Not necessary except the school instructs you to do so. Even if the school doesn’t instruct you, if you have the money, I recommend you do it. The service pretty much will help you convert your gpa into Canadian style system and offer authentication of your transcript. These can prevent a lot of hassles for the school and VOs. It won’t leave them wondering whether the transcripts you submitted is real or what scale your grades on the Canadian system lie or can be compared to. It helps cut their work short in essence. You can also use the WES for EXpress Entry later, which is an added benefit.

@jnyuwa. In a situation where you can't get transcript from your school to attach it with your visa application, but you've had your transcript evaluated by WES. Will it be safe to state it in your SOP, by adding WES number and, hoping that the VO will contact WES, during their regular checks and, information regarding your WES evaluated transcript will be shared by both parties?

* I am asking this because getting WES to send the transcript to Ghana or wherever the visa is being processed would be cumbersome and may cause financial strain. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello House. One question: is it a must to have sponsor(s) transfer funds to applicant's personal account regardless of if they are immediate family? e.g Parents, Sibling. Is it not enough for the said sponsor(s) to show 4-6 months statement of their own account as stated by CIC?
@Frankrobbn1 and other gurus. Thanks.

You mum should submit her payslip, soa, and employment documents (letter, ID). Your Dad should submit his sos, pension documents and any other source he earns money.
NB: No problem using the joint account as long as it has enough cash in it, also they should write a joint letter of support stating they are sponsoring you and have enough to carter for the entire duration of your program

Thanks brother.

House, please I need clarification. My parents (Dad and Mum) are my sponsors. My dad is retired but my mum still works. How will I show source of income for the both, i.e employment letter etc. Note: the account statement I want to present is their joint account. Thanks.

@wierdpc, @austinepee4, @jnyuwa, @frankrobben, @mcobex

Hello, here is the link.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/requesterInformation

The challenge is you need someone who resides in Canada legally to apply on your behalf. it is CAD $5.
You will have to fill and sign a consent form IMM5744 and send to the person that wants to apply on your behalf.

Regards

Please how can I sign the IMM5744E form? By hand i.e printing out the form and sign with pen and then scan?

Please house, I want to apply for my GCMS note, the one I have to pay $5 for. I understand it takes less time to process because I want to reapply as soon as I can.
Please advise.

Hello house, I am new on this platform.
My application is about to exceed the normal processing time. Is it better to send a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) or to send an email to the Canadian Embassy or both? In the case of an email, what is the correct email address I can use to communicate with the Embassy?
Please advise.
@canadiannurse @amnotapervert @maziude @mcobex @austinpee4 @maralina and all the gurus in the house.

Hello house, I am new on this platform and I am impressed by what I'm seeing here.

My study permit application is about to exceed the normal processing time.

Is it better to send a case specific enquiry (cse) or to send an email to CIC or both. In the case of an email, what is the correct email address I can use to contact the embassy?

To all gurus in the house please advice.
