BascoVanVeli: Baller!! The boy doesn't lack confidence at all. He is the one that took the panenka penalty in the champions league against one north African club. He is a scoring midfielder very slick. Guy, i remember the baller wella....the first Nigerian footballer i saw in more than three decades scoring a Panenka penalty....and HE SCORED IT IN A HIGH TENSION MATCHhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5ChAFc7MFE From 5:20 |

Anybody opposing development of these ports is anti-Nigeria and racist There are pirates patrolling the Bight of Biafra[bight of guinee] yet hundreds of ships pass there everyday

TheSuperNerd: On the MRI revelation, I was expecting some especially among the key players to fail that test. So it is no surprise to me. But what I do care about is the timing of this. We should have done this since two months now and not in August with our first game coming up on September 3rd against Burkina faso.
So many reports, but 15 is the highest reported. Among the key players of the team's core, about Five were affected from what reports said. And the team still played a friendly after that and won 11-0. The situation is what it is and I hope Manu and his crew can quickly readjust the team's shape ahead of Sept.3.
Meanwhile, there are reports that from among the dropped 20 from the intially planned 60 for the test, 15 will be made to undergo the test to see if some of the disqualified players can be replaced.
But again, I saw another report that says the team's list is meant to be submitted soon this week.
In all, the build-up to the Regional qualifiers have not been smooth and the NFF crisis is really bad timing for this team. Time will tell anyway. Yes...the MRI test should have been done as early as possible...so that age issue is treated early...I do not think the crisis in NFF contributed to it because they were already in camp before the latest saga |

Joebie: It’s not a big blow. It’s actually a great thing that they were fished out. This mistake was repeated last year...why MRI test at the end? Why not at the beginning..before all those friendlies they were walloping teams up and down? MRI test comes after picking your team, just before friendlies... |

BascoVanVeli: FIFA is acting like a colonial master with that threat. They want Pinnick in charge because he is a big ally to the president of both FIFA and CAF but they were not fair with Giwa at all. The man won an election fair and square and he was not allowed to participate in the election that Pinnick won. Common sense will tell you that the man has a case but they are just acting like we all are stewpid. How can they just say Giwa has no case with no concrete reason why? All we can do right now is beg Chris Giwa because the man was clearly cheated, I dare anyone here to give a logical reason why he doesn't have a case. FIFA should have ordered a new election plain and simple but they didn't.
Giwa was wrong but Pinnick is just as responsible for this mess. He cheated Giwa and used FIFA to cover his tracks. He even forced Giwa out of the league with bogus violations. Does FIFA influence the International Court of Arbitration? |

[quote author=igboamakaaa post=70228995]Clearly, this huge investment plan was mapped out during GEJ's tenure. I don't think buhari's administration knows much about investment, they mostly borrow without plans on how to refinance the debt and no concrete evidence that the borrowed money was put to Good use.[/quo
Its so terrible. This would have been a massive cash cow...my worry is that haven seen the return from this..no one will think of investing more in it...instead they keep borrowing...my people suffer for lack of knowledge |

forgiveness: Who told you some of these are not under construction?
The truth is most of you here shouting 3rd world upandan are ignorant about the recent development going on in this country. This explains why you are not aware of the solutions profounded to resolve the congestion in Apapa Port. Try to understand the larger view of the discussion....not just awarding contract to Dangote because the road was bad or building truck parks to ease congestion..these are palliative measures..we are a large population that needs good planning to spread development in different city centres...i used deep sea port to make an example...keep your lagos |

Trencin has done well for Nigerian football unlike some no progress clubs, our players end up in. The club also plays good football...the players off the ball movement is good..and they are really making money from selling these players...our clubs gain nothing...just the academies...something must be wrong somewhere...it is our clubs that should be gaining from these transfers instead of academies...only in Nigeria |
