IT4ALL: Somebody should post d picture of irib tv, d position of d dish ãήϑ its direction ãήϑ location of d lnb...tanxs...

Twinsoris: This is to make it easy for our Ghana friends WHO has 90cm dish and 1.8M and also 2.4M dish .
For 90cm dish you can track BADR 6 with this TP 12303 H 27500 the tp comes with 5 channels.
For those with 1.8 should use the TP 12303 H 27500 and 12267H27500 for MBC HD etc...
For 2.4M should TP 12303 H 27500 and blindscan for huge package of JSC SPORT 1-10 and make sure you get maximum signal for other TP .
This are the guidelines .....
Make sure that you track multitv signal first on 90-98% and slightly lift the dish up about 2 cm -3cm then TP 12303 H 27500 will pop up.
For 90 cm 57% minimum.

For 1.8 cm 65% minimum.
For those with 2.4M 65%-70% and use 11727 h 27500, 11747v27500 and 11843h27500 or blindscan for more channels.

petfun4u: Thanks my brother, Like I said that time, I cannot yet see Al Jazeera sports channel at Yahsat but they are showing EPL now. Because of that I migrated from my 1m dish to 2.4m t0 accommodate Jsc +6 to +10. I was only ale to watch +1 to +5 with my 1m dish formally. I wish to post the picture of my 2.4m set up, and see how I attached Arabsat 20E to it with IRIB dancing well on it.

Rextab: i have a 2 in 1 set up on a 90cm.
12728 is at 75% at night.
Mbc is stable through out.
I used to have problems at first,but after i dropd the mbc freq from 11192 to 11185. I have never had problems.

The primary lnb is at 16/17 deg while the additionl is w3a.

naijaobi: ok bro if u av tracked amos 5@17 east, input 4054H27500 at any cband satellite in ur receiver, mek sure ur dish settings at d receiver is set well... Then move ur dish a little bit upwards...just a little bit... U shud hit green..
Wen u hit green there, then input 3964V30000.. Scan and irib will pop out...

naijaobi: this IRIB package must be a witch o..can u believe dat from mornimg till arround 12pm it will be showing very very very clear @ 63%.... 63 percent o... Bt once its 12 pm, d id!ot will turn back to 37% and be red... Smh...

16.0°E Eutelsat 16A = 10804H/30000
17.0°E Amos 5 = 11884V/27500
28.2°E Astra 2F = 12522V/19531
36.0°E Eutelsat 36A = 12275V/11200
1. The above listed satellites can they be tracked using C- band dish of 1.8M and LNBF or it is strictly for KU band, kindly help me to indicate which one can serve both KU band and c-band together and which serve KU band only and C- band only and if yes will they be at the same frequency for C-band and KU band...
2. Also please are there universal LNBF that can track both C-band frequency and at the same time track Ku band frequency and how much does it cost any idea.
3. And will it equally work anywhere in Nigeria because I am based in Yola Adamawa state and that is North east so please kindly advice...
4. And please does anyone have the idea of motorized installation that drives the dish to the required direction without manual repositioning at all times...

abymoore: Now here is the truth, track it with 4056H27500 wen u hit green wit it u blindscan u will ve everythng cuz even wit 90cm i ve hit green here in akwa ibom state buh wit no irib buh i got irib wit a frnd's 1.2m so i had to get myself 1.8m......d lnbf skewing dnt really matter wen tracking. Rememba its a little above amos and make sure ur diaplate goes in well, for my software version im using 302p, cheers

Now below conversion is valid when lnb high band lo frequency setting is 10600 ku band..
try this on intelsat 20 @ 68.5east for ku band.... using my tv frequency which is high band..if your lnb setting is already at 9.750/10.600 leave setting as it is.. try this for ku band frequencies between 11700 to 12725

where lnb high band lo frequency=10600 and C-Band lo frequency =5150
my-tv parameter @ 68.5east = 12722 v/h 26657

12722-10600=2122
subtract 5150 from 2122
5150-2122=3028...this is my-tv c-band conversion...move dish to 68.5east ..go to any c band satellite configuration and add this frequency and symbol rate it will be green..my-tv;3028 v 26657
