Most senseless piece ever. Just like saying a christian govt (America) invaded and destabilised a Muslim society( Afghanistan), and after 20 years, their clueless leader and army chiefs wanted to run away without cleaning the mess they created in Afghanistan.
The message here for me though is for the world to see the hypocrisy of U.S. Thanks to Nigerian Army for fighting this insurgency war alone. the best one should do is to buy ammunitions from America and not involve them in any domestic war. There is a lesson here for Africans from this event.

Every damn problem in the middle east is as a result of western invasion. What were they looking for there in the first place.
US pulling out of Afghanistan is the best thing. If the Afghan government couldn't withstand the Taliban, it means they are not strong enough to be in charge.
Countries should give the Taliban conditions that they respect human rights and do away with their extreme laws in order for them to be recognised. That's the way forward.

Trump's plan was to leave in September this year and he even said so in April 2021. I might be wrong but I doubt leaving a few weeks earlier is the cause of this palaver.

The Afghan military and Govt were not ready to handle the Taliban. However, if after 20 years, they still didn't have enough training for the Taliban, then it's on then.

Don't forget though too that Trump's deal included the release of 5000 Taliban prisoners who have likely taken up arms again.

This should be a subtle message to those nitwits in Nigeria, who always like running to America and others for help. What is happening in Afghanistan now should be reminder that anywhere the U.S set foot, or claim to liberate, always end up like this. Libya, Iraq and other countries should be perfect examples.
