Oga Gazzuzz, kindly advise on this matter. I intend getting an affordable car and I have been considering a 2003/2004 Corolla but I think it’s quite expensive probably because people embrace the car well here in Naija. At the moment I’m considering a Volkswagen product but I want to know if this is a good idea. I don’t know much about VW. Pls give your opinion sir.

Please I want to know what will make the bolts holding the compressor to always break off. This is the second time this is happening in 2 months.
The car is a 2006 Corolla.

He said its Naija used o. Op I suggest you look for and read the comic thread GAZZUZZ made on an abused car that was upgraded to recommended oil weight. Since its Naija-used, choice of oil will depends on what the previous owner used and how regular he was with his oil changes.

A safe approach will be to start with conventional or semi-sythetic 10w-40 and work your way down to 5w-20 after you confirm it doesn't burn oil excessively. In this transition time remember to check oil level regularly.

Hi Gazzuzz.

pls what is causing this:

After parking my 206 for over 20minutes or early in the morning, it will become hard to start.
I do have to crank like 4 to 5 times before engine will start [even after priming fuel pump 10X].
But whenever I take a quick stop maybe to buy fuel or somtin, the engine starts instantly.
I don scan, no fault, no Check engine light.
So car sits for a long time; it bcoms hard to start. But when im already on motion and take a stop, engine starts immdiately. Abeg hep what's causing the hard start after car don sit for over 30mins or overnight.

contacted GAZZUZ last week for tyres. I needed 4 Units. I I gave him the specifications (225/60/17) for the 4 units.
He said he would check if its in stock and get back to me. So by Monday(18th) i called back, Gazzuz told me, they don't have up to 4 units at moment but if i wouldn't mind, he has 2 units that match my specification which he can give to me, so i asked him how much the two tyres will cost me. Gazzuz replied that i don't have to pay for them, that i can have them for free!!! I only have to pay for the cost of the waybill to me in Ibadan.
It was surreal. My heart leapt with joy!! I managed to contain myself and thanked Gazzuz profusely. My two rear tyres needed urgent replacement. One had lost thread and the other was warped.

On Tuesday(19th) i got a call from Gazzuz that the tyres were on their way to me in Ibadan. He said not to pay the driver as he had already paid him. That i can reimburse him when i take delivery of the tyres and i should let him know if the tyres fit. By Tuesday evening around 6.30pm i took delivery of the tyres in Ibadan.

This is a great act of kindness and i am still dumbfounded as prior to the time i called Gazzuz and up til this moment i have not met Gazzuz in person. I only follow his threads in stealth mode (learnt a great deal from them).


I WANT TO SAY A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO GAZZUZ.

P.S:
Sorry i didn't take pictures of the tyres prior to installation. As such i only have pictures of them after they were already fitted on the car.

My sister is a sales rep for a pharm company. and the company gave her a 2008 toyota yaris to use for business and most times, that car is just parked at home doing nothing. please, can uber or taxify allow her to signup the company car as a patner so she can make extra income from it. Thanks....
