Agriculture › Farmcrowdy-small Profits by gamaliel9(op): 10:34pm On Apr 30, 2018 |
I commend the founders of Farmcrowdy for their innovation and savior-faire in agricultural business technology. The Vice President recently visited their office. However, I think that the interest in Farmcrowdy is too small...6% for 9months,12% for 10months...and another thing is that they have gone ahead to have exquisite offices,chairs,beddings,up-end infrastrature, so soon..dressing chic and decorating lavishly...can a start up begin like this?
Farmcrowdy concept is good like other agrictechs eg growsel,etc..their model is SUSTAINABLE and staff seems COMPETENT.
I think that this low profit they pay out is because of expences and starting with high-end working environment...the staff welfare ,no doubt should at least motivate the workers...my fear is that in the long term, overhead cost or administrative cost will eat up the firm...
Ideas are welcome |

slapandfall: Just wondering why the govt couldnot tackle the herdsmen attack just like they did to IPOB.
They quenched IPOB before it could even breathe but the are paying deaf ears to Herdsmen attack.
This shows injustice and bad leadership.
I am an Edo born so tribalist shouldnot think I am wailing for IPOB. I just think the Government is really bad.
The major reason APC should be removed in 2019 is for politicians to know that they can be voted out by the masses if they misbehave. (Not like PDP is better)
So they can be sharing 4-4years between APC and PDP until the messiah Party comes.. Never again will a party do straight 8years with this abysmal performance Yes,this what is happening in Ghana, the two major political parties are sharing 4-4years,no third force...Ghanians vote out a party for corruption, another one comes on campaigns to fight corruption, after 3 years the people will be fed up with them and vote in the previous party ...the cycle continues. But there is a difference in our own,a third force is rising,so it may be difficult for that cycle to happen here... |

proeast: Sure, anyone familiar with Aba knows all that. Areas like Bakassi in Ariaria is where you will see hundreds of bales of items like shoes, belts, bags and other leather materials and consumer goods being packed for export to different countries. Places like Kent off Azikiwe and Asa roads in town area of Aba is where you will see all sorts of clothes like shirts, boxers, singlets, overall, uniforms, bedspreads, suits etc being sown by thousands of people and being packed as well for delivery to different parts of the country and export. Aba is just like a small China where almost everything is being produced. I was in one shop when the owner and his workers were branding newly sown blue shirts with the name of a Nigerian bank being crested on them. What marveled me most was how local the shop was yet was producing such neat and beautiful shirts. Aba captures how worthless Nigeria is and why it would be very difficult for this country to ever develop. A responsible government would have provided an enabling environment for this hardworking and skilled producers yet the place is not even in the least conducive with thousands of small generators polluting everywhere with noise and dangerous fumes. Bad roads, filthy environment and flooding whenever it rains! Can any government be more wicked and insensitive than this? Yet one idiotic bastard is somewhere calling youths lazy! The mentality of the average Aba man is not different from that of Shanghai man but the difference is the respective government of both countries What i saw there was machine-a combination of men, sewing machines and generators producing money...is Nigeria cursed? I am happy that the Governor and Abaribe are scratching the surface but i tell you if the environment for production and business is enhanced...those guys will stand toe-to-toe with China, Vietnam,Thailand,Lesotho...the whole place was buzzing. Chineke mee ebere...Biafra my Biafra...it is well... I wish that the governor will put more resources into Aba, at least IGR should increase too Aba is a diamond mine. |

On the other hand, there is nothing new in this report, Igbos have been exporting goods all over Subsaharan Africa using Onitsha, Lagos, Nnewi and Aba as launchpads. One day i was in Aba,one man came and collected bales of sewed shirts[short-sleeve],complete with his personal branding inside the collar oooo,he was packaging them country by country..Cote D`Ivoire, Ghana, even as far as Congo etc..i looked around and i saw that many other tailors were sowing and packing similar shirts in bundles.... |

White007: When will INEC begin the prosecution process of the initiators of the Dino Melaye's recall petition?
How did the petitioners get the authentic VIN and names of Kogi voters without having access to INEC database and without the consent of the people (voters)? INEC database is supposed to be a confidential national asset. What this means is that INEC sells our information to people and without our consent. This is a serious national issue.
Now that we know that the sponsors and initiators of the Dino recall process forged thousands of voters signatures and had access to INEC database where they extracted VIN and names of Kogi voters without their consent, what next?
Who would investigate INEC for it's involvement in this fraud? Will INEC prosecute the initiators of the petition for forgery?
Are we going to let this pass too?
Thank you Sir...it is good that this happened NOW so that we become more vigilant as general elections come. The process is as important as the end...where are all those NGOs that support democracy and rights?...i think these people that their signatures were forged and vin collected from INEC will not be able to sue INEC,one woman even said she came out because she was told that money will be shared,do you think such a person can sue? I saw an interview Dino granted saying that people wil go to jail after the recall process...let us hope that when he gets on his feet,he will help his constituents to sue INEC and put fear into people preparing to rig 2019 elections...it is not enough to get your pvc, also be vigilant on the day of election
How did we come this low as a country? |

In another view nobody sees to notice a connivance with Inec against the wish of the people. How did Inec get those signatures. They even went to court to present fake signatures. This country sha Thank you Sir. This is my biggest worry....PROCESSS,WE MUST GET THE PROCESS RIGHT..how did dead peaople appear there? Who forged those signatures? Certainl,y the papers were under INEC guidance and in their possession... who signed them? This is why i think that INEC should be sued by these people for FORGERY AND IMPERSONATION. Perhaps we will here that snakes signed those signatures. |

However,I think that some are retreating...i do not know if they are paid campaigners....for sometime noe SARRKI has stopped posting...perhaps one of his ancestors has been murdered in Benue..Sai Baba worked wonders in 2015,just mention it you win but today PERCEPTION of that is changing...one woman had the courage to say that she was told that money was being shared thats was why she came out....One other man said his signature was forged....and so on...Certainly,there will be more drama, ignominy, and shame in the weeks and months to come. The fabled 12million votes of Buhari, has evidently started dwindling in Kogi... Bello is gone,no amount of rigging can stop his non-re-election,that is,if he gets nominated.
Bubuinho has lost BAUCHI,BENUE,TARABA,NASSARAWA AND ADAMAWA...If Saraki leaves Apc,be sure that Wamakko and Tambuwal will follow,so Sokoto is included,South West--he will lose Ekiti,Osun, battle Lagos like last time...If you field a Northern candidate[pdp zoned it to North] like Sule Lamido, hmmmm, further depletion will occur....
In all these,Buhari SHALL be sent back to Daura |
