Reasons Why Tinubu Can't Win the 2027 Election

My people, the signs are clear as daylight.

Bola Tinubu will not win the 2027 election. This man has turned Nigeria into a headquarters of suffering with his bad policies and complete lack of empathy. From shattered economy to total security collapse, it is simply too much for Nigerias to bear another 4 horrific years of Tinubu, Nigeria will not survive it.

The economic pain alone is enough to reject him. The fuel subsidy removal and naira float that Tinubu crudely and implemented has brought total hardship for all Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion. Food prices have tripled, inflation is devouring households, and businesses are collapsing everywhere. Approval ratings even from Tinubu's kitchen hover around 30 percent with massive disapproval.

How can anyone vote for more hunger when children are crying every day and going hungry every night? It's not possible.
On the security , he is a complete failure. For the very first time in Nigeria's history, military generals are dying like flies under this administration. Brigadier General Oseni Braimah, Major General Rabe Abubakar and others have been cut down by bandits and terrorists. Instead of decisive action and proper mourning, Tinubu and his loyalists were busy partying even as one of these heroes was being buried. While families cry blood, Aso Rock pops champagne. A heartless leader has no match like this one.

Remember the Yelwa Plateau massacre? When gunmen slaughtered innocent Nigerians? The only reason they died is that Tinubu is president. Tinubu could not even visit the victims to console them. He stopped halfway with no deep engagement.
Remember when Victims were dragged to the Kaduna airport for a quick 10-minute photo-op. He mumbled something about no light at the airport and flew off immediately. No hospital visits, no real comfort for grieving families.

This man treats Nigerians as if they have no feelings, just fly-by gestures and empty promises. He shows nothing but pure undiluted wickedness.
Even his own ally El-Rufai, who supported him before, was detained under ICPC. His mother died while he was still in detention. The woman's health worsened from the stress of seeing her son locked up like a criminal. They released him later for the burial but the damage was already too much. How will Tinubu face Northern people after this kind of government harassment and betrayal?

And talk about borrowing. Tinubu has borrowed far more than previous administrations combined since 1960 that were still paying fuel subsidies. In three years, Tinubu has added tens of trillions in debt. Over 65 trillion, surpassing even what Buhari borrowed over eight full years with subsidy still in place. Is he taking Nigerians for fools? He removed the subsidy claiming it would save money and reduce borrowing, yet the debt is exploding like never before while people continue to suffer. Where is all that money really going? Pure deceit and wickedness at the highest level.

Internationally, there is no confidence in him. The Trump administration is showing serious disapproval over the insecurity, killings and general mess. Tinubu had to spend millions lobbying just to calm tensions. The Israeli government is not smiling with him either.

Karma also has come for Tinubu. The same US government under Barack Obama that they used to remove Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 with propaganda, lies and blackmail criticism is the same America under Trump that now wants Tinubu out. Jonathan said it clearly before. History is repeating itself bitterly. The forces that helped bring him to power are now showing him the exit door.

Worse still, his close allies like Bayo Onanuga and Abike Dabiri are not helping matters. Instead of working for national unification, they consistently unleash tribal and ethnic slurs against one section of the country, especially the Igbo side. Onanuga openly says he owes no apology for calling them threats to Yorubas. Abike shows no restraint either. They are dividing Nigeria further instead of bringing people together. How can anyone win a national election when his boys keep scattering the country with hate speech?

Reject Tinubu is trending in streets, markets and online. Tinubus billboards and campaign vehicles are constantly attacked by frustrated and angry Nigerians wherever they see them.
Northern anger, Southern frustration, everywhere there is rage,anger and.

Tinubu thinks Nigeria is his personal Lagos empire that he can control forever. But 2027 will send him to his political grave forever.

The masses are ready for a revolution. Tinubu, your time is up. Nigerians will deliver the ultimate savage slap at the polls. It will be total rejection. God save Nigeria from this kind of useless leadership. 2027 is the year we sweep this nonsense away once and for all..

Where will Tinubu's votes come from? In 2023, he got defeated by Obi in the South, winning only 4 Yoruba states out of 17 Southern states. He became president because of the 5.6m Northern votes. Atiku has barely lost a voter from his 6.9m votes in 2023 but he has made huge incursions into the North with the demise of Buhari and Tinubu's betrayal of the Northern allies that helped him to galvanise votes.

For the past few days, Peter Obi has been trending on various social platforms over his dispute with Kenneth Okonkwo and NDC party leaders regarding party primary finances. Many Nigerians have been on several social media platforms, venting their anger at Kennneth Okonkwo in support of Peter Obi while others attack Peter Obi in support of Kenneth Okonkwo. While the political war rages, I've on several threads on this platform, made the case that an igbo presidency is an exercise in futility, a taboo in Nigeria, I made the case that Peter Obi in choosing to pursue this, is only deceiving his gullible followers with the fake promises he keeps dishing out when he wins (allowed) to rule the contraption. Peter Obi knows he can't deliver, he knows that systemic injustice is Nigeria's second name, he knows that many of his people the igbos will continue to be endangered, persecuted, marginalized and unjustly treated under "One Nigeria". I've tried to call the attention of his cult-like supporters over Peter Obi's lies, the futility of their quest for an igbo presidency in 2027 but none of them are ready to stomach this painful bitter truth, none of them are courageous to see the bigger picture. Even when they know that 2027 presidential election outcome will not be fair to them as long as a dubious power hungry president like Tinubu who enjoys a "One-Party" state is in charge, they continue to wallow in self-deceit hoping somehow they will vote out APC begin to enjoy Nigeria once Peter Obi becomes president. A pipedream that many may never recover from when reality dawns on them next year.

Peter Obi's popularity has soared over the past few days as more Nigerians are made through media hype to believe in him and his presidential candidacy, many now see Peter Obi as a messiah, not just a messiah but a saint who is different from other dirty Nigerian politicians, this notion is shared partly due to his antecedents as former governor and his campaign rhetorics. Peter Obi may have succeeded in reinventing himself personally from an average everyday Nigerian politician to a messianic saint in national politics, but one irredeemable issue that he will continue to face which will perpetually haunt his political ambition and he won't be able to influence no matter how he tries will be the hopeless vicious tribalism, religious intolerance and ethnic profiling that is at the center of Nigeria's cosmetic union. Even in the midst of Nigeria's divisive national polity, there are many Nigerians across different ethnicities, who genuinely like Peter Obi and support his presidential campaign, you find these set of people singing his praise everyday on various platforms, they say he is a not corrupt, he cares about them that he is a good man..... I am yet to be convinced about all the positives things been said about Peter Obi, especially on the aspect that he means well for Nigerians. How can he be a good man or genuinely care for Nigerians when he sees how hopeless, retrogreasive and destructive it is in keeping "One Nigeria" going but choose to support it's continued existence? He continues to connive with other political selfish Abuja opportunists to uphold the subjugation of not just all Nigerians but especially his own people the igbos many of whom have severally called for their right to self-determination to be respected. In my opinion, Peter Obi is no different from other political beneficiaries of Nigeria's rot, just like other selfish igbo politician who know the truth that "One Nigeria" is a hopeless cause but choose to deceive their followers, Peter Obi prides himself as the messiah of "One Nigeria" for no other reason but to fulfill nothing but his personal ambition of becoming the next president of the contraption. I will use this medium to once again remind Peter Obi and his supporters "Obidients" especially those among them who mean well that this quest for an igbo presidency in 2027 will end in shame not because Obi is the worst candidate or that he didn't deserve a fair shot but because of the structural flaws of Nigeria as an entity. Peter Obi will pay the ultimate price of not just losing out totally but will be completely humiliated by Nigeria in due time if he pushes on with his deceit, if he continues to deceive Nigerians, many who genuinely want a better future to end the suffering they face under a forced fraudulent union like Nigeria. It is not too late for Peter Obi to write his name in gold by doing what will actually make a big positive difference in the lives of all Nigerians, which is, collapsing his presidential campaign and instead use the massive political goodwill he enjoys now to support the call for a referendum towards total decentralization or dissolution of Nigeria. Nigerians will be better off in the event of a national reset than recycling same retrogressive electoral process of installing another pretender as president, a move that continues to serve the selfish interests of a few powerful politicians feeding fat on the hopelessness of the masses.

Nothing good or beneficial to the masses will come from an igbo presidency or keeping "One Nigeria" going.... Peter Obi knows this.....

I do not dispute some of your assertions in this comment, you are right to an extent that ignorant Nigerians who allow political jobbers and conmen to decide their fate and future will not want a credible Igbo man like Peter Obi to become President because of fear of the positive disruptions it would cause in Nigerian political terrain and Nigeria at large which will definitely not favor the political class holding Nigeria down.

As for Peter Obi leaving ADC, it was for two reasons; one being that Presidency and their political mercenaries were ready to destroy ADC with the judiciary if Peter Obi had remained in ADC, they only allowed ADC to have some breathe after Peter Obi left. Obi and us in his camp saw it and analyzed and supported his move.


Yes it made sense aligning with Atiku to ascend to Presidency, but that has never been Peter Obi's mission after his 2023 run....it will make him look desperate for power and he is not desperate to become President at all cost....he believes if Nigerians truly want him to serve them sincerely, that they should put in their effort and support him to emerge....and he also believes in the will of God....he doesn't believe in do or die....its not his person....and aligning with Atiku as Vice to win in order to become President through Atiku didn't sound well for him....he didn't like the idea....it looked cunning and dishonest....and what if Atiku becomes President and messes things up like Buhari and Tinubu; that will forever destroy Peter Obi's image and all that he stands for and believes in.

Kenneth Okonkwo's anger with Peter Obi are:


1.) That Peter Obi won 2023 Presidential election and that instead of Peter Obi to be brave and fearless to challenge his stolen mandate physically by encouraging the angry and waiting Obidient Movements to shutdown Nigeria with protests against any odds, that Peter Obi cowardly went to court controlled by Buhari and APC hoping to get justice. This was his main anger with Peter Obi.

He concluded that Peter Obi was a coward that can never become Nigeria's President with his civilized and calm way of approach to Nigerian politics.


He expected Peter Obi to lead a protest demanding that INEC denounce the earlier declaration of Tinubu as the the winner.


2.) He was angry that Peter Obi wasn't dishing out money to him during the 2023 campaign, he actually spent some of his own personal money to book flights and pay for hotel accommodation, Peter Obi made it clear that he just wants to render service to Nigeria and not to grab power to start making money and living large like Nigerian politicians do, and therefore he is not going to squander his own money trying to serve Nigeria to build a better Nigeria for all Nigerians. That he does not believe in money politics, that politics should be like a volunteer work and not a moneybag takes it all affair.




3.) He is angry with Peter Obi leaving the ADC coalition which he saw as his shortest cut to get to Presidency under Atiku. He knew Peter Obi leaving have reduced ADC's chances and he feel so frustrated about it and ready to do anything to stop Peter Obi so that Atiku can emerge winner in 2027.
