These are hospitals or major health facilities credited as newly built or established by the Anambra State government under Peter Obi.

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Awka – developed as the first state-owned teaching hospital in Anambra.

Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre, located inside St. Joseph Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu (specialised heart surgery centre).
