A controversial female art-lover has left people dazed visitors in a museum after she walked about naked with her baby equally naked while she looked at nude paintings. 32-year-old Milo Moire, faced several criticisms last year after she pushed eggs out of her vagina. Wow, Ashley Graham Looks Sultry In New Photos As She Sheds About 20lb Many people described her display as “absurd, gratuitous, trite and desperate” but her website described her work as “volcanic explosions of colour from her vagina.” She did it all because of her love for art and the naked art that was on exhibition on the said day. A video footage recorded at the event showed Moire walking about unabated in the LWL Museum for Art and Culture in the city of Muenster in north-western Germany. People had different views of the woman’s lewd display. Also, Crazy Monkeys Have S@X While Standing On Tourist’S Lap | Photos & Video One 30-year-old art lover, Anke Lange, said, “I’m all for expression and alternatives in art, but this was just ridiculous.”From what I gather, she thinks that getting her clothes off, looking at paintings of nude people and holding a naked baby makes her become part of the art.”Contrarily, a 45-year-old visitor at the museum, Tobias Meyer, said, “I must admit it was more interesting than the average art exhibition.” See photos n video>>>https://www.infomaza.com/woman-walks-about-totally-naked |
Let’s face it—the job search is no walk in the park. It seems like just when you have things figured out and are making progress, yet another stumbling block swoops in and threatens to stand between you and that dream job of yours. Yes, there are plenty of job search challenges to overcome. But, fortunately, they don’t need to stop you in your tracks. There are a few different things you can do to move past those frustrating roadblocks and make it to the other side of your search—with as little stress as possible. Whether the competition is too fierce, you’re unwittingly making a serious mistake or two in your job search, or the lack of callbacks and interviews (and abundance of rejection) is getting you down, it’s perfectly normal to feel frustrated and defeated while on the lookout for a new job. And although an unsuccessful job search can be frustrating, accepting any old job or giving up altogether and consoling yourself with a tub of ice cream isn’t the answer. There’s a way off this slippery slope, and there are a few things you can do to make sure you’re successful in your job hunt. To help you out, we’ve highlighted common job search challenges and ways you can overcome them. Not Beating Applicant Tracking Systems With applicant tracking systems remaining at the forefront of the recruiting process, it’s often hard for your CV to reach the hands of a qualified recruiter. HR managers are increasingly relying on the power of ATSs to find suitable candidates based on keyword matches – undoubtedly one of the worst pieces of technology to solve a human problem. And although 75% of candidates are rejected from ATSs, you could be among the 25% of successful applicants – if you address a few issues before firing off your application, that is. Firstly, ensure the same keywords from the job description are incorporated into your CV naturally and, secondly, run your CV through an online ATS to spot any mistakes or missed opportunities before sending it to the hiring manager. Having No Connections In today’s job search, a referral provides you with a better chance of getting noticed – and hired – by employers. Not only is an employee referral programme a cheaper alternative to recruiting, but it also makes you a more trustworthy candidate in recruiters’ eyes as there is a common connection to vouch for you. So, if you’re embarking on your job search alone, you should change strategies and start talking to your acquaintances about it – they may know about an opening at their company and might be able to give you a recommendation. If you don’t have a wide professional network, meanwhile, consider attending networking events to improve your situation. Having No Clear Direction If you have a scattergun approach when it comes to job-hunting, you’re unlikely to be very successful. So, if you find yourself firing off 20 applications a day in the hopes that you’ll get called for at least one of them, you should probably take a step back and rethink your approach. Pay close attention to the job spec and make sure you have the required skills and experience, and then some. That way you will be focusing on jobs that you are perfectly capable of doing and will have a better chance of securing a new job. Only Having One Version of Your CV Another rookie mistake is having only one version of your CV and sending it out to different job positions. This is neither effective nor productive as different jobs require different skills. So, instead of having a one-size-fits-all CV, create a different version for each position you’re interested in and capable of doing. That said, you don’t have to rewrite the entire document; you can simply amend your career objective or tweak your work experience section to suit the job. Perhaps you might want to emphasise different skills for different opportunities to ensure it passes the ATS we mentioned above. Skipping the Cover Letter A rookie mistake many applicants make when applying for a job is failing to submit a cover letter. Many assume that hiring managers won’t read it and that it’s essentially a waste of time. But while they indeed don’t always read your cover letter, it doesn’t give you the green light to ditch it altogether! A cover letter gives a glimpse of your personality, your work ethic and your attention to detail in a way that a CV or résumé can’t! Although job ads don’t always specify that a cover letter is required, you should always write one to accompany your CV anyway. Failure to do so can cost you an interview. That said, don’t just write any old jargon; your cover letter should tell the hiring manager what relevant skills you bring to the table, along with examples of where you’ve used them in past positions. Sen. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola who represents Lagos West Senetorial district had on Saturday urged Nigerians to reject the antics of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019, saying the party has nothing to offer the country. Speaking with journalists at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat in Ikeja, Adeola said the PDP lacked the vision to govern the country. He noted that the 16 years of PDP in power was a waste as they did little or nothing to improve the lots of Nigerians. Adeola said the All Progressives Congress (APC) had put the country on the path of progress in the last few years, and would achieve much more in 2019. “Nigerians should reject the PDP in 2019; they have nothing to offer. They were in power for 16years and they achieved nothing. “in fact the three years of the APC administration are better than the years of PDP in power. It was 16 wasted years. PDP is a failure, they should be rejected,” he said. The senator said one particular step that pointed to what he called the ineptitude of the PDP was the way they privatised the power sector. Adeola alleged that the PDP sold power assets to friends and fronts all in the name of privatisation. He said the hangover of the problem was still with the country till date. The senator said electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOs) foisted on the country had done little to add value to the power sector, and Nigeria would be better with replacements. Adeola said he had acquitted himself remarkably well as senator representing Lagos West. He said his emergence in the primaries of APC to represent the zone again in 2019 reflected the confidence party men and the people had in him. Adeola said he had organised many empowerment programmes and executed many projects that had touched the lives of residents. He listed some of the programmes as the distribution of 500 UTME forms to school leavers, granting University scholarships to 56 students, and the facilitation of entrepreneurship training for 600 youths. https://www.infomaza.com/pdp-achieved-nothing |
The Nigeria Labour Congress has described the Federal Government’s silence on the N30,000 minimum wage proposal as provocative stressing that it expected President Muhammadu Buhari to have sent a draft bill to the National Assembly weeks after report on the minimum wage was submitted to him. Organised labour said it would not wait till eternity for the government on the issue. In an interview with the Punch Newspapers, the General Secretary of the NLC, Mr Peter Ozo-Eson, said members of the union were becoming restless with the way the government had handled the issue. He said that unless the government acted fast, the union might meet again to review government’s position and take necessary action to press home its demand. But he did not say when the leadership of the union would likely meet. Ozo-Eson said, “The latest about the issue of the minimum wage is clear. We expect that since the Presidency had already received our report, the President should have drafted an executive bill to the National Assembly on it so that they can begin to legislate on it. “That has not been done even though we expect that it should have been done already. We cannot continue to wait forever. “The next step as I said is for the President to transmit a draft bill to the National Assembly. The Federal government’s delay on the issue is provocative, our members are becoming restless and the federal Government must act fast on our report. “If the delay continues, our next step will be made public after we meet again to review the steps taken so far.” However, lack of an agreement on the National Minimum Wage has stalled the presentation of a bill to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari, investigations by The PUNCH have revealed. Findings showed that up to Friday, there was still no agreement on the proposed N30,000, a development further delaying the presentation of a bill to the legislature by the President. “There is still no agreement. There has to be an understanding between all the parties before the bill can go successfully to the National Assembly. “This is one of the setbacks as we speak. But, when things are sorted out, definitely, the bill will go to the National Assembly and the passage should be smooth,” a presidential source told one of our correspondents in Abuja. Recall that on November 19, the President and representatives of state governors had met in Abuja in a bid to resolve the dispute. It was gathered that the closed-door meeting, which took place at the Presidential Villa, made little progress as the majority of the governors reportedly insisted that they could not afford to pay anything above N22,500. The Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum and Governor of Zamfara State, Mr Abdulazeez Yari, led a team of governors to the meeting to speak for the governors. At the meeting, the governors were said to have stated that the options were for them to either reduce their workforce or the Federal Government would have to review the revenue sharing formula to make more money available to the states. NAN had reported that President Muhammadu Buhari reacted for the first time on Sunday to rumours that he is not the real Person elected by Nigerians but a look-alike double from Sudan, known as Jubril. He declared: ‘‘It’s real me, I assure you. I will soon celebrate my 76th birthday and I will still go strong.’’ President Muhammadu Buhari was speaking in Krakow, Poland, when he met Nigerians living in the country. For sometime, the fake news industry claimed that the Nigerian President is an impostor. The issue was raised by one of the Nigerians. But an unruffled Buhari reaffirmed his authentic identity. He described the authors of the confusion about him as ‘‘ignorant and irreligious.’’ ‘‘A lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health. Some even reached out to the Vice President to consider them to be his deputy because they assumed I was dead. That embarrassed him a lot and of course, he visited me when I was in London convalescing… It’s real me; I assure you,’’ he declared. The Nigerian leader said he was looking forward to celebrating his 76th birthday on December 17 and jocularly added: ‘‘If I am getting harassed by anyone, it is my grandchildren, who are getting too many.’’ The President used the occasion to reiterate that his government will continue to maintain focus and deliver on the three focal points of his campaign in 2015: security, economy and the fight against corruption. ‘‘Those in the North East will tell you that in spite of the recent setbacks, there is a difference between the time we came and before. ‘‘We are not doing badly on security, economy and agriculture. We have virtually stopped the importation of food especially rice and we are saving a lot of money. See Video>>>https://www.infomaza.com/jubril-real-buhari-pmb-speaks-video |

Health insurance is a type of insurance coverage that pays for medical and surgical expenses incurred by the insured. Health insurance can reimburse the insured for expenses incurred from illness or injury, or pay the care provider directly. Your health insurance can help you keep your healthcare costs manageable. But many families may not be maximizing the benefits their insurance provides—and could be paying significantly more than they need to for healthcare as a result. Here's how to ensure you get the most out of your insurance policy. With the steep costs of availing hospitalization, treatments, and medication, it only makes sense to protect yourself in every possible way by buying health insurance that offers comprehensive coverage. But to ensure that you get value for the money you spend and choose the perfect policy, it is important to understand some critical insurance terms and conditions. Waiting period This is the first element to consider. Each health insurance policy has a waiting period, which is a defined period of time, immediately after purchasing a policy, when you can’t make a claim. For instance, if your health insurance policy has a waiting period of 60 days and you buy the policy on January 30, 2018, you will be able to make a claim only after March 29, 2018. Room rent provisions In case you have to be hospitalised, your insurance company will cover costs of your hospital room. But, this is covered only up to a certain extent. It is very important to check what the extent of per day coverage is because you will have to bear any extra costs. What’s more, the other charges are also levied as per your room type and will be deducted accordingly by the insurance company. So, if your room rent coverage is very low, your out of pocket expenses will be much higher towards the room as well as other medical charges. Check if the network is wide enough It is important to look at the list of hospitals and clinics where your health insurance policy covers cashless treatment. The wider the network of cashless hospitals, the more useful you’ll find your health policy to be. Besides, the cashless facility means that you won’t have to negotiate claims processes. The insurer will settle the bill directly with the health service provider. See all here...>>>https://www.infomaza.com/health-insurance-tips |

The Academic Staff Union of Universitis (ASUU) has given conditions upon which the current industrial action will be suspended. The president of the union, Mr Ogunyemi said it was unfortunate that Nigerian leaders “like to move in circles without resolving the challenges rocking the system”. “Some of these conditions, ASUU said, include the full implementation of the Memorandum of Action (MoA) the two parties willingly signed in October 2017,” he said. “So the MoA must be implemented fully before we can even talk of suspension of the strike. If they implement the outstanding issues in the MoA fully and change the leadership of the negotiating team, then we can go back to the negotiation,” Mr Ogunyemi said. After last week’s meeting by ASUU and the federal government which yielded no satisfactory results, the two parties will on Monday (today) meet at the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja. The purpose of the meeting slated for 5 p.m. is to find a lasting solution to the ongoing strike. The union embarked on strike three weeks ago over the poor funding of Nigerian universities, an alleged plan by the federal government to increase students’ fees and introduce an education bank, as well as non-implementation of previous agreements. According to Mr Ogunyemi, the union’s position is aimed at repositioning the nation’s universities for global relevance.
