different program

Please I need help. I was told to apply for ptdf funding I have googled and searched the website I can’t seem to find anything related to this. What does this mean please? They said I need to apply for it to be able to receive my letter.

Make some of us calm down. You haven't gotten scholarship yet, you are talking about accommodation. Just too funny.

It is not a must one must go this September 2023. If it delays, defer to 2024.

a lot of students seem to have this situation this September intake and this is what I really think...

even after deadline I don't think you should withdraw your application. what's the guarantee your next application will beat January enrolment?
if your visa is granted after deadline, I don't think you need another visa application if your school defers your start to January with a new document indicating this. you should have a 90 day entry window.
immediately you receive a success mail, write the school a sensible appeal on how you have been following the modules academically (your student portal should be open) and how your late start will not be a hindrance to catching up with studies. some schools will still ask you to come if you are convincing enough. remember that this mail should be addressed to your program leader specifically. he/she is likely the only one that can put in a word in favour.

I have just received an email for interview on the 30th October. I am going to try pleading with the school for more time and sharing the interview email with them hopeful they accept. I don’t know why they set interview for 30th after waiting 1 month.
Also I want to ask about POF, is it wise to take it out yet ? I have had it since June till date because my cas took from June till September to be issued before I finally applied for visa

Hello guys .... my wife's parents were refused visa last week. They are coming to the UK for the daughter's graduation and the daughter indicated she'll be funding everything with about £2,000 each and her statement of account has almost 7k. We plan to reapply immediately because the graduation is 4 weeks away... can we put 1m each in their account and say they plan to spend half of it personally during the trip or we should nullify their own statement of account entirely... below is the screenshot of the refusal letters

Thanks a lot. But in our case we don't have a lot of these documents sha. smiley

I pray you get the visa on time.

At this stage, you can only pray. Your school has been more than magnanimous by extending the deadline.

To the best of my knowledge, if you get the visa after enrollment, you will need to get a new CAS and pay for another visa. And yes, you will also pay for IHS as the visa was actually issued. Also, your landlord in the UK may demand for your full rent as you have probably signed a contract already for the accomodation. Next time, don't buy a ticket till you get the visa (unless you are a frequent flyer).

A lot is at stake. Pray and ask God for mercy. Keep us informed.

Good luck!

Thank you I’m praying and hoping for the best. The school took 3 months to issue my CAS, they were so slow and are the ones that put me in this mess. I’m seriously praying for a miracle

Good evening everyone,
please is there anyone waiting for visa that’s for September intake? I’m still waiting for mine and my latest enrollment date was moved to 23rd October.
My application is priority and no dependant.

Applied 23rd September
Bio 25th September
NSF mail 26th September no additional documents requested.

I have made 4 paid calls and only received 1 escalation email on the 11th October saying they checked my application and have seen that I was informed my application would take longer because it’s not straightforward. That prior to entry clearance mandatory checks need to be carried out and this can take time. I should be patient. It’s currently 15 working days now. ( I paid priority)

My worry is that my school have only granted me 1 more week to enrollment and advice that if I can’t make it I should withdraw my application. I am so worried. I have put in a lot of money, time on this.
I paid rent already in the UK which tenancy started October 1st
I have moved my flight twice paying over 400k each time.

Please guys if someone receives visa after enrollment deadline and the school says you have to differ and give new cas (which I am praying won’t be my case) do you have to pay for another visa application and IHS fee ? Has anyone had such experience?
Please share

Did you receive your visa? And were you able to make the deadline. Please I’m currently waiting for mine

I’m current waiting for a decision on my tier 4 student visa without dependant. (Paid priority) I got the no straightforward email when my application was received by DMC on the 26th September. I have done paid call 4 times, sent a complaint.
‘ I received an escalation mail on the 11th saying that when they can’t meet up service targets they inform the applicant and they can see that a mail was sent to me on the 26th stating this. That prior to making a decision on an application, mandatory checks needs to be done in the individual home country and UK. Although we aim to we aim to decide all applications within published service standards, this is not always possible as the length to complete these checks is dependent on individual circumstances on each case. Each application is subject to mandatory checks which can take time to resolve. Thank you for your patience.

The thing is that my enrollment deadline is close by, it was even for 16th but the school moved it to 23rd for me. And currently I have waited 3 weeks, 15 working days and I paid priority.

Please I have a question, I applied for PTDF scholarship and I have gotten a conditional offer to study September but I have to pay minimum deposit by June 30 and I know by then the award may not be given yet. I’m planing to pay the deposit to secure my admission, is this a good move ? And will I be refunded if I get the scholarship and PTDF funds the bill.
My second question is that someone should please recommend a membership that I can obtain before the interview for the scholarship.
