A friend of mine wants to sell a Saab 9-3 tokunbo car to me for 1.6mil. Pics below. I intend buying it for my wife for the purpose of school run, going to shop, and going to market only, so no much stress on the car. The distance from my house to my kids school and to shop is no more than 10mins.
I know its not a popular car, can it be able to serve this purpose for at least a year and six months without giving issues?
Is it a problematic car?
I want to price it down to 1.2 and I don't intend to keep it more than two years.

Please what is the best way to check transmission fluid in Toyota matrix 2004.

When the car is off .. I checked the dipstick it reads in between the HOT marks

Then I warm up the car , for about 15 minutes , engaged in drive and reverse and park .

Then check the dipstick again it's now below/or at the COLD mark . Does it means mean the fluid level is ok??

I think the gear is slipping while am driving and accelerating. So I want to know if the luid is low . Thanks

But this morning as I was about leaving, the car was cranking but refused to start. My neighbour brought out his battery and same thing. My colleague who came to finally pick me brought out his own battery too. Same issue. Car cranks but refuses to start. My mechanic said he wi come in the evening when I close from work.

Brief history; i hv a medium scale factory am setting up, i hv bought few machines of which the highest kw is 9kw of a particular machine and the rest falls below 9. Given that i hv some of this machines , i dont intended to run all these machines at same time so as to reduce load on the generator .

The diesel price in the market is nothing to write about even though its an industry i hv been into for years.i hv watched diesel move from 64naira to 760 per liter and i wonder how companies stay afloat . Yea sometimes as supplier we gain from our supplies does not mean we r happy with the event surrounding the industry.
I'm at the verge of establishing this factory and am torn between buying petrol generator or buying diesel generator and am seeking to get first hand advise from people currently running their business on both so i can make informed decisions .
My thought goes to buy japan 12kva firman generator if it's available as i heard original Japanese generators are strong .
