lordkay10: These Obi people are a joke. Abaribe should give us the figures with which Obi won. There's no dirty tactics they didn't deploy to foist that failed former governor on everyone out of desperation for Ibo presidency but they were disgraced, couldn't handle the disgrace, so they have to keep insisting he won. The desperation was so much that they the figures from their 5 states were among the last results to be released, because they were busy cooking figures to see how they can catch up with Tinubu's lead. Una go run mental in 2027
I noticed it also.
Obi could not have won with those figures.
They used their ugm and ip-ob to threaten people who wanted to vote tinubu or Atiku.
Reason why both candidates perform woefully.
This time rigging in the southeast will not be allowed.
discusant: Oduduwa Republic agitators are too many in your SW region. Perhaps, more people from the SW now seek for secession from Nigeria than people in the southeast, despite the fact that Buhari clan used INEC chairman to concede victory to Tinubu in 2023.
Tinubu once said he didn't believe in one Nigeria.
We saw how Biafra agitation turn the southeast to a peaceful Monday sit at home.
marv1: Abaribe is saying the truth. He is not a joker . Your Pablo Escobar is a joker who used INEC and judiciary to win election is a joke. If Tinubu who has everything about him controversial , wants to win election why not make free and fair, why not make it electronically transmitted, yet you evil people keep using police, military , judiciary, INEC to steal wining election . God will not make it happen next election because you guys are evil and terrible.
Abaribe always defending his ibo brother obi and nnamdi kanu.
Maryiah: d biggest wrong calculations u got was wen doz govs were defecting n u tink it's cos of love? Dey r Dr as moles. So Tinubu led APC FG is obviously the number 1 enemy of Nigeria, people that lied to you that they were on a mission to Portugal, and yet Portugal denied it, the government that keeps covering the truth and comforting dundiees like you with obvious lies and yet you believe them. Keep on messing yourself up all in the name of Tinubu mandate I shall die, don't grow some sense

The fact that this REGION is a disgrace when in Governance shows how pathetic they are.

All these nnamdi kanu followers and peter obi supporters.
The pained of the failed coup hit your people really bad.
Professor Wole Soyinka has criticised the 'excessive security' deployment around President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's son, Seyi Tinubu, saying that it reflects poorly on Nigeria's security priorities.
Some online have commended Soyinka’s comments, stating that leaders’ children are not elected officials and that security should protect more than a privileged few.
Mabuggi88: The enemies of Nigeria are those who see their oppressors and hail them even when they have failed to protect them security wise. The real enemies are also those who praise sing the political class to believe that they have done well for the citizens even as they know they are suffering the citizens, the real enemies of Nigeria are those who collect crumbs from political class and come to social media like NL and defend them leaving others who are also supposed to benefit languishing in suffering. You better have a remorse for your fellow humans and fellow owner of the nation
Did you include those oppressed in the S.E by kanu and ekpa boys.
owobokiri: What is the correlation between Peter Obi/Nnamdi Kanu and Benin Republic/coup/Russia/Nigeria? What exactly is the colour of your problem? Is it that you can't process basic information without hacking back to all sorts of tribal outbursts!? Why is it that any opposition of your messiah at Aso Rock is seen as a tribal war by you guys? So much so that every other topic is viewed and anaysed with a tribal lense!? And finally, why all the laughing emojis? Who's is laughing with you!
owobokiri: I was just watching a foreign media analysis of the events in Benin Republic just now and you can easily see that most international commentators are very much aware that Nigeria is being used by the French to entrench the French ruthless subjugation of her former West African territories. This is alarming, although most pro APC Internet hire lings seem to think that these events are the sort to brag about. All of a sudden , under this administration, Nigeria that used to be a source of help to pro African forces across the continent, is now the country that is ready to go to war in order to keep fellow African States in check for the west.
This is not the first time that Tinubu has felt a pressing need to unleash Nigerias waining military might on fellow West African countries in order to protect very unpopular pro western governments in these places. Few weeks after he assumed office as the president of Nigeria and the head of ECOWAS, Tinubu came close to declaring war on three West African countries, namely; Mali 🇲🇱, Burkina Faso and Niger 🇳🇪. His immediate grouse being the overthrow of the government in Niamey. His increasingly belligerent utterances ultimately led the three countries to declare a military pact that requires the three to fight together against any country or group of countries that attacks them! It was a game changer..
Now Benin Republic! A coup was announced by Benins junior militaty officers few hours ago. To all watchers, the officers were already cruising to victory as the western puppet of a president, Mr Talon, disappeared into his rat-hole hiding from his people. The people of Benin Republic who seem to have grown really tired of their French subjugators basically welcomed the coup. There were no protests even in the capital Cotonou. The young coupits were heading to victory in the mode of Captain Traore of Burkina Faso and the other military leaders in Mali and Niger when Tinubu in his messaic state, ordered The Nigerian Airforce to join the French military in subduing the coup. Almost the same way Nigeria allowed the French and the Americans to shoot their way into the Ivorian Presidential mansion to remove President Gbagbo and impose Quattarra, in clear violation of international laws.. Nigeria Airforce actually "bombed" some parts of Benin as a result. This will surely elicit some sort of consequences for Nigeria and Nigerians internationally.. Let's look at the possibilities..
1) Nigerians should be bracing up for a fast growing anti Nigeria feelings across the west African subregion in particular, and also across Africa and the black world in general. The reasons are very simple; these administrations across the west African region that are being removed in these series of coups are mainly regimes that were surreptitiously imposed by the imperialistic Western powers, especially the restless French. As a result, these regimes have basically pauperised the citizens of these people to favour the French. Take Niger Republic as an example. Niger exports most of her uranium to France for nothing until the military putsch. Now the country is racking in billions of dollars annually from the sales of the same product. Infact, villages around the uranium sites were left impoverished without amenities. Their only gain was being perennially exposed to radiation. Essentially the coup was like a saving grace and the people of Niger will see anyone/people trying to reverse that coup as supporters of their oppressors.
2) Nigeria exposes herself to the possibility of having other nations getting involved in her domestic political affairs. It is very simple; if you thrive in dabbling into the domestic issues of other countries, you too will find yourself in similar realities especially with Nigerias pronounced political/religious/ethnic/regional vulnerabilities. Infact, few weeks ago, we had the Americans threatening to basically bomb Nigeria! That should have been an eye opener for policy makers in Abuja. Nigeria has peculiar realities that can easily attract other countries to choose sides. Especially in the context of our dibbilitating ethnic politics. Matters are not helped by the fact that Nigerias military struggles these days against ragtag insurgent groups. Foreign countries unhappy with Nigerias penchant for military strikes outside her shores might want to muddle the waters internally here to keep Nigerians busy..
3) This is where it becomes very dangerous! Most of these coups didn't just happen. I mean, what me and you see are a bunch of badly dressed military officers of a struggling West African army reading out wayward orders on national TV. But what should worry policy makers in the region is to know the real identities of the backers of these coups. I mean the powerful nations backing these regional attempts to wrestle French West Africa from the imperialistic grip of Paris. Who are they? What is/are their goals? And most importantly, how far are they willing to go to ensure the success of these operations. These are very important/pertinent questions for obvious reasons...
You have to understand that the French are a powerful bloc in the European Union 🇪🇺 and the NATO organisation. The French solidly supports President Zelensky and Ukrains attempt to wean herself of Putin/Russians influences. The French have a significant military industrial complex. But most importantly, you have to understand that the French gets a whole lot of her raw materials and economic power from the African continent, especially her former West African colonies. This was so because of all the stooges they have planted in the different state houses post independence. If you are able to remove these fake French proxies of presidents in West Africa and support characters that are ideologically opposed to French imperialism as the new presidents, you end up massively undercutting the French abilities to threaten you in your own countries back home, because the French will ultimately lack the economic wherewithal to do so. It is only the rich that projects power..
At the same time, if any country (read Nigeria) is helping the French to maintain the status quo by supporting these West African pro French regimes, that country has inadvertently thrown herself into a global confrontation that can easily go badly. Nigeria is openly projecting herself as an "anti Russia 🇷🇺 " regional power in West Africa. Russia is not into all these alone. The Chinese will gain from a Russian win in this tussle. These two countries and her allies are enormously capable in terms of their military reach. Nigeria is not! Infact, Nigeria is like a sitting duck here.
My conclusion here is that if Nigeria under a wayward Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency continues to harangue these super powers in a bid to pay back the French for their support to him during the elections, these powers might decide to unravel Nigeria instead. That will surely not be nice. It is even more frightening when you realise how easy it will be for say the Russians to support Boko haram or the fulani herdsmen with a couple of military drops from neighbouring countries. Nigeria is extremely vulnerable here. The French can not even help Tinubu if push comes to shove...
Piting Nigeria against the people of French West Africa/Russia/China is a dumb strategic move that can only benefit Tinubu politically during the next elections, but may leave him with a highly fractured nation to govern after his win... He is not supporting democracy in Benin Republic and Niger. He is defending Western imperialism with Nigerias fledgling military assets..
By fighting the French in Africa, the Russians are fighting for their lives. .. Those who stand in their way will surely receive some upper cuts...
