The man is correct to an extent, and the reason is because Igbos are never all converged in one party due to money politics.
Unlike SW where Lagos revenue feed the political party (AD, AC, ACN) no matter the state, Igbo politicians must rely on outsiders for sponsorship because they are in different political parties.
He who pays the Piper, dictates the tune.
The panacea is one strong regional party, and you can negotiate standing on it. |

udele1: Nnamdi kanu is working for the fulani to destroy Igbo's politically and economically.
So that he can sell the message of hatred to Igbo's and increase donations to the scam.
By 2023, no president, No Biafra. Kanu will tell them that it is because of hatred for igbos. That they should put more money into Biafra. Since Kanu is working for destruction, who then is working for progress and trying to bring Igbos under one umbrella for good? |

Deadlytruth: In Lagos, restructuring was very clear in meaning as a more decentralized structure hence that understanding formed the basis on which Osinbajo pursued it as Lagos State Attorney General. But in the larger Nigerian context restructuring has various meanings to various individuals and groups so Osinbajo has a point in demanding clarification of the concept as it relates to the entire Nigeria. If you read Atiku's dissertation on restructuring in between the lines you would be shocked to see a section of it where he still advocated greater control of revenue by the FG. Similarly haven't you heard some Nigerians bringing into the restructuring narrative things that merely have to do with the reforms of certain institutions? In fact some people talk about reducing the number of political parties as a part of restructuring when in actual fact restructuring is all about decentralization of powers and nothing about political parties. Lies. Acn had always advocated for full regional autonomy. |

RZArecta: Simon Kolawole isn't intelligent, he's trying to be clever by half. Who told him SW states will be a parasite on Lagos if Oduduwa republic finally comes to reality for example ? I guess the hack has never been to Oyo and Ogun neither has he been to Osun or know what's in the ground there. Oduduwa republic already has an abundance of intellectuals who can chart a devastatingly effective viable course for the country whereby they won't need to depend on federal allocations to move forward. A twenty year master plan will see the region developed beyond anyone's wildest dreams because they're already ready. I don't want to talk about Biafra, they just need to get rid of potential despots like Nnamdi Kanu but we already know what they can do with the little at hand. Fact of the matter is that Nigeria can work but not under this present structure. Nigeria won't work under the present oppression and suppression it's going through until we have that discussion our leaders don't want us to have I thought you could have analyzed the SS too since you are Ijaw. Kanu and his IPOB are only a part of the struggle. It's base to think Kanu would rule Biafra when it's actualized. The writer made a lot sense, My grouse however is that he failed to do justice on why people want out in the first place. |

Grayoso: Lol. Check out this clown. Why would I want Igbo support for Osinbajo when I know you guys are only able to play politics of hate, enmity and toxicity?
When have you guys ever voted for the best candidate for the job? In every election, most Igbos will always obey a need to vote in favour of primordial and hateful sentiments rather than pragmatically support the best hand hands available.
I am merely pointing out that no one expects you Igbos to support Osinbajo's candidacy. You would rather support and praise the candidacy of the political founder of Boko Haram, i.e Ali Modu Sheriff, if he is running against Osinbajo in 2023.
That is how emotionally toxic and ethnocentrically hateful you IPOBians are. You will never be found supporting what is best for the majority. Only what satisfies your desire for politics of ethno-religious hate and vindictiveness against others. I didn't read ooo As soon as I saw the length of the mass Rubbish... |

You are just jumping shamelessly and disgracefully from pillar to post. Like I said before, you are in the minority. Your politics of hate, enmity and toxicity has never gotten you anywhere and never will. Certainly not in 2023.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/04/osinbajo-backs-calls-restructuring/amp/ Osunbande in ACN championed restructuring. Osunbande in APC wants restructuring clearly defined. |
